I don't own Sailor Moon, nor did I create it. Naoko Takeuchi created Sailor Moon, this is just my alternate universe version, a sort of "If I created Sailor Moon" story...

CHAPTER 35: HOW I SPENT MY SUMMER VACATION #6
ENTER THE STARLIGHT WARRIOR
JULY 13, 1987
Jerry Logue and Usagi Tsukino had gone to Tommy's for breakfast getting sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches, and as they finished, Usagi's communicator went off. "I have to take this," Usagi said. "You understand, don't you?"
"Of course," Jerry said. "You're the superhero."
"Rabbit here," Usagi said.
"Trouble at Loma Norte Park, in La Habra," Makoto Kino said.
"On it," Usagi said heading to the lady's room. "Pretty Soldier of the Moon, Make-Up!" she said, and transformed into Sailor Moon. She teleported to Loma Norte Park, where Draevyn showed up, along with several demons. She was quickly met by the rest of her team, namely, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Earth, and Golden Hawk.
"Let's take this motherfucker down once and for all," Golden Hawk said.
"Sounds like a plan," Sailor Moon said.
"Such bravado," Draevyn said. "But who do you think you are that you can defeat me?"
"I am the Pretty Soldier of Love and Justice. I am Sailor Moon, and in the name of the Moon, I'll punish you!"
"I am the Pretty Soldier of Love and Intelligence. I am Sailor Mercury, and in the name of Mercury, douse yourself in water and repent!"
"I am the Pretty Soldier of Love and Passion. I am Sailor Mars, and in the name of Mars, I'll chastise you!"
"I am the Pretty Soldier of Love and Courage. I am Sailor Jupiter, and in the name of Jupiter, I'll fill you so full of regret, it'll make you numb!"
"I am the Pretty Soldier of Love and Beauty. I am Sailor Venus, and in the name of Venus, I'll castigate you with love!"
"I'm the Pretty Soldier of Love and Friendship. I am Sailor Earth, and in the name of Earth, prepare to meet your fate!"
"And I am the Heavy Metal Suburban Vigilante of the 1980s. I am Golden Hawk, and in the name of all that is wicked cool, I'll kick your ass!"
Meanwhile, back at Tommy's, Jerry Logue tossed his and Usagi's trash in the nearest trash bin, hopped on the back of his Harley-Davidson SS-350, and rode to Loma Norte Park as fast as he could without attracting undue attention from the La Habra Police Department. Once he arrived, he parked his motorcycle in a hidden spot, and removed a silver coin from his pocket, one with a starburst on it.
Meanwhile, the Sailor Soldiers and Golden Hawk were fighting Draevyn and the demons accompanying him. "These guys are some tough motherfuckers," Golden Hawk said. "They're giving me a run for my money."
"And I bet you're enjoying it," Sailor Venus said.
"I'll let you know," Golden Hawk said.
"Mercury Ice Storm!" Sailor Mercury said, battering demons with ice.
"Mars Flaming Punch!" Sailor Mars said, throwing haymakers, each tossing a ball of fire at a demon.
"Moon Blaster!" Sailor Moon said, firing beams of white energy from her Moon Staff, which hit several of the demons.
"Someone take a knee!" Golden Hawk said. Sailor Venus took a knee, and Golden Hawk got a running start, and vaulted off her shoulders, channeling energy through his staff, destroying all the demons.
"Enough!" Draevyn said, as he raised his hands, bringing down several bolts of lightning, each causing a small explosion when they hit the ground, one sending Sailor Moon down to the ground. Draevyn made a motion with his hands, and Sailor Moon was bound in chains, her head on a tree stump. "You, the one called Sailor Moon, you will be the first to die." He materialized a sword with a monomolecular blade(a blade which, at its sharpest point, is a single molecule thick), and prepared to behead Sailor Moon. He got into position, and brought the sword down quickly, the blade practically drooling at the prospect of separating Sailor Moon's head from the rest of her body.
