Survivor - Mexico (Brain vs Brawn vs Beauty)

Chapter 36 - Day 33 Part 2 & Day 34

Hello, everyone. Today is going to be the continuation of episode twelve where we're going to follow up on the Loved Ones visit, with all the remaining members of the Beauty tribe not being chosen, and they're all not happy at Incineroar at all for making a selfish, not so smart decision on who is going with him.

After the Loved Ones visit, the immunity challenge will take place in the next chapter. Oh, and by the way, I forgot to mention a few things in the last chapter. Panther's middle name? I thought of the word "jaguar", so... "Jackie" it was basically. And Birdo being Daisy's loved one? It was very hard for me to find a loved one for Daisy, so that's why I ended up choosing Birdo of all people. News flash: I actually don't like Birdo. Her voice is annoying and I was never a fan of her design at all, so I actually don't know if I will even have her on the show lol.

But anyway, onto the chapter.

Day 33

Daisy, Chica, Panther

-/-

Panther, Daisy, and Chica, or rather, all three remaining members of the Beauty tribe all returned to the Fuerza camp, being the unlucky ones that were set to miss out on time with their loved ones and a nice reward from the Survivor Production Team.

Though if there was one thing the three all had in common, there was a certain 'cat-like' creature that the three survivors decided to put the blame on.

"That was the stupidest decision ever..."

And Daisy Rose unsurprisingly was the very first person to complain.

"Like, I am not just saying this because I didn't get chosen, but that was obviously a dumb move..." She went on, the three former members of Quetzal all forming a small, three-person circle. "I mean, Plague Knight, though? Really?"

"Well, I guess I can understand Plague..." Panther Jackie Caroso said. "He's the swing vote for this next Tribal Council, so he's trying to bring him over to his side. The person who made the least sense to bring along is Isabelle of all people. Incineroar's been tight with Funky for the longest, so he could have picked Chica over Isabelle any day..."

"Speaking of which,..." He turned to the chicken herself. "what are your thought about it? It's your sister, after all."

"...Uh, well..." She figured that it was best for her to give her honest opinion. "Not gonna lie, I was kinda confused on why he did pick Isabelle over someone like me. Like, I wanted to see my sister. You and Wolf are clearly not blood related and neither is Daisy and Birdo... And Wolf's already played this game. So I didn't really understand why Incineroar didn't choose me to go..."

"I just wanted to get more time with my sister, because I had so much to talk to her about. As Incineroar kept calling on people that were going to go with him on the reward, I kept looking at the people who were left, and I thought I might have had a chance, but I didn't get chosen... So now Daisy and Panther are complaining that game wise and... morally, I guess, was not the right move to make... I'm not complaining as much as they are, but I... kinda get why they're upset. It just doesn't seem fair..."

"I mean, honestly," Rose shook her head in complete frustration. "even not even taking Chica into account for her loved one, sending us three here is just a major slap on all of our faces. This is really alienating the three of us. No matter what alliance you're on, you're gonna have to be friendly to everybody because these are the people you're playing with, and you never know if that person on the jury is the one vote that you need. But,... I'm not just mad at Incineroar for that in particular... it's for everything else he's done."

"You mean for him eating more than his fair share at that other reward?" Panther cocked his head to the side. "Or at the other one where he tried to force his strategy down our throats for somethin'?"

"I think he was trying to force us to hop on his side. Something like that..." She then frowned at him. "Hey,... what's funny?"

Caroso was seen snickering before he decided to let all of his laughter out. "I just find it funny of how the three of us ended up coming back to camp as if we're right back on Quetzal getting ready to vote somebody out."

"..." Chica remained silent

"Incineroar is the definition of Brawn over Brains. It's really not that hard to see why he was put on the Brawn tribe." Daisy thought out loud. "Everything that comes out of his mouth is just plain stupid. He gives all the other people from the Brawn tribe a bad name. I don't even know why he is still in this game. Specter deserved to be here, Ryu deserved to be here, Katt deserved to be here, Jet, you know what, even Tifa deserved to be here and I never even met her! But I know darn well that Tifa much more smart of a player than Incineroar will ever be. This guy is a problem. He is a problem with a capital P."

