I binged watched all of Rizzoli and Isles, they really should have put Korsak and Angela together, they have some cute friendship moments, I was glad that Angela broke up with Sean lol I wasn't much fond of Kiki and Ron as characters, but Ron was a silver fox. Watching the show I come to realize I do have Jane pretty down pat in writing, so protective and everything. Oh and Maura when she kicked butt was awesome, fencing Maura is fiiinneee lol Frost and Tommy I forgot they had their scene with the car garage damage and Tommy seemed concerned about Frost. Man I really missed Frost after his last episode I'm glad I kept him alive in this story, it wasn't the same of course in the show without him RIP Lee Thompson Young. And poor Susie, and Kent was just odd. And the Jane and Korsak friendship in the show was the best, feel bad for having them at odds for a bit. Anyways I finished watching and back to writing this, it's sort of a filler chapter with not much length, wanted to let you guys know I'm still here and didn't abandon this story.

Every hour that had passed Jane grew more and more anxious. Jane and Maura sat on one side of the bed of Angela and Korsak on the other side. Maura could sense the tension between the two especially when the next morning approached. She went to go get Korsak a coffee and herself and Jane some tea.

"Jane I don't know how many times I have to apologize to you, I really am sorry about all of this. That your mother is here."

"You know the more you apologize, the more irritable you make me. I don't want your apologies, I just want my mother to feel better and wake up. That's all I want and I want Julian to get stronger, they mean more to me than you right now. So can you please stop trying to make amends?" Jane leaned back in her chair.

"Fine," Korsak frowned. "But I don't think your mother would approve of your behavior."

"Well she's not capable of being disappointed, she's in a coma Korsak. And who knows when she'll be out of it. If she'll come out of it. And until then I'll cope however the hell I feel like it!" Jane raised her voice, stopping once she seen her mother shift.

"I really wish you wouldn't shout Janie," Angela muttered softly.

Jane froze and turned to look at her mother, "Ma. You're awake," she leaned down to give her mother a hug. "Thank God you're awake, I'm going to let the doctor know Ma. I'm so glad that you're okay," she kissed her cheek before disappearing.

Angela turned to look at her husband who had tears in his eyes, "Hey Vince."

"Angela you don't know how relieved I am seeing you awake. I was really scared I was going to lose you. I didn't even want to begin imagining how my life would go without you," he squeezed her hand.

"Is Julian okay? Did, did he make it?" Angela asked tears in her own eyes. She sighed in relief when Korsak nodded.

"He did make it Ang. He's currently in an incubator, he's small but he's got almost a head full of hair. I'm sure the doctor will let you go see him in a little bit, but he's doing just fine. He's strong just like you Angela, that you don't have to worry about," he brought her hand to his lips. "Everything is going to be just fine."

"Janie's upset with you, isn't she?"

"She didn't react to your cardiac arrest well. I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised."

"I'm sure she'll be fine about it soon enough Vince, you know you didn't do anything wrong, right?"

"I can't help but feel like I did. I don't even know what to do about it. Right now we should all be grateful that you're back," Korsak offered her a smile.

"Mrs. Korsak, it's good to see that you're awake," the doctor greeted Angela. "How are you feeling?"

"A little sore, but I'm okay," she smiled.

Jane was outside in the waiting room with Maura after calling her brothers about the good news that Angela was awake. They said they'd come see her later. Jane leaned against her wife, holding her cup of tea. "I'm so relieved Maur. Seeing her awake definitely makes me not worry so much."

"I'm glad as well, I hated seeing her like that, but I also hated seeing you so angry and upset. Maybe you shouldn't hold that grudge against Korsak. It's not healthy you know, and now that Angela is awake..."

Jane shook her head, "Can we please not discuss Korsak right now?"

"Fine, but we should discuss it at some point at least. It really isn't healthy..."

"I know okay, I just rather not talk about it."

Maura frowned, "What do you want to talk about then?"

Jane shrugged, "How our lives are going to change? You do realize in a few weeks we won't be working together anymore."

"Yes I do realize that much. It's going to be a tough change, but we can manage. It'll definitely make seeing you when I arrive home after a long day of work worth it. The twins will be starting kindergarten soon, there'll be a lot to do."

"Sounds exhausting. We'll have to help with their homework, and you're going to involve yourself in PTA meetings, aren't you?"

"I think it would be nice to be involved that way, yes. You can also be involved as well."

"Do I have to?" Jane pouted.

"Come on Jane, you know you want to involve yourself more or else you wouldn't be changing careers, wanting to make a change to stay safer. For me and your family," Maura squeezed her knee.

"I guess I shouldn't be complaining, it's just going to be so odd not doing Detective work. It's going to be a huge change indeed. But nothing I can't handle, right?"

"Exactly, you can handle absolutely anything as long as we put our minds and heart into it."

