Can you believe that Jane and Maura have been married for 30 chapters now? Happy anniversary kids lol This chapter is one of my favorites even though it's kinda stressful at times but the Rizzles moments are always worth it. Anyways enjoy!

The next morning Maura had gotten released from the hospital and Jane took her home. They sat in the car in silence, listening to a song on the radio.

"Are we doing okay today?" Maura looked over to her wife, who had her eyes closed, she didn't sleep a wink when Maura was in the hospital.

"Hmm, yeah I'm just a little tired. Shouldn't I be asking you that question?"

"You could have slept in the hospital you know. I wasn't going to go anywhere, plus I'm fine, I'm more worried about you," she reached over and grabbed Jane's hand, playing with her fingers. "I realize what you have to do today and I'm not exactly sure how she's going to react. Her reaction is what bothers you. It's what's causing you to stress."

"Sometimes it's scary that you know how I'm feeling, what I'm thinking. She just got out of the hospital yesterday, what if this causes her to go back. I know he treated her like shit, but they spent more than 30 years together," Jane pulled her hand away from Maura's to run it over her face in frustration. "Can't we just not tell her? Tell her maybe after Julian is born?"

"That's like four months away, do you think it's just not going to be brought up? Can you even hold a secret for four months?" Maura raised her brow and Jane sighed.

"I know it'll be damn near impossible. You just can't hide things from her," she looked out of the window, it was a really gloomy day today, it seemed to fit the atmosphere. Maura pulled up in their driveway.

"You ready?" she asked and Jane shook her head.

"I don't think I could ever be ready for this conversation with Ma," Jane slid out of the car and Maura rushed over to her side, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"Hey, you might want to sit in your chair."

"Fuck the chair Maura, I'm fine, just come on," Jane hobbled up to the porch, a little out of breath.

"Jane, you don't have to act so tough around me, I swear it will only take a moment to..." she got cut off by Jane's irritated tone.

"Maura, I said I'm fine!" Jane opened the front door and went inside, a look of worry on Maura's face, matching Angela's on the couch.

"Is everything alright?" Angela asked, getting up from the couch to greet Maura with a hug. "Why does it seem like there's always someone in the hospital. I swear we should have our own ward dedicated for Rizzoli, Isles and family. Why would someone hurt you?" Angela looked at Maura's face, frowning at the bruises on her neck.

"Ma, you should probably sit down."

Angela looked up at Jane in confusion, she didn't like that tone on Jane right now, the we need to talk because it's important tone. Angela complied and sat down, Maura sat next to her on the couch.

"Who hurt you Maura?" she asked in concern, Maura sighed, resting her hand on Angela's.

"Frank hurt me..." Maura said so softly you almost couldn't hear her speak.

"Why would Frank hurt you, how did you even find Frank? Do you know who took him in? After he asked me for help I blew him off and figured he'd find some bimbo to stay with. That girl Lydia did it, didn't she?"

"Ma, can you please?" Jane warned her, sitting down on the recliner as Maura went over her story of what exactly went on. Maura's story ended with her saying how everything faded to black before noticing how Angela was crying.

"Oh my... Maura I didn't know what he was capable of. How-why would he hurt you? How could he be so evil? Bringing up Hoyt after knowing how mouch it destroyed Jane's life. You must have be terrified," she pulled her daughter in law close to her, rubbing her arm gently. "He's going back to jail right? He should have never been released, if I could give those prison officials a piece of my mind."

Jane sighed, running fingers through her hair, "Ma, he's not going back to prison."

"Wait, what do you mean? He attempted to kill Maura and he just gets off. What is wrong with this damn judicial system?" Angela tried to get up but Maura shook her head, the look the woman gave her made her really concerned.

"Ma, he's not coming back... he's dead..." Jane got out, wiping away the tears in her eyes. Why did saying that have her so emotional.

"Wait, he's dead?" she turned to Maura. "I thought you passed out and couldn't fight back?"

Jane shook her head, "Lydia stabbed him, but he also sort of had a stroke during the whole thing, according to the medical examiner."

"I never liked that blonde bitch, she's the reason for this whole mess, the reason Maura went to take her home, the reason Frank hurt Maura... the whole reason he's dead," Angela got up from the couch shaking her head as she headed into the kitchen. Jane and Maura looked at each other, and Jane got up to comfort her mother. "When I said I wanted him to burn in Hell I didn't think he'd end up dead. I didn't think this would happen..." Angela tried to steady her breathing. "He broke my heart on so many occassions, and he tried to take your wife away from you. I should be glad he's gone, but we did spend so many years together."

