Hi readers!
So as y'all know – the gang are going back to school.
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Wow autocorrect really doesn't like me being excited on here…..
Enjoy!
Annabeth stood in the mirror. Piper,Hazel and Thalia were all rushing around her room trying to get ready in time. She however, had woken early despite the events of the night before.
She wore a thin grey jumper and a black skirt with leggings. She pulled on her knee length boots and sat on her bed checking her text messages.
There was one from Percy wishing her a good morning. What she realised though, was that there weren't any from Luke.
She felt relieved.
Maybe he had been scared off by the police?
She saw that the girls were ready and grabbed her coat, pulling it on and then her bag.
They all walked down the stairs talking to each other then walked out the front door calling goodbye.
The 4 traipsed the streets with bubbly movements.
Along the way they were joined by Percy, Jason and Grover.
"Hey!" Percy smiled at her walking beside her on the grey pavement.
"Hi!" She replied.
They held hands as they walked towards the rough iron gates that welcomed them to the school.
On its brick wall, the building had a bulletin board that held the schools mantra.
'Goode is good.'
Honestly it wasn't all that…
Walking into the building, they got to their lockers and rushed to put their things in so they could quickly get to their regular lunch table at the centre of the cafeteria.
Despite their best efforts though they found it already occupied.
By Luke and his cronies.
Seething anger trapped itself into the friends bodies and Thalia began to walk angrily to the table, to obviously give Luke a piece of her mind, but was pulled back at the last minute by Will who must have arrived earlier than them.
"There's no point!" He told her. "I've managed to get a spot in the library though for now since Annabeth works there."
Luke looked up and caught Annabeth's eye with a smirk.
She turned away and followed the rest of her friends.
It turned out that the spot in the library was actually quite nice.
While they weren't allowed to make too much noise, it looked pretty cool. There were multiple fairy lights strung around the cosy area and bean bags as well as a poof chair.
They all sat down and waited for the rest of their friends to arrive.
When they did, no happy reunions were made. They had spent most of the holiday with each other after all.
"Okay!" Thalia stood up yelling.
The librarian had to walk over to them and ask them to be a bit more quiet.
"Okay!" She said more quietly. "We have to come up with something to get our turf back from that blonde, blue – eyed troll!"
"Would you care to elaborate?" Travis asked tiredly.
"Your supposed to be the prankster here you should come up with something.
"Well." Connor jumped in. "We don't know anything about him really so we need to find someone who knows SOMETHING about him that could help."
Everyone turned to Annabeth who looked down.
"Well?" Connor prodded.
"Don't put too much pressure on her. You don't know what he could've done to cause so much hate between the both." Thalia said. "I obviously want to get rid of him but we need to think more carefully."
Percy nodded, "and it's not the sort of thing that'll stand out either."
The bell rang signalling home room was beginning.
"Well time's up so we should go." Jason said being the sensible one.
"And can someone please find somewhere better for us to meet up!" Leo groaned. "I can't stand having to be so quiet."
The librarian walked up to them again.
"Mr Valdez I have already asked you and your friends to be quiet once. This time it's a detention!"
They walked out glaring at him.
"Sorry", he muttered sheepishly as they walked their separate ways.
Percy and Annabeth got to their classroom before the second bell.
They sat in their seats at the back and waited for Ms Dodds to walk in.
"You okay?" Percy asked Annabeth as she pulled out her planner.
"I've been better." She replied.
Ms Dodds walked in before either could say anything else.
She walked in with another student.
One the couple resented.
"Everyone I would like to introduce our new addition to home room this year" She began in her snotty voice. "Mr Luke Castellan."
A shiver ran down Annabeth's spine as she heard the last two words.
This was going to be a long semester.
Okay that is IT for this week. (Cos tomorrow is Monday and all).
So I'll try to update tomorrow. Hope you all liked this chapter.
