Chapter 34: Back to Earth-2

Eyes wide open…

Seth couldn't sleep a single wink. Not in his apartment, not in his home… Because it wasn't a home without Caitlin. She was taken from him and his family… By Zoom. It was the evil speedster's way of retaliating after he rescued Evelyn and Ruby from his evil lair.

He hated himself. Seth Fury hated himself because he had a chance to kill the evil speedster, but he didn't… Because of that stupid deal he made back on Earth-2 when the Time Wraiths kidnapped him and dragged him away.

He drank a cup of coffee, and his hands tightened around the mug, cracking the cup. Seth… He hated himself…

Because of his honor… because he chose to keep his end of the deal… He lost the love of his life. The woman who gave him the precious dog tags that he's rubbing right now. Even though he was in the home with his daughters right now, he couldn't help but feel alone. Every cell in his body hoped that he was gonna wake up from an outrageous nightmare and Caitlin would be in bed with him.

He hoped he would wake up and realize that the most amazing woman in all of this entire universe was still safe and sound and with him and their daughters again. With every fiber of his body, he hoped that this would happen and that it was reality, that it was real life.

"Dad…?"

Seth longed for that for happen…. But he knew that she was stuck on Earth-2… In Zoom's palm.

"Damn it…." He enragedly sneered to himself. The elemental didn't even register the scalding hot coffee beverage sipping through the cracks and burning his fingertips.

"DAD!"

Gaspingly, he released his hold on the mug when he heard his daughter shout into his ear. The moment he did so, it cracked into pieces and the liquid contents spilled all over the table. He was too wrapped up in his own world of self-hate to even notice that Frankie had to walk up close to his side to actually get his attention.

Getting up from his chair, he looked at his daughter. "Sweetie, what are you doing up? It's still early…" He trailed off, rubbing his eyes to get rid of the tiredness.

"You're not the only one who can't sleep, Dad." The young metahuman stated. After they returned from the off-site lab their aunt hid them at, she and her sisters heard the terrible news of their mother kidnapped by Zoom. They felt an array of emotions from the news, mostly anger and fear.

They were angered that they weren't there to help or save their mother from this monster's claws. They feared what would happen to their mother now…. And they couldn't but felt disappointed in themselves.

Frankie grabbed a kitchen towel and brought it to her father. "Dad, your hands."

Taking a glance at his fingers and saw the scalding heat emanating from them, Seth hollowly chuckled and took the towel. "Thanks, baby." He wiped his hands. "You know if your sisters are awake too?"

"I don't know, I haven't checked." She looked at the broken mug pieces on the table in front of her father. "Dad, it's not your fault."

"I know… Thanks sweetie." He said with a smile. But behind that smile are all the hate and emotions that he truly feels, all of them only directed to himself for his idiocy to not ram his sword through Zoom's heart right then and there when he had the chance to do so.

Seeing the knowing look on her face, Seth had to be honest with her. "But I can't help but feel like it is my fault, Frankie. I had…" He closed his eyes and clenched his fist. "I had Zoom dead to rights, but I didn't finish him… Your mom is captured because of me."

"Zoom did it because you saved Evelyn and Ruby, Dad… Don't be sorry for that, or regret that… It was the right choice, Dad." The young metahuman said, holding his hand.

The mutant stroked the back of her hands with his fingers. "Thank you, honey… But don't worry. Your mom's safe and strong… And we're gonna get her back."

"How, Dad?" Frankie asked doubtfully. "Zoom's got her on Earth-2, who knows where, a breach he can use to come back and forth between our Earths, and… He's not dying anymore."

Understanding her concerns, he said. "Doesn't mean he's invincible or immortal, kiddo… He's still a metahuman, he's got weaknesses like all of us… We're gonna defeat him and get Caitlin back, I swear to you."

Frankie knew that he didn't make promises lightly, especially with her mother's life on the line.

But she saw something in his eyes, something… A world… A world of roaring elements. Flames blazing with an intensity akin to hellfire. Water roaring and rippling into tsunamis. Earths splitting the ground open and swallowing up evil. Wind whirling into tornadoes. Lightning sparking above before striking down with numerous lightning strikes. Metal appeared all over the world, reinforcing it against any attacks. Huge icicles stuck out of the ground, icebergs appeared and stopped anything from attacking. Black flames erupted… Raining down on all threats and reduced them to ashes…

That world… she saw that in her father's gaze.

"Dad… What are you gonna do?" Frankie asked.

Freezing the spilled coffee with his hands, Seth replied adamantly. "I'm going back to Earth-2."

Even though he directed those words to Frankie, those words… echoed throughout the apartment loft and…

Someone else in the loft heard his words… and it didn't assure her in the least.

X

(S.T.A.R. Labs, The Cortex)

The next day, Cisco vibes Jay's helmet, checking on Caitlin on Earth-2 whilst the others look at him in anticipation. Seth and his daughters are the ones who are anxiously waiting for the viber to inform them of her well-being.

Seth clenching his fists so hard his bones are on the verge of breaking into pieces inside of his body. Even though his partner kept sending waves of emotions to soothe, he shook them off. It wasn't time for the inferno to be calmed down…

It was time for it to blaze even brighter and brighter… and more violently.

Cisco gasped, returning from his vibe. "I really wish we didn't have to keep Jay's helmet around. I hate this thing." He took off his goggles.

"Cisco." Seth said, hoping for the answer.

"Just want to put a dent in it." Cisco continued.

"Cisco!" Seth shouted impatiently. His roar-like voice made the engineer, Barry, Iris, Joe, Matt and Olivia jump in surprise in shock. "Did you see Caitlin in your vibe? Is she hurt? Is she-"

"She's fine, unharmed." Cisco told him and he sighed in relief. "Zoom's got her in his lair. She's scared, but she's okay."

"Are you sure?" Seth asked, stepping closer to the main console. "You didn't miss anything, did you?"

"I didn't, Seth. I swear, she's fine, as she can be in Zoom's lair." The viber stated.

"Fine… Thank God…" Seth rubbed his head. He inhaled sharply. "All right, we need to get her back."

"We know, Seth." Olivia told her brother. She rubbed his shoulder comfortingly. "But we can't lose our heads. Or you lose your head."

"Awesome, thanks for pointing out my problems, little sis." Seth sarcastically said.

"It's why I'm here." Olivia winked.

Joe then jumped in, gesturing to the former speedster. "But without Barry's speed, there's no way any of us can get through that breach that Cisco found at the hospital. I just don't think there's anything we can do right now."

Frankie was silent because she knew better. She knew what her father's plan was and… She didn't know how to feel about this. He just escaped the lion's den and now he was willing to jump back into it headfirst without hesitation. Her mother's life is on the line… and she didn't know how to feel about it.

"Don't worry, Frankie." Magenta assured her host with waves of emotions. "Daddy and his host aren't gonna do anything stupid."

"You heard them this morning, Magenta." The young magnekinetic said, accepting the soothing emotions from her "other". "They're going back to Earth-2… To save Mom. What should I do?"

"This… is one of the times I hate humans. They're filled with too many emotions!" Magenta complained wholeheartedly.

Seth remained silent as well as his daughter. But Ruby noticed her sisters and father being uncharacteristically quiet. "Dad?" She got his attention. "Why are you so silent? We're screwed."

"She's right." Harry walked into the Cortex, donning a coat and a cap. "And it's thanks to you, Al." He directed to Barry while walking to a drawer.

"Enough." The detective cut him off. "We're all suffering here." Realizing what he said, he looked to his nieces and his best friend. "Some more than others, for sure." He got nods of appreciation from them. But he noticed that Evelyn didn't react or say anything. That worried him. But seeing as her mother is in the clutches of an evil speedster it wasn't surprising that she'd be silent right now.

"That's right. That's right, Detective." The Earth-2 scientist agreed. "We're all suffering. We've lost Snow, Barry's lost his speed, and now…" He chuckled hollowly. "Now Zoom can come through that breach anytime he wants, because Fury isn't going to destroy it!" He shouted to the mutant who was unfazed by it. "Forgoing the last one, everything else's… That's on you, Allen."

"Hey, that's on all of us, okay?" Iris jumped, having seen the look of regret on Barry's face. "We made these decisions as a team."

Harry picked up his gun and looked between the team. "No, we didn't." He gestured to Seth's children. "And because of that, Fury's family is suffering the most." He walked to another table to retrieve a bag.

"Where are you going?" Barry asked.

"With Black Cat's information, I'm gonna go find Jesse before Zoom does…" Harry slammed his bag down on the table. "Again. But I had to be sure."

"Sure? What do you mean by that?" Matt asked.

"Don't you trust Cat?" Olivia followed up.

"I had to be sure, and yeah, I don't." Harry answered. "I used cellular dead zones, remote…" He sighed and explained. "People from my Earth vibrate at a different frequency than people from your Earth. They leave cellular dead zones wherever they go."

"Really?" Ruby asked.

"Yup." Harry said with a nod.

"That's why I'm always dropping calls around you?" Cisco humored.

"Okay, wait… How did that help?" Iris wondered.

"I heard Cat's information, but at the same time, I tracked the dead zones created by Jesse since she got here and I followed the trail, and it matched Hardy's findings. It's easy." He put his bag on his back and cocked his energy rifle.

Olivia narrowed her eyes. "I don't know how Earth-2 Parenting goes, but you sure you're gonna need a gun to bring your daughter back?"

"Fury-Stark, use your brain." Harry said and Olivia had to literally wrap psychic energy around her husband to keep him from attacking the Earth-2 scientist in anger. "The gun is not for my daughter. She's not the only person from a different Earth, hiding out on this one. If I run into them, I'm gonna need this."

"Wells?" Seth finally spoke, getting his attention. "Matt's gonna send you Felicia's info. She can help you out."

"Destroy that breach, Fury, before we lose more people, then you can send me Cat's number." Harry walked to the exit.

"Not that I doubt Felicia's capabilities, man, but sure she can help?" Cisco wondered. "Shouldn't we have others help you?"

Harry looked at him disbelievingly. "Really? You know anyone with the speed to help me, Ramon?" He finished off before walking away.

"Guess I have to get going then." Seth muttered under his breath. "Girls, come with me for a second." He asked them and they walked into the corridor.

Olivia looked to her husband. "You know what you have to do, right?"

Matt pulled out the dimensional transport device that he modified. "Already got it made." He walked after the elemental and his daughters.

X

"Wait what?" Ruby asked in a loud whisper when she heard her father reveal his plan to go back to Earth-2 to rescue Caitlin. "You're really going back to that hellhole, Dad?" She shot an apologetic look to Evelyn. "No offense, Evie."

"None taken." Evelyn spoke for the first time today.

"I am going back to Earth-2, yeah, alone." Seth clarified but also stated adamantly to his daughter so she wouldn't fight back on his decision.

But she would fight him on this, nonetheless. "Dad, are you serious? Why aren't you bringing Uncle Matt into this?"

Seth crouched down before her. "The Flash is gone… This city, our home… They need all the heroes they can need. You, Frankie, Evelyn, your Uncle Matt and your Aunt Liv… They're gonna need all the help they can have."

His eyes looked between his daughters. "There's no one I trust as much as you three… You're mother's the same… Which is why I know I can leave this city in safe hands, in your hands… With absolute confidence." He chuckled.

"Dad… Are you serious?" Frankie said. "You really think it's a good idea to go back there? You were gone for a year, Dad. A year."

"I know, honey." Seth said, stroking her cheek. "But I will be back… With your Mom, safe and sound. We're not a family without your Mom. I promise you that… On my life as your father."

"Do you promise that Dad?" The young magnekinetic said. "We… We can't lose you too."

The elemental took her hands. "You're never… Never gonna lose me or your mother. Not now, that's for sure. You're never gonna lose us…" He kissed her forehead. "I promise you that, right here and now, sweetheart." His eyes pointed to the others. "And I promise you two the same. I'm gonna go back to Earth-2 and bring your mother back. Alone… While you guys protect our home."

At that moment, Ruby saw the same world that her sister saw this morning when she woke up. She saw that same world with thousands of destructive and thunderous elements. A world that was clearly a No Man's Land. And that world… even scared her, shaking her bones.

"Okay?" Seth asked.

"Yeah." The former assassin nodded.

"Fine, Dad." Frankie agreed. Both of them reluctantly agreeing. Evelyn didn't speak and covered her head with her hoodie.

Seth noticed that and he was about to address it. "Yo, Seth!" But he heard Matt call out to him as he walked to them.

"Coming." He replied before walking to the nanite mutant. "What is-"

"Heads up!" Matt threw something.

Raising his hand in an instant, he effortlessly grabbed the object and examined it. He saw that it's the dimensional transport device. "What's this for?"

"It's gonna take you back to Earth-1." The nanite mutant stated. Seth and his children looked confused and shocked. "I'm not an idiot, I knew the moment Caitlin was captured you'd go guns blazing to Earth-2 and get her back, I know that. I'd have done the same if it were Livia on the line. I'm not gonna stop you. Best I can do is help you."

"Thanks…" He expressed.

"Don't destroy the breach." Matt surprised him. "That device in your hand… I brought it to that abandoned hospital. Cisco opened two breaches there, and because of that implosion device on Wally's chest, I managed to get the Earth-2 frequency, so this device can bring you to that Earth and bring you back to this one."

"Waiting for the big "but."" Seth admitted.

Matt chuckled. "You know me too well. Yeah, this thing might not be able to work on that end, because it hasn't been tested."

"Lovely, using me as a guinea pig." Seth sarcastically humored. "But I wasn't gonna destroy that breach anyway."

"Really?" The mutant heard Evelyn say in shock.

"Nope." Seth shook his head. "I can destroy breaches but not make them. So… Keeping the breach open is best for now." The elemental mutant gave his daughters a look and a nod. "Love you girls… Gonna go now and take care of things now…" They nodded and watched their father walk away.

"Godspeed, Seth Fury and bring back Caitlin." Matt said.

"Course I will." Seth said… as the Lethal Protector.

Evelyn… She kept her eyes on her father as she walked towards the exit.

X

Having gotten the location from Cisco's location services on his phone, Seth made his way into the abandoned mental hospital. He had a backpack on his back, filled with some rations and some devices that he can use, including personal belongings.

As he tightened the strap of his backpack with his left hand, he tightened his right hand around the handle of his large crystal sword. "You ready for this Venom?" He asked, his eyes locked onto the swirling breach in front of him.

"Round two… Here we go." Venom growled excitedly as he accepted this challenge.

"This is more than a round… More than a fight… This is war." Seth declared. Anyone who messes with his family will meet a fate worse akin to that of a death. He wasn't gonna let Zoom get away with this. Not with him taking Caitlin hostage and keeping her in a cell, chained to a bed…

The love of his life… He's gonna save her no matter what.

"We're gonna kill that bastard! Or die trying…" Seth shouted to himself before stepping back. His feet enveloped in symbiotic mass and formed black clawed feet. Lightning sparked around his entire body before rushing forward.

He jumped into the breach…

Behind him… a shroud of shadows appeared.

X

(Earth-2)

Seth appeared out of the breach, but his momentum was too great, and he ended up rolling on the floor. "Ow." He exclaimed in pain as he got into a crouched position. He looked upwards and saw that he found himself… In another abandoned hospital.

He took a look at his surroundings, finding ECT equipment and chairs with leather straps to his surprise. Most of the equipment was broken or down right blown into pieces. Taking a sniff of the place, he covered his mouth and realized that the smell in the air is dried blood.

Piecing everything together in his head, Seth admitted his realization. "Great another abandoned mental hospital."

"Didn't Cisco and Matt tell us that the breaches between our Earths are connected to different places?" Seth sent a mental nod to his "other." "Then how and why is a mental hospital on our Earth connected to a mental hospital to this Earth?"

"Query for those who are experts at this stuff." Seth admitted before checking his backpack. Assured that it was undamaged, he picked up his sword and walked towards the exit.

"AAAARRRRGGGHHH!"