"I don't know who you are," came a voice that was obviously distorted, as a beam of dark blue energy blasted the blade from Draevyn's hand less than an inch from Sailor Moon's neck, "but the only person dying here today is you."
Another blast of dark blue energy knocked Draevyn several feet back, and onto his butt. The Sailor Soldiers and Golden Hawk looked in the direction the blasts of dark blue energy came from, and saw a figure wearing a midnight blue bodysuit, silver gloves and wristbands, thigh high silver boots, and a midnight blue hockey mask with a silver starburst design on it. He waved a hand, and the chains binding Sailor Moon disappeared. She got up, and ran to her savior. "I don't know who you are," Sailor Moon said, hugging him, "but I owe you my life."
"You owe me nothing," the figure said, in a distorted voice. "It is my duty to protect you and your friends, Sailor Moon."
"That's great and all," Sailor Mars said, "but who exactly are you, anyways?"
"You can call me..." he said, and was interrupted by Draevyn getting up, and firing a blast of black energy at the figure. He put out a hand, and harmlessly deflected the energy, and picked Draevyn up in a side suplex move, flying several thousand feet in the air. He came down, and approximately 100 feet from the ground, flung Draevyn onto the concrete, and slowly lowered himself to the ground. The impact of Draevyn hitting hard, solid concrete at the speed he was going was enough to kill him. As he touched down, the figure tossed a ball of dark blue energy at Draevyn's lifeless body, seemingly vaporizing it.
"Damn," Golden Hawk said. "This guy don't mess around.
"He tried to harm my friends," the figure in midnight blue and silver said. "I harmed him back, and made sure he would never harm another person ever again."
"So who are you, anyways?" Sailor Moon asked.
"You can call me the Starlight Warrior," he said.
"Who are you, really?" Sailor Earth asked.
"A friend," Starlight Warrior said. "A friend who took a solemn oath of loyalty to the one named Sailor Moon, as well as her friends. I am sworn to serve and protect you."
"That's fine and all," Sailor Moon said, "but who are you underneath that mask?"
"A friend," Starlight Warrior said.
"Okay," Sailor Moon said. "If you took an oath of loyalty to me, how strong is your loyalty."
"Without question," Starlight Warrior said.
"I order you to show my friends and I your face," Sailor Moon said.
"As you wish," Starlight Warrior said, surrounding himself, Sailor Moon, the Sailor Soldiers, and Golden Hawk in a dome of dark blue energy. He removed his mask, revealing his face. "Jerry?" Sailor Moon said, transforming back to Usagi Tsukino.
"I was looking for the right time to tell you my little secret," Starlight Warrior said.
"Well, I'm glad you showed up when you did," Usagi said, giving him a kiss. "If you hadn't, I might have lost my head. And I mean, literally losing my head."
"I wasn't going to let that happen," Starlight Warrior said, transforming back to Jerry Logue. "Not on my watch."
"I think it's time we power down," Sailor Moon said.
"I don't suppose our new ally is that new boyfriend of yours," Sailor Venus said, transforming back to Mina Aino.
"Yeah," Usagi said, as the rest of the team transformed back to their civilian identities. "Anyways, guys, this is Jerry Logue, my new boyfriend."
"Ami Mizuno," Ami said. "I'm Sailor Mercury."
"Mina Aino," Mina said, "I'm Sailor Venus."
"Rae Hino," Rae said. "Sailor Mars."
"Molly Hogan," Molly said. "I'm Sailor Earth."
"Makoto Kino, but my friends call me Koto," Makoto said. "I'm Sailor Jupiter."
"Jerry and I have already met," John said. "We're cousins. His meemaw is my granddad's sister."
"You're going to have to come over to my house and meet my mom," Rae said. "Our headquarters, so to speak, are in a fallout shelter in my backyard, and my mom has one rule, I can't have any boys down there unless she meets them first."
"How do you know I've never met your mom before?" Jerry asked.
"What makes you think You've met my mom?" Rae asked.
