3rd p.o.v:
Finally securing an unconscious Superman and helping Sirena, the League didn't realize that they forgot one important thing, the Mother Box, until it was too late. They witness Steppenwolf appear and take the Mother Box and disappear to an unknown location. Racing back to the hideout or cave, whatever you want to call it, and started planning a new strategy on how to stop Steppenwolf with the additional help with Superman. Getting off the jet, Diana, Bruce and Victor carried Clark towards a spare room, to wait for him to wake up and explain everything to him and Arthur carried Sirena to the infirmary. "Put me down, Arthur!" she protested. Shaking his head, "nope! You serious head butted the Man of Steel, you might have a concussion or some type of brain damage." he answered, holding her closer to him, as carrying her towards the infirmary, as Sirena rolled her eyes. Alfred came in and saw Sirena sitting on the table with her arms crossed and pouting like a child. Flashing a light in her eyes and waving a finger back and forth and doing every test, making sure that Sirena didn't have a concussion and her motor skills were one hundred percent. Alfred advised that if she feels light headed, blurry vision or nauseated, to let someone know and if her head starts to hurt, to take some pain reliever. Turning to Arthur and smirked, "told you so." she said, before walking out of the infirmary, with Arthur trailing right behind her.
Diana, Clark and Bruce walked back into the room, making everyone stop what they were doing and look up at them, as Arthur pulled Sirena behind him, only to get smacked. Clark walked up, hesitantly, "I would like to apologize for my actions and if I harmed any of you, during chaotic state, I am sorry." he apologized, making everyone relaxed, except for Arthur, who still doesn't trust him. "Diana and Bruce informed me about Steppenwolf and the Mother Boxes and how I came to life again, I would like to join and help you out, if you let me." he stated, looking at everyone with acceptance. Sirena shrugged her shoulders, "the more the merrier." she spoke up, making Arthur think she was going crazy. Glaring at him, "don't look at me like that!" she hissed, before turning back to everyone. "Just think about it, we have 2 Atlanteans, a Cyborg, a Speedster, an Amazon, a Bat and now a Kryptonian. What can really go wrong, if we don't plan things out and work together." Sirena explained, making everyone think about what she said. "I agree, with Sirena." Alfred chimed in, sending her a warm smile.
After everyone agreed to let Clark join and give him a second chance, since the Clark they encountered, wasn't the real Clark. Everyone was happy and getting a plan together, except for Arthur, who was shooting daggers at the Kryptonian, as he was talking to his wife. "Are you ok, Arthur?" he turned around and saw Diana standing behind him. Scoffing, "yeah, why?" he asked and turned back around. She followed where he was staring and a smirk appeared, she watched how Clark and Sirena talked and smiled at each other. To Arthur, it looked like people flirting with each other, but to Diana, it was two people getting to know each other and talking about their families. But without Arthur's knowledge, Clark is happily married. A smirk appeared on Diana's face, "you're jealous." she stated. Turning around, "no I'm not!" he denied, shaking his head. Raising an eyebrow, "you sure about that?" she questioned and he nodded his head. "From what I witnessed, you've been protective of her, didn't let her go on the first mission, but luckily she came right on time. Hovered over her and pulled her closer to you, when Clark came into the room." Diana acknowledged the things she witnessed Arthur doing, since Sirena has been here. Shrugging his shoulders, "I don't want her getting hurt, she has a kid back at home." he said, still in denial. Diana rolled her eyes, "Arthur, he's is your son as well! You also have someone waiting for you!" she hissed. Taking a deep breath, "just answer this, do you still have feelings for Sirena?" Diana asked and Arthur was silent for a moment and started to think. Sirena was his best friend, long before being his wife. She was there when he was getting picked on at school and helped him with his abilities and in between all of that, feelings started to go for one another. He was there, when she would come back up from the surface, bloodied and bruised, from whatever battle was in with her father and bandaged her up. Sirena was the one who helped him trust again, after his mother's sudden departure. Arthur turned back to Diana, as Arthur opened his mouth to answer her, Bruce walked in. "We found his location!" Bruce announced, before walking away.
After coming up and agreeing to a plan, everyone went their separate ways and got changed and met back up, except for Sirena, who was talking to her son. Going over the plan, again, Arthur spoke up. "Honestly... I think we're gonna be dead way before that. And you know what? I don't mind. It's an honorable end. But we've gotta shut Steppenwolf down." he stated, before turning to Clark. "I still don't trust you and never will." he admitted. He turned his attention to Bruce, "you've got no powers, no offense." he stated. "This guy might be working for the enemy. We don't know." Arthur pointed at Victor. Looking Barry up and down, "You're tripping over your feet, and mine." he said, rolling his eyes. "Oof, you're gorgeous, and fierce... and strong. I know we went to war with the Amazons, but that was before my time. You know what? I don't wanna die. I'm young. There's shit that I wanna do. I just feel like... I didn't really embrace the sea or the land. I've been a loner most of my life. But being part of something bigger, like this... maybe I'm scared because... I'm meant to..." he admitted, his small crush towards the Amazon and how he's feeling, but there was one person lingering on his mind. "And there's Sirena. She's my first love, my best friend, my everything. She helped me with everything, when we were younger and I let someone get into my head and I pushed her away. Seeing her now and finding out she had a kid, by herself, made me realize how much I missed and how much I want to be with her again, be a family and get to know my son." Arthur finally admitted his feelings towards his estranged wife. Everyone smiled, taking everything in, until Bruce tried to hold back his smile and motions for Arthur to look down. He looked down and noticed he was sitting on the Lasso of Truth. Pulling it from under him and tossing it to Diana, "I think that was beautiful." Diana giggled. Walking past Barry, "You say a word about this, you'll meet every piranha I know." Arthur growled. "I honestly didn't hear anything after 'we're all gonna die'." Barry blubbered, as Arthur walked away, most likely embarrassed. But Barry didn't need to tell anyone, Sirena was standing in the corner, hidden from everyone else, listening to everything Arthur had to say.
