Heidi had been wandering around for only about thirty minutes as looked for the, surprisingly, elusive Ara. She was now outside thanks to a tip from Audrey and her roses. Apparently, Ara was near...a hedge maze? That struck her as odd but she shrugged it off since Ara might just be doing something near the maze and not actually trying to do the maze…
The bluenette shook her head as she sensed Ara and began making her way over. Hopefully I don't screw this up any more. She thought, remaining silent while she looked up at the sky.
Ara hummed as she floated on her cloud. She was currently in the middle of building a tower made completely of bubbles. The task was surprisingly relaxing. She hadn't gotten to waste time in such a carefree manner in a long while. She was completely enjoying it. She floated down to the lower levels of the tower to add more support bubbles as she continued to hum.
As Heidi approached the girl, she looked up and stared at the tower with a raised eyebrow. "Um...Ara?" She asked as calmly as possible, hoping she didn't cause anything to happen to the tower.
Ara was about to add another bubble before the sound of the voice caught her attention. Her head whipped around in surprise. "Heidi? You...look well." She said, remembering that the woman was in a wheelchair earlier.
Heidi lifted the arm with the large silver cuff on it and shrugged. "Ama just gave me this so I could handle the Olympus thing...I'm taking it off soon since I sort of liked the wheels." She said, looking at the large gem before letting her arm fall back to her side.
Ara added a few more bubbles. "You and Ama are pretty close, aren't you?" She said before her cloud floated upward to add more support to a higher area.
"I...kept her company when she traveled and couldn't get back to earth. Just over the phone...we rarely speak face to face due to her job out there." Heidi explained with a head tilt.
Ara shrugged at that as she commanded her cloud to go higher. "So...did you want me to do anything for you?" She glanced at her.
Heidi took a deep breath as she subconsciously made herself float up using the wind. "I...wanted to talk about something with you and show you something I found earlier." She said, maneuvering into a cross-sitting position mid-air.
Ara didn't look at her this time. She just kept working on her tower. "I suppose I do have some spare time." She said, adding tiny snowflakes to the bubbles so they'd sparkle.
"If it wasn't of the utmost importance...I wouldn't be stealing your precious time away." Heidi said while looking down as she made her notepad appear.
Ara sighed through her nose as she worked. "Alright. What did you want to tell me?"
"I wanted to ask about a few things...and tell you something. Remember how I said...that I had no memory of anything that happened when I came here...or when we were in my world?" Heidi asked as she took a deep breath and looked up at her.
Ara nodded in affirmation. "Yes, I do...why do you ask?" She looked at Heidi out of the corners of her eyes.
"I...found something that argues that statement. It never really stuck with me since it was random...but it's something I didn't think was possible." Heidi said, seeming at a loss for words as she looked down at her notepad.
Ara blinked before turning to her. "Heidi, what are you talking about?" She asked her cluelessly.
Heidi closed her eyes before floating up to her. "I...Audrey asked me one day to think up names. I humored her since she...was in that mood some women get when they see a baby." She said with a shake of her head as she opened her eyes to stare at the notepad.
Ara looked down at the notepad with a tilt of her head. "Arabella and Haze?" She questioned before her eyes widened. "...Why these? Of all other names?" She looked at her with unsurity.
Heidi shook her head. "She told me to think of names for girls and...those were the first two. Audrey asked me why and I just said that they sound like names that belonged to good people...that I liked them. We had a massive debate over names and I...just kept defending my choices." She said, sounding highly confused with herself. "And I didn't even know why…"
Ara's eyes leaked out many tears as she listened to her. She looked back at the notebook before fully breaking down in a crying fit.
Heidi stared at her in shock. "I-I'm sorry. Ugh, and I've screwed up again." She said, mumbling the last part to herself before floating a bit closer.
Ara, in the middle of her fit, looked at her with glassy eyes. "I-I-I thought...you...I-I...thought...you abandoned me...and l-left me be-hind." She said, still crying heavily.
Heidi blinked as she was finally at the same level as her. "I...didn't mean to." She mumbled and shook her head. "All I knew...was that if I...if Audrey and I had two girls I was going to argue for those two names…" She said with a nervous look in her eyes, looking unsure what to do at the moment since she didn't want to mess anything up.
Ara put the notebook down, suddenly not looking too well. "After...a-a-all that happ-end t-to you...y-you were t-there for me...b-but I a-a-abandoned you…" She said, closing her eyes as she gave way to more tears.
