Plus Cuteness

Touya didn't quite know how this latest argument between him and Tenko had actually started, but he was determined to win it.

"Your little brother is not cuter than Shoto," he said, frowning at Tenko, as his friend said what had to be the dumbest thing that Touya had ever heard him say.

"Baby-Zu has freckles," Tenko said, folding his arms and glaring at Touya; Touya glared right back. "Everyone knows that freckles add plus five to Cuteness, Touya."

"That's dumb, Tenko," he said, glaring right back at Tenko. "Shoto has peppermint hair; peppermint is better than freckles. So that means Shoto's cuter."

"It does not," Tenko grumbled, frowning at him as he turned to walk away.

"Where're you going?" he demanded, hurrying to follow the dummy as he left the living room, looking like he was trying to find someone.

"I'm going to find Sensei, of course," Tenko snapped, glaring at him. "He knows everything; he'll be able to tell us which of them is cuter."

"He's Izuku's Dad, dummy," Touya grumbled, frowning as he followed in Tenko's path as the both of them made their way into the living room. "Of course he'd say that Izuku was cuter."

"Okay then, who do you think could tell us who was cuter?" Tenko asked, turning back to glare at him.

"Someone who isn't Izuku's dad, dummy," he said, following in Tenko's footsteps so he could make sure that his friend wasn't going to do anything dumb, like call in Izuku's dad so he could tell them just how cute his son was.

Tenko was such a dummy.

Looking up from his paperwork at the sound of light, tiny footsteps approaching, Toshinori turned with a smile as he watched Tenko and Touya-chan making their way into the office where he was working. Still, the look on both of their faces told him that there was some kind of debate going on between the two of them.

"What's going on?" he asked, turning from Tenko to little Touya and back again.

"Uncle Toshi, Touya's being stupid," Tenko said, arms folded over his chest and glaring at Touya-chan. "He keeps saying that his baby brother is cuter than Izuku."

Pressing his the heel of his right hand against his mouth, trying as hard as he could not to burst out laughing at the sheer adorability of it all, Toshinori composed himself as quickly as the sheer amusement he was feeling would allow him to.

"Well, that's… an interesting problem," he said, trying to control the laughter that would have otherwise erupted out of him at the sight of the adorable expressions of annoyance on both Tenko and Touya-chan's faces.

"Yeah, Touya thinks that Shoto's peppermint-hair is cuter than Izuku's freckles," Tenko said, frowning as he looked back at Touya-chan, who seemed to be just as unimpressed with him. "Tell him that's dumb."

Well, Hisashi's going to hate missing this, Toshinori found himself musing, smiling down at Tenko and Touya-chan as the pair of them looking imploringly up at him. All of this was a bit silly, of course, but the both of them were clearly taking it seriously; it reminded him more than a little of how Hisashi could get, when he was into something.
