"Quickly, everyone! Into the waterways, every citizen in my city must remain safe at all costs!" Onyx shouted as he gestured towards a secret entryway just outside of the palace. The doors to the waterways were in a small tunnel that led underneath the palace. Onyx stood against the open door and rushed everyone in that the guards who were distributed throughout the city, had informed.
The citizens' cries of worry and fear echoed through the hall as they rushed through it. Guards stood outside of the small tunnel just a few feet away from the door, with newly made Ketix swords in hand for safety measures. Shishi was already inside the waterways, she was passing out food for the people who didn't get to eat before the alert sounded off through the city. Many citizens accepted the food and crowded up against the walls and bundled up in small groups to give some walking space.
Some even sat curled up with their knees against them, children whimpered in fear as they were held by their parents, and occasional whispers would occur in-question of the situation. Torgadi worked silently in a separate room in the waterways, passing out Ketix swords to every guard and soldier that came walking over. He was informed of what was going to happen, so he didn't waste any time crafting blades that were sufficient enough be rid of those foreign creatures.
Citizen after citizen, they all hurried through the tunnel. Guards on the inside of the waterways directed them where to go and were all pointed to the same area Shishi was in. The area was as big as a cavern, it had a high ceiling and the ground was flat. No rocks, no debris, not one sign of earth as the flooring; it was all shiny black flooring that had waterfalls streaming down out of large open holes from the nearby ocean. There were holes in the floor in some spots, that led the rushing water through other paths so it'd get passed throughout the city.
Gorgeous dark blue sapphires littered the ceiling and gave off a light glow that would be enough to light up the waterways. Kurochi, who stood in the center of the gigantic room with her new scythe being held by the pole using her one hand, watched as her people came pouring in. "M-My Queen, please, what's going on?! What is this war about?!" A man came walking over to her and got on his knees. His hand clasped together before him in a pleading manner, one eye was closed and the other one stared widely at her. His one eye must've been bad, most likely blind.
"You needn't worry about what this war is about. I only want to make sure my people are going to be safe," she reassured and placed a hand on top of his head. Not even a small smile would appear on her lips, her expression was strict and the poor yokai male who had small spikes on his scalp, knew that she was being serious. With a quick but shaky nod, the man rushed back over to his wife and cuddled his child. Inukimi should be doing the same...gathering as many people as she can. I've contacted other Kings and Queens across the world as well and informed them of the situation, they won't just sit by and allow such a prophecy to take place. The whole world should be in hiding by now, if not, then it soon will... she mentally noted and looked over at the far distant tunnel where people were coming in from.
As a mother, her concerned heart for her children grew with every second that passed. But, she knew that this was not the time to be worrying over her own children when the world was at stake.

Obsidian swooped down and made his pet fly away to get to safety. With his wings folding and allowing him to dive faster towards the ground below, he landed on his feet right in front of the three who were about to leave the street. "Y/N, my lord, and Asashi..." Obsidian spoke up and felt all three pairs of eyes turn to view him.
"Where were you, Obsidian...?" Sesshomaru growled angrily below his breath and stiffened his fingers into the claw gesture, threatening him with a furious feature; even Asashi squinted his orange eyes at the bat.
"Forgive me, but I chose to take to the sky and watch from above.~ From what I saw, all of those blackened creatures retreated in the same direction. Sadly, they're the least of our worries now..." He frowned, lowered his face to allow the shadow to veil over his features, and pointed a finger up at the sky. All heads, even the other gang that saw him land near the three, looked up at the sky. Their eyes widened, even Sesshomaru's! Kurimi, Glao, and Hateshiganai floated in place, high in the air. Hateshi, who had a straight, elegant posture with his hands to his sides, had his attention directed at Y/N.
"It's... It's...!" Sango muttered out in fear. Just by looking at the emotionless man in the sky, she could feel a dark, eerie vibe radiating off of his form.
"The Great Hateshiganai... He's here," Obi finished the sentence for her and turned his head to view the said threat. "And so is my aunt..." he mumbled the last part after smelling Kurimi behind the corpse scented villain in the sky. It felt like they were staring death in the face, just the hopeless sensation that they felt wash over them after feeling his dark aura, his ominous, eerie, yet calming vibe. They knew they were in it for their lives...
"He is no Ketix..." Asashi whispered to everyone around him. Wide, orange eyes narrowed into a fearful but strict look after he stated that. "He is a monster that took up the form of my deceased cousin...!" he added, which shocked his comrades and his pupil. He noticed their confused stares except for Sesshi, so he spoke again. "There is no time to explain!" His voice grew stronger when he spoke and he stepped closer to Y/N protectively.
"Indeed... Explain, and precious time will be wasted..." Sesshomaru replied and unsheathed his blade. He quickly stepped in front of Y/N and pushed her back with his free arm.