Hearing that scream coming from behind him, he snapped around… Just in time for Evelyn to land on him and send them down to the ground. His ears perked at the sound of her quiver and her bow clattering behind them.

He looked up and saw his daughter look up from his chest, her eyes peering through her black and white eye mask and seeing her dad's eyes of surprise. "Evie?!"

"Hey, Daddy." She giggled sheepishly.

Seth lifted her up from his body and placed her on her feet. He saw her in her suit again and asked. "Evie, what the hell? Why are you here? Did you follow me? What's going on?"

Evelyn answered. "Sorry, Dad. I followed you from S.T.A.R. Labs and yeah, that's why I am here." She answered cheekily.

"Why… But why?" Evelyn opened her mouth, but Seth cut her short. "Doesn't matter. Go back through the breach now." He pointed to the breach behind her.

"No, Dad." Evelyn shook her head.

"Come again?" Seth really didn't like having to be stern, much less on another Earth.

"Dad, you were alone on this Earth once… I won't let that happen again." Seth didn't know what to say to her. Evelyn tearfully confessed. "I already lost two parents… I'm not gonna lose my parents again."

Now… Seth was speechless at his daughter's tearful and heartfelt words. She was in fear of once again losing her parents. On this Earth she lost her parents, hated and shunned by her family, and for the better of her life she just found supportive and loving parents in Caitlin and himself.

And she'd be damned if she lost those two as well.

In her eyes, Seth saw himself… and he was conflicted if he should be proud or worried.

But he let proud take the reins and smiled. "What's it gonna take for you guys to stop growing up?"

Evelyn wiped tears away. "Maybe not have our aunt throw us around when she's training us."

"Gonna review that one, for sure." Seth admitted.

"Besides, Dad…" Seth looked to her as she picked up her equipment. "You had a year on this Earth, sure, but I know this terrain much better than you. Plus, it's better in teams than a one man, you know."

"Fine…" Seth chuckled at Evelyn's words. "For the first time, I hate logic. Fine, let's go."

"What's the plan? Go straight to Ascension's Cliff and get Mom back?" Evelyn asked.

"No, chances are he could be holding her at a different location like he did before with that man in the mask. Now… We're gonna visit some old friends." Seth revealed his plan.

X

(Zoom's Lair)

Caitlin couldn't stop… She didn't understand it. It was like her mind was shut off and she was thinking with another inner organ in her body. But though she tried to repeatedly shake it off, she couldn't do it.

She couldn't stop salivating at the sight of that big, fat, greasy burger on the metal tray in front of her. She could see the steam emitting from it. The sesame bun looked crisp and warm. The slice of cheddar cheese is still affected by its heated surroundings, melting in response and covering the thick burger patty and crispy slices of bacon underneath it. A fresh piece of lettuce under the patty, between it and the bottom bun. Her eyes drifted to the piping hot French fries, seasoned with both salt and black pepper.

Her tongue slid out between her lips and licked the surfaces of them in hunger.

This was the first time she was… This immensely hungry. Like she was staring at her last meal on Earth.

But she couldn't eat it. It came from Zoom, a known serial killer on Earth-2, the evil speedster who held the love of her life in a cage, along with her daughters, manipulated their teams and handcuffed her to the ratty old bed.

Her mind… Whatever it was that was thinking right now, she was focused on the meal in front of her.

Her heart, though, it was thinking of her daughters and Seth. She knew better, but it was like with her thought of worry for them, her heart slowed down a beat. With both her hands cuffed together, she raised them to her neck. Fingers on both hands rubbing the magenta crystal and the snowflake protected by Venom's maw. An instinct in her told her that Seth was thinking of her… That he is thinking of her right now, just like their daughters.

And it made her heart beat normally… Even in this abysmal situation.

WHOOSH

A gust of air hit her face, her hair blowing into the air.

Zoom looked at her. His eyes drifting to the metal tray with untouched food. "You need to eat." Caitlin gave the food a glance, keeping her eyes on them. "Caitlin."

"If you want to speak to me, then take off that mask." Caitlin demanded.

Zoom sped away, taking off his entire suit and adorning normal garments. Hunter gestured to his current attire and asked. "Does this make you feel better?"

She scoffed at his words. "Nothing you could ever do would make me feel better."

"You don't need to be afraid… or angry, Caitlin." Hunter noticed the two emotions on her face. Slowly walking to the front of the bed, he said. "I'm not gonna hurt you."

"I doubt that." Caitlin faced him. "Seth rescued Ruby and Evelyn from you, you kidnap me. That's why you did it, isn't it…?"

"Maybe." Hunter chuckled.

"You only care about yourself… Hunter." Caitlin stated.

Hunter's head twisted and turned at that name, the memory of his father killing his mother in front of him returned at full strength to the front of his mind. When it ended, he said. "I know you think that I'm a monster. I understand why. But that'll change. Please, Cait-"

"Do not call me that." Caitlin cut him off. Hunter smiled; he knew that she only let those she cares about call her that. "Why are you keeping me here? Only to anger Seth? To get back at him? What is it? You're cured. You don't need me for anything."

"You're here… Because I'm indebted to you, Caitlin." Caitlin looked confused. Hunter explained. "Of all the people on Team Flash… You tried to help me, to cure me… I can't ignore that."

"I don't believe you." Caitlin shook her head. "You… Did this because you hate Seth for challenging you."

"Who knows?" Hunter smiled, crouching beside the bed. "It may take a while, but someday, you'll start… Realizing that." He chuckled at that denial in her eyes. It was amusing. "Make yourself at home." His hand vibrated and shattered the cuffs around her wrists, releasing her. "You're gonna be here awhile. Okay?"

WHOOSH

He speeds away.

Caitlin sighed in relief because he was gone, and she was released. She gave her untouched meal a last look before getting up from the bed. The bed creaked as she removed herself from it. Her eyes took in her surroundings, seeing that the lair was as her mate explained. Filled with broken, rusty machines and other metallic items of various sizes.

Her eyes noticed the large glass-like cages in the far end of the lair. Caitlin walked towards them and immediately gasped at the sight of a sleeping man with a torn tophat. He has no arm. "How is he still alive…" From Seth's adventures on this Earth, she knew that it must be Mr. Bliss. But that question stuck with her. That a man in such a poor state was still alive.

Ears perked up at the sound of annoying tapping. She immediately looked in that direction and saw the man in the iron mask that Seth spoke about. Caitlin walked to that cage and saw the iron masked prisoner facing her with a pleading look through his eye slits.

The doctor failed to notice the icy-blue eyes looking at her.

As he continued to tap on the glass, Caitlin shook her head and expressed. "I- I don't understand."

The other female prisoner then announced her presence. "Well, hello, doppelganger of mine."

Caitlin snapped around and her eyes widened in shock at the sight of… herself with icy blue eyes, pure white hair and pale white skin. At that sight, the doctor took this chance to look at her attire. She is adorned in a dark blue leather jacket and pants of the same color and material. Her feet continued within high heels. Under her leather jacket is a blue leather animal print top with a dark leather belt around her waist.

Killer Frost was intrigued and shocked at the sight of her. "What do you know? I can still pull off brunette."

"God, I hope she talks like this!" A man screamed in his head while Caitlin was overwhelmingly shocked by her doppelganger.

X

"Dad, why are we going to see Felicity and not Barry and Iris?!" Evelyn screamed her query as she was clutching her father's back as Venom as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop, occasionally swinging towards the technopath's last destination.

Landing on a horizontal flagpole, Venom jumped off it with tremendous speed. He landed on the side of a building, using it as a lane for him to run on. "We had Barry and Iris go to Mera if they have problems with Zoom, chances are they're in Atlantis. Eye Sight's the best option for now." He finished off, jumping into the air.

Lashing out both hands, tendrils shot out from the back of his hands and latched onto opposite buildings far from him. Pulling on them, he slingshot himself further ahead.

"Okay, I get that!" Evelyn gulped; her eyes closed out of fear of looking down. "But couldn't I just have shadowported us to their place?!"

"You've never been there." Venom reminded her as he saw a blue crane within his field of vision. He thrusted an arm out, shooting out another tendril and wrapped it around the jib. Swinging under it, he hurled himself into the air and spun. He kept a hand tight around his daughter's form before twirling in the air.

Letting gravity do its work, he landed on the top of the jib, standing close to the tower peak. He unwrapped his hand from Evelyn's form, keeping her secured with tendrils from his back instead. The two looked down on the city, both smiling at the city.

"Wow…" Evelyn's smile broadened.

Seth turned his head to her. "What is it, Evie?"

"This…" Evelyn gestured to the city underneath them. "This… This is how you see the world, Dad? From above like a bird?"

"Usually ends with us swinging into birds, actually." Seth quipped, but it was the truth. "Kinda weird…"

"What is?" Evelyn asked. But as the question passed through her mouth, she enjoyed the breeze touching her face, blowing up her hair and making it flow in the air.

Venom's mouth opened up, the mutant's head sliding out of it. "Second date your Mom and I went out on, a mutant date… We swung through the city and… Danced on a frozen lake."

"Really?" Evelyn asked in surprise. She never heard this before, not even from Frankie.

"Yeah." He chuckled. "Guess I never told you that before."

Evelyn saw the look on her father's face and leant close to him, wrapping an arm around his neck. "Don't worry, Dad. We're getting Mom back."

"We are." Seth nodded confidently. His eyes caught sight of the bar. "There." His voice morphed as the symbiote engulfed his head. The elemental jumped off the jib and swung towards that location. He performed a spin in the air before landing on the edge of the rooftop of an adjacent building.

Both he and Evelyn landed on the ground and saw that the entire place was… gone. All the remnants of the bar after Orion and Dollmaker's attack are gone and it was completely left bare. "What's going on?" Eclipse asked in confusion. "It's supposed to be here, right?"

"Yeah." Venom got worried. Had the group been wiped out… or have they relocated? He hoped that it was the latter.

"Venom?"

Both he and Evelyn turned their heads to the side and were shocked to see Kyle Nimbus standing there with a box of beer bottles there. He lowered the box to the ground and looked back at them with equal shock. "What are you doing here? I thought you returned home."

Retracting the symbiote into his form, Seth stated. "Things took a sour turn and we had to come back here." Nodding to the barren field that was once for the bar, he asked. "What happened to the place? Thought it was gonna be rebuilt?"

"That was the plan, but with the cops showing up here more frequently, Felicity decided to take things underground." The gas metahuman directed to the left side of the empty area. They followed the direction of it. "Come with." Kyle picked up the box and walked towards the barren area.

"Wait, the bar is still here?" Evelyn asked.

"No, the base is." Kyle clarified.

"Sorry to hear about that, Kyle." Seth expressed. "I know it was important for you."

Kyle faced him. "You saved my friends. That place is important, but that was only because of my friends there. I can lose a place over and over again, because it can be rebuilt but my friends… they're the ones I can't lose." He faced the mutant. "So, thanks for it."

"Don't mention it… But right now, I need Felicity's help to find someone important to me." Seth asked.

Nodding his understanding, Kyle walked to the nearest wall and placed his hand on the wall. A scanner emitted a blue light under his palm, scanning his fingerprints. A small panel opened up on the ground and revealed a staircase.

"Nice." Evelyn said.

Kyle led the father and daughter down the wide staircase. The young metahuman heard the panel close down behind them as they walked down.

Unlike before the attack, Seth saw that there weren't any circular 360-degree video security cameras. He did see that the base was much like the previous base. A long hallway with one door to the left. Another one to the right and one further at the end of the hallway. "Place hasn't changed that much." He admitted.

"Place hasn't yeah. But the boss, she's terribly changed." Kyle formed a squeamish expression as he walked away to the storage.

Seth chuckled before opening the door to the left, remembering this was where Felicity worked. Opening up, he was immediately assaulted by a scream.

"WORK GODDAMN PIECE OF JUNK!"

The mutant and his daughter stood paralyzed when they heard the technopath, donning… Rainbow colors in her hair and screamed at the three computer monitors on her desk. Her eyes are red, and her teeth gritted. "What's it gonna take for you to work?!"

"Ask it out for dinner first? That usually works." Seth quipped.

Felicity snapped her eyes up at the familiar voice and gasped at the sight of Seth. "Seth?! You're back?!"

"Why are you always screaming, you banshee?" Seth countered. At that moment, he felt like an old man.

"Sorry!" Eye Sight screamed her answer, rushing around the desk before hugging the elemental. "Good to see you again, man." She smiled and unwrapped her arms. "That's Evelyn, right?"

"Good to see you, Felicity." Evelyn smiled.

"But… What brings you guys here? I thought things turned out good or something, right? You returned home." The technopath asked.

"That's a long story." Seth said before beginning a very long tale of what has recently transpired.

DING

The elevator chimed and Harry walked into the floor. He struggled to believe that his daughter had found a condo in such an expensive building like this. He questioned Black Cat's information right now. The doors opened and he walked into the floor.

He walked down the hallway, walking to the end of the hallway. Raising a fist, he knocked on the door. His ears perked up at the sound of loud music coming from the other side. "It's awful." He commented on the blaring songs.

The door opened up and Harrison was shocked to see it was Felicia Hardy answering the door, clad in a tight black and white dress. Registering the Earth-2 scientist and his rifle, the burglar leant against the doorframe and pointed down the hall. "Wrong number, pal. Laser tag club's in 2D."

He knew she was referring to his rifle. "Funny as always, Hardy. Not!" He sniped.

"Trust me, honey, I'm funny as heck. You just don't get it, even though you're so, so smart." Felicia chuckled.

Harry didn't have time for this. "I'm looking for Jesse." He looked into the condo and saw the expensive items in the living room. "What's with all the expensive stuff, Hardy?"

Felicia stepped to the side, letting the scientist walk in. "Thought Wayward Girl needed some good things in her life." She replied while closing the door.

Harrison gestured to the open bottles of various expensive alcohol. "She's underage."

"Those are for me." The burglar clarified. "Your kid can't be the only one having fun, you know. And you're, like, the first person who's ever come to visit her."

"What?" Harry asked.

"For real, you're the only one who showed up to meet her." Felicia took a seat at the couch, taking a box of chocolate and placing her feet on the table. "Complete loner that girl of yours."

"She's from another Earth, Hardy." Harry stated the obvious, but the burglar didn't care and ate a piece of chocolate. "Thought Fury asked you to track Jesse, not to be her roommate."

"I did track her…" Felicia smirked. "But when she started to look at condos, I helped her out, and myself, and we now share a pretty good place together."

"You're an enigma." The Earth-2 scientist stated.

"How'd you find me?" Jesse asked her father, showing up behind the couch.

Looking at her, Harry showed a smile of happiness. He was happy to see her again after what felt like an eternity. "Jess… Cellular dead zone. I told you, I'd find you wherever you went."

Felicia chuckled. "Must be happy you didn't sign up on Craigslist."

"Yeah." Jesse sighed.

"Listen." Harry got their attention. "We need to go."

"So, what?" Jesse started. "You think I'll be safer with you?"

"Yes." Harry answered.

Sighing deeply, Jesse walked to the nearest recliner, picking up a piece of chocolate from Felicia. "Yeah, I think I'm gonna pass." She took a seat in the recliner, tossing the chocolate into her mouth.

"We need to leave." Harry told her adamantly.

"No, okay?" Hints of anger showed themselves in her voice. "No, I'm not going anywhere with you ever again."

"You are… You are in danger." Harry said. "Do you understand? You are in grave danger."

"I know!" Jesse shot up after exclaiming. "I'm in danger because of you."

"Because of me?" Harry asked confusedly.

Felicia stayed out of this conversation.

"Yeah!" Jesse shouted. "Okay, everything that's happened, it's your fault. Zoom hunting us, the metas, moving here." She inhaled deeply. "I'm done with it. Okay, you wanted me to start a new life, and that is exactly what I'm trying to do." She walked away.

