A/N: Been a busy couple of weeks. I'm hoping to get a few updates out this weekend.

Mac cannot even adequately describe how it feels waking up to the warm, rock solid body behind her. If she tried, it could probably be summed up in two words...absolute bliss. She had gone to bed in a t-shirt and sweatpants, but had to strip down to shorts in the middle of the night. That was quite the experience! Each time she tried to move; Harm unconsciously tightened his hold on her. Sleeping next to Harm, she didn't really need him to turn the heat up in his loft, his body heat provided her more than enough warmth. In fact, she could have easily slept in the buff next to him and been plenty warm enough.

Why didn't she realize this the night they had to spend in the woods and had to share body heat to keep warm? Likely because she was running a fever and was a bit delirious from being shot in the leg. No other explanation makes any plausible sense.

As soon as she had slipped into his bed last night, Harm had immediately scooted up behind her and wrapped his arm around her waist. Instinctively, she had rested her hand on top of his just before he had kissed the back of her neck. He softly whispered in her ear, "Thank you for taking such good care of me, Mac. I love you." Before she could even reply, she heard his breathing even out signifying that the sandman had claimed him.

She had also found out that his arm made quite the comfortable pillow. She wouldn't have thought that all that muscle would be comfortable, but it surely was. She couldn't remember the last time that she had slept so well, and he had barely moved through the night as well. She would love to chalk it up to her presence, but it was more than likely the medicine.

True to her word, her hands didn't roam throughout the night even if she did entwine her fingers with his on the hand at her waist. His arm, however, had slowly crept up so that his wrist was brushing the underside of her breasts. She found his light touch more comforting than arousing, simply letting her know that he was there and it was exactly where he wanted to be.

It had been a very long time since she felt this content sleeping next to a man. Whenever Mic had wanted to cuddle, which wasn't very often, she felt that his touch was more possessive than soothing. Although that was how he was in all aspects of their relationship, like she was a prize he had won rather than the woman that he loved. Dalton wasn't really the type to snuggle either. When they spent the night together, he would often get up in the middle of the night to work on one of his pending cases. She really didn't mind, because she often did the same thing when her insomnia struck. John Farrow was probably the last man that she felt at ease with just sleeping next to. Wow! That said a lot for the men she picked. At least she was with the right man now, the one she should have been with all along. The others were merely stand-ins.

Harm's hand suddenly moves up as he uses the pad of his thumb to brush against her lips. With a voice still full of sleep, he inquires, "What are you thinking about so loudly over there?"

He can feel her smile before she turns in his embrace with said smile to reply, "Just how happy I am. I haven't slept this well in years."

Harm grins as well, teasing her, "I'll take that as a compliment. Just think of how well you will sleep when I am allowed to actually tire you out."

Mac leans in to give him a soft kiss, feeling how much he does want her already even if he can't act on it just yet. "I am definitely looking forward to that. And you were a very good boy last night and didn't let your hands roam places that they shouldn't!"

Harm runs his hand up and down her back, and lets it rest on her six. She crooks her brow at him, silently asking "Just what do you think you are doing?"

Harm chuckles lowly, "Hey now, the doctor only said that I wasn't allowed to participate in such activities. He didn't say that I couldn't tease you at all."

Mac reaches her arm behind her and moves his hand back up to a safer place. She laughs at his frown, "Behave, Flyboy! Touching me will raise your blood pressure just as much as me touching you."

Harm brings his hand to her face to push a wayward hair back behind her ear. He challenges, "Oh really?"

Mac nods her head, "Uh huh. And as soon as the neurologist clears you, I will prove it to you."

Harm groans. Her sultry words are making his little morning problem into an even bigger one as all his blood rushes south. He pulls his arm out from under her, "On that note, I think I will go take a cold shower."

She smacks him in the arm, "Didn't I tell you once that I expected a guy to make me breakfast after I spent the night with him?"

Harm leans back over to give her a chaste kiss, "I will…after my shower. You can make the coffee while I am in there, and I'll dish us up a few omelets while you take your shower."

Mac rolls her eyes, "I guess that's fair, but I better still have warm water for my shower!"

Harm smiles, "You'll have plenty. And if it gets too cold, just let me know and I'll come in there to warm you up."

She gets up to swat his six, but he jumps out of the way before she can make contact. He chuckles, "Nice try, Marine."

Mac smiles mischievously, "That's okay. I'll get you when you least expect it!"
