"Coming to you live from the Grand Palais Museum. I'm Nadja Chamack. Gabriel Agreste's fashion show was recently delayed after the Queen of Fashion, Audrey Bourgeois, was akumatized. But everything is back on schedule again, after Ladybug heroicly stepped in to save the day, as usual. The fashion show can finally begin!"

Gabriel turned off his phone; he didn't want to hear anymore. "I don't want to break our promise, but… I can't keep putting our son in danger. Style Queen was supposed to be my masterpiece… but even she failed. I feel like I've done all I possibly could, you know? I'll never be able to fulfill my wish without Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculous." He placed a hand on his wife's pod and exhaled sadly. "Forgive me, Emilie. I'm giving you up, Nooroo."

He took off the butterfly brooch, which forced Nooroo to return to the Miraculous. He placed the brooch in a silver box. He left the repository as the lights go off one by one. He returned to his office and down in his chair, distraught, and took off his glasses. Nathalie noticed and gave him a hug, but he didn't return it.

True to form, the fashion show continued as plan with Adrien showcasing the feathered bowler hat. He stopped to do some poses for the camera. In the stands, Alya was filming for her blog. "Scoop. The hat Adrien Agreste is wearing was made by my BFF, Marinette! Anything you'd like to say during my livestream?"

Marinette stammered awkwardly.

Suddenly, the whole room was filled with gasps and the music died down. Marinette turned and saw the reason why. It was Gabriel Agreste in the flesh. Not everyone was shocked to see him though as Audrey Bourgeois was still pretty upset with him for giving him the brush off. Chloe mimicked her mother. And as for Rudi, he gave Adrien's father a dark glare.

Alya spluttered, "I… don't… believe this! Ladybloggers, a huge update! That's Gabriel Agreste; he hasn't been in public in ages."

Gabriel approached his shocked son and...gave him a hug. Adrien was speechless. Then he returned the hug with a warm smile. The paparazzi started taking photos of Adrien and his father in embrace.

Alya said to her camera phone, "Scoop number two! Gabriel Agreste has just turned up! And that means we'll be seeing your hat in every single photo and news broadcast," she said to an excited Marinette.

Rudi crossed his arms and said to himself, "It's about damn time." His eyes flashed green as he whispered, "Don't screw this up, Gabriel."

The news spread all over Paris as Nadja Chamack spoke into the camera, "This was Gabriel Agreste's first public appearance since his wife disappeared. This fashion week is full of surprises and shockers."

After the show, the Bourgeois and Agreste families met with each other. Gabriel spoke to Mrs. Bourgeois, "My dear Audrey, I heard about the unforgivable misfortune you had to endure."

Audrey extended her hand and allowed Gabriel to kiss it. "I'm still quite overwhelmed."

"I want you to know that I've fired the person who was responsible for the misunderstanding. Only one row in the house is befitting to Audrey Bourgeois and that's the first."

Audrey said with a smirk, "Let's not overdo it, huh Gabriel?"

"Did you enjoy the show?" Gabriel asked as the Dupein-Cheng family approached them.

"Eh, so-so." Audrey took the bowler hat off Adrien's head and inspected it. "This is not one of your designs." She noticed Marinette's name stitched in the hat and gave her an intimidating glare. "Did you make this?"

Marinette stammered. Her parents gave her a thumbs up. Adrien whispered to her, "Stand proud!"

The girl inhaled, exhaled, then said with more confidence, "I… I'm the one who created it."

"Marinette won the fashion design contest," Gabriel explained to Audrey.

"It's the most…" Chloe expected to hear her mother trample on Marinette's dreams, but got the shock of her life when she said instead, "...exceptional thing I've ever seen! You're a visionary, Marinette! Glitter's had its day. Feathers are the trend of tomorrow!" Marinette made a gasp of excitement. "I haven't felt this much emotion since…you," she said to Gabriel.

"She does have talent," he said.

"You wanna be a fashion designer, right," she asked Marinette.

"Uh-uh… Yes ma'am."