Jane pulled her mother close, "Hey, it's okay, whatever you're feeling. I'm here for you alright? We're all here for you, did you want to go pay your respects or something?"

Angela shook her head, "I can't go see him Jane, I can't just witness how he is. He left me Jane, he tore our family apart, he did so many horrible things... but he was my husband for over 30 years. He gave me three beautiful children that I would give my own life for, it's a shame he wasn't willing to do the same. I'm so sorry he turned out to be this monster willing to hurt you, to hurt any of my children."

"Did you want Maura to take you home to Vince?" Jane asked, pulling back slightly to look at her mother who nodded. "Alright Ma, it's going to be okay in the end, right?"

Angela nodded, wiping her eyes, "Yeah... how are your brothers feeling about all of this?"

"Frankie has so much anger about him that he's going to be fine with this. Tommy I'm not sure, weren't you able to see him last night? He said he went to go be with you and Frost last night."

Angela shook her head, "Not to my recollection, Frost is still here too, he and the twins went to go feed your tortoise."

"Wait, then where's Tommy?" Jane asked, on high alert about the situation. "Let me call him, you let Maura take you home, I'll keep you updated," she kissed her cheek before heading in the back, pulling out her phone. Tommy's phone rang, but she got no answer. "Fuck." Jane muttered, dialing Frankie's number. "Frankie! Have you heard from Tommy?" she asked before he could even greet her.

"No Jane, why are you yelling? Tommy is a big boy, he'll be fine. I'm sure he's with Frost or something," he muttered, Jane sighed, it sounded like her brother just woke up.

"Frost is here and Tommy isn't, Ma said he didn't come here last night like he told Korsak."

"Jane, he'll be fine. Don't worry about it," Frankie groaned.

"Are you hungover Frankie?" Jane questioned.

"No, I just had a long evening is all," was his response, Jane heard someone in the background. "Frankie, you should go help find Tommy, I can hear Jane's panic through your phone." Jane really didn't need to know that Crowe was with Frankie. "Fine. Jane, I'll be there as soon as I can. I know you aren't cleared to drive yet. Just don't throw a fit, he's probably just at his place, passed out from drinking."

"Just get here Frankie, you don't sound so concerned."

"He's fine Jane, it's Tommy... he'll be fine. Bye now. See you in a bit," he grumbled before hanging up.

Jane shook her head, going to sit on the porch to wait for Frankie. When her brother arrived, she rolled her eyes seeing Crowe in the car with him. "Seriously?" she got up and hobbled over to the car, getting into the backseat. "Why is Crowe with you?"

"Well I have to drop him off, his car is at the Dirty Robber, it was either drop him off first, or go while we get to Tommy's. It wouldn't make sense to drive past Maura's to get to the Robber before picking you up."

"Frankie, I don't think you quite understand the urgency of our situation. Frank is dead and Tommy isn't answering his phone, it's taking everything in my soul to not think of anything negative happening to him," Jane leaned back against the backseat as Frankie drove them to the Dirty Robber.

"Thanks for the ride Rizzoli," Crowe nodded, opening the passenger car door, turning for a moment. "I do hope that Tommy is alright."

"I told you he's fine," Frankie waved off his concern. "You two are stressing too much, he wouldn't do anything stupid to let Frost be alone again."

Crowe shared a glance with Jane, who huffed, this was taking too long. Jane groaned in disgust when Crowe leaned over to give Frankie a kiss before leaving the car.

"Crowe did that shit on purpose. Can we please focus on our missing brother."

Frankie shook his head, "He's fine, I don't know how many times I need to tell you."

"I think that's denial Frankie speaking, just drive," she demanded and Frankie did what he was told heading to Tommy's house.

"See Jane, his car is here, that means he's home."

"Not exactly," Jane got out of the car and went to go knock on Tommy's door, when there was no response. She tried to open the door and it was unlocked she stepped inside, she went to inspect the house, Tommy's phone and keys were on the counter and he was nowhere in his house.

Frankie ended up coming inside when Jane took longer than he thought was necessary. "Jane, is he here or not?"

"No he's not, Frankie something happened to him, I can feel it. And it's not a good feeling," Jane sat down, "I knew he shouldn't have gone anywhere alone."

