Tch... People suck... (I originally had this huge ass lecture written, but then realized as to how much it was distracting my writing... go figure...)

Chapter 36: Burn It To The Ground
Madara had long since placed Sakura down so that she could walk on her own, yet he continued to hold the precious baby girl securely within his arms. The two now walked back to her own and IZUNA'S apartment considering a nursery had already been set up for baby Izuna. She had been so lost in thought that she had walked up the apartment stairs without tripping by some sort of miracle and even opened the door.
Walking inside, the battle hardened male then made his way to the nursery and paused to stare at the flurry of painted stars on the wall that looked like a storm before slightly tilting his head and seeing the Uchiha and Namikaze clan crest lingering on the wall in glow in the dark paints - white and bright red colors for the Uchiha clan crest, yet a forest green and red coloration for the Namikaze clan crest.
Walking to the crib, he released a gentle sigh as he placed the little girl within her bed as his eyes became dulled and saddened. He stared at her beauty and how she did look exactly like his little brother mixed with the softened feminine features of Sakura. His eyes slowly filled with tears as he tightly gripped the side of the crib that the sweet little girl now rested within, only for those tears to begin falling as he whispered, "What I wouldn't give if you were my true daughter." His teeth slightly clenched together until pulling something out of his pocket and placing it upon the top of Izuna's dresser that was right beside her crib.
Originally, Madara had this crafted for the little girl to have as she grew up, knowing that her uncle loved her to the moon and back... but now. Slowly, his thumb accidentally pressed against the clasp of the silver heart shaped necklace that held the words 'Eyes That Reflect The Heart', only for it to pop open to show that it was actually a music box. The melody it softly jingled out was almost sad and heartbreaking, but Izuna seemed to enjoy the gentle tunes, making her lips lightly smack together with contempt.
Sakura had heard his words and frowned deeply while listening to this melody, only to softly whisper out to not wake Izuna, "It's so beautiful..." Slowly turning his head for the pinkette to witness his tears, the hard headed male shot his gaze away to hide the "shame" of crying. Attempting to coax him to her, he refused to budge even a fraction of an inch and no matter how hard she tried, he would not come to her.
Taking a single glove off, he lowered the bare masculine paw to the sleeping child and tenderly brushed his fingers across her silky skin of her forehead, causing even more tears to gather within his, now, crimson orbs, "Y-Yes... she is quite beautiful," his tone projected out within the form of a broken and cracked whisper as if his soul was now being slowly being ripped to shreds on the inside.
"I meant the music box locket you had made for Izuna," she spoke sadly, knowing all too well that he was hurting badly on the inside. She knew too much about this muscular Uchiha male in front of her and that was breaking her heart. She watched as he showed Izuna all of the love that not only the whole world had to offer, but himself as well, with his crimson orbs and how affectionately they now gazed at her.
Continuing to gently stroke his bare fingertips across her forehead with much tenderness and care, Madara's heart began to shatter completely as he completely broke down and placed his hand over his emotional moment - making the pinkette softly cry silently as her body began to tremble almost uncontrollably. She knew that he was wishing that Izuna was his child and not his brother's. However, the more she watched him... the more she began to wish for this as well. Madara was her first love... he still held a more than special and safely guarded spot within her heart - that was something that would simply never change.
The pinkette watched this man that RARELY shared ANY emotions other than anger to her. The tears he now shed were undeniable proof that this man... adored and loved this little girl with all of his heart and soul. Shock quickly settled in once the two heard the front door gently opened and closed with a heavy and much dreaded sigh that apparently showed his displeasure for SOMETHING that was currently ongoing, making the two crying fools to quickly cease their actions.
The younger Uchiha brother began to walk down the hall of the apartment as if dreading to tell his girlfriend the dreadful news, which caused him to continue to mutter soft profanities while he rubbed the back of his long locks gently before pausing and released a heavy groan, "Man... I can't believe that I did all of that to all of my teammates. It's even worse that Sakura will now be supporting the family considering that I've been put on a minor probation. This couldn't have been a worse time either... especially since she just gave birth." Right at that moment, he began to rehearse ways of begging for Sakura's forgiveness, but none seemed good enough.
Finally reaching the female Izuna's room, the male Izuna roughly blinked once he came upon the room and witnessed his elder brother and the pinkette. A soft gurgle was then heard, along with the soft jingles of a music box. Blinking rapidly, Izuna then continued to give off a rather puzzled stare once he caught glimpse of the pink haired medic, "Why is my old music box here?" Madara snickered softly at the fact that Izuna had NEVER told the pinkette that he had used to sleep with a music box playing to help him fall and stay asleep before the two had moved in with one another and she began to sleep within his arms.
Once he FINALLY realized as to what he had just spoken, Izuna's face turned bright red, "I-I mean... yeah..." Madara continued to snicker softly until explaining, "It is not your old music box. I had a replica made for Izuna." The male Uchiha gave a beyond puzzled expression, "What? You made a replica for me?"
He had SO wanted to burst into laughter, but the little lady needed her rest. Speaking in a hushed tone, he then explained, "Everyone was informed that you had perished, so... Sakura named her after you considering that you have such a girly name. Also, since we had thought you had died, I was named as Izuna's... your daughter's... father." The younger Uchiha male narrowed his onyx orbs dangerously, obviously not appreciating the fact that he had just been told that he had a GIRLY name and that his elder brother was named as HIS daughter's father.
A whimper and whine, along with soft coughs of a cry began to release from his daughter's mouth and watched as the pinkette turned away and walked towards his daughter before lifting her within her gentle grasp while supporting her head to begin releasing soft and sweet hushes, "Izuna... shhh... mommy is right here..."
The long haired raven watched this with complete awe as Madara turned towards the little lady and had her then placed within his strong hold that basically told the entire world of all of the care and love he felt for her. He didn't know what to say as he watched this until swearing under his breath before yelling, "BIG BROTHER, I THOUGHT THAT I TOLD YOU THAT SAKURA WAS NO LONGER ANY OF YOUR CONCERN! GET OUT, NOW!" This outburst only proved to startle baby Izuna awake as she began to wail and sob hysterically.
Sakura was fed up with this bullshit and she shot a glare towards the male Izuna before scolding in a hushed tone, "Did you have to yell!? Well, Izuna!? Actually, no, I am done with your attitude. I refuse to allow you to place a harming hand on Izuna EVER." Picking up a back and packing a lot of baby Izuna's things, the younger male within the room then allowed his mouth to drop open, "Sakura, are you telling me that you are leaving with our daughter!?"