"No, Jess. Jess-"

"You killed a man!" Jesse snapped at her father. "I can't just forgive you for that. And I may be afraid of Zoom, but… But I am just as afraid of you. Please, just… Just go." Jesse begged him.

Harry looked hurt and didn't know what to say or do. He… He walked towards the door. "Hardy?" He got the burglar's attention. "Take care of her."

"Sure thing." Felicia assured him before he opened the door and walked out. She faced Jesse who walked to the couch. As she took a seat beside her, the burglar said. "You're scared of Daddy now?"

"Can we please not dive into this?" Jesse asked in a plea.

"Fine." Felicia said. "But I do hope the others are doing fine."

"Why do you say that?" Jesse stated in confusion.

Felicia informed. "Because Caity's kidnapped."

(Earth-2, Felicity's Base)

"The Flash was Zoom along?" Felicity asked.

"Yup." Seth said after he and his daughter explained everything that happened on Earth-1 to the technopath. "And he kidnapped Caitlin, my Caitlin."

"My Mom." The young metahuman added heartfully.

Felicity smiled at those words. "Glad you finally adopted those kids." She directed to the mutant. "But you need my help with getting Caitlin back?"

"Yeah, and maybe track Zoom's location." Seth hopefully said.

"I can try, but if he's cured, as you said, he might just be too fast to be tracked by my powers." Felicity asked as she placed her hands on the computer.

"Thanks." Seth smiled.

"Okay, I gotta ask…" Evelyn pointed to her hair. "What is going on with your hair, Felicity?"

"This is the one way I can keep my shapeshifting from changing my hair all the time." She answered while her eyes were glued to the screens in front of her. "And sorry if this takes too long. With the bar gone, we lost most of the bandwidth and everything takes too long now."

"That's why you screamed at your screens before?" Seth inquired.

"Got it in one." She quipped her response.

"Hey." Seth got her eyes to turn upwards, meeting his own. "You hear from Barry and Iris? They are still in Atlantis with Mera?"

"Yeah, they are. The two have asked for an extended vacation which they're taking advantage of, just to stay away from Zoom and enjoy some quality time." Seth did not want to dive into that one. Felicity smiled. "Mera's been sending more and more Atlantean weapons to our base here after you left and more of our old friends are coming back by the second. Each of them itching to hurt Zoom."

"Oh yeah, that reminds me, where's Tony and Marcus?" Seth asked after noticing the technopath's most trusted partners aren't anywhere to be found.

"They're at subbases around the city, places neither the cops nor Zoom go near. They're helping other metahumans who've returned." The metahuman stated. "Arming them and helping control their powers."

"Nice." Seth said.

Evelyn got a bit impatient. "Felicity, what about my Mom? Can you find her?"

"Not her, but did get a ping from Zoom running away from Ascension Cliffs." Felicity notified them. "He must have been at his lair."

"Caitlin must be in there." Seth said with clenched hands. "Thanks, let's go." He and Evelyn turned to the door.

"Seth?" Felicity stopped them. She nodded to the wall to the right. "She's okay and… "sleeping."" She added air quotations.

"Thanks." Seth nodded.

"Hey, she's my icy friend, too. Don't worry." Felicity replied. "Means a lot to me, as well. I'll check on her in a bit… You two, get your girl back."

"We will." Evelyn took her father's hand and disappeared into a shroud of shadows.

Felicity laughed. "Gotta love that suit." She admitted. Walking around her desk, she walked towards the door and walked out of her office.

Time to check on the sleeping ice beauty.

(Earth-1, S.T.A.R. Labs)

"Crime Rate Climbs Higher" The news headline read as the footage continued, showing the aftermaths of attacks. "And a new report shows that petty crimes have risen slight this month, but various young heroes rose to face them and stop their crime sprees."

Barry watched the news reporter continue his footage with a sour expression on his face. Cisco and Matt walked into the Cortex.

The nanite mutant saw the former speedster looking at the news footage. "Jarvis, turn off the news." The AI obliged and turned off the TV.

"Don't watch that." Cisco told the CSI scientist.

"Cisco, everybody's gonna realize sooner or later that I don't have my speed." Barry glanced at Matt who's clad in his Iron Knight. "Good thing we got you, Seth and his kids here too. Help the city while the Flash's gone."

"Yeah…" Matt trailed off.

"The later the better. The last thing we need is every criminal in the city thinking they're untouchable, right?" Cisco hollowly mused.

Barry asked. "Matt, where's Seth? I tried calling him before, but he's not answering."

"Well, it'd be difficult answering from another Earth." Barry and Cisco snapped their eyes to him in shock. Matt clarified. "Seth went to Earth-2 to get Caitlin back."

"Alone?" Cisco asked in disbelief.

"Are you serious? That's stupid. He's gonna try and fight Jay alone?" Barry followed up.

"Apparently not alone." Olivia jumped in as she and her nieces walked into the Cortex. Matt was confused when he saw that Evelyn wasn't with them. "My bro's not going alone."

"What?" Cisco asked in further shock.

"Evie's gone with him." Ruby explained.

Frankie held up a note. "Checked her room and her suit was gone. All that was left was this note, saying that she's gonna help Dad."

"So, they went to Earth-2, without telling any of us?" Barry asked in shock.

Matt shrugged. "Barry, Seth's girlfriend, the mother to his daughters is in the clutches of a psychopath on another Earth. Even if we tried to stop him, he'd just push us aside and go to Earth-2 anyway."

"Evelyn must have joined him because she knows that territory better than him." Olivia deduced.

"Sounds likely, yeah." Matt agreed.

Barry looked between the two mutants. "Guys, why are you two so calm and casual about this? Your best friend and brother just walked off alone to another Earth, one that he just returned from… And you're so not worried."

"Barry." Olivia got his attention. "If this was someone you love, like Seth loves Caitlin, would you have done any different?" The speedster was speechless and merely nodded, imagining that Iris was the one in Zoom's claws and not Caitlin. A worry of planetary sizes swallowing him. "Besides… Me and Matty are so calm because we have faith in Seth and Evie."

"Nothing's gonna stop them from saving Caitlin even if it is Zoom." The nanite mutant added. "You gotta have faith in him, man."

"Right… I just hate being unable to help out there." Barry said.

"We know…." Olivia wrapped her arms around her nieces heads and pulled them close. "But thankfully, we got two badass kids here who can fill the void. Trust us, Furys can handle any stuff that might come up, Barry."

"Yeah, what could possibly go wrong with them here?" Matt stated amusedly. Suddenly chimes emanated their sounds over their heads. Hearing that sound, he stated. "That is not on me, okay?" His nieces looked doubtful.

"What is that?" Frankie asked, her hands clenching in anger and her eyes flashing magenta in response.

"Something not good." Cisco walked to the console, standing by the computers.

"What is it?" Ruby asked.

The native engineer took a seat and answered worriedly with a gulp. "It's Harry."

"What's wrong with him? Didn't he get Jesse?" Matt inquired.

Bringing up the footage from his vehicle, Cisco responded. "The camera in the lab van recorded an accident. See, this is my version of crash assist."

"Like Russian dash cams?" Matt asked when seeing the paused footage on the monitor behind them.

"Yeah, kinda, but, you know, without attack helicopters and bad pop music on the radio." Cisco clarified.

"You made them child-friendly." Ruby deduced, in her own strange way.

Cisco frowned in hurt and started the video footage from the lab van. It showed Harry crashing into something, his body ricocheting in the driver seat and caused the airbag to blow up to cushion his fall. The footage showed static repeatedly from the crash.

But it wasn't a crash… The footage showed an elder man in an open dark green tracksuit jacket… Tearing off the driver's seat door with ease and then dragging the barely-conscious Harry out of the lab van.

"That doesn't look like an accident." Matt stated.

"Our luck's getting worse. First Mom's taken, and now Wells' kidnapped." Frankie angrily said.

"We're gonna get them back, honey." The psychic said comfortably. Turning to Cisco, she asked. "Cisco, try getting the location of the van."

"Already on it, Liv." Cisco typed away on the computer. He tracked the location of the van, getting its route and stated his findings. "This is where he got taken, but there aren't any traffic cams in that area."

Barry said. "I'm gonna head out there, see what I can find." He walked to the exit.

"I'm going with you." Matt answered, following the former speedster. "Girls, stay with your Aunt and keep the city safe in case something happens."

"Will do, Uncle Matt." Ruby assured him.

"Find Harry." Frankie said back, she was indebted to him as he helped bring her mother back from Grodd's clutches back when he showed up.

"I'll analyze this footage and see if we can figure out who this is." Cisco stated his plan.

"All right." Olivia remembered another important fact. "Wait a sec, what was the last location the van stopped?"

"Woodmen and Shore for about 15 minutes before heading back to Central City. Why?" Cisco asked.

"It's where Jesse is." Olivia said. "Felicia said she was staying there with her."

Barry pulled out his phone. "She should know if something's happened to her dad." He called Iris. "Iris, hey. I need your help with something." He started as he and the nanite mutant walked towards the exit.

"Jarvis?" Olivia got the AI's attention. "Call Felicia, bring her up to speed on this."

"As you wish, Mrs. Fury-Stark." Jarvis obliged.

(Earth-2, Zoom's Lair)

Caitlin Snow was shocked to see her doppelganger right in front of her. "You're…" She inched closer to the cell. "Killer Frost."

Killer Frost walked closer herself, meeting her doppelganger's eyes. "And you're Caitlin Snow. Your little friend, Cisco, wouldn't shut up about you. Made you out to be some kind of a saint." She formed an intrigued smirk. "And I hear you're the one keeping Seth's bed warm at night."

Caitlin blushed at that sudden statement. "Seth told me about you."

"Oh, did he?" The icy metahuman became interested. "What did he say? Did he say who's the better kisser?"

"No… But I know he misses kissing me." Caitlin acted smug.

"Is that so?" Killer Frost pointed to her torso. "So, tell me, why hide the girls?" Caitlin looked down her body and crossed her arms over it. "I mean, you've seen our body, right? Or is it maybe because you like Seth unwrapping you?"

"You really like my boyfriend, don't you?" Caitlin asked.

"Well, he's no Boy Scout that's for sure." Killer Frost admitted with a shrug and a smug smile. "This is making me uncomfortable…"

A rapid tapping behind her made Caitlin snap around and turn to the man in the mask. He kept tapping as he looked at the two of them.

Killer Frost said. "If I could get my powers to work through this carbine wall, the first thing I would do is shut him up!" She shouted at the tapping prisoner.

"Who is he?" Caitlin asked. Her eyes looked at the unconscious mangled and dismembered entertainer. "What happened to him?"

"Don't know, don't care. But if he's here, Zoom must need something from him." Killer Frost admitted. Nodding to the other cell, she continued. "Bliss is down for the count because Zoom had a late night torture appointment with him."

"Why?" Caitlin asked.

"Kicks? Punishment for failing to kill our boyfriend, maybe? Beats me, I lost interest the second he started talking to me." The icy metahuman said quippingly.

""Our boyfriend?"" Caitlin asked. Her doppelganger shrugged uncaringly. She wouldn't get anywhere on that. "So, what does Zoom need you for?"

"That is an excellent question, Caity. You know, I've been asking myself the same thing." Killer Frost said in agreement with her doppelganger. "Thought it was because I helped your gang of weirdo friends, but that doesn't matter now. I'm not gonna stick around much longer."

"Really, this is the worst possible position for me to be in…"

Caitlin turned confused. "Wait, I… I thought you said your powers don't work inside this cell?"

"They don't. You're right." Killer Frost confirmed, pointing a wagging finger at the doctor. "So, you're gonna help me get out of here."

"Why would I help you?" Caitlin inquired.

Scoffing and chuckling at those words, Killer Frost pointed to the exit. "Listen, honey, there's no way you are making it down that cliff all by yourself." Caitlin mulled it over. "So, let's make a deal." She gestured to the glass cage. "You get me out of this box, and I'll help you get home. Might even throw in some wardrobe tips for free. Trust me, they might make that boy of yours stick out his tongue like a dog."

Caitlin… did not say no to that….

"So, what do you say, Caitlin?" Killer Frost asked. "Do we have a deal?"

At that moment… Caitlin's stomach rumbled loudly.

X

(Felicity's Base)

Donning a big black winter jacket with a furry collar and hood, Felicity opened the door and walked into the room adjacent to her office. She was right to choose to wear this jacket as the room itself was like walking into a fast-food restaurant walk-in freezer.

Exhaling Felicity saw her breathe cold white air. The room is empty aside from a single bed to the end of the room. She saw that the bed was completely covered with white icy mist. She feared that any liquid she brought into the room would be instantly frozen.

Walking over to the bed, she waved her hand around and tried to blow the mist away. It was nigh impossible. But she managed to find the bed and take a seat there and took a look at the sleeping beauty exhaling the icy mist.

Killer Frost… Caitlin Snow lies on the bed. Each time she exhaled; cold white mist came out of her mouth. After spending the better part of a month in this state, the entire room was completely white and filled with ice. Icicles hang from the ceiling.

Felicity took a seat on the bed. She pulled some of Caitlin's hair away from her nose, worried she might accidentally inhale a strand and wake up.

When Seth asked her for her help, she was surprised it was to help Caitlin out of a messy situation, with the aid of an old friend of the technopath's. Felicity knew that he has strong feelings for the Caitlin Snow he knows and loves… But to actually go as far as save her much eviler, crueler and villainous doppelganger…

"Seth… You might be one of a kind…" Felicity trailed off when seeing Caitlin's eyes flicker behind her eyelids and her hands clutching the bedsheet. Her fists emanated white smoke and froze the bed sheet lightly. The technopath stroked her forehead calmingly to ease her. "Calm down, Cait… We're gonna help you. I'm here to help you, I promise you that."

It seemed her words worked, and Caitlin calmed down.

"I promise… I'm not gonna lose you again." Felicity said.

X

Seth stands in his full height on the edge of a tall building, looking over Central City of Earth-2, a city that he once protected with every fiber and cell of his body. He bled and sweated to protect this city. It was a strange sensation for him to return to this place after returning home.

"Wow…"

He turned to his side and saw his daughter sit on the edge of the rooftop, her legs dangling off the edge. Seth chuckled at Evelyn's childlike giggles as wind breezed over her face and blew her hair up. Crouching down beside her, he asked. "You like this view, honey?"

"It's weird… Seeing the world like you do, Dad. I mean, I'm used to being on the ground, running away, hiding in plain sight and stealing from people… But this…" She gestured to their current position.

"Yeah, an eagle eye's view is pretty great." Seth admitted.

"Well, it's no Quinjet view." The symbiote stated.

"You hate flying in those things. You constantly bicker about the thrusters flaring too loudly!" He retorted and Venom growled his annoyance.

Evelyn looked longingly towards the Woodlands. "… Think Mom's safe?"

"Course she is honey." The mutant ruffled her hair. "We're gonna get Caitlin back… I promise. Even if it's Zoom and his entire group standing in our way. We're gonna find her… and bring her back." He stood up to his full height and cracked his fists.

Black symbiotic mass slithered out of his body and immediately enveloped his entire body, enlarging into Venom. "Let's go!" Evelyn nodded, placing her eye mask over her eyes again.

But before they could move towards the Woodlands, they heard cars screeching as they drove at full speed not far from them. Turning towards the direction, they saw two cars driving away from two police cars. The two first cars driving frantically are accompanied with red hooded men wielding revolvers.

"Should we help them?" Evelyn realized her words. "We help them, Zoom's gonna find out immediately."

"Doesn't matter." The mutant countered. "Driving like that, those idiots could kill someone." Venom looked at Eclipse. "You wanna go?"

Eclipse made her decision clear when she jumped onto her father's back. She tightened the hold on her bow and retrieved an arrow from her quiver. "Let's go, Venom!"

"Proud of her." Seth admitted to himself. He retrieved his sword from his back and jumped into the air. Tendrils shot out of the back of his hand. After attaching them to the nearest sign, the elemental jumped off the rooftop and swung towards the commotion.