"He wouldn't just abandon us, abandon Frost..." Frankie was honestly freaked out at this point, he jumped hearing Tommy's cell phone ring. "I'll get it," Frankie picked up the phone and looked at the I.D. It was Cailin. "Cailin?" he asked and Jane looked up hearing her name. "He is. Thank God, why did he come to you? Okay me and Jane will be right there." He hung up and Jane was already standing next to him. "He's alive Jane, Cailin said she found him passed out on her back porch swing this morning, she was trying to help sober him up."

"Why on Earth would he go to Cailin and Hope's house?" Jane asked as they headed back to Frankie's car.

"I don't know but we can ask him when we get there," Frankie shook his head as they drove to the Martin house in silence. Jane was concerned about her brother, hoping that he didn't do anything to ruin his relationship with Frost. Two unstable people together usually caused for trouble.

When they arrived at the house, Tommy was sitting on the porch steps next to Cailin, who was looking at him in concern. Jane and Frankie had gotten out the car and walked up to approach the two. Tommy knew neither of them was pleased.

"What the hell man?" Frankie shouted.

"Can you please not yell? I have a killer headache right now," Tommy rubbed his temples.

"He wouldn't tell me what was wrong, why he drank or why he ended up here. But I can promise that nothing happened, I found him this morning, who knows how long he was passed out for," Cailin looked up at the two, more towards Frankie, she didn't know how she felt about Jane being here. She hasn't seen her since her confession about two weeks ago.

"Come on Tommy, we'll take you home," Frankie all but yanked Tommy up from the porch.

"Hey I'll be right there, okay?" Jane looked at her two brothers who nodded before heading to the car. She turned to look at Cailin. "So, he didn't tell you anything about why he was shit faced? And you're absolutely positive nothing happened?"

"Jane we both know I wouldn't take advantage of your brother, wasn't it at one point you were afraid he'd take advantage of me?"

"I don't know what to believe anymore when it comes out of your mouth. Thanks for being smart to call Tommy's phone, we were looking for him at his house when it went off."

Cailin nodded, "I just wish we could talk like we used to Jane. I noticed that you're not in your wheelchair anymore, I take it you're healing pretty well."

"Yeah, minus the turn of events of my life."

"Jane I'm sorry for whatever pain I caused you and Maura."

"You think a little highly of yourself there, thinking you could cause us any pain," Jane crossed her arms. "We're stronger than that you know. Enjoy your life Cailin. I hope therapy treats you well."

"I really am sorry though Jane," Cailin shoved her hands in her pockets. "Goodbye Jane," she turned on her heel and went inside closing the door a little hard behind her. Jane gave her head a shake before heading back to Frankie's car.

Tommy was in the backseat laying down, a blanket covering his face. "Did he tell you why he ended up at Cailin's?"

"Just said he felt like she was the only one he could talk to, but then he passed out. I called Ma and told her Tommy was fine and Frost was kind of freaking out when I called to update him," Frankie looked at his brother in the backseat. "I was dumb to think that he was okay. I was definitely scared when we couldn't find him."

"You tried to act so tough, you know something's up when you act like everything is okay when it's pretty obvious that it's not."

"How did Ma take the news about Frank?"

"Not the best, but she didn't have a panic attack or get worked up too much. I think Tommy has taken it the worst of all. Well you seem to be doing some pretty weird shit too. I thought you and Crowe weren't... you know."

Frankie shook his head at his sister's concern, "And I thought you weren't going to judge my decisions?"

"I just, hearing him in the background on your phone and then you just blantantly ignoring the fact that Tommy's life could have been in danger. It was quite concerning, it is quite concerning. You usually put your family first."

"Yeah and putting family first often left me feeling miserable. I want to be happy and I'm finding myself being really into Crowe and I wish you could accept that. He's the only light in my life right now, he was there for me finding out Frank was dead. He didn't judge me for how I was acting, he just listened. Can't you just do that, just listen?" Frankie raised his voice slightly, causing Tommy to groan in the backseat.

"I am listening Frankie. It's just odd seeing you with Crowe, you might be used to it and him now, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. I'm glad that he's been here with you through a hard time. I want to be there too, we're family and we really need to be there for each other."

"What for, Frank's dead, Ma and Tommy will get over it eventually. He was a horrible man and he got what happened to him."