The pinkette then picked up Izuna's locket and laced it around her tiny neck before a single emerald orb snapped to bore holes through onyx orbs as she snapped angrily, "Yes! I don't know where I will go... but as long as it's away from YOU, then I don't care!" Madara gave a light shrug and exclaimed softly, "You may live at my home considering Indra and Asura have moved into their own separate homes. You would also be one bedroom short if you moved back into your parent's home since Naruto is currently looking for a place to move into."
Izuna gulped harshly at this... he knew... he knew that Sakura would slowly regress back to falling in love with his older brother if she were to move back in with him. Scowling deeply as he thought, he then internally snapped his fingers, "Sakura, this IS your home!" She glared so hatefully at this point that both men slightly gulped, "If Izuna grew up with you around, she would only be taught how to hate... not how to show love. Just be thankful that I named her after you. Oh, by the way, just as Madara said earlier, he was officially named as Izuna's father, not YOU. I placed his name for the father... not your own name. Now, we will be taking our daughter and leaving!"
He had absolutely no clue on how to even begin to comprehend this situation that had morphed into a complete mess after such a short exchange of words. His child - no - his daughter had a different male named as her father on her birth certificate... and that male just so happened to be his elder brother. At this point, he would have preferred if it had been Shikamaru... because as of now, this was all becoming such a drag.
It was now an entire four years later and Sakura watched aimlessly on the back porch as her daughter played with toys in the backyard as her music box locket played gently beside her. Her daughter was beautiful and envied... having Izuna's long low black ponytail, ivory skin color, and sparkling onyx orbs - yet held her mother's gentle but feminine features that already had little boys coming her way. Feeling fingers run through her hair and humming softly, Izuna then shot her head towards her mother as if she knew the sound far too well.
A sharp squeal was then heard coming from her child, making the pinkette's brows lift slightly until Izuna yelled, "DADDY!" That deep rumble of laughter was then heard as she watched Madara cease his affection to rush out and lift the beautiful little girl within his arms before twirling her around in a big circle as he gave a chipper tone of, "How is my most beautiful girl today!?" Izuna lifted a single brow and scoffed slightly, "Mommy is over THERE daddy, ya know?" Lifting his own brow and scoffing in reply to his daughter's scoff, Sakura internally sweat dropped, 'Are they having ANOTHER scoffing battle?'
Gracefully standing and turning to walk inside, Sakura placed all of her gear on and threw her traveling cape on before buttoning it into place. The village was under constant attack because she had stayed put for so long and she could no longer permit any of this so that she did not place her daughter in the line of fire.
Walking out of the front door, she then headed to the front gate - which honestly did not take her too long to even get there and quickly walked out as a heavy sigh was then released. She felt extremely bad for doing this, but she hadn't atoned enough, nor witnessed enough of the world with her own eyes as they were, but mostly did this as a means of keeping her daughter safe from any impending danger.
It was almost dinner time and Madara walked back into the house, only to hear the humming silence as the grasshoppers began to create their gentle tunes as a means to retrieve a mate. Blinking rapidly at how still and silent the home was, he stood still... knowing what had just happened. Izuna then walked inside the house and also began to blink at how utterly silent the home was before speaking, "Hey daddy? Where's mommy?" Peering down, he gave a soft chuckle, "I am sure that she just went out for a bit..." With how sad he had sounded, Izuna wasn't so sure if she could believe in her father's words.
A rapid eight years passed and the pinkette had yet to return. Izuna was beyond gorgeous now and walked inside the home after her day in the academy, "Hey dad!" He had been in the backyard training, making Izuna breathe out a heavy sigh. Walking to a photo of her mother, she then picked it up and stared long and hard at it. Hearing the back door open so abruptly honestly shouldn't have scared her so much, but it did and she accidentally dropped the picture frame. Leaning down, Izuna's sparkling onyx orbs began to blink rapidly due to noticing the picture had been folded.
Picking the photo up, Izuna then placed it within her shirt and grabbed a broom and dust pan. Now sweeping, she heard Madara chuckle softly, "What did you happen to break Izuna?" Tilting her head to the side and smiling, Izuna then sighed softly, "Just a cup of water, sorry dad." Dammit all to hell! He missed it when Izuna used to call him daddy and almost DREADED the fact that she now only called him a plain and simple "dad".
Now up in her room after having dinner, Izuna finally took the photo out of her shirt and opened it... only for her eyes to widen and begin stuttering out, "W-What? Why is uncle Izuna with my mom, ya know...?" - "Izuna! I just got called in for a mission! Will you be okay alone or do you want to go and stay with one of your uncles?" Snapping her head up and hiding the photo within her shirt again, she hastily replied out, "I'll be okay! Be safe, ya know!" Madara gave a soft chuckle, "Ah, but of course Izuna. You are forgetting as to who I am!" Gaining a dry face, Izuna then huffed out, "Yeah, you're my dad."
Well fuck. He missed when Sakura replied with "Well of course I remember. You are Madara... Madara Uchiha." - "Yes, well, please do send me a message if you need to go and stay at one of your uncle's home. I am quite sure your uncle Indra, Asura, or Naruto would not mind watching over you. Also, your grandmother and grandfather would not mind caring for you either. If you do not send me a message before leaving to stay somewhere else, I shall be more than upset. Understood?" - "Understood, dad..."
That same mission ended up harming Madara badly and put him STRAIGHT in the hospital due to the stone village attacking him with odd unknown explosives. Thankfully he was all right though and Izuna met him there to help the nurses patch him up with her medical ninjutsu. All though he had been healed, a lot of blood had been lost and he ended up having to stay put due to needing to rest so that he recovered much quicker.
Minato sat in his office and frowned as he gained a message from his daughter that she needed to meet up with him to explain some issues that have been ongoing and also about how she had been attacked, which only made him glance up at the ceiling and huff before he blew his bangs upwards. Shikamaru then entered and chuckled, "What's that about Lord Fourth?" Minato snickered softly... not knowing his granddaughter was on the outside of the room and keeping her chakra hidden from her grandfather as he spoke, "Ah, my daughter sent me a message concerning some troubling issues, so I need to go and meet with her in person."
