A/N: This is not The Tales of version of Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods or Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, but rather The Tales of version of a book I got of Greek and Roman Mythology I got in Rome Italy. The settings will be after 'The Tales of the Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus' so please read that before getting in this story. Think of this story as something to pass by until The Trials of Apollo books.

Aether

First off, Jason (my surrogate brother, not the leader of the Argonauts) and I made a promise with Kym to start recognizing all gods, even the lesser known ones. And although this guy is an ancient god, he's unfortunately among the lesser known gods. So Aether, if you are watching me as I write this, I hope I don't disrespect you.

To the Greek and Romans Aether was considered to be the personification of the upper sky, where the light is clearer than it is in the lower levels nearer the earth.

Aether was the son of Erebus and Nyx and brother of Hemera. Some stories say when Aether is united with Day he begot not only Earth, Sky, and sea, but number of abstract qualities, among them Grief, Anger, and Falsehood as well as Oceanus, Themis, Tartarus, Briares, Gyges, Steropes, Atlas, Hyperion, Saturn, Ops, Moreta, Dione, and the furies.

Some other myths say Aether was the father of Jupiter and Caelus and grandfather of the sun.

I don't know which of these are true, but I better scrape some sacrifice to this guy.

Hopefully, when I get back I'll be talking about the mother of Theseus and how she came to be mother of him.