Heidi blinked once more before gently bringing the girl into a hug. "No...If anything it was on me." She mumbled, patting the girl on the back.
"It w-wasn't your fault...I...I s-should h-have had m-m-more faith…" She said, sniffling as she leaned into the hug.
"I said I would be visiting...and I didn't. So...I think that really points to me and my mom issues." Heidi said with the smallest of smiles.
"What's my excuse?" She said with the smallest voice. "Y-you had your memories ripped to shreds. Me? My m-memory is fine. I l-let my s-stupid th-thoughts get to me again. I-I call myself y-your best friend...I don't think I d-deserve the title." She said with a hiccup.
"And I let my stupid mother beat me so easily...I think that it is me who should get a few titles knocked off of the list." Heidi mumbled back. "Especially since I...It was almost like my brain was trying to send me a sign with Ama...yet I never picked up on it." She said softly with a sigh.
Ara whimpered before saying, "...I'm sorry. I really thought…I just...don't like the feeling of being l-left behind." She said in a whisper.
"It's okay...I'm the same way. When you...started not seeing me around here...I thought the worse and...thought that you'd prefer anybody else over me." Heidi said back in a tiny voice.
Ara opened her eyes and a few years escaped. "I didn't want to get hurt again. I...remember when you told me about your memory, but...I didn't want to get attached and…" She shook her head.
"...Because of what my mother did to the rest of my friends and family...I didn't want to danger you all...so I kept my distance…" Heidi said with a soft sigh. "If I...show that any of you mean something to me, she'll just destroy you like everything else...So I was afraid...afraid to get close to anybody." She mumbled out while closing her eyes.
Ara looked up at her. "...Really?" She asked, wiping her face.
Heidi nodded. "Yeah...My mother destroyed everything else she could reach...and I didn't want her to do the same to you." She said with a sniff as she took a deep breath to try and calm down.
Ara took a breath. "I still care about you. I want to help you. I just didn't stick around you because I thought I'd wake up one morning...and you'd be gone again." She said with a hiccup.
"There's only one person who can get rid of me...and she can't reach me at the moment," Heidi said with a shaky smile.
Ara wrapped her arms around Heidi as a few more tears escaped. "I missed you." She said shakily.
Heidi nodded in reply with a soft sniff as she hugged the girl. "S-Same." She replied, her voice stuttering with emotion.
Ara smiled before parting and wiping at her eyes. "I'm glad I have you back." She said, evening out her breath.
Heidi nodded once more. "I'm glad that I don't have to try and hide…" She said with a shaky smile and a cracking voice.
This time, Ara brought her into an embrace. "No, you don't. If you ever had second thoughts about the plan, I will keep my promise to you. I will protect you with my life if I have to. We are not friends. We are family." She said with a shaky smile.
At this, Heidi finally started crying and hugged back tightly. "T-Thank you…" She said through a hiccup while sniffing a bit as her voice continued to crack.
Ara shakily nodded. "Don't thank me yet. We still have to make it out alive, which we will. I believe we can do this." She said, still holding her smile. "You're not alone." She patted her on the back and rocked her ever so slightly.
Heidi let out the tiniest of whimpers at that and closed her eyes. "P-Promise?" She asked in a shaky voice, hiccupping soon afterward.
Ara nodded, her eyes still very glassy. "I promise. I'm not going anywhere." She said, repeating her words from when she was younger.
"...I-I won't let her hurt y-you." Heidi said to her with a sniff as she tried to calm herself down.
Ara nodded as she patted the bluenette on the head. "I know you won't. I trust you." She said with a small smile, feeling drowsy all of a sudden.
Heidi finally pulled away a bit and looked her in the eyes. "Thank you." She said, repeating her earlier words as she shakily smiled.
Ara smiled back at this. She met her gaze with determination like a fire in her sapphire eyes. "That's what families do. They protect each other." She said with a nod.
"S-So...I am apart of that? Not just Audrey?" Heidi asked with a voice crack and a head tilt.
Ara blinked before looking to the side. She shook off her drowsiness. "As the leader of the group and sound of mind, you have proven to be a faithful friend over the past years. I owe you. Without you, I wouldn't be happy…here. With my family. The leader has decided. Heidi, welcome to the family." She said with a smile as she looked at her.
Heidi smiled before immediately bringing her into a warm hug before parting with a cracking chuckle. She nodded and wiped at a few tears before looking at the tower. "So...you gonna continue that?" She asked with a smile.