'H-He's talking about my mom!' Izuna thought in a frantic tone and ran out of the Hokage's Tower, only to bump into her uncle. Blinking rapidly and snickering, Naruto leaned over, "Hey Izuna!" Izuna blinked softly and smiled, "Oh, hey uncle Naruto. What are you doing?" Naruto leaned back and chuckled softly before holding up a bento, "Your grandfather forgot his lunch. So, I'm taking it to him." - 'THIS IS MY CHANCE!' Her thoughts screamed as she spoke aloud, "Oh, I can take it to him if you want!"
She knew that her grandfather had already teleported to the front gate and Naruto groaned once he felt the same thing, yet nodded, "I'd really appreciate that considering he is sending me on a mission, ya know?" Nodding her head, she hurriedly took the lunch and waved as she bolted away, "Bye uncle Naruto!" He chuckled as he waved back, "See ya, Izuna. Make sure you don't get hurt or your dad will kill me, ya know?" Izuna smiled brightly as she hollered back, "Don't worry, I'll be safe!"
Frowning and looking down, Naruto then ruffled his blonde locks that now matched his father's hair, "Well, I might as well go tell Madara that Izuna is planning on meeting Sakura. Dammit all to hell, why am I always the one put in these situations, ya know?" Releasing a soft groan, he then witnessed his wife walking to the hospital with his son and daughter to go and check up on Madara. He had to get there first, so he used his Flying Raijin to quickly get to the moody male.
"MADARA! BAD NEWS, YA KNOW," Naruto hollered and just about gave Madara an effective heart attack. Shooting the blonde dummy a glare, he then released a heavy and dreaded breath, "What happens to be the problem Naruto?" He watched as Naruto basically did a panic dance while hollering, "IZUNA IS GOING TO FOLLOW MY DAD SO THAT SHE CAN MEET SAKURA!" Shooting up with widened eyes, yet winced the moment one of his wounds reopened - making Naruto wiggle a finger at him, "OH NO YOU DON'T! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, YOU WERE BADLY HURT MADARA, YA KNOW!?"
Peering down at his lap and fidgeting with his hands slightly, he then came clean, "Naruto... Izuna is curious as to who Sakura even is. It is effecting her a lot that her mother is not around each and every day in the same way that Hinata is around for Boruto and Himawari." Naruto then lifted a brow, "And that's... bad?" Madara then shot a glare towards the door, "Whoever is there, enter. Do not make me say it tw- Boruto?" Boruto then walked in and frowned heavily, "Hey uncle Madara. I can go after Izuna if you want." The moody uncle then peered towards Naruto, whom only could shrug, "Be safe."
Boruto dashed and used all of the shortcuts he knew of to catch up to his cousin, "IZUNA, WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING!" The sudden burst of yelling scared Izuna so badly that she shot her fist out and slammed it into her cousin's face, "Oh, my bad Boruto. Don't scare me like that! I plan of following Lord Fourth to meet my mom..." Boruto then gained a devious gleam, "Aunt Sakura? I've never met her, but from what dad tells me... she's a SERIOUS powerhouse! Let's do it!"
The tag team followed Minato for the longest time until he landed and turned around, "Alright you two, that's far enough." Izuna held up the lunch and winked as she walked out, "Hey grandpa! Naruto asked me and Boruto to bring you your lunch!" Minato instantly gave a dumbfounded expression and huffed, "Izuna, honestly!? Ah... dammit... let's take a break..." He could already tell where this was going and it all circled around his pink haired child. Izuna was fretting over not having her mother around and the rather young appearing grandfather could tell that with ease.
Izuna glanced down sadly, "Hey grandpa...? What's... What's my mom like...?" Minato had called it. Blowing his bangs up softly, he then gave a soft chuckle, "She's extremely hard headed like you are and has a strength within her that I have never seen within anyone else. She holds an immense amount of chakra that make her seem as if she is a keeper for more than three tailed beasts." That didn't exactly answer her question, but she nodded softly and peered down until Minato shouted frantically, "IZUNA, MOVE!"
Jumping to her feet, the twelve year old dashed to the side as a boy with sickly white skin hurled a bladed chain at her. Watching the small boy open his eyes, Izuna gasped sharply, "He's an Uchiha!? Grandpa, watch out! He has the Sharingan!" Boruto began to secretly fan her off and mouthed 'GO', making her nod her head as she called out, "Grandpa, I'm going to make sure that there aren't anymore of these guys ahead! Which way is my mom!?" Minato immediately pointed in the direction, "Go! I will protect Boruto!"
He knew Izuna would be all right. Considering she had been born from Sakura and Izuna, the young girl held a vast amount of chakra as well. Thanks to Madara, Izuna had become a fabulous sensory type that outmatched majority of his ANBU and had even been taught by him on how to fight... which was terrifying to even think of.
On her way there, tears flowed down Izuna's face as she smiled brightly, 'I'm finally going to meet mom!' With that said, she gave a harsh blink... only for her Sharingan to awaken at that moment. Finally landing with her long low black ponytail cascading behind her, Izuna then walked inside and peered around - only to hear an overly agitated voice, "I'm very impressed that you found me." Standing up, Sakura began to walk forward with no Sharingan activated - but her left Rinnegan orb watched the young girl ever-so diligently as she narrowed her orbs, "Are you one of them?"
"MO-" Izuna was about to call out to her mother, only to see her mother pulling out her blade and slamming it beside her head. Almost instantly Izuna's Sharingan based orbs filled with tears and appeared terrified of the pinkette before her. Sakura slowly began to reach out to Izuna until she shakily yelled out, "M-MOM!"
The pinkette's actions came to an abrupt halt and her eyes widened immensely, "I-Is that you...Izuna? My daughter...?" Fuck it all to hell, how could she mistake this one? Izuna's long low ebony ponytail swung slightly as she lightly stepped away and nodded, "Mhm..." Sakura pulled her hand away as sweat lightly beaded down her forehead and closed her eyes, "I see..." Izuna then opened her eyes to stare at the beautiful mother in front of her very eyes, "W-When I first saw you... I-I knew that you were my mom..."
Pulling her sword out of the pillar that she had deemed fit to impale, the door then opened when Minato and a plus one walked in, "Ah, there you are Sakura. Sorry honey, I'm a bit late," he playfully spoke while giving a cute wink towards his daughter. Giving a dry look, Sakura gave a heft sigh, "Dad, what exactly is going on!? Why did you bring children with you!?" Boruto's eyes then began to sparkle at the beautiful woman in front of him, "WHOA, GRANDPA, THIS IS MY AUNT!?"