Jane nodded, "I know, I just I never heard you sound so bitter before."

"Well from here on out how about we just don't mention him at all anymore," Frankie turned on the radio and Jane sighed.

"Fine, I will still be concerned about your well-being, alright? Can I still be concerned for you?" Jane asked and Frankie nodded.

"Yeah, you have no reason to be though, things are fine. It's all going to be fine," he repeated before pulling into Maura and Jane's driveway.

"Frankie, I thought we were taking Tommy home?" Jane looked over at him, confused on why Frankie stopped here.

"Do you honestly trust him to handle being home alone at a time like this?" Frankie asked and Jane shook her head.

"No, no I don't, but you'll have to walk him inside. I'm still healing."

"I know that you are Jane, he's like dead weight though, can't you bring your wheelchair down?"

"Just drag him out of your car if you have to, it's not like he'll feel worse than he does right now," Jane glanced at her brother in the backseat, as he shifted slightly.

"I can hear you both, you realize this right?"

"Then you get your ass inside the house," Jane tugged him by the arm and out of the car.

"Hey, why are you so aggressive?" Tommy whined.

"You scared the living shit out of me you know. Seeing your keys, car and phone at home but you were nowhere in sight. Apparently you only thought of yourself last night and I was already having a shitty day, so thanks," Jane grumbled, heading inside, greeting Frost who was coming outside, he didn't look pleased. "Hey Frost, we found your lover boy," she patted his back.

Frost nodded, "Yeah I see that, is he feeling well?"

"He seems to be walking fine, are you okay?" Jane asked in concern.

"Oh I will be," Frost watched as Tommy came onto the porch.

"Frost, hey..." Tommy smiled at the man, he tried to kiss Frost but what happened next surprised all of the Rizzoli siblings. Frost slapped Tommy in the face. "What the hell?" Tommy asked holding his cheek.

"You know what that was for," Frost shook his head and went back inside. Jane and Frankie shared a look, and Jane followed after Frost.

"Well that was unexpected. Frost I thought you said you were okay?"

"Frankie calls me to say that Tommy got so drunk last night that he ended up at Cailin's house. Tommy didn't come to me, he went to her... I didn't think he'd stoop so low as to... after all we've been through lately..."

"They said nothing happened though."

"Do you honestly believe that? Believe that Cailin wasn't just saying that to give you a response that would please you?"

"I don't believe Cailin but I believe Tommy. Why he didn't go to talk to you I have no idea, but he's been making you so happy lately. He wouldn't want to fuck it up. He loves you, I know that he does. Maybe he will talk to you about how he was feeling. I'm sure after that slap you gave him he'd want to explain himself. I think you guys need to talk, he found out the man he admired most of his life is dead... the only one who he can actually open up to is you. Just talk to him, okay? I'll even let you discuss it in the guest house."

At this point Tommy walked into the room and looked to Frost. "Can we talk?" he asked quietly, still rubbing his cheek.

"Yeah I think it's best, then maybe I'll apologize for slapping you," he grabbed him by the arm and they headed to the guest house.

Frankie stood next to Jane, "Hey since we found our brother I need to get to work," he patted her shoulder. "Are you going to be alright?"

"Yeah I am, are you?"

"Yeah, don't worry about me, I'm..."

"If you say the word fine again I'm going to smack you."

"Not as hard as Frost smacked Tommy I'd hope," Frankie laughed. "Hey Maura, twins," he greeted the three who entered the house as he was leaving.

"Hi Uncle Frankie," the twins greeted giving him a hug. Maura walked over to Jane and greeted her with a kiss.

"What's this about Frost smacking Tommy?" she asked.

"Tommy scared the shit out of him. Fear turned to anger, you know the whole thing that happens, Frost is definitely a Rizzoli. He's one of us now."

"You seem so proud of that."

"Yeah I finally have a brother that I actually want," Jane grinned and Maura shook her head.

"Sometimes I worry about you."

"Yeah," Jane pulled Maura close. "I did want to apologize for yelling at you about the wheelchair thing earlier."

"It's okay I know you are capable of doing things on your own now. I was just worried."

"It's strange you know," Jane nudged her nose against Maura's. "You worried about me when you were the recent one in the hospital."

"Yeah well it's the job of a wife to be worried about her partner," Maura lifted her hand to stroke Jane's cheek before moving in for a kiss, nipping at her lips. Jane's hands went to Maura's hips.