The two police cars saw the large mutant's shadow pass over their vehicles. They were shocked to see him return to their city after so long without seeing him.

Venom ran along the side of an apartment building. Coming close to the cars, Seth leaped off the wall and spun in the air. He took hold of his daughter and threw her to the car to the left. Seeing her land on the trunk of the car, he directed his attention to the second car and slammed his body down on the hood of the vehicle.

Without their seatbelts, the two hooded criminals were yanked forward, their bodies shooting out of the windshield and slammed into the asphalt. The two criminals looked up and saw Venom stepping off the car hood. They raised their revolvers and pointed them at them.

"Really, boys?" Venom questioned them as he raised his sword, pointing the blade at them.

The criminals shared a look. Turning back to the mutant, they dropped their guns and raised their hands defensively. They surrendered.

"Seriously?" Seth asked disappointedly at the sight. He turned his eyes to the car ahead of them, seeing his daughter in action.

X

Eclipse twisted her head from side to side as the criminals aimed their guns at her, trying to get an aim. But the young metahuman kept avoiding them. She leant over to the side, pulling an arrow back on her bowstring.

But before she shot it her eyes saw a school bus in front of them, the large and elongated dark-yellow vehicle filled with young students. It was caught between two smaller cars and couldn't get anywhere.

With that in mind, she focused her attention on the front wheels. Taking aim at the front left wheel she shot the arrow. It flew the short distance, piercing into the tire and air shot out of it. The criminal in the driver seat lost control of the car, driving to the left by accident.

Evelyn looked up and saw that it was closing in on a water hydrant. She disappeared into a smog of darkness and reappeared on the ground, far from the car as it now drove into the hydrant. The front of the car caved in and the lid shot off, water sprouting into the air like a geyser.

The two criminals ran out of their vehicle and faced the young metahuman. They tried to take the triggers on their firearms, but they only clicked without their bullets flying out of the barrels to their surprise. They examined their guns.

Using that moment to her advantage, Evelyn jumped, disappearing into a veil of shadows. The young metahuman appeared behind the criminals. She spun around with an outstretched leg, she swept one of the criminals' legs and sent them down to the ground.

Returning to her feet, she held a sword of light and swung her light weaponry for the other criminal. Her sword cut his firearm in two and it fell to the ground with a clatter. Compressing her sword into a ball of light, she threw the blinding orb into his stomach, shooting him off the ground and into a wall.

She turned her attention to the second criminal who returned to his feet. "Little bitch!"

"You do not want to say that to someone with arrows?" She quipped before shooting two blinding arrows at him, sending him down to the ground with a loud thud. The arrows dug into the shoulder parts of his clothes, pinning him to the ground when he landed on it. "And it's really bad manners!" Evelyn shouted.

"Way to throw in helpful tips, kiddo." Venom chuckled demonically as he walked up to her side. He took in the sight of the destroyed car, the two criminals and the water-sprouting hydrant. "Think we should focus on damage control next time."

"Dad, you've never done damage control before." Evelyn pitched in with a giggle. She giggled again when the mutant stuck out his swirling tongue.

(Earth-1)

Harry shakes his head in frustration, finding himself in a large abandoned arcade with his hands bound together. He gritted his teeth in pain, his head still ringing from the car crash. His wristwatch kept chiming repeatedly, registering the presence of a metahuman.

"Dr. Harrison Wells." A voice got his attention.

"Yup." Harry nodded. "And who are you?"

The man with grey hair in a green tracksuit jacket and blue jeans stepped forward. "Name's Griffin Grey." He introduced himself.

"Griffin Grey?" Harry asked, repeating the name in his head to figure out if he heard that name, if he could remember it from his Earth. When he couldn't, he asked. "Do I know you?"

The man stepped closer, the light no longer shining on him. "Nope. But you should. I'm one of your mistakes." Harry looked up in confusion. "One of your sins coming home to roost."

Harrison connected the dots. "All right, you think I…" He didn't know what to say. "I'm from…" He didn't know what to disclose and what not. But he was fairly certain that involving the topic of parallel universes was off the table. "I'm not- I'm not who you think I am."

"I know exactly who you are." Griffin countered. "And you're gonna fix what your particle accelerator did to me."

Facing the metahuman, Harry inquired. "What did the accelerator do to you?"

Griffin chose to display it for the man who ruined his life. Grabbing a nearby tire plate, the metahuman effortlessly twisted it, breaking it into pieces in front of Harrison's face. He threw the pieces to the ground, clattering upon impact. "That."

Casually nodded to the plate he wrecked; Harry stated. "Well, that's impressive. And all things considered, I don't know that having that kind of strength is the worst thing you could have been given."

"Yeah, that's what I thought at first." Griffin admitted while putting his hands in his pockets. "And it was a lot of fun." He walked closer to the Earth-2 scientist. "Till I learned it did something else to me, too." He pulled out a photo, showing the face of a young teenager to the scientist. "That's me. Last year." He revealed.

Harrison's eyes shifted between the face in the photo before him and Griffin's current face. The sight of that… Made a realization dawn on him. "You're… You're ageing."

"If this keeps happening, I'll be dead in a few months." Griffin shouted.

"How old are you, Griffin?" Harry inquired, still in shock of the side effects of this metahuman's powers.

"I'm 18." His answer shook the Earth-2 scientist with the power of an earthquake. He was not that much older than his daughter.

Harry looked down, scoffing to himself. "Look… I'm sorry this is happening to you." He made eye contact with him again. "But there's nothing I can do to fix it."

"Well, that sucks." Griffin faked hurt. "Cause if you can't figure out a way to help me, Dr. Wells…" He added a nonchalant shrug. "You're gonna die soon, too."

(Earth-2, Woodlands)

Seth and Evelyn walked through the forest of enormously tall trees. He's passed through it many times already, yet he was still amazed by the sight of this forest. "Damn, I never get tired of this place. Might be pretty cool to have a hut out here."

"Sounds like you're already planning your retirement, Dad." Evelyn chuckled.

The mutant ruffled her hair in retaliation, making his daughter laugh and giggle loudly. "Cheeky girl!" Seth stated.

After pushing her father's hand from her head, Evelyn straightened her deep-red hair and looked around. She recognized the place as it's close to the lake where Seth fought King Shark to protect her, Ruby and Jesse. "Feels like a lifetime ago."

Seeing her eyes wander around their surroundings, Seth nodded his agreement. "Yeah, you're right." He nodded to the lake when it came into their field of vision. "Want me to make another bowl?"

"No thanks." Evelyn giggled. "… I still remember what you said back then, Dad. "Powers are like tools; they can serve more than one purpose. More than just superhero-ing and supervillainy."" She recalled the words.

"Yeah… Feels like a lifetime ago." The mutant recited his daughter's words. "Back then you were scared and in fear of the city itself, hunted by the city's finest and shunned by your family and friends… It's not a life you should have had. No kid should."

"I did have that life, Dad…" Evelyn smiled. "And it led me to you and Mom thankfully." Seth laughed as did she. "Plus, pretty cool to be part of a multiversal family."

"Definitely making headlines, for sure." Seth laughed.

The time he spent on this Earth… While it may have been chaotic in every sense of the word, it was amazing and unforgettable because it was an adventure that led him to adopt two amazing children from different universes. And introducing them to his, Frankie and Caitlin's lives… One of the best decisions he's made.

"Well, well, well…"

Both Seth and Evelyn snapped their eyes to the side. Their eyes meet Black Siren's, surprise striking them like a lightning bolt at the familiar sight of the sonic cryer. "Aren't you two the sweetest?"

(Earth-1, S.T.A.R. Labs)

Jesse's eyes are glued to the monitor in front of her, focusing on the image of her father's face. She feared that this might be the only time she would see her father again. "I never should have left."

"No, this isn't your fault." Barry comforted her.

Seated on a table, Felicia added. "Allen's right, roomie, don't blame yourself for this."

"She's right, Whiney. Not the time to use your signature power." Ruby joked.

Looking down at her sister from the ceiling, Frankie stated. "Rubs, you gotta rein it back sometimes."

"She's right, kiddo." Felicia agreed. She looked to Olivia with a fake disappointed look. "Whatever are you letting your brother pour into that poor girl's head."

"Hey, don't blame me, Cat." Olivia stated with her hands up in mock defense.

Felicia sent a narrowed eyed look to the psychic's husband who responded. "Don't look at me, I'm just making toys for them to play with."

Frankie pouted. "You haven't made any for me, Uncle Matt!" She whined.

Olivia looked to her magnekinetic niece. "Honey, you remember you can turn your arm into a huge hammer, right? You're practically a walking arsenal as is. Why ruin that by having your Uncle iron it up with his tech?"

"Hey!" Matt protested and his wife blew him a kiss.

Ruby laughed at their antics. "You two are never gonna change, are you?"

"That's never gonna happen, Rubs." The nanite mutant countered.

"Do we know what took him?" Jesse impatiently asked.

"An old man in a tracksuit." Felicia stated, nodding to the paused footage of the old man. "That's about it, isn't it?"

"No, it is not, dear Felicia." Cisco said, walking to the console railing. "That's where things get interesting." He pointed to the former speedster. "That fingerprint that you guys brought in, the one from the van, I mean." They followed him to another computer.

"Yeah." Barry agreed.

"What about it, Cisco?" Frankie asked after releasing herself from the ceiling and landing on her feet.

"Fun fact: Belongs to this guy." The mechanical engineer pressed a key on the nearest keyboard and showed the young face and profile of Griffin Grey.

"Griffin Grey." Iris read the name on the profile.

"He's a senior at Central City High School?" Olivia asked. At her own words, she looked to her nieces. "You girls saw this kid around at your school?"

"Yeah, he was a pretty popular kid." Frankie nodded.

"Good kid, worked hard, spent most of his free time with his tongue down his girlfriend's throat." Ruby bluntly stated.

Felicia scoffed at her humor. She wondered if this girl wasn't Seth's biological kid because a boatload of signs points to that.

Barry scanned the photo. "No, wait, I've seen this kid's picture before. He went missing, like, six months ago."

"That's right." Cisco nodded.

"But this doesn't make any sense, Cisco." Matt jumped in. "An 18-year-old didn't kidnap Wells. Besides this guy's pint-size."

"So is Wells. No offense, Jesse." The former HYDRA assassin stated to the Earth-2 young woman.

"That's what I thought at first, most of the stuff you said anyway, but feast your eyes on this." Cisco pressed a key, bringing up the face of the elder form of Griffin Grey and compared them. scanning the two photos and finding the common denominators.

When the program finished, the two photos overlapped and… showed that it was a match.

"It's the same guy." The reporter said in surprise.

"Yeah, the blood sample confirms it." The mechanical engineer nodded.

"Any of you brainiacs want to explain how this is possible?" Olivia shifted her eyes between the scientists in the room.

"No idea yet." Cisco said with lowered eyes. "Without Caitlin here, I can't really analyze the cells on a molecular level to see what we're dealing with here."

"Can't Jarvis look at it?" Evelyn suggested.

"Jarvis can link up to tech equipment, sure and check things out. But most of her tools aren't tech-based enough for him to link to them, they're manual." The nanite mutant explained.

"So, we're up a creek?" Olivia groaned loudly.

"Not exactly." Jesse got their attention. "I might actually be able to help."

"How?" Frankie asked confusedly.

"Bio-chem was one of my majors in college." Jesse replied.

"One of your majors?" Barry said. "How many did you have?"

"Five of them." Ruby pitched in. Jesse turned surprised at her statement. "I remember our talks from Earth-2 back in Iris' house."

Jesse saw the looks of pure shock and surprise on the faces of the others. She then asked. "What, is that not common here?"

"Girl, no, that is not common anywhere." Iris chimed in. Barry, Cisco, Matt and Olivia laughed in response.

"Yeah, Whiney's a big-time nerd on Earth-2." Ruby stated bluntly. The Earth-2 girl stuck out her tongue in retaliation.

"All right, but we're clear on what to do now, then." Matt gestured to the photo. "Let's search for that Grey, see what we come up with."

Barry nodded his agreement. "I'll see if facial recognition brings him up and I'll have Joe check CCPD'S database." He moved away.

"Cool." Cisco nodded.

Felicia patted Jesse's shoulder. "Get to it, roomie. See what you can do." Jesse nodded and followed Cisco and Iris. Facing the two mutants, the burglar asked. "What's the plan for us? Sit back and let this meta journey off with Wells?"

"Nope." The nanite mutant shook his head. "With Barry without his speed, he's gonna be a liability in the field now. It's best when we find Griffin, you and the girls handle him."

"Why not join the fun?" Felicia asked with arms crossed over her chest.

"In case of other problems showing up, I'm gonna take care of that. But the three of you?" Matt nodded to her and his nieces. "You're faster. Even if this guy got close enough, he wouldn't get a lick in because you can evade with ease."

"Thanks for that." The burglar liked that he trusted them so much. It was nice.

"Sure thing, Uncle Matt." Frankie nodded and cracked her fists.

"Unc…" Ruby got his attention. "Did… Did Dad say anything before he left?"

Matt shrugged his shoulders. "Just that he's gonna bring your Mom home, Rubs. Have faith in your Dad and your sister, Ruby. They're gonna bring her home."

(Earth-2, Woodlands)

"So, you finally got adopted, huh?" Black Siren said with a chuckle. The evil metahuman gestured to the young girl's new attire with a swirl of her finger. "And you even got a new wardrobe. I approve." She laughed.

"What are you doing here, Laurel?" Seth asked as he slowly moved in front of his daughter, standing before her in a protective manner.

Black Siren reared her head back. "Not much…" She looked back at the mutant. "Just keeping watch and stopping you from getting near Zoom. He doesn't want you to take our pretty little birds."

"Birds?" Evelyn asked in confusion.

"… Caitlin…" Seth sneered in anger, his hold on his sword tightening and flames igniting around his body. "Get out of the way, Laurel."

Evelyn pulled an arrow out of her quiver, pulling back the string and aiming the projectile at the cryer. "Out of our way, now!" Light and darkness emanated from her hands, enveloping her arrow in a shine of the two elements. "We're getting my Mom back… Now!"

"Someone got confident. Proud of you, kid." Laurel faked proudness. "But here's… My response."

She thrusted her head forward and unleashed a sonic scream. The attack rippled, breaking the ground as it traveled towards them. Eclipse's body emanated a mixture of black and white lights before disappearing in a smog of shadows.

Tendrils shot out of his back, shooting out like hooks and latched onto a big tree branch and pulled him off the ground. With that action, Seth dodged the sonic blast and backflipped into the air before landing on the branch. The tendrils retracted, the black mass spread over his entire form.

The symbiote engulfed his head and his red eyes pointed at the evil metahuman. "Get out of our way, Black Siren!" He punctuated the seriousness of his words with flames wrapping around his skeletal extensions.

Laurel chuckled in disbelief before shooting another sonic cry after him. Venom jumped off the branch, shooting out tendrils and swinging through the forestry area. Her sonic cries kept following him, destroying branches and breaking trunks.

Onyx shadows erupted and Eclipse appeared in the air behind the cryer. She released her two arrows and let them fly. Hearing the sound of the bowstring letting go behind her, Laurel cancelled her sonic attack and rolled out of the way. As the arrows pierced into the ground, Evelyn landed and charged the evil metahuman with a sword of light.

Black Siren backflipped, dodging the incoming sword swing. Returning to the ground, she thrusted her head forward and unleashed another sonic scream. This one connected with Evelyn's form and pushed her off her feet.

She screamed her entire short flight in the air as the sonic attack traveled through her entire body. But an array of black tendrils wrapped around her form and pulled her out of the way. Venom retracted the tendrils, placing his daughter on his back.

Seth looked over his shoulder, making eye contact with her. "Are you okay?"

"I'm okay!" Evelyn screamed her answer. Venom reeled back in surprise at her response. "Sorry! My ears hurt!"