"Then come to New York with me! I'll make you the biggest name in fashion! I'm sure you'll even upstage Gabriel."

Adrien smiled. "I'll be able to model for you!"

Marinette looked uncertain. She turned to her parents, who just smiled a supportive smile. "We'll be here for you honey, no matter what you decide," her mother said.

But the poor girl was torn. One hand, she'd be able to fulfill her dream. Other hand, who'll do her duties as Ladybug?

"My helicopter will be leaving for the airport at 8 p.m. tonight," said Audrey.

Adrien said to his friend, "Isn't this awesome for Marinette, Chloé?"

But Chloe was seething with anger and rage toward her mother. "It's... It's ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous! I've never been to New York with you and you're taking Marinette Dupain-Cheng!?"

"I'm taking her because she's exceptional Claudette. Uh— Chloé."

"I'm exceptional, too!"

Her mother just scoffed. "The only exceptional thing about you, my dear… is your mother."

"Oof," Rudi said. Even though he hated Chloe, he couldn't help but feel bad for her.

Mayor Andre Bourgeois put a hand on his daughter's shoulder to calm her down, but Chloe had had enough and pulled out the jewelry box she found at the Eiffel Tower. "I'll show you how exceptional I can be!"

Adrien and Marinette immediately recognized it. "CHLOE! NO!" they shouted simultaneously.

Too late. She opened it, revealing the gold comb with the bee decoration on it. A ball of light shot out of the comb and turned into a little fairy that resembled a bee. "How may I serve you, my queen?"

Everyone witnessing this gasped.

"What is that?" asked Audrey.

"Is that...a kwami?" Rudi asked, incredulously. He didn't know it, but Gabriel's, Marinette's and Adrien's eyes immediately fell on him.

"Chloe, what are you doing?" asked Adrien, concerned where this was going.

Chloe put the comb in her hair and commanded, "Pollen, BUZZ ON!" The little kwami was sucked into the comb and in a flash of gold and black, Chloe changed into a gold and black striped costume with a black domino mask and her hair was tied in a pony tail by a black bow. Attached to her hip was a black and gold top with a pull string.

She backflipped onto the catwalk's backdrop and spoke loudly for the cameras, "I am Chloé Bourgeois and from now on I'll be your new superhero, Queen Bee! We'll soon see if you think Dupain-Cheng is still more exceptional than moi! Spinning Top!" She used her top to swing away out of the Grand Palais and up to the rooftops.

Andre was in full panic mode. "What is happening to our beloved daughter?!"

Audrey, after getting over the initial shock, said with a scoff, "She always was a showoff." She turned to Marinette and said, "See you tonight, Marinette. I'll meet you at my helicopter."

Rudi gave her an incredulous look as she left with her worrying husband. "Unbelievable! She's acting like this happens every other Tuesday!"

Marinette raised an eyebrow. "Why Tuesday?"

"What? Can you think of any other day something like this might happen?"

Nadja spoke to the camera with microphone in hand, "Un-bee-lievable, Paris' got a new self-proclaimed superhero, whose not-so-secret identity is none other than Chloé Bourgeois, daughter of fashion Queen, Audrey Bourgeois"

At the massage parlor, Master Fu and Wayzz watched the news on the tablet with concern. "How could Marinette have given the Miraculous to that Chloé girl?" the little kwami asked.

"There is no way she would have given it to her," said Master Fu. "But I know whatever transpired, she will set things right."

The Agreste's limosine pulled up in front of the Grand Palais. "We better be going home, Adrien," Gabriel said as he took his son by the arm. "Thank you all for coming."

"There he is," Rudi growled. "The monster I loathe so much."

Gabriel paused for a brief moment before he said, "Watch yourself, boy."

Mr. Dupein-Cheng said to his daughter, "It's probably not a good idea to stick around with Chloé Bourgeois thinking she's the bee's knees."

Mrs. Dupein-Cheng agreed with him, "I'm sure Ladybug and Cat Noir will fix everything!"