"Hey, I'm supposed to fight him, remember?!" Y/N exclaimed in a whisper and yanked on his long white sleeve. A faint blush tainted her cheeks at knowing he was willing to throw his life away to protect her like that.
"You are not ready to fight him yet... You have not gained the ability to manipulate the solar flares!" Sesshi argued back and shot her a golden-eyed glare from over his shoulder at her. In his eyes, she could read what he was really saying... He'd rather fight him in her place, in order to protect her. He'd rather give his own life than to let his lover risk her own...
"Guys, look!" Miroku exclaimed and made all heads look back up at Hateshiganai. The said villain's hands outstretched towards the ground below, allowing streams of black liquid to pour off his own two limbs. A giant puddle formed beneath him and instead of millions of blackened creatures, a much larger version of one of his creatures slowly fazed up from the substance.
A massive black and glossy fist slammed on the ground, causing a short quake to occur from the impact. As gradual as possible, the creature rose from the liquid and... It looked a bit different compared to the others; this one had armor on. It stood to about thirteen 28 feet tall and carried a large greatsword on its back. Everything on it was glossy and pitch black like fresh paint or ink, even the armor, and weapon.
"Go, Sesshomaru!" Obsidian shouted and unfolded his wings, then swatted out his arm to prove he wasn't playing around. His features turned strict, a fierce frown adorned his lips and not only did he swat his arm out to prove his intentions, but he tossed the clawed bracers that Y/N made him over towards Miroku.. "I will fight this beast... Take Y/N to safety and see to it, that she doesn't get harmed on the way...!" he hollered out.
"What the hell are you talking about?! You're fighting that THING?! You'll be killed! Sesshomaru, stop him!" Y/N hollered out and yanked on Sesshi's sleeve more. Only, that caused the lordship to grumble with annoyance and lifted her up in his arms. She squeaked in surprise when he held her securely in his arms in a bridal position. "Sesshomaru, please!" she yelled out once more as he ran away with the others on his tail. (Pft, see what I did there? :P)
"Guys, we need to stop him! Without his weapons he'll die!" she cried out. Sure, he was a perverted bat, but he was still someone who was going to throw his life away for her sake when she isn't strong enough. She couldn't bear the thought of someone dying in her place all because she was too weak to fight her own battles... "No..." she mumbled to herself as she watched Obi's backside grow more distant. Tears brimmed her eyes once her pupils shrunk in fear until she heard Sesshomaru speak up. Those claws had been picked up by Miroku before they took off behind the lordship and followed after.
"He tossed his claws because they would be useless against that creature... Something that big would require a much larger blade to slice off its head or pierce it," He explained and glanced down at her with golden eyes. He was right... Those claws were only meant for creatures that were smaller than that gigantic blobby creature... Her lip quivered and her eyes averted from Obi's backside, then sat up straighter in his arms.
"I just don't want him to die for my sake... He may be a pervert but he'll still be on my conscious if he dies, all because I'm be too weak to fight my own battles!" she clenched her fists and tightly closed her eyes. Tears began to spill from them, Sesshi looked ahead and contemplated for a minute.
"Then get stronger..." he answered. Y/N blinked and looked up in surprise, soon feeling her heartache as though she felt there was no faster way to do so. "I... I love you...and I won't let you fight a battle you aren't prepared for. I wouldn't know what I'd do...if I lost you..." As much as it pained him to admit that, he wanted her to know at least WHY he wouldn't let her fight. Sure she wasn't ready but he needed to give her another reason, too.
Over where Glao and Kurimi were, who still floated in the air, they watched as the others fled except Obsidian. "My dear Nephew, please stand aside!" Kurimi rose her voice and flew a bit closer towards him. What she didn't count on, was for a tiny hand to grasp her bicep. She glanced behind her and saw her master shake his head no.
"The Great Hateshiganai demands that we go hunt them down. He'll prepare an army to run through the streets of this city, he plans on eliminating everyone who lives here...except humans," Glao spoke up and caught her by surprise.
"Except humans? Why?!" Kurimi gawked, only to see him shake his head no again. She clicked her tongue in anger... All of her own kin, her own kind was going to be slaughtered by this...THING?! Her hands clenched tightly to the point that blood drew from her palms and her shoulders shook. Hateshi flew off and opened his palms, facing them towards the ground. She and Glao quickly flew after the rest of the group while their master planted splotches of black liquid all over the city.
(Now it's time for Obsidian's spotlight! Behold, his character theme! Play: Obsidian by Audiomachine! I know, it's ironic isn't it? XD)
"Hmhmhm..." Obsidian chuckled darkly and parted his lips, not once changing his Sebastian smirk. "Now...that everyone is gone..." he chuckled once more before he continued. His wings unfolded and stretched them out to the sides, exposing his frontal features and the fur around his torso. Slowly, with still yet, parted lips, his eyes opened and he revealed white, blind eyes.
