1 more month until the wedding. Jay had been going to therapy and he was finally feeling like he had a clear head since his father passed away. Maybe therapy wasn't a completely bad idea after all.

Jay woke up to Erin frantically running around the living room chasing after their daughter, he stood in the doorframe of their bedroom and laughed, when Erin caught a glimpse of him she stood there frustrated with her hands on her hips.

"One of those mornings huh?" Jay chuckled.

"She will not sit still and I'm trying to get her ready as well as myself and it's not possible. How does she have so much energy, she barely slept a wink all night. Also remind me to buy pull ups from the shops now because these aren't at all helpful." Erin said holding up Lilys regular nappies as she collapsed in Jays arms.

"How about you jump in the shower and I will get Lil ready?" Jay suggested.

"Yes please, you can deal with the devil."

"At least she's a cute devil."

"Yeah sure, a cure devil that just wants to run around nude and doesn't want to sleep." Jay and Erin both laughed.

Lily stood there giggling as her parents watched her, "Dada."

"Yes dada is going to try dress you," Erin said passing Jay Lily's nappy and clothes.

"Come on munchkin." Jay said quickly walking towards Lily and grabbing her before she could go anywhere.

Jay laid her down on the ground as he wrestled her to get her dressed, "It's a lot tougher now your active huh?"

She giggled and then walked off to her dollhouse, the very expensive dollhouse Hank had bought, she was definitely a very spoilt little girl.

After Erin's shower she walked out in her robe and hair tied up in a towel, "This place looks like a bomb."

"Well I have the day off so I will try clean up while you and Lil have your mummy daughter day with the other girls?" Jay suggested.

"Now that you have said that you will get called in." Erin sighed.

"Sorry," Jay said pulling Erin down to the couch, "You know this place only looks like a disaster because she has so much stuff for such a little apartment."

"It's not that little Jay."

"Well it's not that big either."

"Jay we are already organising a wedding as well as a one year olds birthday," Erin paused pointing at Jay, "Also don't know how we decided it was a good idea to have both in the same week."

"Yeah I don't know what we were thinking." Jay chuckled.

"Anyway my point is, we don't have the time nor do we really have the money at the moment."

Jay looked at her confused, "We have plenty of money Erin, I'm not saying we need to move into a big extravagant house."

"Do we really want that anyway? House in the suburbs?" Erin asked him.

"I want..."

"What you want," Erin said finishing his sentence, "Yeah yeah, I have heard it all too many times."

"It's true though." Jay shrugged.

"How about we just wait until we are married and then talk about it?" Erin suggested.

"Okay deal," Jay nodded then looked down at his watch, "Now aren't you meant to be meeting Kim like 10 minutes ago?"

"Tell me again why I thought having her as my maid of honour was a good idea? That woman will be the death of me."

"You have left it a little late to find a dress, hasn't she been on your case since i proposed?" Jay raised an eyebrow.

"Don't you start," Erin said shooting hun daggers, he quickly raised his arms in defence, "Come on sweetheart."

Erin knelt down and Lily quickly ran into her mothers arms, "Wish me luck. Say bye daddy."

"Love you too. Bye bye munchkin." Jay said as he kissed them both and waved goodbye, shutting the door behind them.

Erin was joined by Kim, Hailey and Natalie in the bridal store, Natalie was thankfully keeping Lily somewhat occupied but Erin knew she'd be down anytime soon, she was just fighting her nap because so much was happening.

"So how's everything with you and Jay?" Natalie asked.

"Better, the first few days were hard especially after the funeral but he's better now." Erin smiled.

"He definitely took it harder then Will." Natalie said sadly.

"Yeah, he said somethings that he wish he could have taken back, but he's forgiven himself, moved on and stopped thinking about it otherwise it would have just eaten him up inside."

"It helps to have such a strong woman beside him." Kim said.

"It's not just one woman, he has multiple people that have his back, that's what gets him through at the end of the day." Erin said giving Hailey's hand a squeeze.

"Anyway, this is meant to be a fun moment, so Erin what are we thinking?" Kim said changing the conversation.

"I honestly have no idea, maybe just nothing over the top?" Erin suggested.

"Let's get too it then, and then we will need to find this little princess a ball gown too." Natalie said as she poked Lily's belly, causing her so giggle with a big smile.

After wedding dress shopping and thankfully Erin found the perfect one they decided to go to lunch, it was rare they actually got to spend a day together so they thought making the most of it was well overdue.

Lily was sleeping soundly in her pram next to Erin. Kim peeped in and smiled towards Erin, "When you going to have another one?"

"Not anytime soon." Erin chuckled.

"Seriously? I thought you'd be eager to pop another one out." Kim said shocked.

"It's not that we don't plan on it we just want to wait a little longer, we are content being a family of three and also Jay wants to maybe start looking at buying a house in the suburbs." Erin explained.

"Oh really? Wow that's big." Hailey said.

"It sure is." Erin nodded.

"You don't seem thrilled?" Natalie questioned.

"I don't know it's just a big step. Never imagined us moving to the suburbs." Erin shrugged.

"This one wasn't planned though and look how much joy she has bought into your life." Kim said admiring Lily.

"I guess your right." Erin smiled.

"So have you planned this ones first birthday? I remember how much work it was when I planned Owens first birthday." Natalie said.

"I have no idea why we thought it was a good idea to have a birthday and wedding in the same week," They all chuckled, "But her birthday is the Monday so we are having something small at the park on the Sunday before."

