WrestleMania 15: 28/3/1999
WWF WrestleMania 15 was live at the First Union Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The inaugural WrestleMania Hardcore Championship match began with Al Snow striking Billy Gunn as he tried to make a pre-match speech. With Gunn in the corner, Snow fought with Hardcore Holly outside the ring, wrapping his neck in cable but, after some fighting from Gunn, Holly was able to suplex Snow. After Gunn again interjected himself, Snow was able to go underneath the mat to find some weapons including a Philadelphia Flyers hockey stick much to the delight of the crowd. The match ended when Gunn put Snow through a table in the corner, originally intended for Gunn and then used the Fameasser on Snow, driving him into a chair on the mat. As the referee counted, Holly struck Gunn with a weapon, quickly covering Snow to steal his second championship reign
Next up was the World Tag Team Championship match.
Kevin Kelly was backstage in the interview area with Bladewolf and Kane, who had their World Tag Team Titles on their shoulders. "Bladewolf, Kane, tonight you two defend your titles against the former champions Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett, and Kane also has to face Triple H later tonight, what are your thoughts?"
Kane grabbed the microphone and brought it to the mouth area of his mask and, to the shock of everyone, spoke normally without the voice device. "Triple H...will...Burn...in...Hell!"
Bladewolf chuckled as he brought the microphone to his mouth area. "Shocking isn't it? Let's just say the supernatural had a hand in Kane speaking normally, maybe not too normal but he'll be fine. As for Hart and Jarrett...their fates are going to be the same as last time they stepped into that ring with us. Kane I will walk out as the reigning Champions. Nobody can stop Kane and I and we will hold these titles until we feel like we don't want them anymore." With that said, the two brothers walk away.
In the arena, Jeff Jarrett's music plays as Howard Finkel begins announcements. "The following tag team contest is scheduled for one-fall and it is for the World Wrestling Federation World Tag Team Championship! Introducing first. Accompanied by Debra, at a combined weight of 461 lbs...OWEN HART AND JEFF JARRETT!"
"Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett have the chance to reclaim the World Tag Team Titles tonight." Michael Cole said. "They lost them last month at St. Valentine's Day Massacre to the Brothers of Destruction, but tonight they get their rematch. What do you think, King?"
"Well, I think it's going to go the same way it did last time." Jerry nods. "Kane and Bladewolf are unstoppable. We've seen that on Sunday Night Heat where they have dominated other duos who step up against them."
Hart and Jarrett enter the ring while Debra remains outside.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
A bell begins tolling after the wolf howl as Jim Johnston's Dark Side starts up. Fire goes off at the entrance and the lights change to dark red and dark blue as the Bladewolf and Kane walk out, getting a loud pop from the fans. They had their WWF World Tag Team Championships on their right shoulders
"And their opponents, at a combined weight of 636 lbs, they are the World Wrestling Federation World Tag Team Champions...THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION!" Howard Finkel announced.
The two brothers walk down towards the ring, both climbing onto the ring apron then go over the top rope. Bladewolf stares down Hart and Jarrett while Kane raises his arms then throws them down, causing fire to shoot up from the turnbuckles in an explosion. Bladewolf takes off his trench coat before he and Kane hand their titles to the referee who holds them up before giving them to someone at ringside.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Kane starts the match off with Jeff Jarrett while their partners get out onto the ring apron and watch. Jarrett throws some punches at the Big Red Monster that don't faze him before Kane retaliates with an uppercut that floors Jarrett. Kane grabs Jarrett and Irish whips him off the ropes and nails him with a big boot. Kane delivers a few stomps on the Tag Team Champion, then misses a running elbow drop as Jarrett rolls out the way but Kane quickly shakes it off and floors Jarrett with an uppercut.
"Wow! Did you hear or feel that?" Cole asks with a wince as he rubs his chin.
Jerry nods. I did feel that. That must hurt."