Gradually he began to change; his body grew larger in mass and height, standing up to 25 foot tall, and his muscles grew bigger. His face changed, going from normal, to a bat face; ears changed and pointed out like bat ears, his wings grew larger in size and his dark red hair extended down to the middle of his back. His open bat mouth kept that smirk visible, his white, blind eyes remained open and he chuckled darkly. His pants tore apart after his legs got thicker and longer. (First chorus part!) He slowly straightened up and stretched his muscles, making them look defined and intimidating.
Now he just stood there, watching the blackened beast take down its greatsword off its back and swing it at him. With one hand he caught it by the blade and buildings on the other side of him had got smashed by the large wave that came from the sword's thrust. (The Swift part after the chorus!) Over and over the greatsword swung around like paper, making small quakes with each swing. Trails of black streams followed behind its swings and thrusts, like black liquid being swatted around off of a paintbrush or a quill. With one last swing, the beast missed.
Obi had vanished from sight and left the beast to stand there confusedly. (Quiet, plinkety part!) It was looking around for him, many buildings had crumbled down from those simple swings alone and its low grumble resonated throughout the air.
(The four short parts!) When he went to turn around and saw Obi, the scene flashed in and out a few times when Obsidian appeared behind it with an outstretched hand towards its face.
(Epic part!) Its face got grabbed, Obsidian flew harshly through several buildings and other objects in his way. Smashing, breaking past, the creature couldn't get away from Obi's brute force. They zipped through the city, tearing buildings down with great speed, then he chucked the thing into the air. A large sonic boom sounded off after he did that, then he too, took to the sky.
The creature swung its greatsword down and aimed for Obsidian's head, which in his case, nicked him just enough to make an opening. The creature descended, extended his greatsword to an even greater length and pierced Obi's right shoulder.
He cried out in pain as he dove down after the beast when it fell past him. Gritted teeth in view and a hiss from the pain, he stabbed a hole in the thing's chest after catching up to it then gripped on to its face again. Though as he fell, he saw how that thing's black liquid began to coat his arms, making its way up to his body.
When he crashed down on to the ground below, a large crater formed and an earthquake shook the entire area. "AAAAAAAH!" He screamed out, blood flew through the air and the sound of piercing metal echoed. It showed that his entire body was getting covered in that black substance and countless sharp points had stabbed him in various places. The creature couldn't move since Obi was on top of him but it was still able to attack. (Song ends here, hope you liked it. xD)
Suddenly, three or more arrows shot out after the creature and hit its head. Upon impact, the creature's head exploded then not too long after, did its body. Obsidian was frozen in his place, blood drooled down from the crevices of his mouth, and his face was pointing towards the sky. He was in so much pain, he couldn't move nor speak... Whoever saved him, he actually felt the need to owe'em for it. Black liquid pooled beneath him and got mixed in with his own blood, in which streams of it trickled down the deep wounds he received from the beast.
Kagome came rushing over with Inuyasha carrying Rin in his arms and saw Obsidian. He was awestruck and so was his wife, Rin looked so scared out of her mind at seeing such a terrifying thing and a large bat creature in the pool of black. "Obsidian, are you okay?!" Kagome screamed out and rushed over to him, but stopped dead in her tracks when she saw him tip backward. He landed strongly on his back, his mass, 25 foot height, gave him more weight and it caused a slight tremor to occur.
"Kagome, stop! Don't go near him!" Inuyasha hollered out and reached his hand out to her. She did exactly that, she remained in her spot and dropped her jaw in shock.
"He's dying, Inuyasha! We need to treat him! Here, give me Rin! You're the only one right now that can carry him!" She panicked and ran back over to Inu, then soon carried Rin in her arms next.
"Aw, c'mon! You gotta be kidding me!" He exclaimed in anger and grumbled. Reluctantly, he walked over to the batman and leaned over. He took notice of all the deep gashes and wounds he had, then winced as if it were his own... "Damn, no wonder he passed out..." he mumbled and bent over, plopped Obi's torso over his one shoulder and rushed on past Kagome. "I won't run fast, just so that you can keep up!" he yelled out.
"Are you calling me slow!? You better be happy you don't have that necklace on anymore!" She yelled out angrily, referring to the necklace that made him smash into the ground after saying sit boy and ran after her husband. "What was that thing?! Was that the same kind of creature as those things Y/N fought?!" she hollered due to the distance between them and kept on her toes as she ran.
"Hell if I know! If that thing beat up Obsidian and he was my brother's old partner, then I'd be damned if I fight one of those things! I mean, did you even SEE how fast that thing swung its greatsword?!" he replied with a risen, exclaiming voice.
"Yeah, I've never seen anything like that!" Kagome yelled back as they both rushed their way to the palace. They planned on searching for their group since Inu thought the fight was over. Now, he's going back... He was heading back to the palace and planned on hiding Kagome, Rin and the beaten up Obi in the waterways. It was far from over, in fact, it has just begun...