"You know what, that's it." She had enough. "When Plague Knight gets back to the camp, we're gonna tell him that we're voting for Incineroar. He can win challenges and he is flat out annoying."

"Woah, woah, woah..." Panther waved his hands out. "Slow down for a second. Don't wanna play too emotionally here. Maybe him being back on the bottom would be satisfying enough. Funky Kong is more threatening and Isabelle is more threatening. We probably just need to vote Funky out to take out his closest ally, who is also likely to win more challenges. And if Funky wins immunity, we vote Isabelle out. Either way, we're gonna need Plague's vote."

Day 33

Plague Knight, Funky Kong, Incineroar, Isabelle

As for the three castaways that were chosen for the reward, they all sat around together chatting among themselves, with the occasional thank you to Incineroar, Funky Kong being the one in charge of the barbecue.

"Hey, Donkey..."

"What?"

"Don't forget. We're switching in ten minutes." Funky Kong warned, apparently not wanting to be the typical guy that was always glued to the barbecue and missing the perfect opportunity to socialize.

"Alright, alright, you don't have to tell me twice..." Funky's cousin replied.

"Aw, man... I really feel guilty you guys..."

"About what?" Isabelle asked Incineroar, putting her desired condiments on her burger.

"..." He blinked for a brief moment. "About how I'm not the one managing the barbecue. Like,... okay, I was trying to learn how to cook, but due to me being busy, it kinda got put on the backburner and then I got put out here. I'm more than capable of cooking something."

"Don't worry." Elio shook his head. "You can learn right after this is over before you go back to work."

"Okay, great." Incineroar was all over it. "Because if I get brought out here again and if I win this reward, I will be the first to start barbecuin'..."

"No need to feel guilty about that, Incineroar." Funky Kong disagreed. "I got brought out here and I didn't have to do anything, so this is the least I can do."

"So this is my second challenge I managed to win. And of course, I'd like to dedicate that challenge to my Pokemon Trainer." The champion stated. "Trainer Elio means everything to me, and I wanted to spread the love, you know what I'm sayin'? Not bringing Funky along would have been a major crime. But I brought Isabelle and Plague Knight here for obvious reasons. I mean, why wouldn't I? I gotta protect this alliance and we need Plague more than ever. I don't want anyone over here to be separated..."

By the time both Kongs were done with the barbecuing, they felt like they had more than enough food they were to eat.

Donkey Kong sat down right beside his first cousin. "Alright... I guess we should call this 'family time'..."

"My cousin Donkey Kong has played this game before me. Sure, we have the same last name, but it's not all the time where people have the same last name and be related. Me and Donkey are, but say if people didn't know our last name and if were seen together... I don't really know if many people would still think we're blood related due to our different personalities. As I've said before, we're total opposites, but at the same time, it just... works... Maybe that's why when it comes to real life couples, opposites do attract..."

Funky Kong was seen laughing rather loudly at a joke he heard from Incineroar, only to cause Donkey Kong to roll his eyes with a sigh.

"My apologies for his behavior, everyone." He felt that he was his responsibility. "I try to tell him how to act, but it's not all the time where he actually listens."

"Aye!" He glared under his sunglasses. "Don't throw me under the bus in front of everyone, man!"

"Maybe we do still click because we have more hidden similarities than obvious differences. We're both strong, tough guys, we both like to hang out and meet new people, and just like to have fun and enjoy a good time. Sure, people say that Diddy's Donkey Kong's partner, but I kinda feel like Donkey's my partner as well. He goes out on his adventures with Diddy, while I make inventions for his adventures whenever he needs something, and I always break my back to make sure he has everything he needs. ...Even when it comes to possible dangerous situations where it could mean a difference between life and death. I mean, I am one of those people that would say 'safety first' if you know what I mean. Just how whenever you go biking, helmets do in fact save lives, hahaha!"