Ara looked back at the tower. "Sure...after a nap. Crying puts me to sleep. It works every time." She shook her head in humor.
"Well...Somebody once told me that clouds make the best beds." Heidi said with amusement and gestured to the cloud.
Ara folded her arms as she glanced at the purple cloud underneath her. "I think we both know that someone." She chuckled. "I guess I could give it a shot." She said, making herself comfortable.
"I can watch over the tower...so some errant bird doesn't take it down. Besides...Audrey is still hunting me down for my hair." Heidi told her with a small smile as she adjusted into a more comfortable position.
Ara nodded as she yawned. "...Imma hover up a bit. My dad is also hunting me down, but for a different reason." She said with sass. "Wouldn't want to give myself away with a low floating cloud." She gestured to the cloud.
"Huh, well, if there is one thing I like about my dad...he only hunts down casinos and people who piss him off," Heidi said as the wind carried her up a bit.
Ara nodded with a smile. "I'll be back after my nap. See ya, sis." She winked, referring to the family talk earlier.
Heidi shook her head in amusement. "Enjoy your nap, not too much though...Pinky likes to invade privacy." She said, winking back with a chuckle.
Ara's expression turned dry at that before she regained her smile. "I'll keep that in mind." She chuckled as the cloud speedily took her higher into the sky.
Heidi tilted her head up to spot the cloud before shrugging as she noticed the wind carrying up a few petals...rose petals. "...Please distract my hair-obsessed wife." She said with a deadpan, prompting the rose petals floating to go flying back down to the ground, supposedly to go distract Audrey.

Earlier, Jupiter went around looking for Ara. His Susanoo senses have been tingling wildly and he wanted to know if Ara had something to do with this. Jupiter shook his head at that. What part of stay away from him did she not understand?
Next thing he knew, an unhappy wife pulled him aside. She looked at him with a mixture of emotions as she stared at him. He was sure that he knew what this was about. He just looked back at her then look to the puppy in her arms.
Elsa looked at him before saying, "Jupiter, when are you going to talk to the kids?"
Jupiter looked down at her. "Umm...I'm going to see Ara right now. Does that count?" He tilted his head.
Elsa rolled her eyes. "Are you going to see her, to say hi? You haven't spoken to her since the fight!" She said with a shake of her head.
Jupiter halved his eyes at that. "I know. I know. I guess I could ask her what she's been up to before I ask her to hand over Susanoo…" He said with a blink.
Now it was Elsa's turn to look at him in a half eyed manner. "Jupiter...something has to be done with you and the kids. You almost hurt Ara. You need to say something." She shook her head.
He looked down at the ground before shaking his head. "I'll make sure to do that...later." He explained. "Right now, Susanoo has been floating around Rome and I need to find out whatever has gotten into him."
Elsa frowned as she looked at him. She looked down at the puppy in her arms. "Jupiter. I've tried the nice approach. You need to talk to your kids!" She said with a frustrated expression.
"I will talk to them. Just after I find out where-"
Elsa glared at him. "We both know that after you get rid of Susanoo, all you're going to do is procrastinate. You are going to procrastinate your guy's family relationship right out the window." She huffed.
He scoffed at that. "Says the person that spent their life behind doors." He said, folding his arms while Elsa's anger began to blaze against him.
Glacier, who had been quiet upon until then, glared at the man while his eyes took on a green glow. Teleporting out of Elsa's arms, the large puppy went straight for Jupiter's hand before promptly...biting it whole.
Jupiter took a complete second before reacting. "YAAAAAHHH!" He cried as he ran around, trying to remove the puppy while panicking.
Elsa, who is no longer angry, looked at them both in confusion and shock. Elsa pulled out her phone, "Hello, Kam. Are you seeing any extra patients today?" She asked over the phone.
Kam chuckled at that. "As much as I would like to see whoever is being tortured, I'm booked solid. You can try hunting down Audrey though." The goddess offered up, seemingly amused by the scream she could hear.
While Jupiter was running around like a frightened moth, Elsa nodded at that. "I guess my husband can get a new hand from somewhere else…" She blinked at the scene before listening.
"Audrey is pretty skilled with her light magic, so I wouldn't be surprised if she could replace a whole body part. You just have to find the wandering woman." Kam informed her, sounding more disinterested as the conversation went on.
Elsa nodded slowly as Jupiter had finally and forcefully removed the puppy from his chewed hand. "Thank you. I'll take him to her, then." She responded with a blank expression.