"Let's go back home," he said as they left before Marinette could say anything.

Rudi left the building as well and he was about to turn the corner for home when he suddenly felt his phone buzz. He answered it and asked, "Mom? Dad? What's wrong?"

"We came to make sure you were okay," his mother said. "What with that mean girl suddenly getting superpowers and all."

"I'm fine. You know her, she thinks I'm so beneath her, I'm not worthy of her attention."

"Well, just be sure to keep away from her," his father said. "There's no telling what might happen."

Rudi made a smile. "Don't worry. I'll be fine. Like I said, she won't care for someone like me. Look, I'll be home soon right after I get my croissant. I'll see you then."

"Okay. Just be careful," said his mom.

"I will. Love you, bye," Rudi said as he hung up. His eyes flashed green as he ducked behind a garbage can and pulled out the Mask. "Chloe of all people, what were you thinking, Ladybug?"

Why are you asking me?

"Doesn't matter. I gotta stop that girl before she hurts someone. It's show time."

Adrien said as the limo drove him and his father and Nathalie home, "I hope Chloé doesn't do anything foolish."

Adrien said without even looking at his son, "I'm sure Ladybug and Chat Noir will deal with her."

Nathalie looked back at Gabriel through the car's rearview mirror.

Queen Bee let out a scoff as she came to a stop at the Roue de Paris. "There's nothing exciting going on in this city, no one to save!" She looked at the tunnel leading to the metro line and got an idea. "If you want it done right," she said as she flicked her hair. "You have to do it yourself." She turned her top into a phone and dialed down Nadja's phone number. "Nadja Chamack? Chloé Bourgeois here. I mean, Queen Bee. Come ASAP; I'm about to rescue the passengers of a metro that's in peril. You've got to film this!"

Just as she hung up, suddenly an explosion knocked her off her feet and she landed on the ground. She looked up to see Big-Head, holding a bazooka. "I think you're done playing hero, Chloe."

Queen Bee got up and spun her top like a mace. "I'm not Chloe! I'm Queen Bee, Paris' new superhero! And I'm actually happy you're here, Big-Head. It's payback time for those bear traps you snapped on my fingers!"

Big-Head raised an eyebrow and tilted his head. "You're still hung up on that? That was a long time ago!"

"Doesn't matter! You're going to pay!" She tossed the top at him, but he easily dodged it and it struck a car instead, sending it flying.

"It doesn't have to be this way, Chloe," said Big-Head. "Just give me the comb and you can go back to being your usual bitching self."

"I WILL defeat you," she snarled as she lunged for him with the top. "That will prove I'm exceptional!"

Big-Head blocked the blows from the top with a lunch tray as he said, "All this to prove you're something you're not to your mother? You're pathetic!" He tossed the lunch tray away and fired the bazooka at her. She ducked just in time and the rocket flew across the street and into an office building.

Queen Bee retaliated by tripping Big-Head with the top's pull string and sending him flat on his back. "Who's pathetic now?"

"The sphincter says ouch."

"Ouch?" Big-Head bopped her in the face with a boxing glove. "Ouch!" He punched her again, sending her flying into the fountain.

In the subway, Tom was talking about his plans for America should Marinette accept the offer. "We'll open a bakery in New York and introduce our Dupain-Cheng pastries to the Americans!"

"Are you sure, Tom? You've always been afraid of flying," Sabine said.

"I'd fly to the moon and open a bakery for my daughter if I had to."

Marinette whispered to Tikki, "What should I do, Tikki? It's like my dream come true. I can go to New York and become a real fashion designer."

"Who will protect Paris from Hawk Moth if you leave?"

"Chat Noir, Rena Rouge..."

"Only Ladybug can purify akumas. I won't be able to go to New York with you."

Tom interrupted his daughter's conversation unknowingly as he put a hand around her shoulder, "Nothing will come between my daughter and her dreams."

Suddenly, their phones buzzed. And not just theirs, but everyone in the subway. Their eyes glued to the phones as they watched footage of Queen Bee fighting Big-Head.

