The thief who practiced magic and Demitrious kneeled in front of The Sorceress.
The Sorceress was furious about the situation. Everything was going out of control as many eggs were already lost, "The dragons are here and none of you could stop them!" she walked on the side and grunted, "You!" she pointed her scepter at the Rhynoc, "You lost one of our most powerful Beast! That thing is the main reason that damn Realm filled with those disgusting humans aren't doing anything here! It's in ruin and no one can fix it!"
"It's not my fault if the dragons managed to destroy it. They didn't know anything about it!" he bowed in front of her and whined when he was hit on the head.
"And they got more eggs! You know the realm will die without dragons!" The Sorceress reminded them. She hit the Rhynoc once again, "That damn human president. That filthy one."
"W-what is it?" the thief took the risk to ask.
"Well Bianca, those humans are surely sent by that president! That Richard sent them to ruin the realm. I told him that I found humans there and he dares to sass me with a: 'I cannot keep an eye on every human you know. This is a free realm. None of them are under my commands.' And he said that those spies are just a bunch of popular actors!"
"I will not fail you again oh Sorceress!" he hit his head on the ground.
She replied, "Do not fail me again, or you will regret it," she turned towards Bianca, "As for you, stop that little purple dragon from taking away any more eggs! Destroy him in any way you can! Just let him live a little. Those other dragons will surrender if we get that little one. Bring this Rhynoc with you. Capture the purple dragon or kill him. Use the spell I taught you," she threw a spellbook at her.
Bianca grabbed it and hesitated to reply. She wanted to get rid of the annoying dragon, but actual murder. It was too cruel, "K-kill?," she asked.
"Yes! If he is too much trouble to use as a hostage against the other dragons kill him! I don't care how! I want them dead!" she pointed her scepter at her servant, "Understood?"
"Yes," She replied before using her magic to teleport away with the Rhynoc.
Chapter 34: Beware In Buzz Dungeon
Spyro and his friends reached a portal. The message was a little strange as the purple one read it, "Buzz Dungeon?"
"Yeah. It isn't a big dungeon, as long as you don't get lost. It might be tricky and dangerous in there," Sheila warned them as she hopped near it, "I don't know why it's called that way, but let's be careful."
The group jumped into the portal and went on the other side.
They were now in a cave with hot lava surrounding them. The rocks seemed to be made of black rocks. The top was covered with Stalactite. They noticed far away a large platform that seemed to be made of another type of rock. It looks like it was of silver color or gray. They couldn't be sure. The platform was surrounded with lava, making it dangerous to fell down in the lava.
Hunter cleaned his forehead, "This place is really hot. We should get out of here soon."
"It's hotter than before. I think its temperature is increasing for a century, based on the note I found. Less magic might have done that," Sheila took the lead.
"Magic is really important here," Zoe commented as she followed them.
"It is a little hot," the purple dragon admitted.
Sparx just stood on the horn of his best friend. He felt like he might melt if they stayed for too long. He panted a little and buzzed at his friend that they should hurry up.
"Don't worry," Spyro began as he gave a reassuring smile, "It won't be long before we find the other portal."
"It's a small place. It's just between the two realms," Sheila explained as she hopped forward.
"Good thing this is a small one, because I'm getting wet and it isn't because of some rain," Hunter grumbled.
"I wish that magic would have made this an easier journey," Zoe landed on the head of Hunter. It was a little too much, even for the fairy.
They reached the platform. Spyro jumped first on it when suddenly, a magic barrier appeared around them, "W-what?"
"You won't go anywhere else purple dragon," the familiar voice of the thief came.
The others tried to enter in it. They noticed that Bianca was at the other side of the barrier with a Rhynoc by her side.
"Thief!" Spyro grunted as he tried to tackle the barrier, it didn't work. He touched it, but his natural magic wasn't disturbing it.
"This is over Spyro," the thief told them as she held a wand. On her hand, she held an egg that seemed to shine a little more.
"She is using the magic of the dragon in the egg Spyro!" Zoe yelled.
"Stop it! You are hurting my brother or sister!" the purple dragon asked.
She opened a hole in the barrier. The Rhynoc hesitated for a moment before he finally jumped in. He landed in front of the purple dragon and gulped as he had heard that the child had beaten a few of his kind.
"A Rhynoc? He even looks like a gardener. Not a warrior. Is that all you have left here?" the youngling asked confidently.
"The Sorceress personally wanted him to fight you dragon," Bianca replied with a tone that let them know that something was planned. Although, if she was honest, it barely made sense to ask for a gardener to fight a youngling. She began to wave her wand, "I just need to cast this spell as she said."