Jupiter looked at his hand with a since. "...Fingers are overrated anyway." He said with a hiss as he tried to move one of them.
Elsa blinked, still in shock, said, "We should hurry. I know where a healer is."
"That would be...very nice." He said, holding his hand and following Elsa out of the room.
While Jupiter looked at his tattered fingers, Elsa looked to the puppy in concern. "Glacier...why did you peel my husband's fingers?" She asked with a slight wince.
Glacier looked up at her, not looking one bit concerned at what he had done. "Hades encouraged us to bite hands when he would act aggressive, rude, or in his words, "Like an asshole." The dog said in an innocent manner.
Elsa blinked at that. "So...you were defending me?" She asked, reading between the lines as her face grew a small smile.
"Yes-Er...Maybe?" Glacier said before immediately changing the answer and looking away.
Elsa's smile grew at the now obvious answer. "Thank you, Glacier. Very good boy." She let him and gave him a kiss atop his head before looking for the familiar door.
Glacier barked happily at that, shooting Jupiter a glare before looking up at her. "That is just a demonstration of my jaw power. Did you want me to try for a toe?" He asked her, biting for emphasis with a grin.
Elsa blinked before looking back at a very pale Jupiter with a smirk. "Huh...let's put that on hold for now. Make sure he doesn't do anything else stupid." She said with a chuckle as Jupiter grumbled.
"The minute he does something stupid...I'm going for the big toe." Glacier said with a snicker, locking eyes with the god's foot.
Jupiter immediately took six steps to the side. "Are we almost there yet?" He asked, suddenly feeling very uncomfortable.
Elsa glanced at him as she stopped walking. "Actually, we are here." She opened the door and walked in casually.
Jupiter looked over her shoulder before following her in. Every now and then he'd glare at the dog in Elsa's arms.
Elsa looked around sporting Hestia, Kam, and...an admittingly large and very pregnant Audrey. Elsa shrugged. She is having triplets after all. "Hello, Audrey. I hope you've been well." Elsa said with her usual calm smile.
Audrey blinked as both her and the pink puppy sitting next to her looked up. "Oh, hey! Did...you guys need something? I can probably call for Heidi…" She said, trailing off while pointing her thumb at the garden.
Elsa shook her head. "Oh no. Actually, we are here for you. My husband's hand is injured." She explained before turning to the god that was glaring at her dog. "Jupiter. Aren't you going to introduce yourself?"
Jupiter blinked. "Hi, I'm Jupiter god of the-holy fluffaroni you're GINORMOUS!" He said in complete shock as he took on Audrey's size.
Elsa's eye twitched before she facepalmed at his response.
While Kam snorted at the comment, Audrey's expression turned dry. "I'm aware." She said with halved eyes as her dog slowly rose.
Elsa looked at him in irritation. "Really?"
Jupiter swallowed before saying, "I'm sorry! She caught me off guard! I wasn't ready…" He said, scratching his head.
Elsa looked at him in an exasperated manner. "I need you to be at least a little more sensible."
"I was not expecting..!" He sighed heavily.
Audrey let out a long sigh. "If I get the same response from Hades I'm throwing a pillow." She mumbled in complete exasperation before looking up at him. "It's magical and I'm just going with the flow." She said, gesturing to herself while Kam slowly nodded as if to say. "I...have no idea."
Jupiter blinked at that. "I'm a guy so I don't know much about pregnancy as is." He explained blankly. "All I know is my hand looks like it was introduced to a can opener."
Looking from the dog in Elsa's arms to the god's hand, she nodded like she's seen such a thing before. "It's normal for hellhounds to nail you good. Just be glad you don't own one with three heads like my wife does." She said, gesturing for the god to come over once Kam shot her a look.
He walked over, eyeing the dogs. Elsa spoke for him in this case. "He doesn't exactly like animals. I am the one that prefers a smaller companion." She said, hugging the dog a bit.
Jupiter grumbled something on the lines of, "More like a furry shredder." Eyeing Glacier again.
Audrey shrugged as the invisible tattoos on her hands glowed pure white. Taking the god's hand, she held it with one hand and held her other over his. "I wasn't allowed animals as a child, something about one of my parents or grammy saying it wasn't right for a princess to have pets and to gain attachments to them. They never minded horses though, probably because they just viewed them as another thing for me to practice on." She said with a small shake of her head. "Heidi's three-headed dog is the first animal I lived with...Amorette over there is the second." She said, using her head to gesture to the pink dog that had laid down.
