Lessons In Love: Chapter Eighty-Nine: Bangarang (Part 4)
Clea Strange was resting her feet in a small river. She wandered away from Oshtur's temple for a while, and she was surprised to see that the exterior of it was very green.
She had never been exposed to so many plants and flowers before. The Dark Dimension had it's own version of vegetation, but it was very different from what she was seeing.
She started wondering how Stephen intended to live there with her. They agreed to be there for as long as they could. Clea looked down at her lap and she thought about a few things.
She felt Oshtur leave her temple, and it made Clea quickly turn her head. She stood up and journeyed toward the entity. Oshtur said that she was needed.
Clea felt nervous. She mentioned that she wanted to follow. Oshtur said nothing at first, and the silence made Clea glance down toward her own waist. She always used a spell to hide her condition. She wasn't that far along, and she felt compelled to go.
Oshtur was an entity that had a nurturing soul. She was already very protective of Clea, so she told her that she could tag along.
Steve felt his lungs fill up with a familiar warmth. He had accepted Hoggoth before, once or twice in the past. The fiery beast seemed to ripple over his bones. Steve thought that the entity traveled like lava.
He had to look down at his arms. The sensation of Hoggoth's energy always amazed him. Before Tony handed over his entity, Stephen touched his chest.
He established an entry point for Agamotto. They never let the "problem child" inhabit Steve or Tony before. Stephen took one last look at the situation, and he decided to say something to Steve.
He walked up close and picked up his amulet with his hands. Steve looked down at it, and he kinda figure out what was happening.
"I'm trusting you with everything, Steve. I'm handing it over, only to you."
He trusted Steve to save Tony. He trusted Steve to protect his wife. He also believed that Steve Rogers could take his place, so he could have some sort of chance of having a family.
Stephen S. kept looking at Steven R. They cancelled one another out, and they both stood at equal height. Tony always said that they were like night and day.
Identical opposites. Stephen believed all of that as he stared at Steve. The soldier understood what Stephen was saying. He held a gentle smile and he looked at the green light that began to glow out of the amulet.
Those three babies that were in the mirror dimension watched that glow expand. It got brighter, then in an instant, it was gone. It settled within Steve, as the third entity arrived. Oshtur's energy was a breeze.
Steve was so used to her presence, he thought that she was with him the entire time. Oshtur arrived with Clea, but the group only saw the Sorceress Supreme.
She stopped beside the older Stephen, and he gave her very a sarcastic look. He did not want her to be there, but the two of them would not discuss it.
Roma was giving Uatu and the Inhumans free reign on Tony's body. They claimed to have a way to extract the stones, and their technology had completed its scan. Tony was still under lock and key, and he was waiting to get sliced and diced.
The dream had him completely disassembled. He didn't want that part of the dream to come true, so he kept looking out for his main man.
Roma was in his way. The red barrier was getting thicker, and the view he had of the others was disappearing. Steve also gave the situation one last look, then he turned his focus to Thor.
"May I?"
Steve politely asked him for the shiny hammer. The God of Thunder looked down at his hand. He possessively stared down at Mjolnir, then the mighty blonde loosened up his grip.
Steve gently touched the leather, then he accepted the weapon in his hand. He never wielded the hammer before, but Steve knew it was possible because of his older self.
Roma had just a few seconds. She raised up one arm, because Steve was on top of her shit before she could blink. He brought that hammer down on her wrist. It would have been her head, because he was in that sort of mood..
Her wrist was covered with a gold bangle. She struggled beneath Mjolnir. The bangle began to shift over her skin, and she thought that she heard it break.
Steve added more pressure on her arm. The soldier even forced energy out of that hammer. It travelled through him and cast that red barrier away. Roma's defense was cancelled out. She looked behind her and almost fell back.
Uatu and the Inhumans stopped what they were doing. They looked at Steve as he brought Thor's hammer down to his side. He planned to attack them next, but the older Stephen's voice brought him out of his thought.
"Any discrepancy with the Infinity Stones is brought before the Living Tribunal. He will take one look at this, and settle it. Tony will either live or die, it's not up to you."
Stephen knew the rules. He followed the jurisdiction lines very carefully, and Roma was out of line. Steve knew nothing about Living Tribunals. He just walked up to Tony and broke those chains off his arms and chest.
Steve didn't like seeing him in them. It took him back to something that he didn't like to remember. Steve was not in the mood for Tribunal discussions, or anymore parlor tricks. The soldier held an angry expression.
Tony saw that expression as his arms were forced free. Steve threw the chains toward Roma, and he inspected Tony's chest.
The younglings continued to watch. They saw the older Steve shut that shit down, then he moved on like nothing happened. They witnessed an intense amount of energy leave the older Steve's body.
It was like a bomb dropped on Roma and it blew away everything she had packing. Baby Stephen and Baby Tony both took turns glancing over at Baby Steve. They never saw that side of him, and now they had a glimpse of what to expect.
They waited for the older Tony to say something. He was in hot water, so they all individually wondered what he had to say. The older brunette kept quiet. Steve finished inspecting him, and the soldier slowly turned to give Thor back his hammer.
The older Stephen mentioned something else about the Living Tribunal, and Tony's judgement happening in an instant.
The younglings wanted to know more. They all listened and watched eagerly. But the older Stephen no longer wanted them to see. He decided to send them somewhere safe, until the judgement on the older Tony was complete.
That stupid mirror sphere shot back off through multiple portals again. Baby Tony started screaming, and he grabbed one arm and one leg.
He couldn't tell who was who, because the kaleidoscope shit started up again, and Baby Tony couldn't see jack shit.