Kane drags Jarrett over to his corner and tags in Bladewolf who comes in and stomps away on Jarrett time and time again. Bladewolf backs up and watches as Jarrett gets to his feet. Jarrett runs at Bladewolf and throws lighting fast rights and lefts that don't do anything to the Demon Wolf except anger him even more than he already is. Bladewolf fights back with an uppercut to the chin of Jarrett, flooring him. Bladewolf hits a leg drop across Jarrett's throat then gets to his feet, grabs Jarrett by the throat before lifting him right off the mat with one hand...AND SLAMS HIM DOWN HARD WITH A CHOKESLAM!
"Chokeslam! Right off the mat with just one hand!" Cole exclaims.
Bladewolf doesn't go for the pin as he picks Jarrett up and goes for a German Suplex but Jarrett sldies out and quickly makes the tag to Owen Hart who comes in and gets into a slug fest with Bladewolf, both of them trading rights.
"Now Bladewolf and Owen Hart trading rights back and fourth!" Cole said.
Hart quickly goes on the offensive by quickly punching away at Bladewolf's masked forehead then ducks a right hand from the former WWF Champion and knees him in the stomach before grabbing him from behind and with incredible strength he hits the 7ft man with a German Suplex.
Bladewolf quickly got to his feet and went for a right but Hart ducks it and lands his own right hand, something Bladewolf retaliates to with a kick to Hart's stomach, then an uppercut that sends Hart to a knee, stumbling back. Bladewolf walks forward and grabs Hart by the hair, pulling which makes the referee want him off but Bladewolf gives him a glare then headbutts Owen before walking towards the referee quickly who quickly bailed out the ring, causing Bladewolf to turn and turn his attention back to Hart who stumbles forward only to be lifted up by Bladewolf and hit with a sideslam.
Bladewolf hooks the legs but Hart kicks out at two. Bladeowlf gets to a knee before he grabs Hart by the hair with his right hand and then punches Owen in the forehead with his left fist before he headbutts Hart. Bladewolf then locks in a headlock, trying to wear Owen down even more than he already was but Hart fights back with elbows into the ribs of Bladewolf, eventually forcing the Demon Wolf to release him. Both men get to their feet, run at each other and hit a clothesline on the other that takes them both down.
"Now both men are down!" Jerry said.
"Who can make it to their corner first?" Cole questions.
Bladewolf rolls over and makes the tag to Kane as Hart makes the tag to Jarrett. Both men come in but Kane takes Jarrett down with a clothesline, then floors Hart with an uppercut before taking Jarrett down with another clothesline. Kane scoops Jarrett up and hits a sideslam before getting to his feet and raises his right hand.
"A Chokeslam is waiting for Jeff Jarrett!" Jerry said as Jarrett gets to his feet and turns around only to be grabbed by the throat. "Ah!"
Bladewolf comes in and grabs Hart by the throat. The two brothers nod at each other before lifting the two men up...AND HIT A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM! Kane hooks the legs! ONE! TWO! THREE! THEY RETAIN THE TITLES!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Dark Side plays as Kane stands up and stands beside his brother. "Here are your winners and STILL WWF World Tag Team Champions...THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION!"
Bladewolf gets to a knee and does the Undertaker salute, raising his half of the tag team titles. Kane stands behind him and raises his arms before throwing them down, causing fire to shoot up from the turnbuckles and his theme plays as the lights change from the mix of dark blue and dark red to a blood red.
"The brothers remain dominant." Cole said. "Who can stop them?"
"Nobody." Jerry shakes his head.
Bladewolf and Kane leave the ring with their titles in hand and head to the back.
The Brawl For All match began with the two meetings in the middle, Gunn running into some blows from Butterbean. The two traded punches, neither man managing to contact properly until Butterbean shook Gunn with a left-hand jab followed by a right hook which stunned Gunn allowing Bean to corner him, giving him another right hook which knocked him down. Gunn immediately came back upon his knees but took advantage of the eight seconds before standing up fully. As soon as he stood up though he was met with an immediate right hook which knocked him straight back down, giving Butterbean a victory via knockout. The match lasted a total of 34 seconds. This was followed with an appearance from the San Diego Chicken, who mocked special referee Vinny Pazienza and was punched to the floor for it.