"Um Maura... Jane... we're still here," Kate tugged at their shirts, causing Jane and Maura to pull away from their moment, both blushing.

"Yeah of course you're both still here," Jane kneeled down. "Kissing Maura makes Jane feel much better. Don't you want Jane to feel happy?"

"Yeah but we're just kids and we're hungry."

Jane smiled, "Alright you win this argument. Food sounds good about now. Why don't you two find something on TV or something to read, and Maura and I can make some sandwiches?"

"You sure we can trust that you guys are making lunch?" Todd asked and Jane smirked.

"Now why would I delay eating time? You can trust me right?"

"Okay," Todd grinned and went to the couch with his sister to find something on TV. Jane grabbed Maura by the hand, walking her into the kitchen.

"Are you going to behave yourself while we make lunch for the twins?" Jane asked getting out bread and some sandwich meat.

"Yeah, I can behave myself, can't you?"

Jane nodded, "Yeah, until they are distracted then maybe Frost and Tommy could watch them while we have some alone time."

"We can't always pawn the twins off to the most available people. I think we should have a nice family day," Maura smiled and Jane nodded, not without offering a slight groan.

"Fine, but that's only because I should still get some rest, plus that appointment is coming up soon. See if I'm all made and prepped for having children."

Maura laughed at her choice of words, "Well you don't have to be prepped for a while, you still need clearance to do all your normal activities again, like driving and running, and sexual activities. We all know you have a pretty good sex drive. I'm sure you have a great uterus fit for having children, as many as you'd like for us to have."

"I think we'll just stick to having one baby. Is that fine by you?" Jane put the sandwiches on plates.

"Yeah one baby is fine, but just know if you wanted more in the future, I'd be okay with it."

"Well I'll keep that in mind, just let's not get our hopes up. We still need to find out if I can have any at all." Jane mentioned with a slight frown.

"Hey," Maura rested a hand on her arm. "It'll be good news, I can feel it. Jane you'll get to carry a baby, I promise. Jane Rizzoli-Isles can do anything, you're like Super Woman."

"I always thought I was more of a Wonder Woman type."

"Well you always make me wonder," Maura patted Jane's ass. "Now let's go feed those kids. Are Frost and Tommy going to join us?"

"I hate to say it but I don't think they're going to be coming inside anytime soon. If you catch my drift..."

"You really think they'd be... in our guest house? With Chad in there with them?"

"Well I never thought that Frost would ever slap Tommy, or thought that Tommy would want to settle down finally, so I honestly can't be surprised by anything those two do together." Jane said right before she seen them exit the guest house, both looked calm and pleased. "Told you," she gave a nod to the boys entering the kitchen. "Tommy you really should fix your hair," Jane raised a brow before going to gather the kids for lunch.

"I take it that you two are good now? I heard about that little incident."

"Yeah we're more than okay now, just needed to give Tommy a good talking to," Frost squeezed Tommy's arm, Maura noticed the secretive look that they shared with each other.

"Anything that I should know about?"

"Don't sound so suspicious Maura," Tommy smiled patting her arm, his head still hurt but things were going to be okay. Frost and Tommy had a really good talk. "Can we join you guys for lunch? I'm starving which is weird since I think I'm still hungover."

"Yeah which we are going to stop trying to be. I much prefer sober Tommy," Frost told him. "You go sit down I'll make us a sandwich, okay?"

"Yes sir," he saluted before patting him on the butt and going to join Jane and the twins at the table.

"So, what are you and Tommy hiding?" Maura asked.

"Why would you think we're hiding something?" Frost asked in response as he started to gather things for his and Tommy's sandwich.

"Well you slapped him, yet you're both smiling now and I just find it odd that's all," Maura shrugged.

"You don't need to worry Maura, I promise it's nothing. We just had a talk and have a new understanding of each other," Frost insisted it was nothing.

"Okay, well if you do want to talk I'm here for you. Both of you. I am glad he has a person like you in his life to keep him in the right track. You've always been my favorite person. Well if we don't include Jane in the mix."

"I know and I thank you for it. I always talk to Jane more than you though, but we can work on that. You are my favorite person too, don't let Tommy or Jane know," Frost smiled as he plated the sandwiches. "Let's go join the others for lunch now, shall we?" Maura just nodded, as they joined the others at the table. Frost sitting next to Todd, per his request and Maura sitting in her usual spot next to Jane. Everything felt pretty normal.

