Lessons In Love: Chapter 101: Lessons In Love (Part 1)

Bucky Barnes met Howard Stark at the airport. They travelled together and Bucky was informed that they were going to Nebraska. He specifically remembered driving through and stopping in the state.

He said nothing about that, and he just listened to Howard. He had multiple meetings going on while he was on the plane. One meeting happened with the person being present.

Bucky was listening to the conversation that was happening between Howard and the older Stephen Strange. He suddenly appeared on the plane, and he had a few things to discuss with Tony's father.

Bucky was in the loop about the changes that were going to happen in the younger Stephen's life. Howard was the first step for that change, and Bucky thought what he was hearing was, interesting.

He remembered the younger Stephen. He told Bucky about his dead sister outside his hotel room. Bucky kept that to himself as the plan about Donna Strange was mapped out.

The older Stephen mentioned that he would not join Howard in Nebraska. He figured that his presence would only upset Eugene Strange, and he wanted the two of them to talk father to father.

Howard was in charge from that moment on. The older Stephen looked over at Bucky before he left. Bucky couldn't get over a few things, but he thought it was "cool" to see the older version of Stephen again. He was very different from the younger one.

Bucky also didn't intend to apologize to Baby Stephen for anything. Nope. He thought about that, as the older Stephen left the plane. He disappeared with some sort of magic, and Bucky gave Howard a puzzled look.

~~~~~ "Baby" Stephen told Victor that he needed to take a walk. They had been home for a while, and Stephen kept feeling uneasy about the building he saw on Bleeker street.
He wanted to see it again, and he had debated it until it was late in the evening. Stephen left the apartment, and he ventured out.
Victor didn't think anything of it. Stephen took off, and Victor watched some TV. His older brother made his way to the address that the Ancient One mentioned, and he looked up at the door.
Everything in his body was telling him to go in. Stephen thought that it was Agamotto. He had an inner compulsion that was causing him to walk toward the door. Stephen slowly brought his hand up to the cold handle, and he let himself in.
His heart rate escalated when he walked into the Sanctum Sanctorum. Stephen saw the name of the building on the wall, and he felt like he had been there before.
It felt abandoned. Stephen was breathing slowly as he looked up the giant steps. It felt like he had seen it in other places. He thought that he had stood in the same place before, in another life?
Another dimension, another time? Stephen felt confused, but every bone in his body wanted to walk up the tall stairs. He started heading up. Every step felt familiar, or like it was meant to be. Stephen couldn't get over what he was feeling.
He somehow knew exactly what was to his left. Stephen could see the door when he reached the top. The would-be-sorcerer knew that it was his space.
Stephen stood at the top of the stairs and he turned around. He started feeling a little overwhelmed with the giant skylight that he was seeing. It all felt empty, except for two things.
The first thing was behind the door that he recognized. Stephen hesitated for only a moment, then he walked into what was supposed to be his other home. He held open the door to his thinking space, and he saw something floating on one side of his room.
The Cloak of Levitation was waiting for him. It was there and Stephen watched it alter its shape. It studied his shoulders, and it expanded itself upward.
Part of his "Halloween costume" was there in the flesh. Stephen became even more overwhelmed when he saw it, and he told himself that he needed to leave. Stephen quickly left the room, and he made sure that the door was shut.
He completely left the Sanctum, and headed back to his apartment. It was cold and dark as he walked. Victor was asleep on the couch when Stephen returned. He brought a blanket out for him, and he turned off the TV.
~~~~~ So, uh...Steve and Tony got extremely lost within the first hour of their epic trip. The freeway freaked Steve out, and Tony really had no idea how to navigate Los Angeles.

They almost wrecked twice. The two of them were TERRIFIED by the giant trucks on the highway. They got very confused with the map, twisted around, and frustrated. Tony wanted to cry, and Steve thought that he had a heart attack.

They made it to, Barstow? Tony thought that they were close to Barstow, which meant nothing of worth. Steve and Tony had pulled over somewhere on highway 14.

Steve was evaluating the situation. His eyes were wide open, and he kept staring out at all the crazy traffic. Tony kept looking at Steve's knee. They both were freaked out, and the humor of that was almost setting in.

Steve seriously screamed in the car. He friggen prayed to Jesus when Tony almost smashed into some stupid van that wouldn't move.

Tony kept thinking about that and he bit his lip. Steve's eyes migrated in Tony's direction and they both tried to hold in what was building.

Was it a good time to laugh? Steve kinda needed to, but he didn't want to upset Tony. A burst of laughter escaped the brunette's mouth. He thought about all that crap his dad said about the car.

Hoo hoo... Tony really started laughing. Steve softly joined in, but it escalated when Tony told him that he started praying for his life.

STEVE HELLA PRAYED FOR SALVATION.

He thought that they were dead for sure. The blonde did not want to get back on that highway for any reason. He was freaked out, and Tony thought it was cute.

They laughed for a little while longer, and Tony made fun of him. He did it playfully, until he was brought over into a gentle kiss.

That's really all that Steve wanted to be doing. He wanted to be alone with him, and kissing just like that. Tony returned it and he asked him what he wanted to do.

They could drive to a hotel? Or stay there in the car? The two of them kept kissing, and Tony wanted to move closer toward him. The car was too small for what they had started.

Steve thought about the question, and he slowly breathed out an answer.

"I have a place, in Brooklyn. It's empty, but we could just go there?"

Right now. Steve didn't want to get back on the highway. He wanted to be with Tony, and it was the only option that he could provide. Steve's body started reacting to Tony's attention.

He moved his legs, and tried not to freak out about what he was feeling. He needed to do, stuff... or run it off for twenty miles. Tony continued to kiss him in that car, and he felt Steve's shoulders expand slightly.

His body got broader when they were intimate. Tony didn't understand it, but he noticed it every time. Steve mentioned his place in Brooklyn again. Tony was in a zone, and he forced himself to listen and pump the brakes.

He finally pulled his lips away from Steve, and told him yes. An empty place in Brooklyn worked for Tony. Going there in that moment worked for him as well. They definitely "rushed" that trip to Brooklyn.

They sent the car back to Malibu, and transported themselves outside the door to Steve's apartment. He was given the keys before he returned to the Kamar taj.

Steve fumbled with the keys for a moment, but he unlocked the door. Tony was touching his body. He was also kissing Steve's neck, and noticing how much bigger his body was getting.

He wasn't getting taller. No, there was just a bulk all over that was filling in. Tony studied it as the door was opened. That familiar doorframe caused Steve to instinctly reach his left hand for the light switch.

He had electricity back in the 1930s, but the light switch felt different against his hand. He turned it on, and dropped the keys into a familiar bowl.

Steve stopped moving. Tony continued to kiss his skin. His hands were all over Steve, until he noticed that his place wasn't empty at all. Tony saw quite a bit of stuff in the space.

Bucky made Steve's apartment as close to how it was as he could, but the coloring was new, and different. Steve couldn't believe it, and he quietly stared at the bowl.

He felt at home immediately, and the blonde brought one hand up to his face. Tony saw him wipe away a few tears, but he couldn't ask him about them. Steve started kissing Tony again and their behavior escalated.

The tears didn't come from a sad place. Steve felt happy in that moment, but slightly overwhelmed by what Bucky did.

He had Tony in a space that was his own. Steve had been wanting that for a pretty long time. He led Tony backward and took him toward his bedroom.

There was just one more thing between them that needed to be addressed. It had to do with his "uniform" and Tony's need to touch it. Steve allowed himself to be undressed, and he waited for the right moment to bring that subject up.