"We guessed that." The mutant nodded sheepishly. His attention turned to the evil metahuman who looked back at them with an evil smirk. "We have to defeat her somehow…"

"I can shoot from a distance if you hold her off." Evelyn suggested.

"Will do." Seth instantly said and watched his daughter disappear in shadows. The elemental strengthened the bones in his legs with the earth element before leaping off the branch. Coming close to the cryer, he swung his sword.

Jumping out of the way, Black Siren blasted another sonic attack into the mutant's stomach and blasted him into a tree. Venom pulled out of the tree trunk and charged for her again, lightning enveloping his form to enhance his speed.

Laurel chuckled at his attempts to get her into a close range fight. "Nice try!" She projected another sonic scream.

Seth jumped onto the side of a tree and turned adamantium. Leaping off it and swung his arm like a hammer. Laurel saw his fist come close to her and dodged it by an inch. His metal fist embedded into the ground. Using it like an anchor, the elemental swung both his feet into the metahuman's form.

His strike launched her to the ground. Seth spiraled around, pulling his fist out of the ground and took his sword and jumped after her. Black Siren felt his foot press down on her stomach and pinned her to the grassy surface. Venom sneered. "Stay down!"

Chuckling at his words, Laurel confessed. "Venom, you really are a strange one. I thought you were more than a pretty face…" Seth narrowed his eyes in confusion. "Here's a reminder: I'm your weakness."

The very second the last word of her sentence left her mouth, she unleashed another powerful sonic scream and blasted him off his body. She continued the screech and slammed his body into the ground when he landed back on it. Her scream rippled his body, causing the symbiotic mass around his body.

Seth had to release his sword and screamed in immense pain. He writhed in agony on the grassy ground, the symbiotic mass trying to separate from his body. The elemental turned his head, pointing a single blue eye at the sonic cryer.

Evelyn didn't know what to do from afar. Her shaking hands releasing both arrow and bow, letting them fall to the grassy ground. Images from her past returned to her mind as she saw her father being tormented by the sonic screech.

The images that returned… was the visions of her father and mother being killed by Zoom's hands… right in front of her. She remembered Killer Frost standing in her household, carelessly dropping memorable photos to the ground and watching them shattering without a care in the world and laughing at the shattered pieces. But those moments of enjoyment…

… ended…

The very moment Zoom thrusted both his hands through Evelyn's parents' chests and killed them before the young metahuman's eyes. And that horror returned to her again, but unlike before… It's now showing her new father being tormented by a hellish screech.

Just like when she lost her birth parents, she was paralyzed and petrified to even move now and save her father…

But she couldn't… She couldn't let history repeat itself.

"STOP IT!" She shrieked, garnering the evil metahuman's attention who stopped her attack on the mutant before Evelyn thrusted her arms to the sides. Light discharged from her body like a flashbang, erupting like a geyser into the air and mixed with pitch-black darkness.

Black Siren was shocked at the sight of the pillar of both light and darkness emanating from her body. The black light split into strands, condensing and forming into an array of darkened luminous sharp arrows over the young metahuman…

All of them pointing at her…

"What the hell…" Laurel said, staggering back in shock and surprise of those sharp projectiles of light and darkness. But a third feeling revealed itself: Fear.

Eclipse pointed her enraged eyes at the evil metahuman, her markings on her face releasing more light and darkness. "Leave… My Dad… Alone!" She roared and in response the arrows over her head launched. Each one of them traveled through the air with blinding speed and tremendous force, paving through the open air.

"Oh shit!" Laurel ran away from the arrows. She jumped into a roll, bringing herself into a crouch position and thrusted her head outwards again. Her mouth opening and unleashing another sonic screech. Like the array of arrows, her sonic cry traveled through the air.

Upon collision, the cry redirected some of the arrows, sending them in different directions. But one single arrow didn't meet her sonic attack and flew towards the sonic cryer. Laurel looked up-

PIERCE

"AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!" Black Siren screamed when the arrow slashed her shoulder, opening up a hole in the clothed area and blood immediately oozed out of the open wound. She threw her eyes backwards and saw that the arrow shot into the ground, completely burning and charring the area of impact. Her eyes travelled to the other areas around her and saw that the arrows she diverted before charred their areas of impact as well. "Holy crap…" she said baffled.

The black symbiote slithered back into Seth's body and he twisted and turned his head before peering at their surroundings. "Shit, Evie…" He muttered in shock.

He and Caitlin might wanna talk about cutting back on their talks of reprimanding Evelyn for her kleptomaniac habits. Otherwise, their home might just be riddled with arrow holes.

"Heard of parents overthinking and becoming paranoid before… Never thought you'd be one of them." Seth heard his partner admit.

"You're annoying." Seth replied out loud.

"Brothers are supposed to be that." The symbiote bluntly replied.

"I don't get paid enough for this." Black Siren admitted with a sigh before pointing an open mouth downwards at her feet, a smaller version of her sonic cry emitted from her mouth and hit the ground under her feet.

Seth and his daughter watched as the cryer's attack on the ground under her blew up a dust screen and completely covered and cloaked her form. Snatching his sword, the mutant hurled his crystal sword after the smoke screen.

He hoped it would collide with the cryer, but his sword flew into the middle of the smoke and blew it away. "Zoom's goons and their Houdini acts." He rubbed his head.

Seth really hoped Caitlin was faring better than him.

(Zoom's Lair)

"Tick-tock. Tick-tock. Tick-tock." Killer Frost impatiently recited in her cell.

Caitlin plugged a cable to the nearest generator. "I'm going as fast as I can." She took the other end of the cable and attached it to the glass.

"Might have gone faster if you didn't keep walking off to eat those fries and that burger." Killer Frost sniped.

Ever since her doppelganger began to work on a solution to get her out of this cell, Killer Frost noticed her walk to the bed, eat the fries, and shove huge chunks of the burger into her mouth. It was strange to see someone with her own face eat like a released prison inmate.

"Not that this is my real face." The Earth-2 metahuman mentally replied to themselves.

"I was…" Caitlin trailed off; she didn't know where she'd go with that sentence.

"Zoom will be back any minute." The metahuman reminded the doppelganger.

Unfurling the cable, Caitlin walked towards the cell and countered. "I could just leave you in there, you know." Her ears perked up at the sound of Nathan Bliss groaning and grunting in his unconscious state behind her.

"Aww…" Killer Frost cooed with a fake pout. "But you want to go home so badly. Go back to that handsome boyfriend of yours…" She trailed off purposely.

Caitlin rolled her eyes. Hearing the grunts and groans behind her, she looked at Nathan Bliss. "He's in pain."

"Big surprise." Killer Frost sarcastically said.

"You really don't care about him?" Caitlin asked her doppelganger. "He's in the same situation as you, a prisoner to Zoom."

"You heard everything from Seth, right? About his powers." Killer Frost asked.

"Most of it, yeah." Caitlin nodded.

"Well then that guy showed me a not so nice image a long time ago. Seeing him in pain… Is nice." The frosty metahuman smirked.

As she took the cables and attached them to the glass door, Caitlin looked up and down her doppelganger's form. "So how did this happen to you?"

"This is gonna be hard…" The metahuman mentally admitted to themselves.

Killer Frost walked around in the cell before revealing. "Woke up one day, cold, pale. Thought I was sick." The metahuman got the doppelganger's full attention as she emanated cold icy mist from her left hand. "Turns out it was something else entirely."

Watching the mist swirl around her doppelganger's hand, Caitlin asked. "You got hit by the dark matter from the particle accelerator explosion?"

"Yes." Killer Frost answered.

"Right after I flunked out of med school." Killer Frost replied. Quickly getting the information from the real metahuman, she continued. "Had to move back in with my mother."

Caitlin attached the cable to the other side of the glass. "That couldn't have been fun. If she's anything like mine, I mean." She added.

"Why?" Killer Frost asked. "Is yours a frigid narcissist too?"

"Cold as ice." Caitlin admitted.

"Yeah." Killer Frost formed a saddened expression. "Mom was like that ever since Charlie died."

"Who's Charlie?" The doctor inquired.

"Guess Seth didn't tell you everything, huh? Charlie's my brother." Killer Frost revealed.

"I never had a brother." Caitlin confessed.

"No?" Killer Frost was shocked at the prospect to live a life as a single child. "Then why was Mom such a bitch on your Earth?"

Twisting and turning her head, Caitlin unsurely responded. "Honestly, I couldn't say."

Killer Frost turned intrigued and returned to the important matter at hand. "So…" She pointed to the cables attached to the glass. "How is this going to get me out of here?"

The doctor from Earth-1 explained. "The electrical current in the cable should heat up the carbine, which in turn should speed up the electrons and the faster they go…"

"The weaker its molecular structure becomes." Killer Frost caught on.

"Exactly." Caitlin was shocked that a med school dropout realized that.

Seeing the shock and surprise on her face, Killer Frost admitted. "I studied every once in a while."

"Well, when it gets hot enough, it should make the carbine as fragile as glass." Caitlin hopefully announced.

"And then we can both get out of here." Killer Frost said with a smirk.

But that smirk was merely for show… as only one of them would walk out of this place.

X

(Earth-1, Ace Chemical)

Iron Knight walked into the darkened facility of Ace Chemical with Black Cat and Detective Joe West. Facial recognition picked up Griffin Grey breaking into the facility. The three of them decided to handle this. Barry and Cisco remained in a S.T.A.R. Labs van.

The nanite mutant and the burglar remain skeptic about bringing the former speedster along as he is now without his speed. But Barry convinced them to bring him along. He brought Harry's energy rifle in case he was roped into a fight.

"Sure, it was a good idea bringing Barry into this, Iron Junior?" Felicia asked the nanite mutant.

Matt groaned at the nickname. "He's a stubborn bastard, he would have sneaked into the van if we said no."

"Would have been better if we brought Rose or Ruby with us." Felicia admitted.

Agreeing with a nod, Matt said. "They're busy in Central City. Heard there was a car chase close to them and they decided to take care of it."

"How things are so, so small on this Earth, compared to what happens on a daily basis on our Earth." Felicia stated.

Hearing her tone, Matt asked. "You miss Earth-616?" He and Joe looked down a row to check if Griffin was close by.

They didn't find him and continued down the row. Felicia replied. "Maybe, maybe not. It's kind of weird without the usual trouble we get into."

"Kind of refreshing in my book." Matt admitted.

Despite their situation, Joe listened to their conversation and chimed in. "So, what your world deals with citywide disasters every single week."

"Try every day." Felicia shot out a hook and pulled herself to a higher vantage point.

Without the burglar close to them, Joe tapped the nanite mutant with his elbow. "Is she… Homesick?"

"You noticed the same?" Joe nodded to Matt's inquiry. "Yeah, think she's used to more action and is becoming… too laxed maybe."

"You're saying what's going on here isn't up to your standards?" Joe humored. "I hope we don't get any more visits from your Earth, man. No offense." Carnage and Felicia and the mutants are the only people their city can handle. Anymore, Central City might turn into Star City.

Joe shook his head. "But… Why not have her go home or something?"

"Frankie and Caitlin would miss her, and Seth would like to say goodbye of course too." The mutant stated. "But for now… It's good she's here."

"Amen." The detective nodded.

"Psst!" The two males looked up to the top of the tall storage shelf and saw Black Cat wave them over. Nanites formed Matt's helmet and covered his head and Joe silently cocked his firearm. The nanite mutant jumped into the air and hovered with thrusters emitting a low output of energy.

They followed the burglar's directions and followed her eyesight and saw Griffin Grey effortlessly tear off a metal container lid.

Joe raised his firearm. "Griffin Grey, CCPD! Stay right there."

Despite the gun pointed at him, Felicia noticed from above that the metahuman wasn't even flinching at the firearms aimed at him. Not even Iron Knight's weaponry didn't alarm him. "What is going on here?"

"The man you kidnapped, Harrison Wells, release him now!" Matt demanded.

Griffin faced them. "I can't do that. Not yet."

"Then we'll have to do this the hard way." Joe said as he placed his finger over the trigger and Matt's repulsors shined with energy.

"I guess so." Griffin agreed. The strong metahuman grabbed hold of a chemical container from the side and flung it at them. Joe pulled the trigger and shot the container. The bullet met the container and exploded above their heads.

Matt jumped in front of the detective and formed a shield to cover them both from the explosion. "Great, Grey's got superstrength."

"Why am I not surprised?" Joe said from behind the shield. Griffin threw another container after them. Matt saw it appear over their heads and thrusted his shield upwards, pushing the chemical container away from them. "How the hell?"

"And he's got accuracy." The mutant added. He connected with the cat burglar's earpiece and spoke. "Cat, can you keep him distracted for a hot sec."

"Leave it to me, Junior." Black Cat assured them with a nod from her position. She leaped off the tall shelf.

"I can do this all night." Griffin bragged as he lifted another barrel.

Black Cat landed behind the metahuman and shot a hook, piercing into his sleeve. "Sorry Griffy boy, but we can't have that now." She pulled on the hook, forcing him to release the barrel in his hand.

"Stay out of this lady!" Griffin screamed.

"Can't, honey." Black Cat shook her head.

Matt jumped into the air, flying towards the evil metahuman. "We just want Wells, Griffin. Just let him go."

Griffin glared at him. "Not until I'm done with him!" He turned his attention back to Felicia and took hold of her grappling hook. Tightening his hold on it, he pulled her over his head and threw her at Matt.

Iron Knight quickly grabbed the burglar and lowered her. "You okay?"

"Fine so far." Felicia said.

Matt formed a long energy sword when he saw the evil metahuman throw another barrel after them. While Felicia jumped away, Iron Knight jumped towards it and cut the barrel in two. He was happy that it wasn't a combustible compound this time.

Griffin took hold of another barrel, holding it over his head and walked towards the two of them.

But surprise hit them all when Barry Allen revealed himself with Harry's energy rifle and aimed it at the evil metahuman. He pulled the trigger, projecting an energy blast. But Griffin dodged the energy attack with a sidestep.

Barry was surprised to see that his attack was dodged but it quickly faded and was replaced with pain when the barrel Griffin held was thrown into him. His body was sent into a pile of cardboard boxes, going through it and landed on the ground.

"Too slow." Griffin said. He didn't know much those words hurt the former speedster.

But Matt and Felicia noticed something happening to Griffin's face after hurling the barrel. His face suddenly gained more wrinkles and his hair turned almost completely grey.

Griffin grabbed hold of a forklift and lifted it over his head, several grunts escaping his mouth. He locked eyes with the armored mutant and threw it at them.

"Junior!" Felicia shouted.

Matt crossed his arms over his chest, converging energy into his arc reactor before uncrossing them and projected a concentrated repulsor beam. His energy attack destroyed the forklift immediately.

But alas, Griffin Grey used it as a distraction to disappear.

"Fucking hell…" Matt clenched his fists in anger.

"Calm down, metalhead." The burglar patted his back. "Let's check on Powerless Flash."

"Yeah, but what the hell is that idiot doing here?" Matt inquired as he and the burglar walked to the downed CSI scientist.

"Barry!" Joe rushed to his adoptive son's side.

"Hey." Barry grunted his response. "Oh, I think I need some medical attention."

"Then you're gonna have more than enough time to explain yourself and your stupidity." Matt bluntly stated.

X

(S.T.A.R. Labs.)

"Ow!" Barry groaned as Iris applied the bandage around his torso with her incredibly cold hands. He hissed through gritted teeth. "Your hands are really cold." He complained to Iris.

"Sorry." The reporter expressed.

"Quit whining, you big baby." Olivia slapped the back of the former speedster's head.

"Ow! That's not any better." The CSI scientist further complained.

"Want to know what's definitely not better? You going against the plan and showing up at Ace Chemical and trying to attack Griffin, without powers." Matt added.

"Sorry, guys." Barry apologized while Iris finished applying the bandage around his torso. They moved into the Cortex with Joe, Cisco, Jesse, Ruby and Frankie.