The next day was the day Jane has been waiting for, she was anxious and excited. Nervous but she felt good. Maura was making brunch, the twins were picked up by Korsak about an hour ago, they were going to be hanging out at his and Angela's house for the majority of the day. Later he along with Frost and Tommy were going to the Red Sox game with the twins while Frankie hung out with Angela, Jane thought someone should be using the season tickets. Her and Maura planned to take the twins tomorrow to a game.

Jane was dressed for the day, coming into the kitchen, wrapping her arms around Maura from behind, she pressed a soft kiss to Maura's cheek. "Hey."

"Hey, you seem to be in a great mood," Maura leaned into her.

"Well why wouldn't I be? We have the house to ourselves and you're making brunch, which smells good by the way," Jane smiled, reaching over to grab the spatula and flipping over the pancake. Jane pulled away from Maura and went to pour herself a cup of coffee. "So you excited about the appointment? I'm sort of excited and just a little bit scared it's not going to be good news."

"Yeah I'm excited for you, for us, and I think it's going to go quite well," Maura reassured Jane, putting the finished pancake on the plate for Jane. "There's the bacon still cooking in the oven, I'll bring it over to you when it's done."

"I can wait for you," Jane sipped her coffee, before resuming her spot, behind Maura, helping her with the next pancake. "Plus I kind of like this thing we got going on here," she pressed a kiss to Maura's jaw. "I like being close to you," she whispered, her lips nipping at Maura's ear.

"You just want to distract me," Maura moaned. "You want to eat don't you?"

"Yeah of course, I am very hungry for food and maybe my beautiful wife on the side," Jane ran a finger down Maura's arm before grabbing her hand.

"Our food is going to get cold if you keep this up," Maura shook her head in amusement.

"Well we just have to eat fast then," Jane rolled her hips against Maura's ass before flipping the pancake over and shutting off the stove top and turning Maura around to face her. Jane kissed at Maura's neck and started kissing down slowly. "I'm so glad you like wearing dresses, it makes things much easier."

"Jane," Maura whispered, Jane had this look of hunger in her eyes, Maura knew what Jane was planning to do. Her hypothesis was correct when Jane got on her knees, hiking up Maura's dress kissing at her thighs. "Jane," she moaned gently as Jane rolled her hand against her crotch. "Shit," she let out a whimper at Jane's touch.

Jane pulled back to look up at Maura, "You want this right?"

Maura nodded, "Yes," she licked her lips. "I want this, I want you," she felt Jane tug her panties downwards, before moving in close, running her tongue slowly over her entrance. Maura's fingers tangled in Jane's hair, tightening her grip as Jane's lips nipped at her folds. "Fuck me Jane," she begged. "Fuck me with your tongue."

Jane smirked before sliding her tongue inside of her, starting slow. Once Jane picked up her speed, Maura draped on of her legs over Jane's shoulder as she buried her face deeper. Maura leaned her head back, moaning and panting at the momentum Jane was keeping up with her mouth. Jane was very pleased by the sounds Maura were making, she slipped her hand into her own pants, feeling the dampness her own body produced, she started to finger herself, causing her to moan against Maura's core.

Jane's fingers kept up with the pace of her tongue, soon they both came and rode out their orgasms together. "Jesus Christ," Jane moaned pulling away from Maura core, and pulling her fingers out of herself. Maura looked down at Jane, smiling brightly at what just took place. Jane slowly stood up and Maura grabbed her hand, moving to suck Jane's juices off her fingers.

Jane closed her eyes as she enjoyed the feeling of Maura's tongue cleaning her fingers off. Maura pulled away with a shy smirk before taking the bacon out of the oven. "We didn't burn the bacon."

Jane just looked at her wife and laughed, "I just gave you the best tongue lashing ever and you are focused on the bacon. We need to work on your priorities babe."

"Says the woman who just ate her wife out before enjoying brunch first. I think you are the one with mixed up priorities," Maura teased.

"Oh is that so?" Jane smirked watching as Maura bent down to pull her panties back up. "You weren't complaining before."

"And I'm not complaining now, but we really should eat actual brunch."

"Of course I'll be the perfect lady from here on out. But if we get good news at the doctors, I'm going to be one naughty wife," she winked before going back to her coffee and pancake as Maura put some bacon on her plate.