After the meal, there was still some spare time left the survivors had with their loved ones, and every last person there wanted to take advantage of it.

For starters, Plague Knight was talking of the events of his game non-stop to his partner in crime, Mona, the two of them sitting on a nearby log.

"But then the next night, would become my best, night, ever." He appeared to be getting to night twenty-four. "Alright, so I overheard Ryu and Incineroar talking about me and saying that the plan was to blindside me for being out of the loop on my old tribe! Oh, had I not been there at the time, I would have been gone a looooong time ago and I would have never gotten to see you!"

"What did you do?" Mona cocked her head to the side.

"I decided to talk with Specter Knight because when I swapped, he was the most likely person I thought that was willing to work with me. Little did I know, he apparently grew tired of Ryu's Strong Guys Alliance and figured that Ryu, Golden, Incineroar, and Funky Kong were going to win all the individual immunity challenges. So he decided to make a move at that time before it was too late. However," He raised a finger. "He didn't have enough numbers. It was just us two plus Daisy and Chica because they were out of the loop at the Katt vote. But, guess what? Specter had an idol that nobody even knew about. So the two of us came to Daisy and Chica and we decided to let Specter play his idol on me, negating their seven votes, Chica and Daisy voting for Golden, and then me and Specter voting for Espio due to Funky Kong winning the challenge, so we couldn't have voted for him. But then,"

He began to laugh out loud. "okay, so the whole point of us four splitting our votes was because of us thinking that one of the Brains having the idol. The funny thing is though, Espio actually had it. And you know what he does? He plays his idol for Golden and he idols himself out of the game. Like an idiot! Hahahahahahahaha!"

Obviously all those times Specter lectured him at tribal, Plague still had yet to understand.

"So let me get this straight..." Mona finally spoke. "Espio is an idiot for trying to save his own ally? By your words, he did seem that he was pretty close to him. I don't think he knew that his name was going to be written down."

"Well,..." He glanced off to the side for a bit. "it still counts! He still did it, didn't he?"

Mona laughed. "You haven't changed one bit. I can't wait for you to get back. We still need to work on the Ultimate Potion."

"Ohhhhh boy, and I can't wait for that!" He then suddenly formed a nervous grin. "Oh, and uh,... if I catch you dancing alone again, for now on, I'm going to join you in our spare time."

She blushed in response. "Oh, I still feel embarrassed when you caught me for the first time... But when you danced with me the first time, it felt quite nice. Maybe we should do it again when we get back."

"..." For a moment, Plague Knight did not know what Mona was exactly thinking of the time, yet he did not care. "Well, if you don't want to feel embarrassed anymore, I could give it a try again... I'm still gonna warn you though. Not lying when I say I have two left feet when it comes to dancing."

"I guess with all this work and me telling people what to do, I will admit the truth when I say that it is very exhausting sometimes! I'm only one person, so it's hard to managed every last one of my employees at the same time. But with Mona there, my life isn't that hard suddenly. I didn't even have to ask for help in the beginning. She was just that eager to form a partnership with me. Even when it's not always too busy, I do feel like I need someone to share my enjoyment with. And I think with me talking with her, I am now ready for anything. I have one week to make all the moves I can to get to the end and win it all. And right now, it all starts with me being a swing vote once again. Things are getting serious here..."

Meanwhile, Funky Kong, Donkey Kong, Isabelle, and the Villager all remained at the table.

"Alright..." Isabelle said with a sigh. "Now that we're both here, Funky, I guess we can strategize while we can while the other two are away... We need Plague Knight's vote..."

"Now more than ever..." Funky Kong replied, shaking his head at the thought knowing Plague's history. "I don't know how we're gonna do it."

