Don't judge me. Stop looking at me like that.

Anyways. OH MY GOD. It's so cold in Texas. We are not made to handle this. This is the first time I've ever even seen an icicle. I think global warming works reverse in texas. while the rest of the world heats up, texas cools down. Were getting out second snow of the year on Monday. We already broke the record for most snowfall in a year in Texas for the last 100 years just a few weeks ago, and now we're adding to that. I know 20 degrees is nothing compared to those up north but in Texas it's torture. Just like 80 degrees is torture for you guys in the colder places. AHHH my hands are freezing.

Jack opened his eyes.

"What the..." Jack and multiple other animals he knew were standing around a large circular table, with a large red button in the middle, that said "EMERGENCY". As jack watched, the other animals began to open their eyes. He counted them off. Skye was standing next to him. Then there was Nick and Judy. After that was Delphin and Pulchra. Then Simon and Lily. Finally, there were Wolford and Fangmeyer. 5 couples. 10 people.

"Where are we?" Nick asked, looking around in bewilderment. He focused on the rest of them. "Guys? What are you doing here?"

"I don't know how we got here," Delphin said. "One minute I close my eyes, the next I'm here."

They all voiced the same. Then, recognition seemed to dawn on Nick's face.

"Wait, I know this place." He said, his eyes narrowing as he looked around the room. "This is the Scorpion map in that new computer game I got, Among Zoo."

"He's right," Jack said, know recognizing the room himself. The other animals realized it as well. Everyone was talking about this game. All of the sudden, delphin paled.

"Doesn't that mean that one of us is an 'imposter'?" He said. Everyone's eyes narrowed glancing at the people standing next to them.

"Okay we need a plan," Nick said. "The objective of the game is to complete tasks and get rid of imposters. Maybe if we do that, we can escape."

The animals split up to go do tasks. Jack and Skye walked into the Admin area. Jack began to try to do the card swipe, while Skye tried not to laugh. After multiple failed attempts, Jack threw the card at the wall in anger. Skye walked over, picked it up, and slid it through the reader. The green light that flashed made Jack even angrier. He crossed his arms and grumbled. Skye laughed when suddenly a scream was heard.

Wolford was connecting the wires when he heard footsteps behind him.

"Fangmeyer? That you?" He said, not looking up. No answer. Only the sound of a knife being pulled. "Wait. Oh sh-"

Fangmeyer screamed as she gazed in horror at the scene before her. Her handsome Wolford, laying on the ground in a pool of blood, a stab wound deep in his chest. Everybody exploded into the room.

"What's wrong!" Jack said. Then he spotted Wolford. The tigress fell to her knees, sobbing uncontrollably. Nick bent down to comfort her.

"Fangmeyer listen. I'm sure he's not really dead. If this is anything like the game, he's just a ghost and we can't see him. When the game ends, he'll be good as new."

Fangmeyer sniveled miserably. She looked at her lover's body once more, before following the animals back to the cafeteria.

"Who can be accounted for?" Jack asked.

"Skye and I were in Admin," Jack said.

"Lily and I were making out- I mean doing Trash and Fuel in Storage," Simon said. Lily smacked him upside the head.

"Pulchra and I were in electrical," Delphin said.

"Fangmeyer what about you?"

"I was in Medbay. Wolford and I split up there." The tigress said dejectedly.

"What about you two?" Simon said, pointing at Nick and Judy.

"We split up as well," Nick said. "I was doing Asteroids, while Judy went down to do Navigation."

"So neither of you can clear each other," Delphin said accusingly.

"Hey! It could just as easily have been another couple. " Skye said in their defense.

"Alright, we don't need to vote anyone out yet. Let's continue our tasks."

The next few minutes were uneventful. People tried to avoid each other in the hallways and tensed whenever someone got close. All of the sudden, Alarms began to blare and an automated voice chimed.

"Reactor meltdown imminent."

The animals met in the cafeteria and began to run to the reactor. But when they got there they were met with another gruesome scene. Delphin had a large hole right through his head, but it wasn't from a bullet. They stabilized the reactor and headed back to the cafeteria.

"We were all separated this time. And no one came from that direction." Jack said. "Someone on this ship is lying."

And that was how it went. The next body to be found was Fangmeyers. Then Pulchra's. The worst was when Lily got killed.

Nick and Judy were in Reactor when an ear-splitting howl of anguish filled the air. They ran to Electrical where the sound was coming from. They found Simon cradling Lily in his arms, crying even harder than Fangmeyer.

"Oh, we should not have split up.!" He moaned. "Oh, my poor sweet Lily."

"Simon, come on," Nick said, touching his friend's shoulder gently. "We need to finish the game."

They practically had to pry the sobbing, sniveling, howling, wreck of a wolf away from Lily's body.

Then, they found Simon dead in O2. They still had not the sli8ghest idea though. But now it was only Nick, Judy, Jack, and Skye.

"Okay, nobody leaves this room," Nick said as they sat around the table in the cafeteria. "We'll just wait for the imposter out. They can't kill if were all he-"

Suddenly the doors closed and the lights shut off, plunging the room. From the far side, there was a flash and the sound of a gunshot." The lights flipped back on and everyone stared in horror at Jack's now dead body. Neither had heard one of them move.

They all scooted away from each other. Accusing glances were being directed at Skye however.

"Alright Skye, the jigs up," Judy said.

"What?! But it's not me!" She shrieked.

"I vote for Skye," Judy said aloud. A dot appeared above Skye's head.

"Wait!"

"I vote for Skye," Nick said.

"NO!" And just like that, Ske disappeared. But there was no victory screen, nor a defeat one. The game just went on.

Something dawned on Nick. He and Judy had been separated at each time the killings happened. And Jack and Skye had been accounted for in the first meeting.

"Oh shit." Nick whipped around to see Judy holding a gun, a pouty look on her face.

"Sorry Slick," She said, a sad smile on her lips. "But I play to win."

Judy pulled the trigger.

Nick sat up, startled. He almost fell out of his chair before he caught himself. He looked around and realized he had fallen asleep at his computer. A game of Among Zoo was on the screen. Nick shuddered, remembering his dream. He uninstalled the game and left the room, turning off the light. He climbed into bed and wrapped his tail around Judy. He fell asleep within a minute.

However, he did not notice when Judy's eyes opened and she silently grabbed the knife on the bedstand and put it in a box under the bed. Judy closed her eyes and went back to sleep, her foxes warmth enveloping her as she drifted into dreams of imposters.