"Think she might actually beat him?" asked one of the passengers.

"She's not going to pull it off," said Marinette.

In his lair, Gabriel put the brooch back out and Nooroo appeared. "Master?"

"I still have one chance, Nooroo. All is not lost. I have a unique opportunity to akumatize someone with a Miraculous." Nooroo gasped in horror. "A superhero-turned-supervillain can only be… exceptional! Nooroo, DARK WINGS RISE!" Nooroo was sucked into the brooch and in a flash of purple, Gabriel turned into Hawk Moth.

At the same time, Adrien ran to his room and let Plagg out of his pocket. "I hope we're not too late. Plagg, CLAWS OUT!" Plagg was sucked into the ring and in a flash of black, Adrien turned into Chat Noir.

"Those two are really going at it," Tom commented as the battle between Queen Bee and Big-Head raged on.

Queen Bee wrapped her top's pull string around his body, but this resulted in him spewing water out his mouth and into her face. She gagged and wiped her face, loosening her string around his body.

When the train came to a stop, Marinette asked her parents if she could take a shortcut. They found it strange, but agreed to it. She made sure no one was looking and let Tikki out of her purse. "It's time we drag Chloé down to earth before Big-Head sends her crashing first. Tikki, SPOTS ON!" Tikki was sucked into the earrings and in a flash of red and black, she turned into Ladybug.

"How does it feel?"

Queen Bee ringed the water out of her hair as she got out. "How does what feel?"

Big-Head smirked. "How does it feel to have a mother who can't even remember your own name? It's like you're a mistake to her!" Something snapped in Queen Bee the moment he said that and she let out a roar of anger. He got her right where he wanted her. "That's it. Come get me."

"VENOM!" The top spun around in her hand, forming a ball of energy resembling a bee's abdomen and stinger. She charged at him and he blocked the stinger with his hand. Suddenly, he felt his body stiffen. He couldn't move at all. He tipped over and fell flat on his back and as stiff as a stick.

Queen Bee panted for a few seconds. Then it dawned on her. "I did it. I beat Big-Head." She let out a cheer and did a victory dance. "I told her I was exceptional! Ooh, look. Nadja Chamack is here!" Queen Bee put the green-headed loon in front of the camera crew and placed her left foot on his chest. "Behold! I just did what no one else could! I have captured Big-Head!"

"Yeah," said Ladybug as she and Chat Noir pushed through the camera crews. "And caused a lot of damage as well. Look around you, Chloe!"

Queen Bee realized for the first time the destroyed cars and properties, but she scoffed and said, "Whatever, my dad can pay people to fix them."

"It doesn't matter," Ladybug snapped. "You could have hurt a lot of people!"

"But I caught Big-Head! Doesn't that matter?"

Big-Head grunted as he shifted himself. "Only because I let you!"

That made Queen Bee balk. "What?"

"Yeah! I could have just taken you out with a buffalo stampede if I wanted to. This was the only way I could think of to get you to stop."

"But...but...that's not fair!"

"Life's not fair."

"Queen Bee, or rather, Chloé Bourgeois, we're on the air with your mother, Audrey Bourgeois." Nadja held up a tablet showing live footage of Chloe's mother. "Audrey, do you have anything to say, live, on TV?"

"What? Regarding my daughter's ineptitude? I think it speaks for itself, doesn't it?"

That hurt Chloe even more. Ladybug held her hand out. "Chloé. Give me back your Miraculous."

But the spoiled little princess kept the comb away. "Finders keepers, losers weepers!"

Chat Noir was shocked to hear that. "Did you lose a Miraculous!?"

Ladybug pulled him away for a private conversation. "Listen, you lost a Miraculous once, too! May I remind you I was busy taking care of Style Queen, all by myself?"

"Uh, guys," Big-Head called out. "She's left!"

Ladybug and Chat Noir looked around, but true to his word, Queen Bee was gone. "Wherever she is, she must've transformed back by now," said Chat Noir.