'Oh for fucks sake... I can tell who's kid THIS is without even having to guess...' Sakura sweat dropped as Minato gave another chuckle, "I'm sorry about that. Boruto and Izuna wanted to um... well they... erm..." - "Spit it out dad..." Sakura's patience was now hanging by a god damned thread and even Minato could tell that, considering he stiffened up almost immediately, "RIGHT! Well, they wanted to meet you..." Izuna's crimson orbs then slammed shut, "I CAME HERE TO MEET YOU MOM! I found out that grand- Lord Fourth was going to be meeting up with you, so I followed him..."
Keeping her eyes down, Izuna's voice then projected softly, "There's something I really wanted to ask you..." Sakura turned her body and stared at how beautiful her daughter was, yet kept completely silent until finished, "Well, what is it then?" Nodding her head so that her silk based locks followed her head, she then stuttered, "O-Okay... well... I wanna know... is dad... my real dad?" AH HELL, SHIT JUST HIT THE GOD DAMNED FAN.
Angry now due to the pinkette's silence, the long haired raven then clasped her hand in front of her chest and yelled, "ANSWER ME! IS HE MY REAL DAD OR NOT!?" Minato sharply snapped his orbs to the side, fully knowing that Izuna would be able to tell if she were to look in his eyes as Sakura slightly tilted her head, completely oblivious to the question that had just been initially asked, "Why? Did something happen?" Fury continued to bubble up inside of the young daughter as she angrily grumbled, "Did... something... happen!?"
Snapping her crimson gaze up to stare at her mother angrily, Izuna began to yell furiously, "YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN AROUND MY WHOLE LIFE! WHY WON'T YOU EVER STAY AROUND AND LIVE WITH DAD!? DO YOU EVEN CARE THAT YOU'VE FORGOTTEN WHAT YOUR OWN DAUGHTER EVEN LOOKS LIKE!?" Pulling out the photo she had been holding onto, she then snapped it open, "AND WHAT ABOUT THIS PICTURE MOM!? WHY ARE YOU AND UNCLE IZUNA KISSING!? DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT THIS IS ANYTHING THAT I COULD EVER TALK TO DAD ABOUT!?"
Minato then lowered his body to gaze at the photo, "Hang on, I know that photo..." Izuna's rage was not being quelled as she continued to "scold" her mother, "DAD WON'T TELL ME ANYTHING AND YOU'RE NEVER AROUND! MY LIFE IS ONE BIG MESS!" Taking deep and angered gasps, she then shot her head up and spoke in a normal, yet angered tone, "So mom, what have you been DOING this whole time!?" Sakura's eyes slightly dulled as she finally spoke, "What I do... has nothing to do with you..."
Izuna's eyes widened in shock and pain at this answer and took shaky breaths in before slamming her eyes shut, "JUST FORGET IT!" With that, Sakura's daughter bolted out of the room and Boruto quickly snapped his head around and began to run after her, "I-IZUNA!" Minato instantly gained a worried face, "Sakura, don't you think it's about time that you told Izuna the truth...? Come on, at least tell her why you can't return to the village." Tilting her head away from her father, her eyes looking pained and full of hurt; yet her tone remained level, "She had Madara... and he will always be there. They'll be just fine..."
"That might be true, but still... Izuna does deserve to know the truth about who her father really is," Minato managed to mumble out sadly before turning and walking out. Approaching his granddaughter, Minato placed a hand on her shoulder and knelt down, "Izuna, let me tell you something. Your mother literally CAN'T stay in the village for too long and doesn't come to see you so that she doesn't cause you any stress or worry."
This caused the long haired raven peer up at her grandfather, "But why? WHY can't she stay for too long and WHY doesn't she come and visit me!?" Releasing a heavy breath through his nostrils, Minato frowned deeply, "Well... that's hard to explain. A few years back, one of her eyes got stuck..." - "It got stuck... She doesn't come home because her eye got STUCK!? STUCK ON WHAT!?" This made the Fourth Hokage internally groan, but replied to his granddaughter, "Your mom... she has very special eyes. Something within her simply gave up is what I am guessing. So her eye, it can't go back to normal and it puts the village at high risk for attack."
"WHO CARES ABOUT THE VILLAGE! WHAT ABOUT ME AND WHAT ABOUT DAD!? DOESN'T SHE CARE!?" Izuna yelled as tears filled her crimson orbs all over again. Well shit, he's never been good at these types of things. One step at a time, am I right? Sighing, Minato ran a single hand through his messy locks, "Izuna, she left you in the village BECAUSE she loves you. I guess I need to be completely honest. Your mom holds the power of the sage of six paths... yet on a far greater scale and magnitude. She wields the Rinnegan and her left eye is stuck within the Rinnegan... unable to go back to its original color. She knew that people would come for her eye and the skin on her palms."
This made Izuna blink rapidly, "The... skin on her palms...?" Nodding his head slightly, he then mentally blew his bangs up that HE was the one who was having to wreck his granddaughter's day for a SECOND time, "She wields the sun and moon symbols of light and shadows. The sun is on her right hand and the moon is on her left hand. So, considering she has both the Rinnegan and the sun and moon symbols, your mother is a constant target for attacks. She didn't want to have to put you in that constant state of danger, do you understand Izuna?" Looking down slightly, she then gave a gently reply, "Yeah..."
"Madara, we just need to run a couple more tests to see if you are all clear. The next up is-" Shizune spoke as she walked into the hospital room while scanning over his charts that seemed completely fine. Noticing the window open and no one inside the room, Shizune could only groan softly and slap her palm to her face, "Where in the hell did he go NOW!? I swear to GOD that he is NO better than Sakura when it comes to being as RECKLESS as one can get!"
Sensing chakra, Minato narrowed his eyes dangerously before grabbing Boruto and Izuna, "FLYING RAIJIN!" Vanishing, he then appeared at a marker he had placed earlier and slowly peered up to see two people jumping down from the building that his daughter had been inside of. Smirking softly, Minato then placed a single hand on his hip, "He's all yours, Sakura."
The pinkette was already in the air and her blade was drawn as Izuna shot her hand out and yelled, "MOM, NO!" Her one emerald orb had shifted into her Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, yet both were now dangerously narrowed at the pair that DARED attack her child. More metallic based blades were then hurled at the pink haired legend, causing her single crimson orb to begin dancing about to witness all of the directions of the blades. Swiftly, Sakura began to slap all from the air with her blade in fast paced strikes and Minato instantly darted to a new location due to knowing as to how reckless his daughter was.