"Oh is that so?"

"I'm positive. I fingered myself and fucked you with my tongue and I didn't have any chest pains or run out of breath. I call that a win."

"I'll hold you to it then," Maura smiled fixing her plate before sitting down next to Jane as they are their brunch.

The rest of the morning went well as they ate and kept sharing glances with each other and then they made it to the OBGYNs office just seconds before their appointment, they got a little distracted making out in the car. This time it was Maura's doing.

Jane changed into a paper gown and sat on the cold examination table. "Have you been experiencing any discomfort lately? Abdominal pain or anything else like that?"

"No, I've been feeling really good actually," she smiled looking at Maura.

The doctor nodded, "And do you know what procedure we're going to do to see if you are able to have children?"

Jane frowned, "Um no actually I didn't think of that. It's not going to be painful, is it?"

"It's a transvaginal ultrasound," he explained to Jane what that would entail. "You might experience a little discomfort, but if you relax it should be alright," he added, noticing the look on Jane's face changed as he explained what he would need to do.

"It should be alright? You don't sound very convincing there Doc."

Maura just shook her head, "My apologies for my wife, she likes to make jokes when she's uncomfortable," she turned to Jane. "You want to experience the whole pregnancy thing. Remember when you said that? Even the uncomfortable parts."

"Yeah I remember what I said, smarty pants," Jane reached over to grab her hand. "And you said you'd be by my side the whole time. With you I'm safe."

"That a girl," she smiled. "I think she's ready now."

The doctor nodded before starting the procedure, Jane's hand tightened around Maura's feeling discomfort only for a moment as she kept her breathing calm.

Soon the doctor nodded as he finished the examination. "See, that wasn't so bad, was it?"

"Don't talk to me like I'm a child."

"Jane," Maura glanced at her and she sighed.

"What?"

"Nothing I'm proud of you," she kissed the side of her head. "So Doc, is everything okay with my wife, is she able to get pregnant?" Maura asked, so much hope was in that question, it warmed Jane's heart.

The doctor looked between the two, "Well do you want the bad news or the good news?"

Jane looked at Maura, before turning to the doctor, "I think I've had enough bad news in my life, what's the good news?"

"The good news is that everything seems to be in order with your ovaries and all body parts needed to get pregnant."

"So I can get pregnant, I can have a baby?" Jane asked.

"Yes, congratulations to the both of you."

Jane felt tears build up in her eyes, she looked over at Maura who had tears in her eyes as well. "Maura, I'm fertile. We can have a baby."

Maura nodded, wiping her eyes, "Jane I knew you would be able to. I'm so proud of you," she cupped her cheeks before kissing her soundly on the mouth.

Jane melted into the kiss for a moment before realizing where they were at. They both wiped their wet cheeks. Jane then turned to the doctor, "Wait if we got that good news, what can possibly be the bad news?"

"My bad news was that it was going to be a long 9 months... for your wife when you get pregnant," he added with a smile.

"Oh Doc you got jokes, don't you?"

"Yeah figured you'd enjoy my humor, I'll let you two be alone for a moment while I go print out the paperwork," he nodded, smiling as he left the room.

As soon as he left Maura and Jane looked at each other, Maura jumped up from the chair in that moment and got onto the examination table and kissed Jane hard. Jane smirked at Maura's reaction, kind of surprised even. "Down girl," Jane chuckled as she licked her lips when Maura pulled away, sliding off the table.

"Sorry. I don't know what came over me," Maura's face flushed from embarrassment.

"No need to apologize, it was hot, definitely took me off guard."

"Well there's more where that came from when we get home," Maura licked her bottom lip.

"I'll hold you to it," Jane winked. Jane was so calm and so happy in this moment as she couldn't take her eyes off of Maura. She was able to get pregnant, everything was going to be okay and Jane was absolutely thrilled for this new chapter in their lives.

Yay, Jane and Maura got their good news. I had fun writing this chapter, the kitchen brunch scene was definitely a spontaneous thing, but a much appreciated happening I bet for my readers. Beginning of this chapter was stressful with what happened to Tommy and Frankie not handling things well. Speaking of which what are Frost and Tommy hiding? I already have that part planned, because it might seem confusing how Frost was angry with Tommy and then they came back like nothing was wrong. But this chapter was to focus more on fluffy Rizzles after the beginning I hope you guys appreciate this chapter as much as I do.
