Summer Bay – Tony and Rachel's House – Living Room/Kitchen

After the excitement of finding their loved ones had finally died down, Rachel and Tony along with Brad, Leah and Dan were currently sat in the living room talking.

"So, do you know when Xavier is due home yet?" Leah asks.

Rachel replied: "Well hopefully by the end of the week but it all depends on if the infection has cleared up by then."

"I suppose that's something." Leah replied.

"Yeah, it is." Tony said, "Although I don't think he will be let out of the house after he gets home if Marilyn has her way."

They all laughed at that except for Dan who was in a world of his not listening to the conversation.

Noticing how quiet her best friend's husband was, Rachel asked: "So Dan, have you heard anything from Drew?"

Hearing his name and the mention of his nephew, Dan sat up: "Err, no nothing so far."

"Must be tough."

"Yeah, well he hasn't shown up back at school and he's not at his mum's. He's also not answering his mobile, unfortunately it's because I handled things pretty badly, I think." Dan replied just as Ric knocked on the door.

Turning around, Tony said: "Hey Ric, if you're looking for Matilda she's not here."

"Oh." Ric said a little disappointed "Do you know where she is?"

"Charlie took her out for breakfast in Yabbie Creek but when she gets back, I can let her know you stopped by."

"That would be great thanks." Ric replied, "I better get going then and give Sal at hand with getting the house ready for Rocco getting discharged."

"No bother." Tony said as Ric waved goodbye and left.

"I think Cassie will be happy to have him home." Leah laughed.

"Who's Cassie?" Brad asked confused.

"Oh, she's my best friend Sally's adopted daughter." Leah informed him "Her boyfriend and the father of her baby was on the plane that went missing."

"That must be stressful for her." Brad said.

"Oh, it was, but thankfully he's home and safe and sound so she might relax a bit now." Rachel laughed.

(10:10am) 43 minutes later…

Summer Bay – Yabbie Creek – Northern Districts Hospital – Room 207

Irene had just arrived back at the hospital with both stuff for Amanda and Belle.

As Belle was going through her stuff, Irene said: "I suppose I brought all the wrong stuff."

Belle started placing stuff back in her bag replied: "No, it's great thank you."

"Thank you for this stuff as well Irene." Amanda replied as she came out of the bathroom after getting changed.

"That's ok I thought it would be best to stop by your place and grab a couple items." Irene said, "Thankfully I knew where Belle's keys were in her bedroom."

"You know what would be easier, Irene?" Belle asked the older woman in hope she would answer the question she'd asked Amanda earlier differently.

"Don't answer that." Amanda quickly said.

Looking at the blonde woman with a look of confusion, Irene asked: "Why not?"

"Because she wants to go home, and I've already said not until the doctor say she can." Amanda informed her.

"Well in that case, don't even think about it girly because I agree with your mother. You're not going anywhere till the doctor gives you the all clear." Irene says agreeing with Amanda.

"Fine!" Belle says not liking the answer "Do I have permission to get of this bed and go change in the bathroom?"

"Of course you do." Amanda replies with a smile.

With that Belle carefully gets off the bed and grabbing her stuff heads into the bathroom.

Once the door had been closed, Irene asked Amanda: "So has she asked anymore about seeing Kyle?"

"It was the first thing to come out of her mouth when she woke up."

"Surely there is something we can do to let her see him." Irene said.

"Actually, I was thinking about that and had an idea." Amanda told her.

Amanda then quickly started to tell Irene the idea she had come up with last night while Belle was asleep.

Summer Bay – Colby and Dean's Flat – Balcony

"How do you think Colby is this morning?" Willow asked her boyfriend as she passed him a cup of coffee.

"I don't know, I thought when they were found everything would go back to normal, but he seemed really quiet last night when we left." Dean replied taking the cup.

"Do you blame him?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, I just mean he's been in the bush trying to make sure they all got home safely and, in his eyes, he might think he failed. Look at how bad Kyle is and then Xavier was fine one minute and then not the next."

"I suppose so. I wonder how Kyle is actually doing because from what I heard he's not doing to well." Dean then went on to say, "When we found him, he'd been coughing up blood which we all know is not a good sign."

"No that certainly isn't." Willow replied unaware of the person who had just walked up the stairs.

"Coughing up blood was just part of it." A voice said from them.

Turning around, both Dean and Willow were shocked to see Colby standing there.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Dean said with a hint of anger.

"Got released on good behaviour." Colby joked, "Honestly, I was apparently good enough to be released so they discharged under the condition if I start to feel worse to go straight back."

Standing up, Willow walked over and give him a hug: "Well I for one are happy to have to you home even if Dean isn't."

"Thanks Willow." Colby replied, "Now if you don't mind, I might go have a shower."

With that Colby headed inside leaving the other two to wonder what else had happened to Kyle while they were in the bush.