"That's enough!" Hunter pointed his bow in the air and fired.
The thief yelped and dodged the arrow at the last second, "That won't stop me," she began casting her spell based on what was written on her book.
The cheetah knew he couldn't pull this up another time. He gazed down and saw that his friend was ready to fight with his dragonfly companion by his side.
The Rhynoc was running away from the purple dragon and panicked, "Hurry!" he cried and jumped when fire missed him at the last second, "I prefer fighting flowers over a dragon!"
Sheila looked around and tried to find a way or anything to help. She didn't like what would happen soon.
Bianca casted her spell and it hit the Rhynoc. The creature was on the ground and he painfully grunted.
Spyro stopped and took a step back. There was something wrong with the situation. He didn't like this. His instinct was telling him that it was wrong.
The thief who casted the spell put her hand over her mouth, "W-what is that spell?"
The others heard her except Spyro who was too disturbed by what he was witnessing. The youngling closed his eyes. He didn't want to see more of that.
Bianca was horrified by what she had done. She gazed at her wand, "W-what did I do?"
Once the sound of horror coming form the Rhynoc was over, the purple dragon dared to look at it. He watched it with horror as the creature in front of him was completely different.
It was now a huge great beast with cream colored underbelly, larger lime eyes, and large teeth. On his back fin-shaped, running across at the end of his tail tip.
"What have you done to him?" Zoe asked furiously. It was a despicable kind of magic to body-change anything. She wanted to cast a spell on the thief now, but saw her with a book opened.
"I can fix this. I can fix this!" Bianca said as she searched for a way to reverse the spell.
The fairy heard that. Right now, she knew that something was going on, but now wasn't the time for that. She wasn't the only one who heard that. Hunter and Sheila had really good hearings too.
The monster named Buzz looked at Spyro and showed his fangs.
"Guess I have to fight… that," the dragon said.
Sparx quickly told him to be careful. It was something they never faced before. He explained further that magic transformation was in the play and not just a minion sent against them.
"Right," the youngling nodded. He prepared to fight the monster that was a once a gardener. He was uncertain what to call it. He decided to call it Buzz, as it was the name of the dungeon. He would never say it out loud. He scratched the ground as he prepared to charge.
He rushed forward as he aimed at Buzz. He dropped his head and closed the distance.
His dragonfly yelled at him to jump.
"W-" he saw the monster opening his mouth and breath fire. The purple dragon jumped over it and landed on the ground. He rolled on the left and avoided the tail at the last second. He quickly rushed away from the monster as fireballs came towards it. He quickly ran on the side, trying to find a way to get to the offensive, "Okay. I need a way to attack him."
He jumped over a fire wall and panted. His legs were shaking a little. This was more intense than anything he faced before. It was as if he was confronting Ripto from the start, "Okay. This is more intense than I thought. I'm a little out of shape buddy," he avoided more attacks coming at him. He saw the monster rolling towards him and yelled. He ran away as quickly as he could while the thing was closing on him, "Is it because of what I did to you before?"
Sheila knew that Spyro really needed help and searched around for a way. She looked at Bianca once again and noticed that the hole was still open. She could jump in and helped Spyro. She quickly hopped towards the other side. Making sure that she wasn't noticed. Once she was certain she could jump to the corner of the barrier, she jumped above the barrier and landed on the other side. She continued and did the same. She passed in front of the thief who kept searching for a way to turn the spell back to normal.
Sheila jumped in the platform. She landed on the ground and was ready to help Spyro, "I'm here! We will beat him together!"
The purple dragon flew in the air from a hit and rolled on the ground as if he was a purple ball. He stopped and his eyes were spinning, "G-great."
Spark flew by his side and thanked her for coming there. He looked up and the hole in the barrier was finally closed.
"Anyway, I won't let you fight that alone. Not sure when that spellcaster would turn him back to normal," the kangaroo replied before jumping away when the monster came at them.
The purple jumped on the side and stood on his feet. He looked at the green scaly monster and quickly dashed, "Why?"
"She didn't even know that the spell would do that," Sheila replied as she hopped over the monster that tried to roll over her. She flipped and landed back on her feet.
"Any idea?" the youngling asked.
"We need to stop him from moving," she replied. She yelped, "Look out!"
The dragon jumped on the side and avoided the monster from rolling over him. He dashed on the left as the green thing tried to pick which of them to attack.
"Careful Spyro!" Hunter yelled at them.