"Yay…" Jupiter said as he looked at the dog dryly.
Elsa, on the other hand, looked at the dog with interest. "She's pink? That is so adorable." She smiled.
Audrey smiled back at looked at the puppy. "Yeah...Hades found her and trained her before giving her to me as a gift. I'm sure it was supposed to be a surprise birthday gift, he is always over the top ever since my family cut ties with me, but he gave her to me early." She explained with a soft giggle as the dog flopped on her side.
Elsa nodded at that. "Well, she looks like the perfect companion to me." She said before looking at the status of Jupiter's hand.
"She is...Not to mention far more gentle than Kirby, Heidi's dog. I've had injuries just like Jupiter here and it's been on complete accident. He's just a puppy though...so I couldn't help but forgive him." Audrey said with a smile, tilting her head as she noticed she was almost done.
Elsa blinked at that before wincing. "Interesting..." She paused for a few moments before looking at what Audrey was doing. "Oh. Are you just about done?" She asked with a tilt of her head.
Audrey nodded and waited a few more seconds before allowing the man to have his hand back. "There you are. Remember, most of these dogs were trained by Hades to guard whoever their master is...meaning if you act in a threatening manner...you get chomped." She told the god, scooting back up on the bed as Amorette joined her at her side again.
Jupiter's eyes halved at the last part before he stretched out his fingers. "Hm. Now I can get back to the bottom of this issue I was dealing with."
"What about our earlier conversation," Elsa asked dryly with a raised eyebrow.
Jupiter shrugged before saying, "I can talk to the kids...whenever. I'll catch them around, but I'm kind of doing something important." He told her as his purple eyes closed for a bit as he looked around.
Elsa, already knowing what this was about, rolled her eyes. "Fine. You do that and maybe we can have time to talk about some things that are pretty important too." Elsa shook her head.
Jupiter turned to her before he prepared to teleport. "Pfft. I'll be back. Don't worry about it. I have a storm to handle in Sicily first, then I'll handle that problem when I get back."
Before Elsa could say another word, he vanished. "...He always does this." She said, shaking her head. "Well...thanks anyway." She turned to Audrey with a slight frown.
Audrey looked to the side. "Heidi...told me to tell someone else that she's...watching the guy that Jupiter has claimed a problem…" She said slowly while scratching the side of her head. "I guess she just wanted to give him a heads up before she did anything and surprised him…"
Elsa looked at her before saying, "At this point, I wouldn't care if he was surprised or not." She said before taking her leave as the room got slightly colder.
Audrey subconsciously readjusted the temperature and looked at her. "Um...bye then." She said in a slightly awkward manner before turning her attention back to her phone.

After Jupiter had handled the storm, helped with the cleanup, and absorbed all of the praise a storm god could possibly get, he went back to Capitalonial Hill to finish what had been started. His main mission is to find the roaming Susanoo that has been terrorizing his anti-Susanoo senses. His Susanoo senses have been going wild all day!
Jupiter wandered about the hill trying to find the other god. He looked around the outskirts and the power regions of the hill where the other homes were first. Once he confirmed that the god wasn't there, he slowly made his way up the hill. Eventually, he made his way to where his home was. His Susanoo senses were going off even more than before!
Assuming the other god had to be close, he took a look around. After about ten minutes, he found the god. Susanoo was apparently relaxing and eating a pizza.
Jupiter glared immediately before asking, "First question. What are you doing in my kingdom?! Second question. What are you doing in my house!?" He seethed.
Susanoo finished off a slice before lazily looking up at him. "I was allowed to. I got somebody who can handle anything that might try to throw me out that is willing to come whenever I ask." He said in a casual manner before reaching for another slice.
Jupiter's eye twitched at that as his eyes gained a glow to them. "You were allowed to? By whom!? Because I sure as Hell didn't do it!" He folded his arms.
"For one, my sister mentioned a smiting in your future, for two...I've got somebody on my side that doesn't see me as you do. That somebody can knock you out in ten seconds if what I saw in Olympus today says anything." Susanoo said with a wide grin, not appearing one bit bothered by the angered god.
Not even minding the second part, Jupiter's eyes widened at the mention of his sister. He growls under his breath as electricity travels up and down his arms. "How long are you supposed to be here?" He spat, trying to hold his temper.
Susanoo chuckled and leaned forward. "As looong as I want." He said, his grin widening at the other god.
