Bella POV-
I felt myself coming to, albeit very groggy and dizzy. I couldn't see anything clearly, but I could feel a terrible ripping pain coming from my abdomen and lower back.
After a few moments, my vision started to return, as well as my other facilities. I noticed at once that I was in some type of a warehouse, I guessed. I was also freezing cold, seeing as it was the end of November, and I was only in a hospital gown.
"Don't worry, it'll be over soon and once you're free of that mutt and it's spawn, I'll take you away and we'll be together again, this time forever. I'll never let you out of my sight again, I was so foolish before." I heard the crazed voice of Edward Cullen whispering in my ear before I felt yet another horrific pain in my abdomen and back. I felt a gush of water and I knew I was officially in active labor.
"No! No! It's too soon! Take me back to the hospital! Please! PLEASE! I'll do what you want, just take me back so that she'll be safe when she's born!" I yelled, no longer caring for my own life, only for the life of my child. She had to be safe.
"As much as I like hearing that you'll do what I want, I can't take you back. I gave you drugs to speed up your labor. All of those years with Carlisle gave me quite the extensive medical knowledge. Once you're free of the spawn, we'll leave it here for your precious wolves to find and then we'll vanish. They'll never be able to find you." Edward said with a snarl and my heart dropped out of my chest.
EMBRY! I called in my mind, praying to the spirits that he could hear me.
Bella, we're coming for you! I thought I heard, but I was having another contraction. I screamed at the intensity of the pain. This was most certainly not how I had imagined giving birth, and I was terrified for the life of my baby.
"Please, Edward, it's too soon! She'll be premature, she might not even be able to breathe properly! Please take me back to the hospital! It's too cold for a newborn and there's no blankets, she'll freeze to death! PLEASE! I'm begging you!" I yelled, feeling the sweat drip down my forehead, despite the freezing temperatures.
"That'll be a problem for the wolves, if they make it through in time." He muttered. I cried at both the pain and the situation.
My wrists were bound to the chair I was sitting in, and it was so tight that my bindings were ripping into my skin as I strained against them. It also seemed that he wouldn't be assisting me in giving birth, either. I was full out panicking at this point. I couldn't give birth with no assistance and my hands tied! The baby would fall helplessly to the freezing cold ground! There were no blankets either, only my hospital gown, which I would use as a last resort, despite my nakedness underneath. Her life was a million times more important than my own.
I heard howls coming from outside, and felt a second of relief, until I heard more howls, ones that were of pain. "I see they've found my devices, then. Quite simple, but effective. They're high powered dog whistles, you see, capable of causing immense pain to those of any k-9 persuasion. I've had these specifically modified for a supersonic frequency, which should incapacitate them all for a while." He cackled, laughing at their pain.
I yelled for Embry, begging for him to be okay, along with the others. I cried more, and every few minutes, I'd hear more pained howls coming from directly outside the doorway. He must have them on a cycle.
After I don't know how long, the contractions were at the worst stage and I could feel what had been referred to as the 'ring of fire'. Along with that came the urge to bear down, which I knew meant delivery was imminent. I begged for help, knowing I desperately needed it.
Just as I felt another contraction, I watched through blurry eyes as my wolves stalked into the room, snarling and snapping at the enemy. They must've disabled the devices, I didn't know, but I screamed for help, knowing one of my three would understand what was happening. The wolves charged at Edward, who seemed to know each of their moves, likely due to reading their thoughts.
I tried not to push as I had yet another contraction, but my body did on its own accord. I could see that Edward was focused on Embry, trying to take him out, because he had to have been the most concerned about me and the baby.
The wolf pack lured Edward outside of the warehouse, leaving one behind. Seth quickly transformed back into a human and pulled his shorts on, running to me. I screamed, shaking my head. "Seth, no! It's too dangerous, please, he'll kill you!"
"No." He responded with a tone I'd never heard from the 15-year-old. He didn't waste his time. He grabbed the ties holding my wrists and snapped them with ease. I felt my wrists free themselves and I cried out.
"Seth, she's coming. I can't- ahhhhhh!" I yelled, reaching down to feel between my legs. I could already feel her head.
"I'm sorry, mama." He said, clearly panicking, but trying to keep himself under control as he helped me to the edge of the seat and lifted my hospital gown. "You can push, it's okay." He told me, and I knew she would be out with one more push. I felt the next contraction and I pushed hard as I heard loud howls from outside the building.
Just as I suspected, I felt immediate relief as Seth lifted my daughter up from between my legs. Her umbilical cord was still attached, and I was desperately worried about hearing her cry.
Seth seemed to know what to do, by some miracle, because he flipped her on her stomach laying her on his arm and began to softly pat her back, which caused her to cry out nearly immediately.
I gave a huge sigh of relief, but then felt another contraction, and remembered I still had to deliver the placenta, which I knew would happen quickly.
"Give her to me, Seth, I'm going to have to push again for the placenta," I told him, and he nodded, carefully placing my sweet baby girl into my arms. I carefully cocooned her in my hospital gown, uncaring that Seth was seeing way more than he should. Her health was my top priority and it was below freezing temperatures.
I felt another contraction hit and I pushed hard, feeling the placenta release. Once it was out, Seth grabbed the umbilical cord and clamped it shut tightly with his fingers, ripping it in two before quickly tying off the end that was still attached to my baby girl.
Seth then kneeled down next to me and pulled us both into his lap, wrapping his arms around the both of us, trying to keep us warm with his unnatural body heat.
I didn't know how long it was, but I heard sounds from outside, and Seth snapped his head to attention. I feared for all of our safety. Was he still alive? Were my wolves okay? Was he coming back for me?
A/N- The baby's here! Yay! What do you guys think so far?