"She's probably gone home. I'll pay her a visit and get the Miraculous back!"

"I'll come with you."

As Ladybug and Chat Noir left, a van stopped shortly to pick up Nadja and her cameraman. "Wait," Big-Head called out. "You can't just leave me here! Come back! At least scratch my nose!" He groaned. Then he felt his fingers move. "Guess it's only temporarily."

Chloe returned to her room at the Grand Paris hotel and let out a cry of sadness and disappointment, ignoring her blinking Miraculous. After everything that happened, she'd just proved her mother right. She never was, is, and will be exceptional. Never.

The circular window to Hawk Moth's lair opened and butterflies swarmed around him. "It was bound to happen. Superpowers aren't child's play, my dear Chloé Bourgeois." He grabbed one of the butterflies and turned it from white to purple. "Fly away my little Akuma and evilize this fallen hero!"

Chloe was still crying when the Akuma absorbed itself into the Bee Miraculous. Her face went blank as Hawk Moth's voice rang in her head, "Queen Wasp, I am Hawk Moth. Ladybug and Chat Noir don't want you as their friend and Big-Head gave you a false victory, so you will be their most powerful enemy. Nobody has managed it yet, but you will defeat them, because you are… exceptional. In return you must seize their Miraculous and the Mask of Loki."

Chloe smirked as black smoke enveloped her. "You can count on me, Hawk Moth. I'll teach them to respect me."

Ladybug and Chat Noir arrived at the Grand Paris a few minutes later. They were surprised to find Big-Head already there. "Thanks a lot for waiting for me, you two ingrates."

"We weren't waiting," said Ladybug bluntly.

"Did you see Chloe anywhere?" asked Chat Noir.

Big-Head shook his head. "No. I looked everywhere. She's not in her room."

"She must be down stairs."

The trio headed down to the lobby and were met with an unexpected sight. People frozen in place with looks of horror stuck on their faces. Among them included the mayor and his wife. Big-Head chuckled. "Even when frozen as a statue she still has that bitchy frown."

Chat Noir noticed something in all the victims: they had little black marks on their necks. "What's that, an insect bite?"

"That's impossible, she can only use her special power once, like my Lucky Charm. She should've transformed back." Ladybug suddenly heard a faint buzzing. It sounded like a light fixture. No. It sounded like a swarm of angry bees or wasps. She looked up and sure enough, she saw a swarm of wasps flying straight for her and Chat Noir. "Look out!" She tackled him to the ground before they could sting him.

So the wasps headed straight for Big-Head instead. "Oh, no, not again!" He pulled out a can of bug killer and sprayed them dead. "That was anticlimactic."

"Your reign is over, Ladybug and Chat Noir!" At the top of the staircase was Chloe, wearing a version of Queen Bee's costume with reversed colors. Flying around her were more of those wasps. "I don't even care if you don't give me your Miraculous; my wasps will paralyze you and I'll simply take them myself."

Hawk Moth spoke in her mind, "Nice work, Queen Wasp. You truly are exceptional! I knew it!"

Wasp Queen pointed to the trio and commanded her wasps to sting the heroes, but Big-Head dropped a smoke screen, giving them enough time to retreat and take refuge on a rooftop across the way.

"Hawk Moth must've akumatized her while she was still Queen Bee," said Ladybug.

"I bet the Akuma's in her Miraculous," said Chat Noir.

"That makes sense, but Miraculous are indestructible. We will need your Cataclysm to release the Akuma."

"You know I'm all yours, M'Lady. We just have to find out how to capture it without getting stung."

Suddenly, they heard Queen Wasp shout, "A ladybug doesn't stand a chance against the queen of wasps!"

Her wasps lifted two cars and threw one toward Ladybug and Chat Noir, the other towards civilians. Big-Head pulled out a rocket launcher and fired at the cars, sending debris flying everywhere. Ladybug used her yo-yo's string as a net to capture the debris before the civilians. Queen Wasp, however, got hit by a bit of shrapnel in the leg and cried out in pain before she collapsed to her knees.