Jupiter's eyes flared to life as it became pretty cloudy. He twitched before pausing. "Excuse me for a moment." He promptly disappeared. He returned with a slightly calmer exterior while glaring at him. "Don't you have your own region to be an irk in?"
Susanoo dramatically placed his hand on his chest. "Alas...With my sister being loved more it is her who is most commonly called to handle problems. She just poofs down, uses her supreme power, and poofs away. I'm only called when somebody suddenly calls some Krakens or tries to cause a disaster because the person hates me." He said with a small shrug.
Jupiter folded his arms. "I don't need your services and I won't need your services unless Krakens begin walking on land." He said in an annoyed manner.
"Ah...And I won't need to see you unless...well, I won't actually need to see your mug anytime soon. I'm a big boy who handles my own problems with my own two hands, I don't ask for help." Susanoo said with a roll of his eyes.
Jupiter kept his hard stare. "You have no idea how happy it made me to hear you say that you wouldn't need to see me anytime soon."
"And you have no idea how happy I will be when you leave the room," Susanoo said with a wide smirk.
"This is my room. You are in my house!" He growled.
"Aw, territorial much? Do I have to call down my dear sister to discuss your rights?" Susanoo asked in a mocking tone as a phone appeared in his hand.
Jupiter more than scowled at that. "My rights..?" His body had electricity dancing about it now as the sky began to darken.
"Yep. Amaterasu is the goddess of the Universe. You are just the god of...this." Susanoo gestured to the room. "And as the last sibling she loves...my sister will happily come and put you in your place for threatening her brother." He told him with a chuckle.
That's when Jupiter just about had it. He teleported outside...and basically began running around, having a tantrum. The clouds roared to life as he practically all but lost his mind.
A few minutes into the god's fit, a woman zoomed onto the scene. Her dark blue hair glowed under the darkness along with her body as she gave off quite a bit of light. She looked at him with halved eyes. "...Is this really necessary?" She asked loudly in a deadpan, her electric eyes glowing as she didn't mind the lightning flashing around her.
Jupiter glared at her sharply with his glowing purple eyes. "Let me guess. You're that person that that imp was referring to? The one that was going to take me 'down' if I would touch him? Well, news flash! I ain't touching him! I sure as hell ain't getting burnt to ash today or any other day! I am ultimately pissed and I can't kick any ass! So, hell yeah, this is necessary!" He said before growling as thunder echoed.
The woman tilted her head. "Well...It's either your unlucky day or lucky day...Amaterasu sent me a message that I get to handle all punishments if you dare harm her brother. She says it will give me good practice like no other since I happen to not only like her brother as a person, but I'm also immune to anything you can do. Not to mention...I have the special touch." She told him, wiggling her glowing blue fingers with a smirk.
He scoffs. "Well, I guess you are going to be disappointed. I may be a hothead, but I have common sense. Screw that. I ain't touching no one." He said with a growl before rolling his eyes and walking elsewhere.
Almost as if the woman teleported in front of him, she suddenly appeared and smirked. "Not now at least. There will come a time where you will go nuts and try to kick his ass. That is when I come in and kick yours." She said with a smirk, her lips appearing to glow blue in the darkness.
He gave a dry chuckle at that. "Yeah, alright, glowstick. If I can't relax in my own home, I'm going to take a vacation. It's not uncommon for me to travel. Pass the word to Elsa." He snapped at her before grumbling.
"Ah...The run away from your issues type and hulk out elsewhere. You must be a joy when company comes around asking to stay for a bit." The woman said with sarcasm. "Let me guess, take the missus and leave the kids for a bit? Go to some island and chill for a year or two? Typical god vacation time." She said, idly tapping her finger on her chin.
He kept walking as she was speaking. "Wrong and double wrong. I don't plan on being gone that long. Just enough to regain my fucking sanity. Because of that, Elsa is staying here." He said matter of factly.
"Man...I'm not sure what's funnier. The fact that you are more immature than any god I know or the fact you are pissed off at a god who you don't really know. You know, people say what they say about gods and they record what they want. Meaning you could do a million good deeds and they would record the ten bad ones." The woman stated, her glowing lips morphing into a frown. "If you ask me, that isn't fair."
"And you are saying this to a god you don't know, hypocrite." He rebutted. "The only thing you know about me, is my family. You don't know me. Stop acting like you do." He said, not bothering to look back.
