Comments

Okay, since I got so many comments on the last few chapters and some of you guys aren't registered users, thought I would do one last chapter to answer everything. ^_^

Ponytail Goddess – Yea, like I said, that bit with the could-be-pregnant stuff was not actually planned and just came out in writing. So, I was trying to make it not super traumatic and all. But yes, Haldir is basically the best husband… Haha, yea. I mean, with the timeline of LoTR, there was no way around it. And I wanted to include one last interaction with everyone before she went back. Honestly, once I finished writing, I wanted to get everything up so I could focus on other stories and quite jumping back and forth. You know, I'm not sure why I didn't think to include scenes with Rumil and Orophin after Ash goes back. I think because at the time I wrote that chapter (where everyone dies), I hadn't gotten into a lot of the previous chapters with all the Rumil and Orophin bonding. And yea, when I got there, just slipped my mind to maybe add it in since I was in a rush to finish the story for some reason. Haha, I think I mentioned it, but yea, I wrote the chapter where they meet again REALLY early on in the story and then just tweaked it several times depending on things that I added to the chapters leading up to it. And yea, I think I had something in mind when I put Gandalf in there, but then forgot… but still thought it was a nice touch. And thanks! Yea, I think that's all that matters too – Haldir and Aisling are together and going to get their happy ever after. Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it. I was seriously worried everyone was going to hate me for the hell I put you all through to the run-up to Aisling and Hal getting back together.

Pat (Guest) – Haha, honestly, how could anyone not just fall in love with the hobbits? It was a natural thing, I think, for her to befriend them. And had to have one last heartwarming chapter before everything got super intense. I know! I'm sorry! But it was the best way to get them both out of Middle Earth… Killed me to write it… And you have no idea how hard I tried to make other things work for her to go back, but for some reason THIS was the method that got lodged in my head. Haha, well, I like to keep you guys on your toes!

Oddity Empress – Yea, I got twins stuck in my head and felt like adding that in. (Wait, were you the one that commented on that? If so, thank you for the idea!) And well, initially that last chapter was just supposed to be the first section, but everyone was commenting about kids and such, so I thought I should add more. And then it was going to end different with Gandalf showing up and hinting that the kids might go back to Middle Earth someday, but that was opening up a whole new series that I wasn't sure I wanted to commit to. I mean, I still could someday if I wanted, but I like this ending. Ties everything up nicely. And you're welcome! Thanks for reading and commenting!

Really, thank you everyone for joining me on this story! It was fun to write! And now… a break from LoTR for a bit, I think… Too much research involved…