"I lived in La Habra until I was 11," Jerry said. "Doesn't your mom teach here in La Habra?"
"She's been teaching at Tierra Rica for the last 10 years," Rae said.
"Is her first name Sharon?" Jerry asked.
"Yeah," Rae said.
"I have met her," Jerry said. "I had her for fourth grade, when I was at Tierra Rica."
"Guess that works," Rae said. "At least for me. I have to ask my mom about that one."
"Usagi and I are going to be hanging out at my mom's today," Jerry said. "In fact, I'll be staying there at least until school starts in September."
"Here's the number," Usagi said, handing Rae a slip of paper on which she wrote a phone number.
A few minutes later, everyone teleported out, with the exception of Jerry and Usagi, who rode to Jerry's mom's house on his bike. When Rae got home, her mother was watching an old movie on cable. "So what was it this time?" Sharon Hino asked.
"Draevyn," Rae said. "Just imagine if Dracula went heavy metal. We defeated him, at least Usagi's new boyfriend defeated him."
"I wasn't aware Usagi had a boyfriend," Sharon said.
"They've only been together a week," Rae said. "Anyways, he showed up just as Draevyn was about to decapitate Sailor Moon, he blasted the sword out of his hand. Next thing you know, he picks Draevyn up, takes him a couple miles straight up in the air, and bodyslams him onto a concrete walkway at about half the speed of sound. It was pretty brutal, especially the sound of every bone in his body being shattered at the same time, but he made sure we won't ever have to deal with Draevyn ever again."
"I don't suppose this boy will be coming down to the fallout shelter," Sharon said. "If he does, you know my rule."
"You already met him," Rae said.
"How would you know I already met him," Sharon asked.
"He's a former student of yours." Rae said. "His name's Jerry Logue."
"I remember him," Sharon said. "I guess he's okay to go down to the shelter with you girls. How is he doing, anyways?"
"He's doing pretty good," Rae said. "I had English and history with him last year."
"I thought he would have graduated this past year," Sharon said.
"He went to live with his dad halfway through sixth grade," Rae said. "His dad had him held back to make up for him skipping kindergarten."
"Makes sense," Sharon said. "I remember he was a smart kid, but he was a little younger than the rest of his class."
Meanwhile, Jerry and Usagi are hanging out at Jerry's mom's house. "You two have any plans for today?" Sharon, Jerry's mom, asked.
"Not really," Usagi said.
"Maybe just hang out here," Jerry said.
"I think I want to go to Sizzler for lunch," Sharon said. "You two want to go with?"
"Sure," Usagi said.
"Sounds good to me," Jerry said. "Are Debra and Lisa going?"
"More than likely," Sharon said. "You don't mind taking Usagi on your bike, do you?"
"Of course," Jerry said.
Later that afternoon, Sharon took Debra and Lisa to Sizzler on Whittier Boulevard, followed by Jerry and Usagi on Jerry's motorcycle. Sharon got a salad bar lunch with a diet cola, while Debra got a cheeseburger lunch with fries, salad bar, and iced tea, Lisa got a shrimp lunch with fries, salad bar, and iced tea, and both Jerry and Usagi got Malibu chicken lunches(Usagi got fries, Jerry got a baked potato with extra butter, and added cheese and bacon bits from the salad bar) with salad bar, and iced tea. Jerry and Usagi went together to the salad bar, where they both got salads, Jerry got his with corn, kidney beans, red onions, bacon bits, sunflower seeds, raisins, cheese, hard boiled eggs and 1000 island, along with onion rings and potato wedges, while Usagi got hers with tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, croutons, and ranch dressing, with potato wedges. As they ate, Jerry dipped his cheese toast in the sauce that came with the Malibu chicken(a mix of mayonnaise and mustard). "I thought I was the only person who did that," Usagi said.
"Did what?" Jerry asked.
"Dip my cheese toast in the Malibu chicken sauce," Usagi said.
"I have a few other quirks," Jerry said. "For starters, I'm not all that fond of carrots, but I love carrot cake."