"Oh...but I do." She said simply. "Quite well in fact. The drifter king who would much rather wander than sit on his throne and keep the peace of his kingdom. The same king that is the first to back out and hide when any sort of danger approaches." The woman said, her tone oddly serious. "You could say...I've seen you, in particular, do something quite pitiful in my book."
"And I say, go have a nice day. If you haven't noticed I'm not trying to have a convo. I'm trying to get away from you." He said before continuing on his way and waving the clouds away carelessly.
The woman stared him down. "You continue to runaway, just do it...That's what you have and always will do until the day someone comes and stops you from running. Not only will you fall...but everything will crumble around you, Jupiter." She said before disappearing in a blast of dark energy.
Jupiter sighed in relief as the woman vanished. "Finally some peace…" He looked back at his home. "...There's no way in hell I'm going to be in the mix of all that." He said, glowing with white energy.
His obviously upset wife, kids, Heidi, Susanoo, and the goddess of the universe breathing down his neck? Yeah, right! Of course, he was leaving! If he didn't, he would either end up, one: burned down. Or two: with all of his bones broken. He had just gotten a new cape too. There was no way he was going to mess up that fabric!
He took a deep breath before launching himself into the air. As he flew farther, he sounded more and more like a passing airplane.

Vetiver had been out in the garden pretty much the whole day. Hazel was in the house, probably still woozy, so Vetiver maintenanced the garden while she was gone. She even took care of those crummy roses that ratted her out earlier. Those flowers better be glad that they didn't need a trimming.
After she was finished, she spent some time using the hose to refill the birdbaths. She also ran through the sprinklers a bit, but it was hot. She deserved a break.
While she was taking her break, she ran passed the pretty famous hospital room. She saw her mother, who had grow quite large, her grandma, her grandpa, and...Glacier? Honestly, she forgot he existed for a hot second. It had been a couple of days so...she might as well stop by.
She decided that she would need a snack first. After conspiring with Kam to ask Chirpy to make a cake, she stole a couple of cookies before making her way around the house. She had pretty much looked everywhere before stopping to think. She last saw him with Elsa...so...he might still be with her?
Shrugging, she headed to Elsa's room with a smile on her face. Remembering something, She changed back into her rosy cat form. She'll explain the whole human thing later. She didn't want to make things weird.
Using a dog door, that blended with Elsa's door very well, she entered the room. She meowed at Elsa happily.
Elsa looked down at the earthy kitten before smiling. She took her eyes off of her book for just a moment. "Hello, Vetiver. Glacier, I believe you have a guest." She said before turning a page in her book.
Glacier opened his eyes and looked down at her from his position in Elsa's lap. "Oh, hey." He said, yawning a bit as he tilted his head at her in a questioning manner.
Vetiver smiled at him and stood where she could see him best. "Hello. I'm surprised you remember me." She said, sitting on the ground.
"Haven't done much so...why would I forget you?" Glacier asked with a head tilt in the other direction.
Vetiver shrugged. "There's a lot going on around here. It's hard not to forget people." She said with a shake of her head. "Glad I haven't been forgotten though."
Glacier shrugged as well. "So...What are you doing here?" He asked, peering at her with mild curiosity.
Vetiver blinked before examining her paw. "Remember what I said about easily forgetting people? Yeah...I got caught up in a fiasco and forgot about you for a little bit. I saw you earlier and decided to stop by since I consider us to be...friends." She explained, glancing at him every now and then.
Glacier shrugged once more. "I've just been...hanging around for a while now. Chewed up some dude's hand and returned to take a nap." He said, laying his head down while continuing to look at her.
Vetiver nodded at that. "Sounds like a fun afternoon." She chuckled. "...If you're not too tired, I wanted to know if you could come out and play." She said with a shy smile.
Glacier looked back at Elsa and slowly turned to look back down at the cat. "Uh...Well…" He trailed off, obviously trying to think of something to say.
Vetiver winced at that. "I mean...you don't have to if you don't want to…" She blinked.
As Glacier seemed to snuggle a bit more into Elsa's lap, it was plain to see that the puppy appeared to be trying to stay close to the woman.
Vetiver raised an eyebrow before smiling at that. "She's not going anywhere, you know?" She said gently, keeping her smile.
"What makes you think I'm thinking that?" Glacier asked in a huff, shaking his head at her to deny the supposed claim that he thought that way.
Vetiver tilted her head at him. "It's pretty obvious that you want to stay close to her. Dude...if you got any closer, you'd be a part of her clothes." She said with a chuckle.