Big-Head laughed at her. "You know, even though I hate her more than I hate you surprisingly, your mother was right! There's nothing exceptional about you. You're just a spoiled brat just like her! Commonplace, really."

Hearing that, Queen Wasp let out a roar of anger as black smoke enveloped her. When the smoke disappeared, what replaced her was a giant wasp the size of a bus. In her hair was the Bee Miraculous. Her wings buzzed angrily as she flew up into the sky.

"Megakuma," asked Ladybug nonchalantly.

"Megakuma," confirmed Chat Noir with the same tone.

Queen Wasp let out an inhuman shriek which made the wasps chase after the heroes again. Big-Head was about to spray them again when Chat Noir grabbed his hand. "Let's figure out a solution that doesn't involve poisoning all of Paris."

"Fine."

The trio ran across the rooftops and dove into the Seine where the wasps couldn't reach them. They swam down the river until they resurfaced and climbed onto Anarka Couffaine's boat. "What, you think I'm a catfish?"

"I don't know, but I do know we're gonna have to come up with another plan. LUCKY CHARM!" Ladybug twirled her yo-yo in the air and its magic created... "A snorkel?"

"Your Lucky Charm has a great sense of humour: at least you won't drown."

Chat Noir's joke gave her an idea. "Drown! That's the idea: wasps don't like water!" Her Lucky Vision highlighted an inflatable duck, a roll of tape, a hose and three garbage bins. "We're going to have to get dirty again."

"That's ironic, we just took a bath."

But before Ladybug could even begin her plan, they heard the sound of gunfire. They turned to the direction of the Grand Paris and saw Queen Wasp spiraling down into the streets below. "Looks like someone decided not to wait around," said Big-Head.

"She might be in trouble," said Chat Noir. "Come on!"

The trio found Wasp Queen in the middle of the road, her legs curled in. Standing before her was Walter, armed with a smoking elephant gun. In his other hand was the Bee Miraculous. His hand clenched until there was a loud crunch and the comb snapped in two, releasing the Akuma before he caught it, crushing it into dust.

"Not what we wanted, but I'll take it," said Big-Head. Walter grabbed Big-Head by the throat and slammed him to the ground. "That was a compliment, Walter!" He tossed Big-Head into the Grand Paris' lobby, and Chat Noir and Ladybug winced as they heard crashing

"I better finish this before they destroy the hotel. No more evildoing for you, little Akuma. Time to de-evilize!" She captured the Akuma and purified it. "Gotcha!" But when she opened her yo-yo to release it, all that came out was white dust. Just like every time Walter destroyed one. And every time that happened, Ladybug always felt sad for it. Then she tossed the snorkel up into the air and shouted, "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" It exploded into a wave of black and red spots that undid all the battle damage, freed everyone from the paralysis and turned Queen Wasp turned back into Chloe.

Ladybug and Chat Noir knew the spell worked because people inside the Grand Paris screamed and ran out as Walter and Big-Head crashed through a wall. "You sure know how to clear a room, Frankenstein!" Walter responded by grabbing his head and shoving it down into the ground. Then he kicked him in the posterior, sending him flying across the rooftops. "I'll be baaaaack!"

Ladybug approached the giant. "The Miraculous. Give it to me, Walter." He stared at her for a moment, then extended his hand out to her when...

"NO!" Chloe snatched the comb out of his hand and held it close. "Please! Give me another chance, Ladybug!"

At that moment, Nadja Chamack pulled up in her van with a tablet in her hands. In it was live footage of Mrs. Bourgeois. "Audrey Bourgeois, tell us live how you feel about what just happened."

Mrs. Bourgeois just scoffed. "According to me, Chloé just clearly demonstrated that there is nothing exceptional about her."

The poor girl fell to her knees, on the verge of crying again. "I know that you did the things you did to impress your mother," Chat Noir said, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Anyone can make mistakes, even a superhero," said Ladybug. "What matters is how you fix them. I personally made one by losing that Miraculous. Don't make the mistake of not giving it back. Act like a hero."