Jane smiled, "I'm more than ready for the next chapter of our lives. So I was thinking maybe tomorrow we could go to the sperm bank, or later today if you'd like."

"Whatever you want to do is alright by me. I support your decisions, remember?"

"Of course," she leaned over to kiss Maura. "I'm so grateful to have a supporting wife like you. I'd be lost without you."

"I think you'd be able to manage, but let's not think about not having each other."

"I have something else in mind that I'd rather be doing," Jane nudged her nose with Maura's before kissing her, her fingers tangling in her wife's hair. Jane momentarily forgotten that she was holding a cup of tea which she ended up knocking over and into her own lap, she pulled away. "Shit."

Maura couldn't help but laugh, "I didn't think you'd get yourself so wet just from kissing me."

Jane got up and threw her cup in the trash, "You're so funny, now I have to go home and change." Maura got up and took Jane's hand.

"You know I always have a change of clothes in the car."

"I thought we established a long time ago that your outfits are much shorter than mine because of your height and my ass is much more noticeable."

Maura shrugged, "And your point? I don't mind seeing your ass."

"Well I'd prefer it if other people couldn't see it. I won't be long to come back, plus there's not much to do here Ma's awake and feeling well."

"If you want to be stubborn, I'll go with you."

"Nah Maur, that's fine, plus if we go home together who knows how long it will take to get back. I'll be back soon, I promise," she kissed the top of Maura's head before heading towards the elevator, Maura shook her head and followed her wife.

"I'm going with you Jane, and I'm not taking no for an answer. Angela will be fine if we come back later, just let her enjoy her time with Vince and Julian," Maura stepped onto the elevator alongside Jane.

"Alright, but play by my rules and don't distract me."

"How could I ever distract you?" Maura rested her head on Jane's shoulder.

"Don't act so innocent."

"It's not an act Jane, I am the more innocent out of the two of us."

Jane laughed, "I call bullshit on that."

"Call it whatever you'd like, I'm very innocent," Maura winked, sliding her hand down Jane's back, Jane grabbed Maura's hand before it could reach her butt.

"Innocent my ass."

"There's absolutely nothing innocent about your ass," Maura teased, using her free hand to grab Jane's butt. Jane gasped and turned to press Maura against the elevator wall.

"I guess neither of us are so innocent."

"At least I got you to finally smile," Maura rested her hand on Jane's shoulder.

"That's what this was all about, isn't it?"

Maura just shrugged, "Maybe, I know it's been a crazy past couple of days, but it's so rewarding to see that smile on your face."

"Yeah, you really think so?" Jane smiled and Maura nodded.

"I do, you have a very beautiful smile you know," she complimented, pulling away slightly when the elevator door opened. Jane's smile faltered when the doors opened to Darren Crowe standing there.

"Good morning Jane, Maura."

"Good morning Crowe," Jane rolled her eyes as she stepped off the elevator. "What are you doing here?"

"Frankie told me your mother was awake, and well I figured we could talk about something, you and I."

"No offense, but I can't talk to you right now."

"What Jane means to say is, she had a little accident with her cup of tea. Her priorities consist of going home to change her clothes, she refuses to just wear my change of clothes in the car," Maura explained as she grabbed Jane by the arm. "You are more then welcome to go visit Angela, I'm sure she'd like seeing you. Congratulations on the Frankie thing by the way."

"I... thanks, I'll see you girls in a bit then," he nodded, pressing the button to the elevator to go up.

"He seemed pretty upset," Maura mentioned as they made it to their car.

"It's Crowe, he'll be fine," Jane shrugged, getting into the car. She sighed when Maura got in with a frown on her face. "I know, that was pretty insensitive of me."

"Just a bit, but you and him can discuss whatever is going on when we get back, and maybe you can show just a little bit of compassion."

Jane nodded, resting her hand on top of Maura's, "Yeah I know, I really do hope that Frankie will be okay, that everyone will be okay. It's just hard to think about being nice to Crowe, I know that's a pretty awful thing."

"It's not so awful, just something that you have to get used to, especially if Crowe is going to be part of the family now," she shrugged, before starting the car.

"I still find it a little hard to believe that Crowe could remain part of the family," she rested her head against the window. "At the end of the day, there's just so much change going on."

"So much change, but one thing's for certain," Maura smiled.

"Oh?" Jane sat up, looking at her wife. "And what's that?"

"I'm always going to be in love with you, that is one thing that's never going to change," she leaned over to press a kiss to Jane's lips, it was okay to do so since she was at a red light.

"I'm always going to be in love with you as well, insanely in love with you at that. I'm glad that's never going to change. Something that I will always be able to count on," Jane smiled warmly at her, squeezing her fingers. She liked being able to rely on her love for Maura, every dark thing going on had a bright side, and Maura was the brightest person Jane knew and she would forever be grateful for this woman in her life.