Having completed her analysis of the DNA from the previous crime scene, Jesse revealed her findings. "So, his genes have actually mutated."

"English, roomie." Felicia asked her politely.

"I ran the DNA from the blood sample Barry found, and the functional myostatin in his cells is essentially gone." Jesse remembered Felicia's words. "I mean, giving him superstrength." She simplified.

"Well, he's not the only one with superstrength, right Rose?" Felicia sent a look to Frankie.

Frankie smirked, cracking her fists challengingly. "Oh yeah, let me at him, and I can take care of him."

"Let me at him! I'm gonna tear his head off!" Magenta viciously said.

"Don't hog all the fun for yourself, sis." Ruby playfully pushed the magnekinetic.

Barry sighed. "Guys, there's something else. Me, Matt and Felicia… We saw him age. Right in front of us."

"Seriously?" Olivia directed to her husband who responded with a nod. "How's that a thing?"

"He's suffering from oxidated stress." Jesse answered. Joe, Olivia, Ruby and Felicia gave her a questioning look. "It means the protein in the DNA in his body are being ravaged by oxidants."

"So, what, he needs to up his blueberry intake?" Joe humored.

Jesse chuckled. "No, it means... The more he exerts himself, the faster he ages."

"So, he's gonna kick the bucket soon enough." Frankie deduced and Jesse nodded.

"So, if we can get him to exert too much energy…" Ruby stated.

Iris continued. "Then he'll become old and weak."

"And how do you think we're gonna do that?" Joe asked. With a gesture to his adoptive son, he stated. "I can't watch you be a human punching bag until he turns into Grandpa Simpson."

"He's not gonna be there." Matt stated immediately determinedly. Barry looked to the nanite mutant who responded. "Barry, you cannot help us out there. We lost Grey because you showed up and decided to help. I know you want to help us out there, Barry, I know that. But if you show out there again, you're gonna stand in our way."

"You think I'll be a liability?" The former speedster inquired.

"I know you'll be." The nanite mutant stated.

Olivia followed her husband's thoughts, turning her eyes to her nieces. "Which is why it's better for Magenta and Destroyer to show themselves and fight Grey."

"Sounds like a plan, the two of them do have superhuman strength like Grey." Felicia agreed.

"Exactly, they have the advantage." Matt looked to Barry. "And that means Barry, you're staying behind and letting us handle it. And don't think of going rogue, we can stop you with ease."

"Fine." Barry said. But the nanite mutant narrowed his eyes skeptically. "Fine, I'll stay behind. I promise."

"Good." Matt said and walked out of the Cortex. His wife followed him, wanting to check on him. Joe, Cisco and Jesse walked towards the workshop in the facility.

Felicia looked to the two girls. "Heard you two took care of a car chase. Not bad." The girls smiled. "Wanna go out for a bit?" They nodded their agreement. With athletic ease, she jumped up and flipped out of the skylight. Frankie's clothes shifted into her symbiotic form before wrapping a tendril around her sister's form and jumped out of the skylight.

Iris looked to Barry who longingly features his Flash suit. She walked over to him. "You okay?"

"No, not really." Barry confessed.

"Matt doesn't want you to be hurt, you know. That's why he said that about you being a liability." Iris tried to comfort him.

He shook his head. "I know… But…" He humorlessly chuckled. "You know, you were the first person I saved after I got my powers?" Iris turned surprised at his words and Barry explained. "We were out on a walk and we were talking about Eddie and how you were with him and I was thinking to myself how I missed a lot while I was in that coma. And then all of a sudden, those cars came at us. And it was like the world froze. Like… You and I were the only two people in the world I didn't even know what I could do yet, but I knew that I could save you. And I did. And now… I don't know." He rubbed the bandage under his sweater. "I don't… I just don't even know who I am anymore or who I'm supposed to be."

Iris faced him caringly. "Barry, you're supposed to be the same guy that you've always been." He looked skeptical. "Suit or no suit… That guy is a hero."

"How can I be a hero… Now that the others have benched me?" Barry asked.

"Those of us who sit behind that thing?" She nodded to the console. "They're heroes too, without being in the field, you know. Try it out… then you'll see the same."

Barry loved that Iris is there for him now, especially as he's without his speed now.

(Earth-2, Woodlands)

Seth was still in awe, completely awestruck by the charred and damaged surroundings. He looked around again and again and again as though his mind struggled to fathom that his daughter was able to conjure up such destruction.

"Why are you so surprised still?" Venom asked as his host took in the damaged ground under him.

"My little girl can do this… I'm shell-shocked." Seth replied to his "other."

Evelyn picked up her bow before walking to her father's side. "Dad?" She got his attention and saw his wide smile. "What's with the smile, Dad?"

"You're seriously asking that, honey?" Seth gestured to the aftermath of her arrow storm. "I am in awe from this sight alone, from what you can do." He narrowed his eyes in confusion. Facing her he asked. "You… You could always do this?"

"Not exactly…" She shook her head. "I… I did this once when my parents were killed by Zoom. This is why my old house was destroyed…" With a heavy heart, Evelyn confessed. "When… When I saw Black Siren hurt you before… I saw Zoom kill my parents before again… I didn't like that."

"Which is why this happened." Seth realized with another look to their surroundings. "I'm sorry you had to see that again, honey."

"Not your fault, Dad." The young metahuman said.

The mutant countered. "I'm your father, Evie. I'm supposed to help you with any issue you might have." He sighed heavily. "Can't believe you never told me or your mother about this side of your life, honey."

"Too much pain, Dad, sorry." She looked around in thought. "Think the others back home miss us?"

"Course they do, Evelyn." Seth assured his daughter. "Probably surprised by you disappearing and only leaving a note behind." He looked over the small lake before their eyes. "… Meeting you and your sister… Without a doubt the best thing that came out of this Earth-2 debacle."

"You adopting us, Dad… That was the best thing for us." The young metahuman smiled.

Seth wrapped an arm around his daughter's form and pulled her close. "Love you, baby." He said with a kiss on her head. Evelyn smiled and wrapped her arms around her father's form. "I promise we're gonna get your Mom back and get home again."

"I know, Dad… But what about that masked prisoner from before?" Evelyn remembered the other prisoner in Zoom's prison.

"Asked that guy twice if he was ready to get out… but he said no." Seth replied.

"He spoke?" Evelyn stated her question in confusion.

"In his own way, at least, yeah." Seth sheepishly replied. Looking far in the distance, he locked onto Ascension Cliffs with a longing look. It was far from them still, but within eyesight at least.

And as he could see that now… it meant that Caitlin was within eyesight.

(Zoom's Lair)

"AARRGGHH!" Nathan Bliss screamed awake in his cell.

Caitlin turned to him in a startle. "Are you okay?" She expressed her concerns.

"You care about that guy? Really?" Killer Frost asked while checking her nails.

"I'm a doctor, I care about everyone." Caitlin told her callous doppelganger.

Mr. Bliss panted and heaved heavily. Once calming down, he looked up to see the two identical faces looking back at him. "Who are you?" He directed to Caitlin.

"I'm Caitlin Snow… Um…" She unsurely pointed to her evil doppelganger. "I'm Killer Frost's-"

"Doppelganger, correct?" Nathan interrupted her.

"Yes." Caitlin nodded her confirmation.

"That explains the similarities." Nathan narrowed his singular eye on the doctor and her icy doppelganger. "And also the differences in personalities."

"What do you mean?" Caitlin asked in confusion.

"Your counterpart finds my…" He gestured to his current condition. "Predicament amusing and often spends the time laughing at my pain." As her Earth-2 doppelganger laughed at his pain again, Nathan pointed to Caitlin and added. "Whereas you… Express concern for my condition. Which is funny, seeing as we're all prisoners in here."

"Not for long, One-Armed Willy." Killer Frost childishly sang. "Right Caity?" She gestured to the cables attached to the glass wall.

Nodding her confirmation, Caitlin stated. "Stay away from the wall."

Killer Frost smiled. "Let's give it a whirl." She stepped backwards, walking away from the wall.

"Hope this works… Then I can get out of this form…"

The Earth-1 doctor walked over to the generator to which the cables are attached to the glass. She took hold of the lever and pulled it down. Static electricity sparked over the glass wall, heating it up and caused the glass to vibrate. It stopped vibrating after a few short moments.

Going through with her plan, Caitlin now took hold of the nearby hammer. Returning to the glass wall, the doctor shared a final look with her doppelganger who gave a nod of confirmation. Nodding back, she swung the hammer.

SHATTER

The carbine glass wall easily shattered upon impact.

The two Caitlins shared a look of surprise.

"Well…" Killer Frost said as her doppelganger dropped the hammer. "Looks like you have a little badass in you, after all." She walked out of the cell.

"Certainly impressive, Dr. Snow." Nathan admitted.

"Thanks, I guess." Caitlin sheepishly answered after getting praised by the two evil metahumans of this Earth.

Behind her the man in the iron mask began another commotion, banging away on the glass wall. Caitlin turned her attention to that man. "What are we gonna do about this guy?"

"Oh, Caity. I don't think he's ever going home." "Killer Frost" turned to Caitlin. "But you are." Rushing to her, the metahuman grabbed hold of her wrist.

"What are you doing?!" Caitlin shouted when her doppelganger abruptly tightened her hold on her wrist.

"Killer Frost" tried to use their ability… But it didn't work. "What the hell?" They asked in confusion.

Caitlin yanked her hand out of her doppelganger's hand. "What are you doing? We had a deal!"

"… This… This wasn't supposed to happen. My powers should have worked." The metahuman asked in confusion, his eyes looking down at his hands. "Why don't they work?"

His powers have never failed him before.

"What are you doing?" Caitlin stepped away from the icy metahuman. "Did you lie?!"

"You really shouldn't trust people like that, honey. Especially strangers." The metahuman told her. "But no… My powers always work on a person. But they don't." "Killer Frost" looked the doctor up and down in shock. "But not on you… Why?"

"What are you talking about?" Caitlin asked.

"Caitlin, I'm not Killer Frost." The metahuman revealed. But Caitlin remained skeptical at the words directed to her. "I'm someone else…"

"Who?" Caitlin stepped back.

"I'm-"

WHOOSH

But the metahuman's words were cut short when time slowed to a crawl. A menacing black speedster sped into his lair. Zoom phased through Caitlin and ran towards Killer Frost, or who he thought was Killer Frost, and grabbed her by the throat.

Zoom lifted her up in the air… before driving his lightning-cloaked claws into her stomach.

Caitlin covered her mouth in fear at the sight of her… of that metahuman being impaled by Zoom's thunderous claws.

"You…" Zoom started in a sneer. "Served your purpose." He released the metahuman, dropping his form to the ground. He turned around, facing Caitlin and nodded to the man in the mask after taking off his cowl. "Try that with him… He dies, too."

Caitlin was in fear… petrifying fear.

What she didn't see was that the dead metahuman's eyes rolled into the back of his head.

(Felicity's Base)

GASP

Killer Frost awoke with a startle and sweat pouring down her face. "What's going on?" She asked herself when she looked around and found herself in totally different surroundings than before.

"Cait, calm down!" Felicity made her presence known as she took a seat on the bed.

"Felicity?" Killer Frost inquired in surprise at the technopath. She looked around and saw that she was in a not-at-all-comfy bed. "Where am I?"

"In my base." She responded.

"But how? I was just in Zoom's prison…. And… He killed me." Killer Frost paled in horrific realization. She looked down at torso. Having lived through a horrific event like that, she expected to find an open wound in her guts. Blood everywhere and her lungs struggling to breath. She expected her heart to fail listening to her body's automatic functions and struggle to pump blood to the rest of her body.

But instead of any of those scenarios, she found that her body was completely… unscathed.

"What? How am I alive? I was just attacked." She rapidly asked.

"That's a long story… But short version: what you saw was real, but it wasn't you." Felicity stated and Killer Frost was even more confused. "You… You weren't there, but everything you saw while you were sleeping, was true… Because a friend of mine took your place."

"What? Then your friend's dead right now." Killer Frost stated.

"No, he's not." Felicity confidently said. "That's a much, much longer story."

The icy metahuman audibly groaned at her old friend's vagueness. "You haven't changed at all, have you?" Felicity chuckled. Another question popped into her mind. "Wait, why did you even save me?"

"Thank your boyfriend." The technopath answered with a cheeky smirk.

"Ronnie's dead." Caitlin reminded her sourly with a saddened expression.

"Not him, Seth." Felicity clarified.

"What?" Killer Frost asked.

Question marks practically appeared over her head, almost falling down and sticking to her face. She didn't see any reason for the elemental mutant to save her. She wasn't his Caitlin… And yet he decided to save her with the aid of someone on Felicity's team.

(Earth-1, CC Jitters)

"Thanks." Felicia thanked the barista when she was handed her three orders. Leaving a nice generous tip, the burglar walked over to the table and placed the three "Venom" drinks on the table. "Here you go, kids."

"Thanks, Felicia." Frankie expressed as she took the cup. Her sister nodded her thanks and took her own cup. "But why have us go out and drink coffee while Wells is still kidnapped."

"You need to learn to pace yourself, Rose." Felicia leant back in her chair and crossed her legs. "The others are figuring out how to search for Wells, and the two of you need to be ready and alert."

"And nothing says alert more than a cup of CC Jitters' coffee, right?" Ruby quipped behind the rim of her cup. Felicia laughed at the former assassin's words. A question slithered to the forefront of her mind before asking the burglar. "How'd Dad rope you into babysitting Jesse when she disappeared?"

"Well, your old man asked me to keep an eye on her. Jesse caught wind of me and tried to skip town. But I showed up and broke a truce, we moved into a place together and we kept an eye on each other." The cat burglar replied. "After that it was easy-peasy, smooth sailing with drinks and first-class chocolate."

Frankie formed a mock pout. "Well thanks for the invite."

"Sorry, Rose. Next time, pinky swear." Felicia wiggled her pinky finger.

"Yeah, selfish burglar takes all the good stuff for herself." Magenta whined.

At that moment Frankie couldn't help but think that her "other" sounds a lot like a junkie.

"Who're you calling a junkie?" Magenta mentally sent a threatening look. "I can still eat your liver, you know. It's juicy…"

Frankie shivered at the thought of her partner eating her organs. "You'll get a nice fat chocolate doughnut if you don't do that."

"You got yourself a deal, partner." Magenta giggled.

Ruby's phone chimed and she took it out of her pocket. She saw the message on the home screen. "Looks like they need us back at S.T.A.R. Labs." She announced to her sister and the burglar.

X

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

Matt looked up and asked the AI. "Jarvis, how'd facial recognition go? You got anything?"

"Unfortunately, facial recognition did not find Mr. Grey, sir." Jarvis responded.

"So, we got bupkis?" Olivia groaned. Her nieces and the cat burglar returned to the facility a moment later. She greeted them with a nod. "Hey you guys."

"Hi." Frankie nodded. "You found a way to track Wells?"

"No, not yet." Iris answered.

"What about that cellular dead zone thing Wells used to find Jesse?" Ruby inquired the team.

Cisco, from the console, replied. "The only cellular dead zone I can find is the one in here." He looked to Jesse. "No offense."

Jesse was in deep thought. Realization hit her and she asked. "No, wait a second, was he wearing his watch when he left to get me?"

"Already tried that. GPS isn't working." The mechanical engineer answered.

"Okay, no," Jesse pushed him away from the computer and took his place. "but the metahuman activity would be. I mean, the watch is designed to track metas, right? And since Griffin Grey is one, it'll keep sending a message to a server till it goes through." She began searching for the device.

"Would that work on this Earth?" Felicia asked.

"No, it wouldn't." Matt shook his head. "We're on a different Earth, it'll never go through."

Iris deduced. "So, it just keeps sending the same signal."

"Exactly." Jesse stated. The computer found the location of the watch.

"There he is, Central City Amusement Park." Cisco smiled.

"Yeah, and I'm coming with this time." Jesse adamantly said.

