The entire team walked out of the bar and headed for their respective vehicles. Emily hesitated to head down the street to the strip bar and see if Sonny was there or not. Yet something in her, held her back. Did she really want to see him in that kind of environment? It was best she went home.

When she reached her truck, Emily reached in her pockets in search of her car keys.

Eric saw her head back towards the inside of the bar as he pulled his car out of his parking spot. He rolled down his window. "Em?"

"I forgot my car keys inside."

"You want me to go with you or wait for you?"

She looked at him with a smile. "Nah, it'll just take a minute, don't wait for me."

"You're sure?"

"Eric, yes. That guy is long gone."

"Ok sis, I'll see you tomorrow."

"Night," she said as she opened the bar door and went back in. She went to the back and looked around.

"You looking for these?"

She turned around and found Carl the bartender in front of her, car keys in hand.

"Yes. Thanks."

"Sure, no problem. Good thing you came back. I'm about to close. Goodnight Emily."

She smiled as she took them from his hand. "Goodnight Carl."

Emily walked out and headed for her truck that was one of the last ones, aside from Carl's.

She took her key and unlocked the door from afar. Out of the darkness he saw the guy place himself next to her truck.

She was about to walk back toward the bar when she realized that he wasn't alone. There were two other guys with him.

"I don't want any trouble," she said her gaze going from one to the other as she reached inside her pocket for her phone, assessing the threat just like she would out in the field. The threat was serious and imminent. Furthermore, just by looking at the guy you could tell he hadn't really sobered up much from their last encounter.

"I told you I wanted to have a good time. Was that so hard? All you had to do was spread your legs for me. What's the matter, cause I'm not Navy I'm not good enough for you?"

"Hey man, she's got a phone!" yelled one of the guys behind her as he hastened in her direction. She only had the time to speed dial a number, but in all honesty, she was incapable of knowing if it was Eric, Sonny or Ray who were the only ones in her speed dial to date or even if the call went through.

The guy behind grabbed her and in the struggle of her defense, the mobile phone went flying to the ground.

She flipped the guy that had grabbed her from behind, in one swift move, and sent him crashing to the ground. She lifted her hands up in the air, in defense, and did a 360 to see the two remaining guys. "I said, I didn't want any trouble. Please."

Seeing the guys continue in her direction, she tried to head back towards the bar as she called out Carl's name. She could potentially handle one guy, maybe two, but as the third guy rose to his feet, she knew she was outnumbered. Her only option was the bar or the street; but it was further than the bar or hope that whoever she sped-dialed had picked up and was on their way back to help her.

She made a run for the door, but the guy from the bar, grabbed her from behind firmly and placed a hand on her mouth. She wriggled and tried to free her mouth from his hold, in doing so, one of his fingers slid inside and she bit him. He let go of her, sending her in a turn so that the was facing him. He immediately sent a strong firm slap across her face.

One of the other guys grabbed her and secured her arms as the other guy sucked his finger. "You bitch! Let's see if you're still as tough without your Navy buddies around."

Emily threw her head back, sending it crashing in the guy's face behind her. He let go of her long enough for her to throw a jab to the guy from the bar. She was used to close hand combat and she didn't even feel the sting on her fist.

Before she could send another punch at him, not just the one guy but the other managed to grab her and immobilize her. She saw the look in the guy's eye, he was enraged and in a fury. Apparently, he couldn't handle the fact that a woman had punched him.

She defied him. "What's the matter, you need your guys to help you out. It's easy beating someone who's unable to fight back. You're a coward."

He sent a punch in her abdomen. "You know, all you needed to do was give me a good time."

He sent another punch to her side.

Initially she took the blows without showing too much pain. But as he went for more rounds, she started to moan. He slapped her fiercely in the face and even though she was being held it sent her crashing to the ground so fiercely and quickly that she couldn't cushion her fall. She could taste the blood in her mouth as she lifted her face from the concrete.

The guy kicked her a couple of times in the flank, before running away as a couple passed further down the parking lot in the street. In the process, he crushed her phone with his foot.

Emily tried to push herself up, but she was not only in too much pain, but she also didn't have the strength to. She spit the blood from inside her mouth. She was having a hard time focusing and the parking lot was spinning. As she was closer to the bar than her car, she dragged herself to the door. As she reached the door, she used the handle to pull herself up. She opened the door slowly.

"We're closed," said Carl as he heard the door close. He turned around and looked at the scene in utter shock. Emily was leaning against the door. She had multiple scrapes in the face and torso, she was bleeding from the side of her eye, nose, and mouth.

He watched as she slid alongside the door and reached the ground, unable to stay on her feet. "Emily!" he yelled out to her as he went around the bar, grabbed his cellphone, and went to her.
