A/N: short chapter...

Michaelanglo's POV

So…..my head hurts. But what I just saw with Leo kicking the shit of Raph was probably the most cinematic event ever. Best day ever. I mean, I get why. Raph is being pushy, but on the other hand…I eyed the look on Leo, whose face was flushed, and he looked extremelyyyyyy uncomfortable. Don and I exchanged a quick look.

My favorite turtle seemed to be worked up more than normal with Raph's shenanigans. It kinda dawned on me, like the sun was coming up. Raph might be on to something. What if Leo was having hard time with brand new feelings? I gave an inner fan-girl scream.

Leonardo was picking up his books that had flung all over the floor. I glanced over as Donnie shifted next to me. I wondered if he was picking up the same vibes I was.

"Leo." Don tried again, quietly. Leo shot him a look of pure daggers and our brainiac's voice trailed off for a moment. He swallowed. Yikes. A complete no-go for Donnie today.

"Do you want to come downstairs…I have some interesting findings…"Don looked concerned but also slightly terrified. It was a typical effect when our leader was pissed off to say the least.

The tension in the air was unbearable now. If there was one thing, I couldn't handle it was any form of silent treatment from my brothers. It made me antsy as hell. I cleared my throat feeling all eyes in the room dart to me.

"So I have a headache. Anything new for your guys? All ailments are welcomed." I shot them both a cheeky smile.

Donnie gave me an exasperated look and shook his head. Leo gave me a blank look for a moment. Then he sighed.

"This is so…"

"Amazing? Awesome?" I imputed.

He gave me a face. "Out of control." He finished. I shrugged. "depends on how you look at it."

Leo gave me a long stare. I felt like he was asking the universe for strength or something. He licked his lips, like he had made a decision. "I need some air."

He pushed by us, heading out the door. "We can take a run." I suggested quickly, sensing that everything was creeping towards downhill. Leo had an expression of pure iciness now.

"Leo. Wait." Don started, jogging to catch up with the katana wielding turtle.

"No. I want to be alone." Leo said, swiftly. Don stopped in his tracks and I did along with him. A moment later, the door to the lair opened and shut. My nose wrinkled up and I made to follow him when…

"Ow!"

Old Donnie boy had yanked hard on the tails of my bandanas.

"You all need to fight a better way to stop me." I snapped, readjusting my mask.

"I think we should let him go." Don instructed, giving me a meaningful look that was utterly lost on me.

"Oh Yeah." I snorted "Cause that worked out brilliantly last time we let him go out on his own." I turned back towards the door

Don yanked on my bandana tails again and my head snapped back. "Ow! Seriously!?"

"I am serious, Shell-for-Brains." Snapped Donnie, "Leo is going to need to think on things without you pressuring him."

I gave him a dull look. "Things?" I echoed. "Come on, Don. You and I both know what is happening."

Don arched an eye ridge at me. " I doubt you can follow the simplest of my dialogues, Mikey."

He leapt down heading towards his lab. I followed quickly with a frontal flip.

"Donnie! The insults. Granted that was a burn, but I am 99.9 percent we just witnessed Leonardo being turned on."

Don's reaction was rather moving, he missed the step up to lab and nearly faceplanted. He spun around once he got his bearings. The ever-graceful Donatello.

"Are you insane? Don't answer that, that was strictly rhetorical." Don spurted. His eyes shot up to Raph's room and back down to me. I smiled smoothly.

"Looks like hot-head pull some right moves."

"He was NOT turned on! You….." Don made a noise of extreme rage in the back of his throat.

" Obviously, HE IS FREAKING OUT ABOUT SPLINTER." Don shouted the last part at me but I still had my doubts. "Splinter? Heck no." I waved that away.

Don took a deep breath to calm himself. Something he normally did when he felt he had to talk to down to others. Normally that was Raph and I….mostly me actually..go figure.

"Look, Leo was left in charge. You know Splinter can get. Now…well there Is a lot happening and I don't think Leo is thinking about the fact that we all…well… you know…I think he is worried about you and.."

"Me?" I interjected, puzzled. "Dude, I'm fine. Fabulous in fact."

Don rolled his eyes. "Mikey, you went into a trance and attacked Leo. That is not the definition of fine."

"Yeah…I don't remember that." I said slowly, thinking. Me…attacking Leo….

"Hence, the trance." Don said, his left eye twitching. I started at me him and felt a slight rise of panic in my chest.

"Why would I do that?"

Don let out a groan and looked skyward as if to pray to a higher being. "Mikey, Trance. What part of that don't you understand ?"

"definitely the trance part." I muttered. Don gave me a reproachful look.

It had to be Doctor Frahm's doing. I thought. I felt a chilly sensation creep up my spine. I gave Donnie a wide-eyed look.

"Don…what if that happens again? How can I stop it? I don't want to hurt you or Leo…or Raph…I mean..."

Don's face softens. He raised a hand cutting me off. "I think I have a solution. Leo and I were doing some research, but it could mean you having to recovery some memories, Mikey."

I shuddered despite myself. "Great."

Don reached out placing a hand on my shoulder. "Mikey, it would be for the best." He said in a solemn tone.

I nodded even though the pit of my stomach was currently dropping out. But I knew my genius brother was right. I was totally a risk. If I ended hurting them…..I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

"Alright, Don. But, I still have one thing to say."

Donatello gave me a critical look. I shot him a wide grin, knowing he was falling for my trap.

"I still think Leo likes Raph kisses more than yours, Bro." And then, I ducked a swat from his Boi staff towards my head.
