She walked into the bar an hour later wearing a pair of jeans, a black off shoulder wrap top with a somewhat low v-neck and a pair of black leather boots. The place was a bit busier than the times she had been there. Bravo team was spread out in the back between darts and pool.

Seeing they were all busy, she headed for the bar and ordered. A guy in his mid-thirties, tall, with black hair and brown eyes, came up to the bar and looked her over.

"Hey there gorgeous, you look like you're looking for a good time."

She looked at the guy. "Not interested, but thank you," answered Emily not leaving her spot at the bar, still waiting for the bartender.

The guy stepped in closer. "It wasn't a question. I'm kinda feeling lonely and hot tonight. I want your company."

"I think you've come to the wrong place," she said gently, "the strip club is further down the street."

"Come on, you're here alone. You're going to make me believe that you didn't come here to get any action?"

"She isn't here alone. Why don't you find yourself a nice little concubine down the street?" The guy's look shifted to the left of Emily and he saw Sonny standing behind her, his hand protectively placing itself on her waist.

The guy knew that there were a lot of Navy soldiers and Seals that came to the bar. In the eventuality that this guy was one of them, which could appear to be the case considering his build, he took a step back and eventually walked away as he said, "yeah sure, no problem man."

Sonny let go of Emily and took the guy's place in front of Emily and she turned her head slightly to look at the others in the back.

Ray, Jason, and Eric were looking in their direction.

"What are you doing?" she said to Sonny casually as she turned her head back in his direction.

"Guy was looking at you as if you were a hooch and he was going to storm the cotton gin."

"I could have handled him and your arm around my waist wasn't very discreet," she said as she give a look to the back of the room again and saw Eric in their direction. "Sonny, we're so close, I don't want to blow this."

He looked at her but said nothing as he walked away and headed back towards the back.

The bartender handed Emily her drink and Eric joined her.

"What's going on?"

"Nothing. Some guy was a bit too pushy. Sonny overheard him and told him to leave."

"That was nice of him. Why do you seem upset?"

"I'm not upset. I just figured I could have handled the guy. The last thing we need in here is a brawl. It wouldn't sit well with the bar owner or the Navy."

"You're right, especially when it comes to Sonny, he sometimes has a tendency of being hot tempered," Eric paused for a second, "although he's changed the past couple months."

Emily grabbed her beer bottle and looked at Eric. "So, what will it be? Darts or pool?"

Eric smiled. "It depends if you want to win or lose."

"Ha! You're so full of crap, I'd beat you in either one, and you know it."

"Yeah, which gets me wondering where you get the practice from… you hate these kinds of places."

"It's all about aim and geometry," she replied jokingly, "I'll teach you one day."

"Ah! There she is, we were getting thirsty," said Trent as Emily and Eric joined them.

"Sorry I'm late," she turned and waved the waiter over, "this round is on me."

The waiter nodded and the guys placed their orders.

When the drinks were served, they all cheered to their daily accomplishments and Emily played a game of pool with Clay against Sonny and Eric.

There was only the 8-ball left for Clay and Emily and it was her shot. Sonny looked at her from the far end of the table a few inches from her. "Don't choke now."

Still leaning over the table, pool cue in hand, she looked up at him and smiled. "I never choke," she let go of the cue stick and put her hand out flat in front of her, "my hands aren't even shaking. There is nothing you can say or do that will change that."

He raised an eyebrow but said nothing. She was lying, there were a lot of things that he could do or say that would make her lose focus, but she knew that when on base or surrounded by any Bravo team member, she couldn't let that show.

She hit the ball slightly in order for it to enter the upper left pocket with a light spin. All the guys followed the ball as Emily finished her stroke still leaning.

As they watched the ball continue in it's trajectory, they heard Emily's voice protest.

Someone placed both their hands on her behind and had firmly pinched it. "What the hell!? Get your hands off me!"

They all turned around upon hearing the words and a slap.

Sonny put the cue down and started to walk angrily towards the guy. Clay and Eric held him back. Jason put himself calmly between Emily and the guy as Ray, Trent and Brock placed themselves with him, creating some sort of protective shield in front of Emily.

"I suggest you leave," said Jason as he gave the guy a very threatening and unwelcoming look. "I don't think you want to spend the rest of the night in jail."

"You Navy guys come here, and you think you own the place. The women included." The guy looked at Emily again then back at Jason. "You can keep your Navy slut."

Sonny who had temporarily calmed down enough to be let go of by Eric and Clay, started to storm again in the guys' direction. "What did you just call her?! Come say that again in front of my so I can put my fist in your face!"

Clay held him back again. Jason took a step towards the guy again as Eric joined him this time.

"Right now, the fact that we are all Navy, including her, is the only reason why you're still standing. I won't say it again, get the fuck out of here!"

The guy gave a sneer and finally turned around and walked out of the bar.

"I think we could use another round," said Ray to the team as he waved the waiter down.

"Thanks," said Emily as she place her hand on Jason's arm.

"Don't mention it," answered Jason as he looked Emily deep in the eye.

Seeing this, Sonny felt a pit in his stomach. He grabbed his jacket and walked out.

Emily looked at Jason puzzled for a few seconds, then excused herself. "I'll be right back."

Emily walked outside just as Sonny drove out of the parking lot.

"Don't worry, he'll cool off," she heard Jason say from behind her. "He's a big boy. An hour or two down the street and tomorrow he won't even remember."

Emily didn't want Sonny to head down the street. She wanted to go find him and help him calm down. In the end, he did what any man would have done for the one they are with. But with Jason there, she couldn't call Sonny or go after him.

"I hope you're right," she simply answered.

"Yeah. What about you are you OK?"

"Sure, let's go back inside." She didn't really want to be alone with Jason either.

Throughout the two next hours, she tried to call Sonny and send him text messages, but he never responded.
