Reposting this as the it seems to become corrupted. This isn't based on a scene from the show. Based around nobody going through a portal and Snowing knowing Regina is still a threat. If you have any requests let me know!

Snow put all her focus into the tree a few yards ahead of her. She'd badly needed this. When she performed archery, her entire focus was solely on her target. Admittedly, this realm's added bonus of earphones enhanced the experience. She drew back her arrow before letting it fly. Bullseye. Then, Snow was aware of a shadow to her right that hadn't been there before. Her time as a bandit meant she noticed even the smallest detail. She was glad she investigated. Regina stood smirking before her.

"You have a lot of rage to take out on that poor tree." Regina said sarcastically. "Something on your mind, Snow?"

"What do you want?" Snow growled. She had no energy for Regina's torments today. She had enough on her mind.

"I'm surprised to find you out here on your own." Regina commented.

"I can take care of myself. You haven't got me yet." Snow reminded her, a threatening edge in her tone. Regina smirked. She wasn't frightened of the princess.

"Oh no dear, you misunderstand. You see, when I let you play happy families for those few years in the Enchanted Forest, you were quite the hover parent. The little princess was never very far from your sight. I'm surprised that you haven't got her leashed to a tree nearby." Regina goaded her. Snow's hand tightened around her bow.

"Firstly, Emma's not a dog." Snow hissed. "Secondly, an evil queen had been threatening her life since before she was even born. Can you really blame me for being protective? Finally, just because she's not with me doesn't mean she's on her own. We're not stupid, we know you're still a threat to her even if she won't take it seriously. We just have to be more subtle now." Snow said. Regina gave Snow a pitying look.

"Ah, because wittle Emma is all grown up now and can't walk around holding mommy's hand? That must sting a little Snow. Your precious little girl, not so little anymore, is she?"

"You've done your damage, Regina. You've taken Emma's childhood with us away. You've had your revenge. Now leave us be." Snow warned her. Regina gave a humourless laugh.

"Oh I'm only just getting started." She said quietly. "Your heart hasn't been totally broken, Snow. Not like you did to me…"

"I was a child, Regina. I have apologised for that over and over again. Let it go. Move on."

"I will not!" Regina snapped. "I will get my revenge for him, for Daniel." Suddenly, Regina gave a cold smile. "You really think your little round the clock supervision order will work?"

"As long as we're here, Emma will be safe." Snow told her, staring her right in her loveless eyes.

"Oh is that so? So she's not at the station unaccompanied then?"

"No, she isn't. Her father is with her." Snow responded. "He's now co-sheriff with her."

"So there hasn't been a tiny emergency down at the docks? One which Emma insisted her dad attend while she catches up on paperwork?" Regina said coyly. Snow's eyes narrowed.

"If you touch her…" she growled, but Regina just laughed once more before disappearing in a cloud of purple smoke. Snow's heart was racing in her chest. She didn't have the luxury of being able to use magic to transport herself instantly, she had to go on foot. She quickly retrieved her arrow and stashed it back in her quiver, slinging both it and her bow over her shoulder before bolting for the station. Even if she ran at full speed, she was still about fifteen minutes away. As she ran, her mind whizzed with all the different things Regina could do in those fifteen minutes.

I'm coming Em. Snow thought to herself. Just hold on.

Snow didn't think she had ever ran so fast in her life, and she had been in some pretty serious chases. Her lungs burned, her legs ached, her head was spinning, but still she ran on. She did not stop until she burst through the door of the station. She immediately pulled out her bow and loaded it, scanning the room.

"Woh, Snow, what's the matter?" David asked, alarmed. Snow was shocked. David was here? She scanned the whole room carefully before lowering her weapon. David and Emma were both here. Snow's bow clattered to the floor. She gulped in the air as fast as she could, dizzy from running there so quickly.

"Regina." Snow answered, as soon as she could speak. "She tricked me. Said there had been an emergency at the docks." Both David and Emma shook their heads.

"There's been no emergency. We've both been here the whole time. Why did Regina want you to think there was an emergency at the docks? Also, if there was, why did you come running here instead?" Emma asked, bewildered. Snow and David exchanged glances. The pair could say a lot to each other without saying a word.

"She told you I had gone to the emergency, didn't she?" David asked outright. Snow nodded. Both she and David understood. Regina hadn't done this to simply wind Snow up. It was a test. She was seeing what buttons of the Charmings she could push. She was seeing how frightened they actually were of Regina. Snow couldn't believe she'd been so foolish. Of course David would never leave Emma unaccompanied right now. The duo had worked out a system that would mean Emma always had backup should Regina try anything. Emma looked between the two before the realisation dawned on her.

"Mary Margaret, I'm more than a match for Regina. Besides, she'd away licking her wounds. I don't need a babysitter." Emma told her sternly. Snow winced at hearing Emma call her by her cursed name. This had been a very difficult transition for the family. Snow and David had been frozen in time for twenty five years. It was hard adjusting from parenting a three year old to a twenty eight year old. Emma was still their daughter, so to know that she wasn't yet ready to have that connection again could be hurtful. She had somewhat detached herself from them for the time being. Slowly but surely they were working on rebuilding that relationship, but it taking much more time than either parent wanted.

"It's not just for you, it's for all of us Emma. Regina has a known vendetta against this family. If we stick together where possible it minimises the risk of anyone getting hurt." David said, trying to calm Emma down. She rolled her eyes, not convinced. Snow and David now knew they would have to double their efforts. Regina was obviously plotting again. Whatever it was, it could not be good.
