A/N: Another story written for the prompt challenge.

"And there's that smile that looks just like daddy's," Kensi cooed to two month old Jacob. She turned to Deeks with a smile of her own and leaned over to brush some hair off his cheek. "It looks like he's getting your curls too."

"But they could still be brunette," Deeks reminded her, which was what he wanted. Jacob gave a sleepy yawn and then turned back to his mom, making a slurping noise as he latched again.

Deeks settled back with Jacob's twin, Matthew, cradled in his arms. Matthew has finished nursing about 10 minutes ago and was dozing contentedly.

"I think we should have another," Kensi said after a few minutes of peaceful silence.

"For sure." Deeks was half asleep himself. They'd talked about having three or four kids; it was a little insane to think they were already halfway there.

"No, I mean right away," Kensi said. Deeks opened his eyes slowly and found Kensi watching him expectantly. She didn't look like she was joking at all.

"Baby, what do you mean by "right away"?" he asked. "Cause like there's two years from now right away and like right away, right away."

"I mean, maybe in the next couple months." Deeks let out a slow breath and chuckled nervously.

"Kensi, I love you and I love our babies and I would love to make more babies with you-or at least practice making babies-but we have two month old twins."

"And by the time we had the next one, the twins will be at least 13 months old. You know we're not getting any younger and it would be nice to have them all around the same age," Kensi said, somehow managing to sound perfectly reasonable despite the completely insane words coming out of her mouth.

"We barely sleep as it is," Deeks pointed out. "Besides, I'm not even sure I have the energy required to conceive another kid."

"Really? You seemed pretty energetic last night," Kensi drawled, glancing pointedly at the front of his jeans. Deeks squirmed and Matthew jerked in response, his eyes opening for a split second. He froze until the baby stopped moving again.

"Yeah, but I'm paying for it now."

"Hm." Kensi eyed him, her expression turning mischievous. "I bet I could get you energized." Deeks lifted Matthew a little higher on his chest, effectively shielding himself.

"You wouldn't dare."

"Let's make another baby," Kensi said in a voice that was equally arousing as it was terrifying. Deeks strained away from her, holding Matthew even closer. Despite his overall exhaustion, he felt the first hints of desire. Damn, he was so screwed.

"No more babies," he said sternly. Kensi nodded agreeably.

"Ok, we'll talk about it some other time." Still smiling, she stood up and headed for the nursery. Deeks propped Matthew on his shoulder, shaking his head.

"Mattie, your mama is crazy. But we love her anyway."
