Sakura reached Hazel Marie's house and knocked on the door, an over night bag slung over her shoulder. She had been discharged finally from the hospital since the bleeding had stopped finally and she was eating small amounts of food and keeping it down, but Tsunade did not want her left alone or with any males during the night, including Kakashi. They were sure that Kakashi suspected something, but because it concerned Hazel Marie, he wasn't being pushy about the situation.

"Hey Sakura," Kakashi spoke as he answered the door and let her in. "She fell asleep not long after I got her home. You guys know that I would never hurt her, right?"

"This arrangement had nothing to do with that Kakashi," Sakura smiled sadly as she touched his arm. "Tsunade just doesn't want her to have a mental break so we are doing our best to reduce that possibility."

"What are the three of you hiding from me?"

"It's not for me to share Kakashi. Doctor/patient confidentiality and all that. Give her time, she went through a lot. Yes, she has been through almost the exact same thing as before but it still is a lot to process it. She'll tell you when she is ready."

"I know, its just difficult. I feel like I'm not helping."

"Don't make me summon Naruto to yell at you again. You probably are doing the most just by being here."

"Thanks." Sakura saw a hint of a smile through his mask. "I'll be back in the morning."

Sakura locked the door behind Kakashi as he left and placed her bag on the couch before going to check on Hazel Marie. As she entered the bedroom, she saw her friend standing at the window with a blanket wrapped around her body. Sakura walked over and stood beside her and could see Kakashi walking down the road.

"He's worried about you," Sakura whispered gently.

"I know, I just don't know how to tell him. I care for him greatly and secretly hope that our relationship gets stronger and goes further, but this feels like a a boulder ready to topple down on top of it. What if our relationship does go all the way and he wants kids…? I took the life of an innocent child before it got to live…"

"No one can fault you for that Haze and he is not going anywhere. You know that he would stop that boulder and pummel it into oblivion before it even tried to move."

"I never believed in abortion, Sakura. I always hated the word…"

"Haze, could you have lived with yourself or given it the love it needed, knowing its origins?"

"No… I don't think I could've…"

"From what Tsunade told me, you were barely far enough to know. If you had waited any longer, it would have been more difficult. You chose the best option for you and your recovery."

"I guess," Hazel Marie whispered as she moved back to sit on the bed.

"Can I get you anything?"

"No."

"Okay. Try to get some sleep, I'll be in the living room."

"There's a spare room," Hazel Marie spoke as she got off the bed. Sakura followed her out of her room to the closed door right across the hall and opened the door, revealing a twin bed with maroon sheets and comforter, a dark mahogany dresser and a black suede loveseat sat under the window. "I'll leave my door open."

"If I'm asleep, wake me if you need anything," Sakura urged and she nodded before walking back to her room.

Sakura grabbed her bag from the living room and walked back into the spare room and sat on the edge of the bed. She could see the bottom of Hazel Marie's bed and the window, which Hazel Marie had drawn the curtains. She glanced out her window and saw dark clouds and frowned. Cracking open the window, she summoned Katsuyu to find Kakashi and notify him of the storm incase Hazel Marie relapsed since her time as a prisoner. She knew that she probably should have sent word to Tsunade because the Hokage didn't want him near during the night, but Sakura knew that if something did happen, he would have a better chance of helping.

She changed into some clothes that she could sleep in and laid down on the bed, watching the clouds darken overhead and felt the cool air from the cracked window. She could hear Hazel Marie's slow breaths as she finally fell asleep and heard an almost silent tap on her window as rain drops started to hit the glass. She looked over and saw Kakashi. Getting up, she opened the window silently so he could come in. She closed the window and sighed as he removed his vest and weapons before pulling his mask down as he sat on the loveseat.

"Sorry to call you," Sakura whispered as she sat beside him. "I worried once I saw the clouds. She was taken during a storm and with all that's happened, I didn't know if she would still be handling storms well."

"I'd rather be safe than sorry and deal with explaining to Tsunade later. I'll take the blame if she gets made at me being here," Kakashi whispered back. "Thank you for having Katsuyu get me."

Sakura nodded before going back to lay on the bed and saw him move to lay across the couch that was too small for him to be comfortable. She closed her eyes and drifted off into a light meditation sleep so she keep keep monitoring Hazel Marie's vitals as she slept. The first crash of thunder jerked her awake as it boomed right over the house and sat up.

Looking around she saw Kakashi standing in the doorway to the spare room, watching Hazel Marie without being spotted if she were to wake up. Sakura got to her feet as lightning flashed across the window, illuminating both her and Kakashi's shadows across the blue carpet. Hazel Marie jerked into a sitting position as a scream escaped her lips and Sakura dashed forward and grabbed her hands as she grasped her head.

"You're okay, Haze," Sakura muttered gently. "It's okay…"

"No…" she sobbed, shaking her head. "Nothing's okay…"

"Kakashi's here. We both worried when we saw the storm coming," Sakura interrupted incase she were to say something that she wasn't ready for him to know.

"Ka..shi …?"

Hazel Marie's mismatched eyes opened and she looked around. Sakura moved so she could see him as he stood in her doorway now before he moved around the bed and sat beside her. She immediately moved to curl up in his lap, her blanket still wrapped around her.

Kakashi gave her a nod and she started to get off the bed when a small hand stopped her. She turned to look at Hazel Marie but she wasn't looking at her or even at Kakashi. Her face was hidden by her dark hair but Sakura could feel her shaking.

"Haze…?"

"Tell him… please… I can't…" her voice shook and Sakura knew that she was crying.

"Are you sure you are ready for that?" Sakura asked softly as she glanced at Kakashi as he looked at the pinkette, worry across his face.

"No… but he needs to know…"

"Alright," Sakura sighed as she sat back on the bed, Hazel Marie's grip still tight on her wrist. "You were right when you had asked Tsunade if something had happened that was different than what you had told me about Haze's previous capture. Her captor never used any kind of protection. It was still early.. three, maybe four weeks, and Tsunade removed it at her request but it still caused trauma to her physically and mentally."

"What…?" Kakashi's eyes widened as he understood what Sakura was telling him. She smiled sadly at him as she watched his arms tighten around Hazel Marie as she finally let go of her wrist.

"I'll be in the other bedroom if you need me," Sakura spoke as she got to her feet.

"Thank you…" she heard Hazel Marie whisper as her voice broke but chose not to say anything else as Kakashi worked to process what he had been told while holding the woman he was in love with even closer as her cries got louder and turned into sobs.