"Me too!" Usagi said. "Kind of ironic that I don't like carrots, seeing that my name is rabbit."
"I thought your name is Usagi," Lisa said.
"Usagi is the Japanese word for rabbit," Jerry said.
"Oh," Lisa said.
During lunch, Usagi received a call on her communicator. It wasn't anything real Earth shattering, it was just Mina informing her that they were going to have a brief Sailor Soldier meeting, and they wanted Jerry there as well. "Usagi and I are going to our friend Rae's house for a bit after lunch," Jerry said.
Later, after lunch, Jerry and Usagi rode to Rae's house, where Usagi led him to the backyard, and the fallout shelter. "This is kind of our headquarters," Usagi said.
"I always wanted to visit an actual Cold War fallout shelter," Jerry said. "Perfect place to have a wing-ding, a summer smoker underground."
"A what?" Usagi asked, as they entered.
"I was thinking of one of my favorite albums," Jerry said. "The Nightfly by Donald Fagen. It's kind of a concept album set in the late 50s-early 60s, listening to a late night DJ. One of the songs is "New Frontier", a song about a party in a fallout shelter."
"Anyways, we're here," Usagi said. "But I'm going to have to warn you, there's going to be some things that might freak you out."
"After what happened this morning," Jerry said, "I'm ready for just about everything."
"Don't say I didn't warn you," Usagi said.
They went down into the shelter, where Ami, Rae, Makoto, Mina, John, and Molly were waiting for them, along with Luna, Artemis, and Armstrong. "Nice of you two to join us," Mina said.
"It's not like my motorcycle is anywhere as fast as teleportation," Jerry said.
"Just busting your boyfriend's balls," Mina said.
"Don't feel too bad," John said. "They did it to me, too."
"You already know everyone here who's human," Usagi said, as Luna climbed on her shoulders. "This is my cat, Luna."
"The white cat is my cat Artemis," Mina said, as he climbed into her lap. .
"And the kitten is Armstrong," John said, picking the kitten up.
"Actually, it's Armstrong Eleven," Armstrong said. "Everybody just calls me Armstrong for short."
"Anyways," Luna said, "Jerry, I need to see your watch, please."
"Please be careful with it," Jerry said, taking his watch off. "My granddad and meemaw gave it to me when I turned 16. It means a lot to me, so please don't mess it up."
"I won't damage it in any way," Luna said, touching the watch with her paw. "You can have your watch back now."
"What did you do to it, anyways?" Jerry asked, putting his watch back on.
"It now doubles as a communicator," Luna said. "To use it, tap the crystal, and say who you want to talk to."
"We all have code names," Usagi said. "Mine is Rabbit, because Usagi is the Japanese word for rabbit."
"Mine is Quicksilver," Ami said. "I'm Sailor Mercury, and quicksilver is another name for mercury."
"Mine is Pyro," Rae said. "Since my powers are fire based."
"I go by Sparky," Makoto said. "Since my powers are lightning based."
"My favourite football team is Everton," Mina said. "That's why I use it as my code name."
"I use Flatbush as mine," Molly said. "Because I'm from Brooklyn."
"Since a hawk is a type of bird," John said, "I use Big Bird as my code name."
"My code name is Bad Luck Charm," Luna said. "since I'm a black cat, and black cats are associated with bad luck."
"I use Gato Blanco," Artemis said. "It's Spanish for white cat, and I'm a white cat."
"They call me Mahina," Armstrong said. "It's Hawaiian for moon, and I was born on the island of Maui."
"Do you need some time to think of a code name for yourself?" Usagi asked.
"I already have one picked out,"Jerry said. "Like Armstrong, I was born in Hawaii although I was born on Oahu, so I chose a code name in Hawaiian. I chose Kaua Hoku, which is Hawaiian for my favorite movie of all time."
"Star Wars?" Armstrong asked.
"Where do you think I got Starlight Warrior from?" Jerry replied.