The odd appearing male held many Sharingan orbs that littered all over his body and it was kinda nasty to look at in all honesty. The male then appeared in front of the mother with his marked palm as Sakura rammed her blade forward, only for the male to grasp it tightly - thinking that she would not let go. The child then jumped out into view and her bangs fluttered away from her left eye and narrowed it towards the boy before switching places with him and made a single hand sign that Izuna knew VERY well, thanks to her father that is.
"FIRE STYLE: MAJESTIC DESTROYER FLAME," Sakura then launched the beyond massive fire based attack and even though the boy shielded the larger male, he still took massive damage. Gracefully landing, Izuna's eyes sparkled, "Wow... mom is amazing! She's incredible..." Minato then peered back with a gentle smile, "To be completely honest, she's holding back... A LOT." Just then, the pinkette picked up her blade and flicked the blood off as if it were repulsive before appearing in front of her father, "Dad, can you watch over Izuna?" He then nodded and placed a marker on his granddaughter and grandson.
Just as Sakura began to rush forward, Minato's eyes widened and his face twisted in pain once his daughter's blade became rammed within his gut. Izuna's eyes widened immensely, "GRANDFATHER! HOLD ON, I'LL STOP THE BLEEDING!" Sakura peered back and noticed that her daughter had learned medical ninjutsu effectively, yet her eyes widened in shock the moment she witnessed blades coming straight for her child and immediately rushed to shield her. Feeling the blades lodged within her back and arm didn't exactly feel GOOD to say the least, considering she now cringed in pain.
Trying to move, the pinkette actually began struggling to even take the slightest step forward, "I-It's getting hard to move..." Hearing about how her eye was needed to bring the Akatsuki back to life and how he was going to take it right now, a shocked facial expression then crossed his face as a wild mane of black and blue thorns flashed in front of him as none other than Madara appeared and slammed his fist into his chest, "I DO BELIEVE THAT IS MY WIFE AND CHILD YOU ARE THREATENING TO BRING HARM TO! DO NOT MISTAKE THAT YOU WILL LEAVE HERE ALIVE!"
Izuna's eyes widened immensely almost immediately, "IT'S DAD!?" Sakura looked dumbfounded, yet on the inside she honestly wasn't all that shocked considering she knew of how much of a fantastic sensory type he was. Gaining an almost annoyed expression at this, her head then dropped in defeat, 'He probably sensed the surge in my chakra almost immediately... fuck I messed up. Honestly though... DOES HE NEED TO MAKE A LONG WINDED SPEECH EVERY TIME HE GOES TO KICK SOMEONE'S ASS!?'
What Madara had claimed was true though, the two had been "formally" married for nine years now. Once Izuna had turned three years of age, the two married... but Madara only got to spend a grand total of one year with his pink haired wife before she decided to pull "a Sakura", or in other words, a vanishing act - which left him to constantly be constantly harassed by his little brother to give him the custody of his daughter. Which, of course, he would never comply with.
A massive crash was then heard and seen by all who were there. Boruto then peered around and his mouth gaped at the massive crater his uncle had actually created in the first place. Watching the moody male finally erect his body with a bored expression, he then walked over to the pinkette and pulled all of the blades from her back and arm - making her swiftly punch him across the face due to the fact that he wasn't exactly being delicate with this "dainty" little flower.
Sky blue orbs instantly began to shimmer in awe as Boruto finally shouted out in an excited tone, "UNCLE MADARA!" - "Hm?" Madara's lazy fared voice then echoed out as he then sat up and rubbed his cheek before he turned his head towards the young man that was the same age as his daughter. He was SO damn excited that he had been there to bare witness to not only his aunt in action, but his powerhouse of an uncle as well - making him excitedly... and stupidly... make the god of war's ego even larger than it already was, "YOU ARE SO... SO... SO COOL! WE HAVE BRING A FAMILY MEMBER AT THE ACADEMY TOMORROW, WILL YOU COME FOR ME AND SHOW OFF MORE OF YOUR SKILL!?"
This comment made both Sakura's face and Izuna's faces to become incredibly dry as the twelve year old Uchiha female rolled her eyes and folded her arms while muttering, "Pushover..." Turning towards her mother with a hopeful and saddened puppy dog expression, Izuna then took her mother's hand gently and spoke as if she already knew the answer to her question... yet, began to speak in the form of an unsure tone, "M-Mom...? Will you please come to my presentation tomorrow at the academy...?"
Sakura tilted her orbs to the side sadly - she knew she just COULDN'T, but the moment she peered into her daughter's hopeful onyx orbs... the great and mighty Sakura Uchiha had effectively been defeated. Sighing heavily as she ran a gloved hand through her long tresses, Sakura released a LONG and dread filled sigh, "I don't suppose it would hurt to come home for a while, so I think I can manage that Izuna." Madara then folded his arms and snickered under his breath, "Yes... if you are out of bed in time..."
The pinkette's eye began to furiously twitch as she stormed up to the teasing male and punched him roughly across the head - making him groan in agony and hold the top of his head. Izuna then allowed a face of disgust to appear on her face, "That is so perverted dad. Way to keep those pervy thoughts under control! I swear, you are worse than a teenaged boy!"
Lifting his brows playfully, Madara began to laugh as he stood and brushed his Uchiha branded cloak off so that he rid it from any and all dirt. 'FINALLY. It took you long enough to come home!' He knew his feisty little wife would hear his thoughts... and hear his thoughts she did. Turning towards Madara, she then took him within her arms lovingly, "Forgive me for that..." Madara snickered playfully, yet wrapped his bulky arms around her tightly before muttering softly, "I have missed you so much..."
Izuna silently watched the affection that both of her parents held for one another and immediately began to feel incredibly guilty that she had put her mother through an entire interrogation. Just as Madara had claimed... that man did not leave from this place alive and well. Just as all passed through the gates, Izuna immediately witnessed an extremely sour face coming from her uncle as she held her mother and father's hand happily - only for her to lightly tug at her mother's arm, "Mom? Why does uncle Izuna look so hurt, sad, and angry...?"
That was a story she was not willing to share as of yet. There had been so many surprises today that she felt like a child that used the stove for the first time... only to burn her entire home to the ground in the process. A soothing smile then graced the pinkette's lips as she spoke, "I will tell you soon enough. As of now... you simply wouldn't understand."