"I may not know either, but at the end of the day, we have to do it. Otherwise, me, you, and Incineroar will be knocked off one by one. This may be our last chance to get the upper hand again."

"Oh, well, I'd better let you do all the talking, then. You have much better communication skills than I do." He figured. "I don't wanna blow it, because us not having Plague Knight screws all of our games."

"Do you guys think that Plague Knight might have an idol of his own?" Donkey Kong asked everyone. "Like, if you guys have seen my season, or any season, you all very well know that sometimes people can have idols where you least expect it."

"Well, Specter for sure happened..." Isabelle sighed and glanced to the side. "That's pretty much how we ended up in this predicament in the first place. Had it not been for him, things would have been completely different and both Espio and Golden would both still be here... But I think Panther would be more likely to find another idol than the other two. I doubt voting for him would be the best option, though let's call him Plan A."

The Villager laughed at that. "You and your plans. I feel like we're both back at the office all over again."

"Daisy's Plan B and Chica's plan C." Cosgrove continued. "Now what would make Plan B occur is if we all decide that we are too scared of Panther that he will come up with something. He could be searching for another idol right now, even though Funky Kong still has his."

That completely took Donkey Kong by surprise, staring at his cousin completely dumbfounded. "...You have an idol!? ...And you didn't tell me nothin'!?"

"Hey, I forgot!" He defended with a shrug. "I was too busy having fun here!"

"And Plan C would occur is if say either Panther or Daisy wins immunity, and it would result in us having even less room to work with." Isabelle finished. "So all in all, any of them could possible get the vote... It's just a matter of how risky do we wanna play here..."

"Panther was the only Beauty in the majority alliance consisting of SGA plus the Brains, and we didn't really want to alienate him, so we let him stick with us for a while. But before the last vote, we all decided that we gave him big enough of a break where we realized that no Beauty has left the game since Rosalina, but the attempt to get rid of Panther last tribal didn't work, and now we have to work about the rest of the Beauty tribe and possibly Plague Knight." Isabelle sighed. "Yes, I know. This is our umpteenth time trying to work with him, but I guess I have no choice but to try and reel him in now. He could go either way. Get rid of one of us for revenge, or get rid of one of Beauty for the sake of the Brains having the numbers again. So hopefully this reward means something, even though neither me, nor Funky were in the position to pick anyone..."

Day 34

Plague Knight, Incineroar, Daisy, Funky Kong, Chica, Panther, Isabelle

-/-

"Because of me being a crucial swing vote, well, guess I'm the most popular character here at the moment." Plague Knight said. "Everybody, and I mean everybody, talked to me nonstop today... But you know what, how could I complain? It's literally all about me right now. Hahahaha! It's so much fun being the swing vote, because everyone knows that without my vote, a certain someone would be out of this game. So maybe I can take advantage and let the entire tribe know that. Keep them on their toes and make them scared."

First he was seen with Chica.

"And like, me, Panther, and Daisy have no idea why I was not chosen for the reward yesterday, but my case is that maybe now is your chance to finally get back to all the people who might have wronged you in this game." She talked. "Both Isabelle and Funky Kong are in that alliance with Funky Kong's best friend. The two Brains are both threats that have to go, so with your help, you can keep us three Beauty safe, and maybe by then you would have helped vote out every remaining Brain member in this game."

To Plague Knight's surprise, that last part of Chica's explanation was something he never even thought of. Regardless, he had something he wanted to say himself. "That's rather interesting to hear."

He then laughed out of sarcasm. "After all, without my vote, you're out of this game, so I guess it's going to be all up to me at the next Tribal Council. So I'm glad that you are indeed aware of that."

"..."

Now he was talking with Isabelle.

She sighed. "And to this day I do not feel bitter towards you in any way. I do not blame you for what happened at the Espio vote, nor do I blame you for the Golden vote because that was your opportunity to get rid of him as part of your own vengeance for us blindsiding Jimmy Hopkins. I miss him, too. Had it not been for us four taking him out, who knows? He might still be here."