Spyro gave back attention to the thing coming at him. He scratched the ground and charged with everything he got.
"Spyro!" Sheila yelled at him when he was doing something stupid.
The purple dragon charged with everything he had. He ducked just a little when the monster came at him and tackled the monster. He managed to push him away towards the end of the platform. He waited no second and used his chance to repeat that. He pushing him in the lava and yelled painfully.
Buzz jumped out of the lava and felt on the ground, shaken by it. Sheila jumped in the air and ground-pounded him. She didn't knock him out, but he lost his balance.
"Spyro, try to just make him fall. Not really on the lava thought," she told him.
"Yeah. I could kill him," the purple dragon realised. That was not something he wanted to do. He prepared to dash as he avoided more attacks coming at him. He avoided the fire ball as he jumped above a wall of fire.
His purple paws slid on the ground as he took the offensive. He avoided another attack coming at him and tackled the chest of Buzz. He broke the monster balance, but it didn't fall on the ground.
Sheila took her chance and jumped in the air and ground pounded the monster.
The thing eyes were spinning slowly as they were a little confused.
The youngling didn't waste a second and tackled it again, making the once Rhynocs tripped and felt on the ground. He panted quietly as he tried to get back his breath.
Spyro breath fire, but it wasn't effective.
The battle went on as Hunter watched the fight advancing, he was uncertain. His friend and the kangaroo were managing to defend themselves fairly well against the monster who charged at them. He was biting his claws as the battle continued to progress. He wondered if there was anything he could do. He couldn't go in there to help them. He was slower and weaker than his friends. His eyes searched for something to do.
"There's nothing we can do for now," Zoe commented as she tapped the palm of her hand with her wand. She wanted to cast a spell to end this fight, but she had nothing. She needed the spell book, but the other was using it to search for a way to reverse it.
"…Maybe I can try something," the cheetah said as he quietly went away, to the confusion of the fairy.
The purple dragon was tackled once again and rolled on the ground. He painfully grunted when his side hurt. He jumped on the side and avoided to be crushing under the weight of the thing. He took his chance as the monster stopped rolling and hit him in the back.
Sheila smirked, "Time to end this!" she jumped as high as he could and ground pounded the monster.
This time, Buzz was on the ground and knocked out.
Spyro and her panted as it was over, "Thanks for the help."
"We are allies and here to save your family," she replied. She gave a thumbs up.
"And thanks for your help too buddy," he raised his fist and fist bumped with his best friend Sparx.
The dragonfly gasped and pointed at the monster who was already about to stand up.
Both Spyro and Sheila stomped at the monster and made sure he wouldn't wake up. The two sighed as it was finally over, or so they hoped.
Bianca found the spell. She casted it and pointed it at the monster. She casted it and it returned to the gardened Rhynoc, who was still knocked out. She cleaned her forehead and sighed, "I did it," she was reassured.
The barrier was suddenly gone. She wondered what happened and saw Hunter running away with the egg, "Sorry miss, but this egg is coming back to its home!"
"You!" she was about to cast something, but Zoe blocked it.
She pointed her wand and said, "You've lost."
Sheila and Spyro jumped and were surrounding her.
She looked at both of them and at the Rhynoc. She grunted and replied, "It's not over!" she casted a spell and the two disappeared.
The purple dragon sighed and let out a small smile, "Thanks for the help."
"No problem," she replied.
They decided to do the same as before. They sent the egg back to its home.
Hunter smiled, "That was a lucky chance! Anyway, I'm glad you two are fine. I thought you would be really hurt."
Spark flew towards his friend and landed on his horn. He complained it was too hot for him.
"Yeah, it might be better that we leave soon. I forgot how hot it was," the cheetah remembered.
"Let's go," the kangaroo guided them towards the portal.
They approached it and stood in front of it.
"Okay. It's time to go," the purple dragon declared as he turned towards Sheila, "Thanks for your help."
"No problem. We are all in this together," Sheila replied. She put her hands before her head, "I will continue to search for missing eggs. You should go on."
"Okay," Spyro nodded as he jumped in the portal.
The dragonfly and the fairy followed him. Hunter waved at her and jumped in the portal, leaving Sheila behind.
"I guess I have to find Flame too," she thought back. She hoped he didn't take the portal to reach another realm.
AC: This is the end of this chapter. I hope you enjoyed it.
Next: Tearful Night
The night came as Nestor and his group crossed path with Sheila as they prepared for the night. A special encounter, followed by a dream would bring tears.