...
Walking through the door of her home, Madara immediately whirled her around and brought her into his arms before beginning to stroke her long hair tenderly, only to whisper teasingly, "You need a haircut." This comment only made Sakura's eye twitch slightly and the moment Madara clasped her hair at the tops of her thighs tightly, she swiftly pulled out her blade and effectively sliced her hair that was being held as hostage off.
Just as the pinkette was in the middle of dinner while Madara leaned on the counter to speak to her, rough knocks came to the door and Izuna called out in a chipper tone, "I got it!" Sakura turned to Madara and smiled softly, "You've done a wonderful job raising Izuna, Madara." This made the Uchiha male scoff as he traced a bare finger lazily over her thigh, "Which one...?" Chuckling softly at this, Madara then made the mistake of turning his back so that he was no longer able to watch his child open the door to wrap his arms around Sakura's lean and muscular abdomen.
"Mom, dad! Uncle Izuna came over to see mom, dad, and me," the Uchiha child exclaimed in a chipper tone as she bounced into the kitchen, only to stop and stare at her parents. They were so in love... even she could easily witness this. Her father had his head placed against her mother's shoulder blades, obviously taking in the scent of her long locks; while her mother only stood there and allowed it to happen with a gentle smile placed on her face. Rushing to her parents, Izuna then wrapped her arms around both parties and startled the both slightly, only to smile tenderly as they wrapped a single arm around the little Uchiha princess.
Watching his little brother walk in, the moody male scowled slightly and thought to himself, 'Damn my little brother... he is probably here to try to attempt taking my daughter AGAIN.' Sakura appeared slightly shocked at this initial thought and placed a tender hand over one of the angered male's hands before softly whispering, "Deep breaths, Madara..." Izuna peered up curiously and witnessed her mother with one of the most serene and angelic faces she had ever witnessed.
The long haired raven male cleared his throat, only for the pinkette to turn her head and smile, "Hey Izuna, it's been a while!" Both the male and female Izuna tilted their heads and gave same exact face and huff, "Mom, which one of us are you even talking to!?" Sakura chuckled softly and poked her daughter's nose, "Well, surely not you, Na."
Izuna had NEVER been given a nickname... so the fact that she had, made the preteen feel extremely warm and fuzzy inside. Now her uncle and herself wouldn't answer at the same damn time thinking someone was talking to the both of them, making her giggle softly, "Na, huh? I like that!" The male Izuna then peered over to the pink haired mother and smiled, "Welcome back home Sakura!" The pinkette lightly blinked and nodded before Izuna then began to speak again, "Hey, if you guys want some alone time, I can take Izuna off of your hands!"
Sakura tilted her head down to see her daughter's face, only to look Izuna in the eye with a smile, "Uh, no. That's quite all right! We were going to have dinner and watch a movie together before we head to bed!" Watching this man's eyebrow slightly twitch was almost priceless, yet she then added in, "But thanks for your deep concerns!" The Uchiha princess then tilted her head from side to side as if pondering something deeply until she finally just asked, "Hey mom and dad? Why DID you name me after Uncle Izuna?"
Oh, the devil within Madara then arose from deepest depths of hell as he began to snicker darkly, "Ah... that is because your uncle's name is so feminine and girly. Besides, it fit you rather well. So, we did not have to think too long and hard about it." This comment made from her father caused the preteen to slap her hands over her mouth the moment she even began to show a hint that she was about to burst into a fit of giggles.
The pinkette sighed heavily over this comment made and grabbed her rag to clean up small messes here and there to play whack-a-Madara jutsu before gaining a scolding tone, "Now, what have I told you about teasing Izuna about his name!?" Madara grumbled softly about being hit with a filthy rag and immediately buried his face into her neck so that his lips brushed against her beating pulse before whispering softly, "That was not very nice..." Sakura's entire body instantly stiffened up, her face began to turn bright red, and her heart rate began to pound at a rapid pace.
Biting her bottom lip roughly now, Sakura sank her canines in deep so that a trail of blood began to roll down her chin as her thoughts ran wild, 'I-If he doesn't stop, we are going to have a serious problem to fix.' As fate would have it, her long haired daughter peered up and began to blush furiously the moment her eyes met her mothers to read her thoughts, "M-MOM! THAT IS SO GROSS, YA KNOW!?" This actually startled the pink haired mother and rapidly blink, "Wait, what?"
The moody male finally stepped away from his wife and wiped the blood from her chin before folding his arms across his broad chest, only to begin softly chuckling, "Na has the same ability as you and your dunce of a brother. She is able to read the thoughts of others. She hasn't had quite enough practice to do it without looking them within the eye yet, but I am sure that she will get there quickly. Our daughter is a quite talented one."
Hearing the "dunce of a brother" comment, Sakura's face became rather dry as she switched the stove off and lifted the dinner to walk by all in the room. The food smelled simply divine and Izuna could not FINALLY wait to taste her mother's cooking and not just HEAR about how delicious it tasted. Placing the food on a pot holder, the pinkette's bangs finally brushed away from her face and the long haired raven male walked forward to cup her cheeks and spoke softly, "Your eye still hasn't changed back yet?" Madara wasn't liking the close proximity of his younger brother and wife, but realized he already HAD a referee.
The preteen noticed the look within her uncle's eyes and softly scowled before walking up and slapping his arm rather harshly, "Uncle Izuna, stop it! Tch, you're simply unsightly for a shinobi!" Madara pursed his lips lightly and walked to the dinner table to take a seat. Pushing her bangs back over her Rinnegan, the pink haired mother pushed Izuna's hands off of her face to snap towards her daughter, "IZUNA UCHIHA, WE DO NOT HIT! AM I UNDERSTOOD!?"
Izuna frowned, yet nodded, "Yes ma'am... I'm sorry Uncle Izuna..." Sakura then huffed, "Izuna, if you are done interrogating me now, then I would LIKE to have dinner with my husband and daughter. In other words... GET OUT!" The pinkette then pushed the long haired raven male all the way to the front door before opening it and whispering in a deadly tone, "Don't you dare screw my daughter's life over... I mean it Izuna Uchiha. You lost all rights to me AND her the day she was born, now leave. I don't ever want to see you around my daughter alone, am I clear?" He scowled softly, but said nothing as he snapped around and walked away.