"You are wrong. It's nothing like that." Glacier said in a stubborn manner, looking away from her.
She smirked. Her bouquet tails waved back and forth while she looked at him smugly. "If it's not like that, why are you not running around, pranking cats, causing mayhem, and being mister macho?" She asked using a dramatic voice.
"Because. None of your business." Glacier responded simply, his tail wagging in slight irritation.
Vetiver, who was now laying on the floor, said. "I'm right, aren't I?" With her smug expression.
"Zip it." Glacier grumbled back, refusing to look at her.
She giggled at this. "Why aren't you looking at me? You know that I'll see the truth in your eyes?" She said obviously humored.
"No, because you are annoying me." Glacier said with sarcasm, choosing to bury himself even more.
"Oh. Yes, I am." She smirked before it turned into a smile. "If you go outside, she's still going to be here. I know her. She won't abandon you if you are being good to her." She said, sitting up.
"Not liiiistening." Glacier said, holding out the last word while rolling his eyes.
"You're a dog. You have like...the best ears on the block." She said with a smirk. "So, you wanna stay close, but not stay close? I guess I could think of some things we can do in here since you wuv her too much to go outside." She said, jumping on a table before proceeding to climb the furniture.
Glacier huffed and buried his head down in an attempt to ignore her as his tail wagged wildly, showing that he was very irritated at this point.
Vetiver chuckled before looking around the room from a higher view. "Do you call her mom yet? I mean, I realize it's a process. That whole bonding thing? It looks like you two are doing very well! The last time I was this clingy to someone, they turned out to be my parent." She said with a smirk.
"You are you, I am me. We aren't the same." Glacier said with a scowl shooting her a grumpy look.
Vetiver pouted falsely. She smacked her lips. "Aww...don't give me that face. I'm just helping you understand what your heart is telling you." She said, dramatically speaking.
"And I'm just giving you this face 'cause you are annoying." Glacier said with halved eyes before huffing and looking away.
Vetiver shrugged at that. "Eh. I have my moments. I would be less annoying if I stole three cookies instead of two, but I didn't so…" She shrugged once more.
"You like to talk and talk until somebody pounces on you, don't you?" Glacier asked in a deadpan.
Vetiver casually blinked as she kept her usual smirk with halved eyes. "May I answer your question with a question?"
"Please don't," Glacier muttered out, shoving his face in the crevice of the chair.
"You are not used to having conversations, are you?" She asked, ignoring his protest. She made herself comfortable on the dresser she was now on.
"Not with beings who are trying to get me to pounce on them." Glacier replied, pawing at Elsa in an attempt to get her attention.
Vetiver shook her head at that with humor. "You can pounce if you want. I just want to play and I'm boooored so I'm an irk. It's how I operate." She rolled and exposed her green bellie.
Elsa blinked before looking down at the dog with a smile. "I still know you're there, Glacier." She said before petting him.
Glacier looked up at her in an almost pitiful way before looking at the cat. With a wag of his tail, he smirked before making a snowball midair before throwing it her way.
The snowball landed on Vetiver's exposed belly, prompting her to mew in surprise. She rolled over and sat up. She smirked. "You just did not."
"Stop being so annoying." Glacier deadpanned before launching another snowball at her.
Vetiver allowed the snowball to hit her on the head before laughing. "I'll stop being annoying when you do something fun." She said, pawing the remnants of the snowballs.
The puppy simply responded with two more snowballs as he looked up at Elsa and let out an, admittingly, pitiful whine.
Elsa sighed before looking down at him. "What is it, Glacier?"
Glacier sat up and pointed his paw straight at Vetiver. "She's bothering me." He said with a huff, getting ready to launch another snowball.
Elsa looked at Vetiver, who was playing with one of the current snowballs, with a smile. "Glacier...That's Vetiver. She bothers everyone." She said with a chuckle. "Vetiver. I think you've worn him out for today."
Vetiver looked at Elsa before blinking, dropping the snowball, and coming down from her high place. When she got on the ground, she transformed back into her kid form with a smile. "Okay, gramma!" She chirped. "Now that I remember, I have to go see my mom anyway. She doesn't like it when I roam got long periods of time."
Elsa nodded at that with a smile. "Sure thing. Oh. If you see your father, tell her I'm worried for her." She said with exasperation.
Vetiver gave a mock salute before saying, "See ya, buddy!" To Glacier and blasting out of the room.