"But what I'm trying to say is that I would not blame you if you choose to work with us, even after all this time. Though at the same time, I also can not blame you for working with the three Beauties here. It's literally up to you. But, what I want you to know, Plague, is that you can't make this decision just to please my game, Funky's game, Incineroar's game, or any of the games of those three, you have to make the decision for your game. Play Plague Knight's game."

He was rather surprised at the content of Isabelle's case. "Hmm... I kinda like how you talk. You actually already know that you need my vote. After all, without me, you will be out of this game, anyway, and you will never make it to the finals. Probably be taken out before that."

"That..." She blinked. "is rather true. Everybody needs you, but I want you to know that it is your choice, and your choice only."

Time for Panther's turn.

"I do not know how you are gonna feel about what I have to say, especially considering the fact that I was supposed to go home the day before yesterday, but I don't think our strategic relationship should be destroyed over something like that. Yeah, you lost both Jimmy and Specter, but it's still not over. If do choose to work with us, we will do everything within our power to make sure the four of us stay tight and protect each other in order to make sure that we're all sitting in the final four. Not only we'll be that close to making it to the end, but at the same time, all four of us have our own stories out here, meaning that every person in this possible alliance has their own underdog story out here. I did my best to help my tribe win challenges, Daisy had to recover from her massive losing streak, Chica has her own personal story out here, but you have the most wild story of us all. Now, doesn't that sound beautiful?"

"Hmm... Well, when you put it that way, that does sound quite nice." He found Panther's case to be interesting as well. "It would be perfect payback for everything these people did. All of them would be on the jury, we all would be in the finals. But just so you know, all of that would take place only if you have my vote. Without my vote, you are target number one in this alliance, and you will be guaranteed to be out of this game."

"..." At least Panther respected Plague for his honesty. "Well, I'd rather hear the truth than hear a lie. My thanks..."

For the last example of the day, there was Incineroar.

"I mean, I don't know what you're thinking, but you gotta do it." He said. "It's the only way we can make it to the final four. Funky Kong and Isabelle, I don't know what you got going on with them, but forget about that. Right now we got to make this happen so that we can get to the end. It could be any of 'em. Panther's Plan A, Daisy's Plan B, Chica's Plan C. Just gotta stick to it. Alright?"

"..." In comparison to the other responses he received throughout the day, Plague Knight felt like this was the most pushy response of them all. "Well, I kinda don't like being told what to do here. I don't really think you understand this. This move cannot happen with just you and the two Brains. Four is more than three, so without my vote, you cannot make that happen. If you don't have my vote, Incineroar, you're out of this game. Do you understand?"

"What the- Of course I do!"

"Alright, then I will think about it, and then at Tribal Council we will see how this goes."

"I don't know if I'm like a retail worker in this situation or not, but Incineroar is acting as if he's an entitled customer at a retail store. You can't just force me to work to with you. This is my choice, not yours, so you can't just force your game down my throat. Of course you need me, but I'm the swing vote. Not you! I really don't know how to vote now. He's all loud mouth but he has absolutely nothing upstairs. This is why I needed to make sure every last person knows that without me, they are all SCREWED!"

Wow... Incineroar even rubbed Plague Knight the wrong way... I... I'm near speechless! Even Chica had a much better case than him and that's sad...

I think "the worst possible final three" is having episodes all about them at this point lol. First Chica, then Plague Knight, now Incineroar. Now it's getting to the point to where people in that scenario are starting to hate each other. At this point, the only person who is not ticked off by Incineroar is unsurprisingly Funky Kong. Worst player of the season anyone?

On a side note, we have a new franchise coming to Survivor... Meet Sans from Undertale! Now for this castaway, I actually don't know much about the game, but my sole reason for putting him in is for a friend of mine, Icee the Hedgehog. There were other contenders for this spot, but Sans actually made it in.

I'll see you all next chapter for the vote off!