When Mankind entered the ring he was immediately headbutted out, but as Big Show followed him out, Mankind slammed Show's head into the steel steps. He then tried a double-armed DDT into the steps but was shoved over the steps falling backward. Show dominated Mankind in the ring afterward, using his sheer size to punch and throw Mankind with Mankind eventually being tied up in the ropes allowing him to back body drop Show out of the ring and take out Mr. Socko to give Big Show a mandible claw three times when he returned. The third claw came with a low blow, for which Mankind was not disqualified. When Show stood back up, he had Mankind on his back and jumped backward so that his entire body landed on Mankind.
As the two recovered, Show kicked his opponent out of the ring, grabbing a steel chair and thrusting it into Mankind's chest then hitting it over his back. Big Show threw that chair and another in the ring, setting them both in seated positions and Show Stopping Mankind through the middle of them. At this point Earl Hebner finally decided to disqualify Big Show, with Show taking out his anger by attacking Mankind more with the chair. Mr. McMahon made his way to the ring afterward, berating Big Show for risking the WWF Championship match at which point Show grabbed him by the throat. He then thought better of it and released him, only to be met with another tirade from McMahon and a slap, causing Show to punch McMahon and knock him out.
The four corners Intercontinental match began with Ken Shamrock and Road Dogg in the ring, with the latter being thrown from corner to corner until Goldust tagged his way in, with running shoulder barges that floored Shamrock. Shamrock tagged in Venis who came in and instantly attacked Shamrock until Goldust backdropped him. Goldust tried the Curtain Call but Venis flipped over Goldust's back only to be knocked down again by a clothesline from Goldust who then put Venis on the turnbuckle and attempted a superplex but Venis fought back and replied with a diving bulldog following with a fisherman suplex pin which would only make a two count. The two then collided in the turnbuckle, causing Goldust to fall down and Venis to fall on him, headbutting his crotch.
Shamrock took a blind tag from Road Dogg, after he replaced Goldust, immediately putting an ankle lock until Venis grabbed the bottom rope. As Venis grabbed the ropes to stand up again Shamrock charged him but was tossed over the ropes as Ryan Shamrock insulted him. Venis went after Ken Shamrock and the two fought up the walkway with Shamrock running back to the ring but not fast enough to avoid a double count-out. Shamrock, not accepting the decision belly to belly suplex slammed both competitors before leaving. When they recovered Goldust Irish whipped Road Dogg but had it reversed and as Goldust ran into the ropes he had his leg caught by Ryan Shamrock, seemingly trying to grab Road Dogg's leg. Road Dogg charged Goldust and was picked up for a powerslam but managed to roll Goldust round, crashing him into the floor and covering him for a successful pin count.
Before Kane's match with Triple H, Kane entered the ring only to be attacked while he was performing his signature entrance by the San Diego Chicken. Kane fought back and unmasked the chicken, revealing it be Pete Rose, trying to gain revenge for the previous year's incident but receiving a Tombstone piledriver. Triple H also tried to ambush Kane by coming through the crowd while all eyes were on the stage entrance, hitting Kane out of the ring and then hitting him into the ring post and whipping him into the steel steps.
Kane then picked Triple H up and straddled him on the crowd barrier, pushing him into the Mean Street Posse who were at ringside, picking him up again to ram his back into the steel post three times. Back inside the ring, Kane dominated Helmsley with his rough fighting style, using his foot to choke Triple H and knocking him down with clotheslines and punches until Triple H gained momentum from a reversal, smashing Kane's face into his knee. Kane was allowed time to recover when Triple H was distracted by Chyna coming to ringside. Triple H tried to Pedigree Kane as he stood up but failed while Chyna pushed the steel steps into the ring. Kane picked them up and ran into Triple H, who used the turnbuckle to swing his feet up and kicked them back into Kane causing Kane to stagger backward and drop them before smashing his face into the steps from a drop toe-hold.