"Okay, so what's the plan? We sic Frankie and Ruby after him like attack dogs?" Iris wondered.

"Best plan we got. Besides, they got the agility, and in place like an amusement park, they got a higher level of mobility than the rest of us." The nanite mutant added. "Things take the wrong turn; Cat and I will be ready and jump in."

"Wrong turn?" Iris fearfully asked.

Cisco responded, uncomfortably. "Wrong turn may or may not entail the number of punches the girls take. Like too many, they'll be like a pinata." The entire team faced him with incredulous looks. "Only it won't be candy coming out of them… It'll be-"

"Us/Us." The sisters said at the same time.

"Yeah… You guys." Cisco answered.

"Don't worry." Frankie cracked her fists. "He's not gonna get that chance."

"We're gonna nail his ass." Ruby twisted her neck with a smile.

Felicia looked to the girls. "Don't eat him." She directed specifically to the symbiote-bearer who stuck out her tongue in retaliation.

X

(Central City Amusement Park)

Pink tendrils attached to the roller coaster tracks before the magnekinetic pulled on them and spiraled around it till she stood on the tracks themselves. She looked around the place from her current point. "Crazy place."

"No kidding." Joe agreed as he and Ruby walked through the abandoned and darkened amusement park. "But definitely… Definitely creepy."

"Why is it that bad guys always insist on having the creepiest hideouts?" Cisco asked them through their earpieces.

"Cause they're crazy." The former HYDRA assassin stated. She saw a dusty old Ring Toss booth to the left. Amusingly she pulled her Chakram Ring off her back and pointed it at the booth.

Joe saw her action and stopped her. "Ruby, no."

"Fine Uncle Joe." She accepted with a roll of her eyes and followed the detective. Turning around, she connected to her sister's earpiece and walked backwards. "Frankie, try getting to a higher vantage point. The higher you are, the better it's gonna be for us."

"Copy." Frankie jumped into the air, shooting out a tendril and swung towards the highest place she could find. Swinging around the roller coaster, she locked her eyes onto the highest spot of it and landed on it. From her new and higher position, she looked down in search of Griffin. "New position, not getting any better, though."

"Be patient." Destroyer stated.

"Guys." Iris spoke to the three of them. "Grey's headed your way."

"Remember guys, things get hairy, Cat and I will jump in." The nanite mutant informed his nieces and the detective.

"Give the girls a break, Matty. They'll be able to handle him with ease." Olivia stated.

"Yeah… I believe them." Joe nodded before taking shelter. "Frankie, Rubs, remember, the moment he comes close enough, light turns on-"

"And we bring the pain." Ruby used her gravity powers to lift herself off the ground. Taking place on top of a ticket booth, she crouched down to blend in with the shadows.

"He's closing in…" Magenta stated when she noticed Griffin coming into her field of vision.

"Three…." Cisco began the countdown from the van. "Two… Now!" From the van, he pressed a key.

Immediately every single light source, be it lamps or decorative lights, they all turned on and brought immense light to the amusement park. Griffin groaned and covered his eyes when the light hit his eyes.

Magenta's mouth opened up and her tongue slithered out, swiping the air. "Time to work!" She jumped off the tracks and swung around a nearby pillar with a tendril attached to it. Both of her feet lashed out before she swung lower, aiming for the evil metahuman.

Griffin was too late to see the young metahuman swing kick him to the ground. Retracting the tendril to her body, Magenta spiraled in the air before landing on the ground. "That's all you got, He-Man? Bit disappointing."

Getting back to his feet in anger, Griffin countered. "Barely felt that one, Magenta. That all you got?"

"You don't wanna see…" She morphed her hands into spiked maces. "All we got."

"Trust me, I do." The evil metahuman charged the other metahuman with a clenched fist.

Leaning backwards, Magenta dodged his fist before thrusting her right handed mace upwards and into Griffin's stomach and pushed him back. The younger metahuman charged him and repeatedly slammed her maces into his body swiftly, pushing him back further.

The magnekinetic glared at the other metahuman holding his torso in pain. "Give us Wells, that's all we want."

"And I wanted him to fix me." Griffin countered. "But he can't. So, once I finish you, I'm gonna finish him."

"I'd like to see you try." Magenta challenged.

"Freeze!" The detective demanded, garnering the evil metahuman's attention with his firearm pointed at him.

The evil metahuman turned an eye to Joe and saw him. While turning his eye, he saw the toy car to the side. Quickly grabbing hold of it, Griffin used it as a shield and had it pointing at the detective who opened fire. His bullets connected with the makeshift shield. But it was quickly used as a projectile when it was thrown towards him.

But it didn't come close to the detective as Ruby landed before the detective and used her gravity powers to stop the toy car. Making it float higher, Destroyer locked eyes with Griffin Grey while she pointed at the toy car. "I think this is yours." She hurled the car back at him.

Griffin punched the car into pieces, it's metallic pieces scattering to the sides.

"Thanks, kid." Joe expressed.

She and Joe saw Griffin's face age once more, more wrinkles forming and his skin falling.

Destroyer looked at his saggy face. "Griffin stop this. You know you don't have to do this."

"Only path left for me, Destroyer." Griffin clenched his hands. "It's the path that Wells paved for me. He did this to me… I can't go back."

"You're not defined by what he's done." Destroyer walked forward. "You can stop now… And don't make a mistake by killing a man."

"You're speaking highly for a man who doesn't take accountability for his actions. Why are you doing that?" Griffin asked. He didn't wait for an answer and ran the other way, chasing the magnekinetic who jumped across the place.

The lights turned off.

X

As he hovered above the amusement park in his armor, Matt narrowed his eyes on his niece who tried to change the evil metahuman's mind. "Ruby…" He trailed off in surprise of his niece's actions.

"What is she doing?" Cisco asked him.

"She's trying to help him." Felicia announced from beside the mutant's placement on a pillar.

"Why? One more punch, and we get this guy a walker." Cisco replied.

Matt decided to be a little tough with them. "Cisco, do you guys remember that photo of Grey?"

"Yeah, what about it?" Jesse answered for them.

"What's that got to do with this, Matt?" Barry asked.

"… Cause if we go through this plan, and it works… Our team is gonna be responsible for killing an 18-year-old young man… A kid who's barely older than Frankie and Rubs…" Matt bluntly declared. He didn't have to be in the van with them to know that realization hit them like a downpour. "My nieces… Caitlin's daughters… Seth's daughters… They'll be responsible for this kid's death…"

"Then… They can't do that." Iris shakily said. "We have to do something else."

"Otherwise, those poor girls will be his murderers…" Felicia clenched her clawed hands.

"Matty." Olivia got her husband's attention.

"What is it?" The nanite mutant asked.

"What we did with Eliza Harmon… Those Blizzard Bombs… We can use them like we did with her, right?" Olivia suggested.

"He's not a speedster, so I'm guessing one or two would work." Matt agreed. Compartments opened on the sides of his thighs and spare Blizzard Bombs revealed themselves. He grabbed them both. "Instead of exhausting him to death, we capture him."

Matt threw one to the cat burglar who caught it with one hand. As she tapped on the bomb with one hand, Felicia pressed her earpiece with the other. "Girls, you hear that plan."

"Gotta admit, it's better than the one the others came up with!" Magenta shouted her agreement.

"Yeah, I agree." Destroyer stated.

"Ruby?" Matt got her attention through the earpiece. With a smile behind his mask, he stated. "Your parents will be proud of you when they hear this."

"Not the time, Unc." Ruby embarrassedly said.

Felicia cooed. "You're embarrassing your little niece in the middle of a mission, shame on you."

"Shut up." Wing thrusters formed on his back. "Let's go!" He propelled himself forward, toward the fight.

Black Cat jumped into the air, shooting out a grappling hook and swung towards the same direction.

X

Magenta and Destroyer slid to a stop and looked up, their eyes meeting Griffin Grey who walked to them. "I'm gonna kill Wells." He determinedly informed them.

"No way." Frankie shook her head.

Still holding her Chakram blade, Ruby announced. "Wells can't help you, maybe, but doesn't mean we can't."

Griffin examined his aged hands with wrinkles. "It's too late for that." He raised them till they were in front of his aged and wrinkled face with a bald spot on his head with white hair. "Not everyone got the powers you two did, like the Flash."

"He's a bit of a mook, actually." Ruby stated, knowing full well that the former speedster is listening in on the conversation.

"Maybe, but some of us weren't so lucky." Griffin stated. He ran for Destroyer and swung his fist. Performing a backwards flip, she dodged and thrusted out her hand, pushing him back with a weak gravitational pulse.

"Stop it!" Ruby shouted. "You're gonna die, Grey!"

Lashing out his hands to the sides, Griffin took hold of a pair of toy carts and threw them both. Both sisters lashed out their hands, stopping the cars coming in their directions. Both sets of their hands clenched their hands and the cars compacted, forming them into a pair of chunky balls.

The sisters threw them to the sides and watched Griffin angrily walk to them. "I might be getting older, but I'm stronger than ever."

"This isn't worth it!" Magenta shouted, thrusting both hands up and making several trash cans float into the air before making them rain down on him. Griffin moved backwards, sidestepping avoidantly as each trash can came raining down.

Griffin's face aged again after avoiding those attacks.

"Fuck, he's aging." Ruby groaned.

"Need a hand, girls?" Felicia appeared over the evil metahuman. Her hand lashed down and shot out a grappling hook, it pierced into his pant legs. Landing in front of him, the burglar pulled on it and forced Griffin down to the ground and made him grunt in pain.

From the ground, Griffin growled his anger and flung a chunk of the concrete after them. Destroyer projected a powerful gravitational blast at the chunk of concrete, shattering it into pieces. Griffin Grey returned to his feet; his face aged again.

"Let's get this show on the road." Felicia said as it was now or never. She pressed the middle of the Blizzard Bomb and it emitted a white light. "Ladies pin him down. Gift-wrap him."

They nodded their agreement before jumping into action. Destroyer used her gravity powers to force the evil metahuman to stop moving, like he was wrapped around in an invisible veil of gravitational force.

Magenta jumped into the air, tendrils erupting from all around her body. Each tendril took hold of a random piece of metal before flinging them into the air. The magnekinetic's eyes shined brightly magenta before slamming her hands together, the pieces of metal shooting down to Griffin's body and wrapped around his body.

"Junior, where are you?!" Felicia shouted before throwing the Blizzard Bomb at the evil metahuman.

"I'm here!" Matt spun around before hurling the bomb.

Both bombs shined blue and that was the last thing Griffin saw…

EXPLOSION

Matt slammed himself down in front of his nieces and the burglar, forming a large shield to protect them from the white-bluish flames in the explosion that followed the Blizzard Bombs' collision with Griffin Grey's body. He groaned as a series of explosions went off. Because of the close distance to the cold explosions, the nanite mutant saw that his shield was hit by the cold white smoke. Even the right side of his helmet was hit by the smoke and froze.

When it finally died down, Matt detached his shield and let it fall to the ground and tore off his helmet. "Wow…" He said as he, the burglar and his nieces saw the small iceberg in front of them, Griffin Grey in the middle of it, wrapped in metal.

Ruby walked forward and took off her mask, exhaling sharply at the sight. "Sorry for it, Griffin…"

Magenta's mouth opened up and Frankie's head came out of it. "Thanks to you, sis… We saved him."

"She's right, you know." Joe agreed, holstering his gun. "Because of you… We can hopefully help this kid back on track."

"Nice job, Destroyer." Felicia playfully ruffled Ruby's hair.

"Ugh, quit being so sentimental." Ruby backed away, in fear of them hugging her. "How about we save the tears for Wells, if he's dead?"

Matt raised an eyebrow. "You expect him to be dead and that no one would cry if he's alive?"

"Yes and no." Ruby answered both questions as she put her mask on again. She ran towards Harry's location.

Felicia formed a frown. "If I didn't know any better, I would have sworn that kid was Ace's biological kid. She's got the traits of a horrible person."

"No argument on that." Matt said before the four chased after her.

Reunited at last after rescuing Harrison from the arcade he was tied up in, Jesse and Harry walked back into the room that was once their home.

Stepping back into the room, Jesse sarcastically said. "Home sweet home."

Equipped with his energy rifle, Harry said with a chuckle. "Yeah, well… To be honest, it hasn't felt much like a home in a while." He took off his rifle. "At least, certainly not since you left."

In the process of taking off her sweater, Jesse sadly said. "Yeah." She faced her father. "Look, I'm sorry, Dad, for just leaving like that."

"Must be sorry for all that first-class chocolate and drinks." Harry smirked.

"I never drank anything, that was all Felicia." Jesse assured him with a chuckle, that did not assure her father in any way. "But… I mean, you have to understand, I'm the reason you killed that man." Harrison mentally groaned. "And that's a really heavy burden to bear."

Sighing heavily, Harry said. "I know." While taking items out of his backpack, he said. "I know… I also know that what I've done, it's unforgivable." He turned to face his daughter and confessed. "When your mother died, honey… Something inside me broke. I couldn't protect her. And I swore… I swore on her grave, no less, that I would protect you, and then Zoom took you, and I snapped. Even though Ramon's vibe showed me Fury protecting you, I couldn't but snap. I just snapped. I couldn't breathe, I…" He gestured to his daughter with both hands. "I couldn't lose the only other person that I love."

"Yeah. Yeah, I get that." Jesse tearfully said. "I understand why you did everything you did to protect me. I mean, you were only missing one day, and I would have done anything to find you." Harry laughed at their similarities. "But I mean… I need to know that that's never gonna happen again. Okay?" She asked while wiping away tears. "Every time I stay out later or get in trouble, you can't track me down or hurt someone cause you're trying to save me."

"Yeah, but you're in danger." The Earth-2 scientist countered.

"I know." Jesse nodded.

Harry nodded. "Okay…. I will make you a promise. I promise you; I will be the kind of father that you will be proud of." He looked deep into his daughter's eyes. "If you promise me you will never run away from me again."

She chuckled at the promise, inwardly doubting it. "Okay. Okay, deal." She hugged her father tightly. "I love you, Dad."

Harrison wrapped his arms around his daughter, pulling her close. "I love you, too…. My little Jesse Quick."

(Earth-2, Zoom's Lair)

Too terrified to even move her legs, Caitlin focused her attention on another matter and raised her restraint hands, using the backs of them to wipe off the excess vomit from the corners of her mouth. After witnessing the death of her doppelganger, the Earth-1 immediately threw up her stomach contents.

It was strange… Caitlin knew that she practically shoved down the burger and fries before without any liquid support like soda, but still… For her to suddenly throw up like that so suddenly and so powerfully, it scared her to no end.

"What's wrong with me…" She asked herself under a whisper.

"You okay?" Hunter asked her.

She didn't make eye contact with him. She couldn't as the blood of her doppelganger was still on his hand. In the corner of her eye, she could still see her doppelganger's dead body on the cold ground. "Stay away from me."

This was not the reaction Hunter expected from her. "Killer Frost tried to kill you, Caitlin. I saved your life. You should thank me."

"Don't think I'm an idiot." Caitlin said.

"What do you mean?" Hunter asked, trying hard not to laugh.

For the first time, since his return, Caitlin pointed an intolerant look at the evil speedster. "You knew that if you released me, I'd see my doppelganger and try to help her out of her cage to escape this place. You'd wait for that opportunity for that and show up… and kill her in front of me, because she has the same face as me. Cause you won't hesitate to do the same to me."

"…." Hunter remained silent for a few moments before bursting into callous laughter. The evil speedster laughed for a few moments. And when he did, he looked at her with a knowing look. "When you'd realize my little scheme?"

"When you showed up again with a grin." Caitlin revealed.

"You really are a smart girl, Caitlin." Hunter chuckled with a grin.

"… I just want to go home." She beseeches him to release her.

His grin fell. "No. Stay." He only said so as two people were slowly making their way back here.

Tears stinging in her eyes, she pleaded. "I want to leave!" She saw his head twisting and turning again, once again revisiting horrific images from the past. "Please." Caitlin pleaded. "Take me back to my Earth, my family."