The three then had dinner and it was far more delicious than Izuna would have ever expected as she leaned back in her chair with her hand over her belly, "Mom, that was SO tasty!" Sakura chuckled softly as she stood to pick up all dirtied dishes and planted a kiss on the crown of Madara's head the moment she passed by. The preteen watched her mother's serene face and smiled softly, "I'm happy that you two love each other so much."
Sakura laughed softly as she began to wash the dishes and then gained a playful gleam within her eye, "Oh, don't mistake anything Izuna. Your father is such an arrogant ass that it's not even funny." Izuna began to bubble over with giggles as Madara gained an even dryer look as he then stood up from the kitchen table and folded his arms, "Honestly Sakura?" Lifting a pink brow to this, the pinkette could only give off a giggle, "Oh, why would I kid about such a topic?" - "You know dad... she kinda has a point..."
Izuna got to pick the movie for the night as her father peeled his cloak off and hung it up so that he could lazily drape his body across the couch with one legged propped up while the other stayed firmly planted against the ground. Huffing, the Uchiha princess folded her arms, "Dad! Leave some room for mom!" Sakura then walked into the living room as she let her hair down from her high ponytail so that all locks would angelically fall into place, only to plant herself between her husband's legs and lay her head over his bare chest.
Not even halfway through the movie, sparkling onyx orbs peered at her parents silently to realize that both had fallen asleep. Turning the TV off, Izuna knew this was going to put her father's back through hell in the morning... but he finally looked as if he, too, were an angel as he slept with a single gloved hand wrapped around her mother to tenderly take hold of her hip.
Turning around, Izuna picked up one of the blankets and placed it over both, only for her mother to stir slightly within her sleep. Two different colored orbs opened and her lips tiredly tugged into a smile towards her daughter, "Izuna, honey... be sure to brush your teeth and shower... all right?" Izuna nodded gently, "Okay mom... make sure you and dad don't sleep there all night. It hurts dad's back each and every time he sleeps there." Taking note of this, she nodded and snuggled back into her husband's chest before falling asleep again.
Just as she was about to walk to her room, Izuna paused and her eyes widened at the fact that it looked like her mother now held onto the love of her life as if she were going to lose him while a single tear slid down her face to lightly drip on her father's collar bone, who instinctively tightened his tender hold on her. That's when Izuna found out that everything she had been told while growing up was true. Her mother and father had loved each other from the moment they met as children.
The sun began to wake up within the sky to announce that morning had arrived and all the pinkette could hear was a pained groan. Snapping her eyes open, she realized that they had done the one thing her daughter had warned her to NOT do. Frowning gently, Sakura sat up to witness the twinges of pain cross Madara's face - which only made her laugh as he yelled, "HOW IS THIS EVEN SLIGHTLY FUNNY SAKURA!? PLEASE DO ENLIGHTEN ME!"
Lifting her brow, all she did was sigh and raise her right gloved hand within the air. Izuna had heard the yelling and began to rush down the stairs, "DAD, MOM!? ARE YOU GUYS OKAY!?" Right at that moment, she witnessed her mother taking her right handed glove off and witnessed the pure white sun symbol on her hand and tenderly eased her husband up with her left hand before placing the symbol on her father's back, making him relax, "Thank you..."
Izuna then walked forward wide eyed, "M-Mom...?" Sakura snapped around and hastily put her glove back on, "Yes Izuna?" Izuna didn't know how to put this... so she merely said it as it was, "Is that why I heal so quickly?" She then watched her daughter peel her right hand glove off to show the SAME sun symbol, making the pinkette's eyes widen, "I-IZUNA! No, no, no... I cannot stay. I must get to my father. Izuna, you are NOT allowed to use your six paths power, am I understood!?"
Reaching out as if panicked that her mother was leaving, Madara simply grasped her wrist and lazily exclaimed, "Do try to calm yourself. You grew up with that symbol on your hand as well, so it honestly should not come to a shock to you that Izuna wields it as well. Besides, today is Izuna's bring a relative to school day. You shall NOT be missing it." Izuna's face relaxed, but then twisted the moment her father sat up, "Ew, dad! PUT SOME CLOTHES ON!" He had only been shirtless-er-cloakless... but whatever man.
As the moody male stood up and began stretching, Sakura hadn't realized this until there was light within their home - but her husband's chest and shoulder now held a tattoo. She had heard of these tattoos before, but really had never witnessed one until now. Opening his onyx orb and peering down towards the pinkette, only to witness her furious blush, he released a soft snicker and helped her up - only to pull her to his face once she stood, he then smirked, "It is not polite to stare Sakura." Rolling her eyes, she made breakfast for her family, everyone showered and brushed their teeth, got dressed, and left.
In all honesty, Izuna was DAMN thankful that it wasn't only her arrogant father walking her to the academy today. All of the women in Konoha fawned over him and he just ignored their presence with a smirk plastered on his face as if knowing far too well he was a beautiful specimen. It was horrible having to walk into class being called the girl with the hot dad. However... today was one day within the academy that she was actually looking forward to.
"Ah! Madara and Sakura Uchiha," the all-too familiar sounding instructor spoke out as he walked up to two of the three prodigies for their year. Since their class, the Leaf Village hadn't produced another prodigy until Izuna and Boruto had been old enough to enter into the academy. The two adult Uchiha's smiled softly, "Iruka-sensei, how wonderful to see you once again." Madara spoke in an extremely lazy fared tone... which was not shocking in the slightest to Iruka any longer due to the fact that knew that this young man had grown up in a way that no child should have ever had to.
Iruka gave a soft chuckle, "I'm sorry, but we are only permitting one family member per child due to the special event we have set up for the kids today." Madara sensed the chakra and merely nodded, "And only one family member is representing my daughter today. Her mother." The instructor looked extremely shocked as Sakura stood there chuckling softly while rubbing the back of her head. Stepping back and giving a graceful bow, the pinkette then smiled brightly, "You look as if you are doing well, sir." Nodding his head, Iruka then chuckled, "As do you Mrs. Uchiha."
"UNCLE MADARA," Boruto's tone excitedly rang out as he bolted towards the moody male that he had to call his uncle. Turning his head and holding his fist up, Boruto mirrored it and gave his uncle a fist bump, "I'm so stoked that you actually decided to come!" Shrugging lazily and folding his arms across his broad chest, Sakura then turned her head to figure out what was going to happen today. Well SHIT.