"And show everyone how exceptional you can be."

Slowly and hesitantly, Chloe gave the comb to Ladybug. "Thank you."

Before the heroes left, Chloe stopped them and said, "Wait. I...I'm sorry." The two of them smiled before they left.

Some time later, Audrey was waiting at the helipad of the mayor's office, tapping her foot impatiently. "Time to go, ma'am," the pilot called out from the cockpit.

Audrey made an annoyed sound as she said, "I give her the chance of a lifetime and she dares to be late?! Unacceptable, utterly unacceptable."

"Should we leave?"

"No… give it one minute more."

Marinette was on a mission as she ascended the elevator of the Grand Paris hotel. "Are you really okay with this, Marinette," asked Tikki from her purse.

"I thought about it long and hard, Tikki. I'm sure I'm making the right decision." She knocked on the door to Chloe's room.

"Go away!"

"That was the plan, but no."

Chloe opened the door and was surprised to find her rival. "Dupain-Cheng?"

"Well, well. It's about time. We can take off, now," Audrey said bitterly as she saw Marinette with her daughter What's-Her-Name behind her.

"I won't be coming to New York with you," Marinette said, shocking the fashion empress. "I still have so many things to do here. All the people I love are here: my parents, my friends."

"You're making a mistake, Marinette!"

Marinette shook her head. "I think you're wrong. A huge part of your life is here in Paris, too!"

Chloe stepped forward. "Chlorene? Uh— Chloé?"

Chloe took one look at her mother and asked sadly, "Why don't you love me, Mom?"

"But… Uh— Of course I l-l-love you."

It didn't really sound that convincing. Marinette knew what she had to do, even if it meant incurring both Bourgeois ladies' wrath. "You're also wrong about your daughter not being exceptional. In fact, Chloé is exceptionally mean. She's the worst person I've ever met. She may be more heinous, pompous and selfish than you. Compared to both of you, even a rock seems more capable of love."

"HOW DARE YOU?!" Mother and daughter shouted.

"See? You're both much more alike than you think." And with that, Marinette left, humming a happy tune.

"Are you as mean as this… Maria… says?" Mrs. Bourgeois had already forgotten Marinette's name.

Chloe made a smirk. "Well, I don't have one single friend in school except for Sabrina, but she doesn't realize that I'm just using her." She whispered to her mother, "My favourite hobby is giving Jean-Louis a hard time."

"You mean Jean-Yves."

"Oh, who cares what his name is." The spoiled girl shouted to her butler, "Jean-thingy, put my luggage in there! No, not like that?! Take them out and stack them from smallest to the biggest!"

Mrs. Bourgeois smiled a warm smile. "I think I may have judged you unfairly, Chloé. Martha… uh— Marinette's right, you are exceptional, just like me." She pulled her daughter into a hug. "I've decided I'm staying in Paris with you."

"So we're not going to the airport after all, then," the helicopter pilot called out.

Both Bourgeois ladies shouted, "YOU'RE FIRED!"

Gabriel rested his hand on his wife's pod. "Ladybug and Chat Noir and Big-Head made a mistake today… and there will be others. Then, we'll finally be together once again… my love."

Nathalie approached him from behind and said, "You said you were going to stop."

"I can't give up, Nathalie. I miss her too much."

Nathalie lowered her head. "I understand...sir."

"Are you sure that you won't regret this, Marinette," Mr. Dupain-Cheng asked his daughter after she returned home.

"I'm sure, Dad. Paris is my city. Our city. Besides, everyone I love is here."

Mrs. Dupain-Cheng smiled and nodded, approving her daughter's decision.

"Yeah… and one guy in particular," Alya whispered to Marinette.

"And my best friend," Marinette responded, giving her a hug.

Adrien was focusing hard on his studies, ignoring Plagg's antics. "He knows something."

"Who knows what?"

"Rudi. He knew what a kwami is, like he saw one before. I don't like it, Plagg. I think we need to keep a closer eye on him."