The thought of the elemental and his daughter nearing his lair, the evil speedster had another realization. "You know… I've always measured my success by counting the number of victims I've had. But I think I'm going to widen my scope." Smirking smugly, he walked to the bed and crouched down beside it, beside the Earth-1 doctor. "Start counting the number of Earths I conquer, instead."

Caitlin's face paled in realization.

"You want to go home? Let's go. After all, this Earth has already been brought to its knees." Hunter cackled as Caitlin caught on. "And we better get to it before Seth and your daughter show up."

"What?" Caitlin croaked.

"Oh yeah, Seth and Evelyn are already scaling the cliff… Closing on the entrance." Zoom nodded to the entrance of the lair. "Let's go."

"No. SETH-"

WHOOSH

The doctor was cut off when the evil speedster sped her out of the cuffs and out of the lair, and the world.

And a shroud of shadows appeared at the entrance of the lair. Walking out of it, Seth and Evelyn readied themselves for a fight. But instead of expecting a fight to meet them, they were met with an empty bed in the middle of the lair.

"What the hell?" Seth walked over to the bed and his daughter followed.

Following her father, the young metahuman looked around in search of her mother. "What happened…" Evelyn trailed off in horror when seeing the body before her.

Seth pierced his sword into the ground and crouched beside the bed. Slowly raising his hand, he glided his hand over the ratty mattress. He sighed when feeling the residual warmth on its plushy surface. Coming to a stop when something entangled with his fingers, he lifted his hand and saw that it was familiar strands of chestnut-brown hair hanging off his fingertips. "Cait…"

"Focus Seth… We know it's hard… But you have to, not just for you, but also for your daughter." Venom told his host with arrays of emotions coming his way to calm him down.

The mutant got back on his feet. "Fucking hell… Caitlin was right here, not too long ago, recently… Zoom most have been tipped off by Black Siren and sped away with her."

"Dad…"

Hearing that fearful tone Seth faced her daughter. Her eyes were pointing in a certain direction which he followed, and he met the same sight…

… the sight of Caitlin Snow-2, Killer Frost's body… On the ground… A hole in her stomach…

He didn't know what to feel right now. He knew it wasn't his Caitlin… He knew that it wasn't Killer Frost of his world… and that caused him to feel… unsure.

"Zoom took her, Mr. Venom."

Recognizing that voice, Seth turned to it and saw the mangled form of Mr. Bliss in the glass cage. "Bliss… Long time no see." He slowly walked past the metahuman's corpse, holding his daughter's hand, and walked towards the cell.

"Suppose this is the second time we meet as our true selves." The pathokinetic stated.

"First time… We didn't get to properly meet, though." The mutant alluded to their first meeting when he showed up here in the lair to save Killer Frost.

"Dad?" Evelyn shakily asked. "Why are you so… Why are you so calm right now?" She tremblingly pointed to the dead body with her mother's face. "She has Mom's face, so wh-"

GASP

A sudden gasp echoed throughout the lair when the dead body of Killer Frost jolted up. Series of gasps came from Evelyn and Nathan when they saw the body move. But what worried them more was the hole in her stomach… Moving?

It was moving and shifting… and morphing…

The hole filled up with flesh… like her stomach was never penetrated…

Killer Frost's eyes pointed to the elemental. As her head faced in his direction, her eyeballs rolled into the back of his head. "Little hiccup in the plan, Seth."

Evelyn, Seth, Nathan and the man in the mask were shocked to hear the male voice coming from the female body.

Seth expected the voice and knew better than the others, but was still shocked like the others. "You might wanna explain this."

Nodding his agreement, "Killer Frost" got back on his feet and the rest of his body morphed and shifted… This time turning into his real and original form, even the clothes shifted and morphed into something else.

Evelyn, the man in the mask and Nathan Bliss were shocked by the sight of his form looking at him. His clothes consisted of black shoes. Light blue pants covering his legs and his torso covered by a gray shirt.

But his face shocked them as it was… Without eyes, without facial features… like a blank canvass of human skin.

Seth recognized this face… as it was the same one, he saw on his Earth. "Pleasure to meet you again, Hannibal Bates."

"Likewise, Seth." Hannibal admitted with a smile, which definitely creeped Evelyn out. "Happy that I'm able to say thank you for everything you did for my team, my family… in person." He quipped with a gesture to his body.

"Yeah…" Seth realized that he was acting suspicious and stated. "Sorry for acting so strange, I saw someone with your face on my Earth. Not a good experience."

"I heard that." Hannibal laughed sheepishly.

"Dad, what's going on?" Evelyn asked.

"I will explain, I promise." Seth turned around to face the mangled entertainer and the man in the mask who for some reason began to bang his door with his fist and frantically shook his head. "But now-"

"Forget us, Mr. Venom." Nathan interrupted him.

"What?" Seth asked in surprise.

Nodding to his cellmate, Nathan explained. "What my masked companion is trying to explain, albeit in his own way, is that you have to forget us and go after Zoom and your loved one, Dr. Snow."

"You care about my Mom?" Evelyn asked in surprise.

"Live as I have, young lady, you grow to appreciate kindness from close friends." Nathan pointed his eye at the mutant. "Zoom is responsible for my current condition, but more importantly, he is responsible for the deaths of those I called family." Seth was surprised at his tone, shocked that he felt so deeply about his deceased crewmen. "My parents didn't even show an inch of their kindness as they only cared about fighting each other, which is what led to abandoning that home and finding a better one. But Zoom took that from me."

"Sorry to hear." Seth apologized. "I know you and I haven't had the best encounters for sure, but… Still sorry, Bliss."

"Thank you, Mr. Venom. And it is because of the kindness that your beloved showed me, which leads me to tell you to forget me and my fellow inmate for the moment and focus on Dr. Snow." Nathan stated.

"Name's Seth. Seth Fury." The elemental stated and Nathan smirked. He looked to the man in the mask. "What about you? You sure? Maybe I can get you out this time?"

And just like their first meeting in this lair… The masked prisoner shook his head repeatedly and waved his hand to the entrance of the lair. "You serious about this?" His response was a frantic nodding again. Once again, the mutant got a disturbing feeling at this.

Following their conversation Nathan added. "Mr. Fury, I believe he is very adamant on his decision. Go along… Find Dr. Snow." He stated confidently.

Seth faced him with a questioning look. But despite how long it's been since their last encounter, he could still see the determination of a thousand soldiers in his eyes, soldiers who are prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for the innocents. It was undeniable that this masked prisoner would willingly remain in this lair as a prisoner for however long it took… as long as it meant the innocents would be saved.

Sighing his concede, Seth admitted. "Thanks… and when I come back again… I will get you both out of here. I promise."

The masked prisoner gave a thumbs up in response, agreeing with that decision.

"Thank you, Mr. Fury." Nathan tipped his torn hat.

Seth faced Hannibal. "You okay? You had a hole in your guts a few seconds ago."

"Good's as new." The shapeshifter patted his stomach.

"Good." Evelyn chimed in. "But you know where Zoom took my Mom?"

"Sorry, I don't. I was unconscious, it takes time for me to morph a wound, kid." Hannibal stated.

"Damn, then he could be anywhere on this Earth with Caitlin." Seth growled.

"Not exactly." Nathan Bliss got their attention. "I know where they are, but it's not here, Mr. Fury…"

"Where are they?" Seth asked determinedly.

Nothing in the multiverse is gonna keep him from rescuing Caitlin. Come Hell's filthiest demons, come Heaven's angelic armies… He would fight them all and win, and protect his loved one with every fiber of his body.

(Earth-1, S.T.A.R. Labs)

"You must be proud of yourself." Frankie told her sister when she walked into the Cortex and handed her a cold soda can.

"Thanks, and yeah I guess." Ruby said unsurely while accepting the drink.

Leaning against the console railing, the magnekinetic said as she opened her own cold soda. "What's wrong?"

With a chuckle escaping her mouth, she admitted. "Well, it's kinda funny we have two iced metas in our Pipeline right now and we haven't done anything to save them."

"At least, because of us, they're saved." Frankie nudged her. "When Mom and Dad come back, they're gonna work on saving Grey and Aunt Eliza." The metahuman sipped on her drink and looked at her sister intensely.

Noticing the way her sister's looking at her, Ruby asked. "What?"

"You've changed a lot since coming to this world, you know." Frankie stated happily.

"How so?" Ruby narrowed her eyes threateningly.

"I don't know." Frankie giggled at her sister's attempt to threaten her with her eyes. "But it's like you're more… Nicer. It's good."

"Screw you." Ruby walked away.

"No, it's a good thing!" Frankie chased her sister into the hallway, running along the sides of the walls.

"Beat it!" Ruby screamed at her sister in the hallway.

From the side lab, Barry walked into the Cortex with a chuckle. He heard the entire conversation between the girls and couldn't help but laugh. But his chuckle ended when his eyes wandered to his suit in a longing manner.

Behind him, Harrison walked into the Cortex. "Well…" Barry turned to him. "You're here early." The Earth-2 scientist noted while drinking from his coffee.

"I couldn't sleep." Barry stated.

"Me neither." Informed Harry.

"I know that we just took down Grey- Well saved him, really, but… I couldn't do anything to help them. Ruby and Frankie… They did everything. I was…" The former speedster scoffed. "I was a liability. I'm gonna be that as long as I don't have my powers."

"I know." Harry agreed.

"And does this mean I have to stay behind and watch Seth and the others fight the bad guys while I sit behind?"

"Probably." Harry sipped on his coffee.

Barry hoped for encouragement instead of brutal honesty. "And how am I supposed to fight Zoom if he gets back through the breach?"

"We can't, Allen." Harry continued honestly.

"Then what are we gonna do?" Barry asked curiously, but it sounded like a plea.

Harrison rubbed his eyes, recalling his conversation with Griffin Grey when he was in his captive. "You know, Grey… Grey kidnapped me because he thought I was the Harrison Wells from this Earth, and I know he was talking about another guy, but I just… I can't help but think…" He locked eyes with the former speedster. "I still haven't paid for what I've done."

Turning confused, Barry asked. "What does that mean?"

Straightening his glasses, the Earth-2 scientist walked around the console to reach the former speedster. "I thought, you know, when you… When we closed the breaches, I could just forget about everything I've done, but I can't." The two faced the suit on the mannequin. "I realize what I can do."

Barry shot him a questioning look.

Harry confessed. "You are gonna get your speed back, Allen. And I'm gonna help you do that."

"How?" Barry stated his confusion.

With a smirk on his face, Harrison Wells revealed. "By creating another particle accelerator explosion."

That plan… shocked Barry.

To be continued…

And that's a chapter peeps!

A home with a family wasn't a home without the entire family… Seth's gonna rectify that himself. Going through the breach in the abandoned asylum, after explaining his plan to his daughters, he returned to Earth-2.

What surprised him was that his daughter, Evelyn, unbeknownst to the rest of the family, followed her father to her origin world. While surprised and conflicted on what to do with her, Seth decided to have her stay with him while on Earth-2.

As her loved one and her daughter arrived on Earth-2 to rescue, Caitlin was dealing with strange sensations of hunger as she stared at the big juicy burger and piping hot fries in front of her as she was cuffed to a bed in Zoom's lair.

Zoom… Hunter Zolomon… told her to eat… but she didn't respond…

He proclaimed that she was there because he was grateful for her trying to save him when he was Jay Garrick. But she doubted that, knowing that it was because he wanted to get back at Seth for rescuing the two girls who'd end up becoming their daughters.

Releasing her from the cuffs, Caitlin wandered around in the lair and saw Mr. Bliss, unconscious and mangled. To her surprise, she also found her doppelganger in the cage.

Evelyn and Seth met up with Felicity Smoak from Earth-2, AKA Eye Sight, and told her the entire situation.

On Earth-1, Harry searches for his daughter and sees that's she's sharing a condo with Black Cat, and also partaking in expensive food and drinks. Jesse showed up and wondering how her father was able to find her, and he revealed that it was with the use of cellular dead zones that Earth-2 natives leaves behind.

Despite Harry trying to convince his daughter otherwise, Jesse adamantly decided against going with him, seeing as he's responsible for killing a man and that she'd be much safer away from him. With that, Harrison-2 walked away.

On Earth-2, Seth have explained everything to Felicity and also asked for her help to find Zoom, see if he's still here in Central City. After revealing that her scans showed that Zoom was running away from Ascension Cliffs, Eye Sight vaguely told him that their icy friend is still sleeping.

On Earth-1, the team learnt that Seth and, surprisingly enough, Evelyn had gone to Earth-2 to save Caitlin, which shocked them all equally. Another shocking news hit them when they found out that Harry was kidnapped after an accident.

Earth-2, following her meeting with her icy doppelganger, Caitlin partakes in some strange conversation with Caitlin-2, which was interrupted by the prisoner in the iron mask who tapped on the glass.

But it was brushed to the side as the two Caitlins talked about a plan to get out of the lair together. As that was happening, Felicity checked on the real Killer Frost who's stashed away in her base, checking to see if she was alright. Meanwhile, Seth and Evelyn stopped a car chase which happened in Central City.

Dealing with a mess left behind by Eobard Thawne, Harry had to deal with Griffin Grey, the metahuman who kidnapped him and demanded that Harrison Wells fixed him.

Evelyn and Seth entered the Woodlands on Earth-2, where they reached the same lake they reached before when they escaped Zoom's lair the first time. But their little time reminiscing their first adventure was interrupted by Black Siren who showed up and faced off against them. Things looked bleak for the elemental who was caught in a sonic torture attack but thankfully, his daughter awakened a familiar power and unleashed an array of arrows after the cryer.

Caitlin was scolded by her doppelganger because she took too long with getting her out, which happened due to the Earth-1 counterpart running off to eat fast food. The two doppelgangers talked together, engaging in a topic about their equally cold mother. The topic shifted to Killer Frost's late brother, Charlie Snow.

On Earth-1, Ace Chemicals, Iron Knight, Black Cat, Joe found this location to find Griffin Grey. Once finding him, they engaged in a battle with him. Barry showed up, unexpectedly, and tried to attack the evil metahuman, but missed.

On Earth-2, Caitlin met Nathan Bliss after he awakened with a startling scream. And then he watched from his cell as the counterparts tried to help each other. Their plan worked and they shattered the glass to Killer Frost's cage.

When they did, things took a strange turn when Killer Frost grabbed Caitlin's wrist and tried to use his powers but failed to do so…. They usually worked on one person… for some reason they didn't pm Caitlin. Before he could get out another word, Zoom appeared and drove his claws into his stomach…

Meanwhile in her base, Felicity saw her old friend awake up from her long slumber.

Frankie and Ruby and Joe and Cisco went to Central City Amusement Park, and fought Griffin with Felicia and Matt, who watched and examined Ruby's fighting style, that she was holding back. They quickly realized that the metahuman, an 18-year old teenager, would die if their plan went through and they defeated Griffin Grey.

Thankfully, Olivia reminded her husband about the Blizzard Bombs, which were used to capture and stop Eliza Harmon. Same tactics were used on Griffin Grey, capturing him and turning him into a block of ice.

Earth-2, Caitlin was once again shackled to the bed in Zoom's lair by Zoom. After witnessing the death of someone with her face, she threw up her stomach contents immediately. Caitlin saw through the speedster's plan, knowing that Hunter's plan to kill her in front of her eyes as an example.

Zoom took her away before Seth and Evelyn arrived, taking away to the next Earth he's gonna conquer, Earth-1. The father and daughter arrived in his lair, seeing the prisoners and the body of Killer Frost.

Evelyn was shocked and surprised to see that body, but things took a stranger turn when they saw the body wake up with a startle and then morph into another being, another metahuman… a male.

On Earth-1… Harry proposed to Barry that he can give him his powers again. With another particle accelerator explosion.

Stay tuned and find out what happens next!

Until next time, peeps!