Triple H then clotheslined Kane out of the ring, following himself and attempting to Pedigree Kane on the steps but was backbody dropped. When they made it back into the ring Kane chokeslammed Triple H while Chyna entered the ring with a steel chair, telling Kane she wanted to attack Triple H but as Kane turned, Chyna hit him with the chair causing him whirl around, grab her by the throat and nail a one-armed Chokeslam. Kane, even though he won by DQ, gave Triple H a beating by Chokeslamming him three times before finishing it off with a Tombstone onto a Steel Chair.
I just added that match between Kane and Triple H to show you the different way it goes since Kane never aligned himself with Chyna in my reality of things.

Bio: At a young age, George watched WWE and dreamed of being a WWE Superstar. When he was in his teens, he trained to be a wrestler, soon ending up with a gimmick, a name, and working at small wrestling shows under the name 'The Bladewolf'. In September 1997, he was approached by Jim Ross about a contract with the WWF and George accepted, having his tryout match at the WWF's UK One Night Only PPV where the Bladewolf made his debut and proceeded to destroy Tiger Ali Singh in dominating fashion as part of the character and win the match, starting the beginning of George's big time wrestling career.
Over the next few weeks, Bladewolf would face superstar after superstar and defeat them in quick, dominating fashion. He defeated Dude Love at Badd Blood: in Your House, Triple H at Survivor Series, Marc Mero at D-Generation X: in Your House, a feud that became real life issues due to George sleeping with Mero's real life wife, Sable, yet it was discovered Sable was being abused by Mero.
Back on screen, Bladewolf continued his path of destruction and after facing Kane and loosing his first match to Kane, Paul Bearer revealed that Bladewolf was in fact the lost, little brother of the Undertaker and Kane. Bladewolf would eventually come face to face with his brothers, stopping Kane from slapping Undertaker. As 1997 reached an end, Bladewolf showed a desire to be WWF Champion and on the final RAW of 1997 he faced Shawn Michaels for the title but won by DQ, but Michaels retaiend due to titles not changing hands by a DQ.
Bladewolf competed in the 1998 Royal Rumble, eliminating 8 superstars and came down to the final two with Stone Cold Steve Austin, but was eliminated. Despite this, Bladewolf still desired a shot at the WWF Championship and was given the chance to be added to the Main Event at WrestleMania 14 when Vince McMahon put him into a tag team match against Vader and Marc Mero with his brother Kane being his partner. For the first time, the two brothers teamed up and showed dominance throuout most of the match and won the match, giving Bladewolf his shot at the title.
At WrestleMania 14, Bladewolf defeated Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold to win his first WWF Championship and making history by becoming the youngest Champion ever at the age of 21. After this, Bladewolf went on to face Stone Cold Steve Austin at Unforgiven: in Your House for the WWF Championship but lost, ending his first reign at only 28 days.
Bladewolf was denied a rematch by Vince McMahon, which caused him to go on a rampage and destroy several superstars. Bladewolf was then given a shot at the WWF Intercontinental Championship at Over the Edge: In Your House, where he defeated the Rock to win the title for the first time and become the youngest at 21 years old.
Bladewolf then went on to become part of the 1998 King of the Ring tournament, which he won in the final at the King of the Ring PPV. After this, he feud with the Rock and Triple H, leading to a Triple Threat Ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam where he retained the title. He lost the title to Triple H at Breakdown: in Your House, ending his first Intercontinental Championship reign at only 119 days. Bladewolf would then go on to win the title for the second time at Judgement Day: In Your House, defeating Ken Shamrock.
Bladewolf attacked the Undertaker the next night on RAW when the Undertaker revealed he set the fire that claimed the lives of Bladewolf's parents and scarred Kane's face. The following week he faced Stone Cold Steve Austin in a I Quit match, where the Undertaker interfered and brutally attacked Bladewolf, injuring his ankle and forcing Bladewolf to vacate his Intercontinental Championship, ending his second reign at only 8 days.
During George's time off, he and Sable broke up after she cheated on him.
Bladewolf returned to the WWF on the 25/1/1999 episode of RAW to defend Kane from Shane McMahon, reuniting the Brothers of Destruction. Kane and Bladewolf would go on to defeat Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart for the World Tag Team Championships at St. Valentine's Day Massacre: In Your House, giving Bladewolf his first tag team title reign.