"Well if you need any help just ask, I'm sure everyone is happy to chip in." Hailey said looking around the table and the other girls agreed straight away.

"Thanks, you guys are the best."

A couple days later and Erin had a day off so she was getting as much done as possible around the house while Jay and Lily weren't home to distract her. She had tidied up the kitchen and living area, sorted all of Lily's toys out so all she had to do was washing. And there was a lot, once everything was folded she started putting everything away. Usually with Jays stuff she'd leave it aside because he was very picky and particular with her things went, stupid ranger training she always thought.

As she was putting away his socks she found a pile of house brochures, which didn't surprise her but why would Jay feel the need to have to hide them from her? Before she could think about it for too long she heard a knock at the door. She set them down and walked to the door, not even checking to see who it was.

"Mum?"

"Erin! It is so good to see you." Bunny said with open arms as she stepped inside giving Erin an awkward hug.

"What are you doing here? How did you find out where I lived?" Erin said still in shock, she hadn't seen her mother since she left to go to New York and since then she cut off all ties. Hoping to never have to deal with her again.

Bunny walked in without an invitation as she started gazing around the apartment, "Long story, but I'm glad I found you, I have missed you so much," she paused the started pointing around, "You babysitting or something?"

"Bunny what are you doing here?"

Bunny squinted her eyes as she saw a picture of Erin, Jay and Lily, "Who's this? Do you have a daughter?"

"Mom!" Erin shouted.

"I just wanted to say hi. I haven't seen you in two years, I missed my daughter! Now tell me who this is?"

"Yes I have a daughter. Congratulations your a grandmother." Erin joked walking over to grab the photo out of her mother's hands.

"I want to meet her."

"No." Erin shook her head.

"No? I'm sorry but I think I have the right to see my grandchild."

"You gave that right up when you stopped being a mother. You have caused me nothing but drama in my life, I certainly don't want that in my daughters. I'd just prefer it if you left." Erin said pointing to the door.

Bunny gasped, she quickly walked towards Erin and grabbed her hand, looking down at the engagement ring that sparkled on her finger, "Your getting married too."

"Like you care."

"Of course I care, I'm your mother."

Erin scoffed, "Right."

"So your finally marrying that detective? I always thought you would have ended up with Landon. Guess he's your daughters daddy too? How did Hank Voight feel when his precious little daughter figure got knocked up by someone at work?"

"How dare you. Jays going to be the perfect husband, better then any other man you have ever married and also Hanks feelings have nothing to do with you. Least he cares."

"Oh baby I care, I found you didn't I. Let me be apart of your daughters life? What's her name anyway?"

"Lily." Erin said bluntly.

"That's beautiful. She beautiful just like you. Please let me meet her. Please."

Erin paused for a moment, "Fine. But not now, you will meet her when I think the time is right."

"Okay, okay. Thank you baby." Bunny smiled, bringing her daughter in for a hug.

"I will call you, you still have the same number?" Bunny nodded, "I will be in touch."

Bunny nodded and made her way to the door, she quickly gave Erin another hug before she left. Now all that was on her mind was why the hell was bunny back.

Jay walked In with Lily on his hip and a bag of Chinese in his hand. Erin smiled from the couch when she saw him. He was perfect, no matter how bad her day was he could always make her smile. Jay bent down to put Lily down, she started running towards Erin so excited to see her mum.

"Hey gorgeous girl. Did you have a good day?"

"Ya." Lily nodded.

"She painted us a few pictures." Jay said walking over to pass Erin some artwork.

Erin smiled, "Munckin these are so great!"

Lily squealed and got even more excited as Erin talked to her about the artwork she did and what else she got up to at daycare. Wasn't exactly a well put together chat, more just babbles but it was still perfect.

Jay set up for dinner while Erin got some food ready for Lily, then they all sat down at the dining table. Once they were eating Erin grabbed the brochures out of her back pocket and slid them over to Jay. He looked up worried, "Er."

"I don't know why you feel like you have to hide them from me."

"I just don't want you to feel like I'm pushing you."

Erin chuckled, "Funny when that's all you talk about."

"Erin."

"Well? It is, that and babies."

"Well sorry if I want another one of these." Jay said trying to make a joke out of it when he pinched Lily's cheek.

"Jay don't distract her," Erin said annoyed, "Also bunny showed up today."

Jay stopped pulling faces at Lily straight away and put his fork down, "Excuse me?"

"You finished baby girl? How about a bath." Erin said as she grabbed Lily out of the high chair, "Let's go clean you up."

"We are so not done talking about this." Jay said angrily as he watched them walk off.

Jay was scrubbing the dishes when Erin finished bathing and putting Lily to bed. She walked up and sat on the stool cautiously. She knew he knew she was there so she waited for him to say something, "Why?"

"I have no idea."

Jay turned around and dried his hands before grabbing a beer for the both of them, he passed one to Erin and then leant of the counter across from her, "Well what did she say."

"Just that she missed me and she wanted to see me." Erin shrugged.

"Wait, how did she even find out when we lived?"

"No idea."

Jay shook his head, "Okay what else?"

"Well she figured out we had a daughter and that we were getting married so now she wants to meet her."

"No."

"Jay..."

"Erin no fucking way." Jay said cutting her off.

"Just think about it?"

"At least let me figure out why the hell she is here."

"Okay." Erin nodded.

"And about the house thing I am sorry, also the baby thing."

"I'm not saying it's never going to happen, just not now."

"Maybe one day?" Jay smirked, trying to lighten the mood."

"Oh definitely." Erin chuckled.