Sighing heavily, the pink haired legend then instructed to her husband, "Madara, flip your hair over..." Blinking rapidly, he then did as he was asked and Sakura gathered all of thorny black and blue locks within her hands before tying it up in a high ponytail, but left his bangs loose. Smiling at him once he erected his body, he then gave her a questioning gaze and she chuckled softly while patting his clothed chest, "You look really cute like this."
She was used to fighting with all of her hair flowing freely and found it no harder if her hair was tied up, though... Madara was NO different. She had found out pretty damned quick that it made one hell of a distraction towards any and all opponent she faced - ESPECIALLY after telling them her name was Sakura Uchiha... it left all within a confused state considering that her hair color, nor hair style did not mirror your average run of the mill Uchiha. However, she was actually slightly pumped if this went the way she had planned.
"So, Sakura, you will be representing your daughter, Izuna... and Madara, you will be representing your nephew, Boruto. Correct?" Iruka asked with a soft smile towards the parents, only for them to nod. Okay, now he felt a slight bit of pressure within his chest and on the inside felt nervous as hell considering what they had planned for today's events. To say the least... it was going to be one hell of a show.
All walked inside of Izuna and Boruto's classroom and instantly witnessed a tacky appearing banner that held the words 'Welcome family members!' on it. Iruka walked into the classroom and instantly noticed the pinkette and the long haired raven with their chins held within their propped up palms - almost instantly laughing internally at this the moment he saw both mother and daughter begin to drum their opposite fingers against the desk softly to not make any noise and smiled, "Welcome all students and parents! We will first be going down the line of names for our students to present their family member and anything they wish to share."
This list went on and on for so long that Sakura and Madara had BOTH begun to gather nature energy as Iruka then hummed softly, "Up next, Boruto Namikaze with his family member, Madara Uchiha." Both then stood and made their way down, yet the moment the moody, yet stoic, male stood in front of the entire class... he noticed as to how hearts were basically flowing out of majority of the current male's orbs and pointed straight towards his pink haired wife - which she merely ignored entirely to finally pay attention to the presentation of show and tell once her husband graced the stage.
Boruto gave a smirk, "My name is Boruto Namikaze and today, I have brought my uncle, Madara Uchiha, with me. He's probably the STRONGEST person I have ever met! He's even stronger than my dad and grandpa!" This made the pinkette roll her eyes as she started to become agitated the more her nephew blabbered on and ON about how STRONG her husband was.
Iruka finally sweat dropped after a certain period of time, "Boruto, your time is up. We must move on." Boruto grumbled as to how he hadn't even had the chance to finish his story of how Madara had saved them all. Looking at his list, he smiled softly, "Next up, we have a VERY special guest that most of the time protects this land all on her own. Izuna Uchiha with her family member, Sakura Uchiha." Both females stood gracefully and walked down to the platform as Izuna nervously fidgeted due to not knowing much of anything about her mother at all.
Lifting her head, Izuna cleared her throat - but found she couldn't speak until her mother gently took her hand and smiled, making her grin, "My name is Izuna Uchiha of the prestigious and illustrious Uchiha clan! Today, I have brought the strongest woman alive with me! My mother, Sakura Uchiha. She is the strongest because she gave birth to me... I admire that about her very much. However, my father is someone I know is strong as well." Izuna pulled out her music box locket and opened it for the music to play before continuing, "My mother... she can rarely come home, but she protects this village with all of her might from the shadows as if she were the true Hokage."
Minato was so amused by this that he silently stood behind his granddaughter before releasing a goofy snort of a laugh, "Is that SO, Izuna!?" Izuna jumped abruptly and turned around as she closed her music box locket and cleared her throat, "L-Lord Fourth!" Minato then gave a dark smirk and pulled out a kunai, making Sakura's eyes widen and take a step forward to allow her mass reserves of nature chakra that she had gathered to begin leaking from her body furiously - effectively freezing Minato in his place.
Sakura released a heavy sigh before she began to scold, "Really dad!? You're such an IDIOT! I DON'T KNOW WHO'S WORSE! YOU OR NARUTO!" By the end of her sentence, the beyond furious pinkette brought up her hand and accidentally slapped her father so hard that he flew out of the window, making her sweat drop immensely, "Oh... whoops..."
After almost having a panic attack from THAT much chakra being released at once, Iruka nervously clapped his hands together, "All right! Now it's time for our two part special event! First up, the students will have a one on one battle with one of their classmates to give them a taste of what the Chunin Exams are like! After that, the second round will be family members showing what a REAL battle looks like." He then added in a soft whisper, "Yeah... only Sakura and Madara could truly show them what a real battle looks like..."
All were then taken down to the Chunin Exam Second Round Arena and Sakura instantly smiled weakly at the fact that the last time she had been in this arena... Itachi had been alive. Males and females were separated as of now and Madara could see the pain his sweet wife was going through. Madara then leaned his forearms against the guard rail in the most bored fashion due to the ways these kids fought.
Finally the name randomizer popped up after the round and Iruka chuckled softly, "BORUTO NAMIKAZE VS IZUNA UCHIHA!" Both jumped down into the arena and a surge went through Izuna's eyes, progressing them straight to the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan... but this time she noticed when a handbook of jutsus flooded within her mind. Yanking up her wrist high black leather gloves, Iruka then smiled, "All right you two, you have thirty minutes! Begin!"
Snapping her orbs open wide, Sakura glanced nervously towards her daughter, 'Please... PLEASE DO NOT USE AMATERASU AGAINST YOUR COUSIN!' - 'I won't mom, don't worry.' This made her release a heavy breath of air and watched as the two darted towards one another and Izuna kept her eyes activated, making them look like a mixture of Madara's Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and Sakura's Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. Izuna had watched as to how her mother normally only fought with either her blade, or her chakra engulfed fists.
The long haired raven instantly slid to the ground, only to go right between her cousin's legs and gracefully roll backwards and catch herself with her hands to gracefully, yet quickly, lower herself before he called out, "SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" Rolling her crimson orbs, the long haired raven immediately twirled around one clone down and pressed her hand harshly against his shoulder blades to force him to bend forward and looked like a cheerleader with the way she split jump to slam her feet into two of the clones' faces. Madara then hummed softly to himself as if thinking long and hard, 'Why did that seem so familiar...?'
She knew, just like her mother, lightning style was her first initial chakra nature... but held many others as well. Through her father's rigorous training, Izuna had asked what her mother's favorite jutsu was and that actually made him ponder for quite a bit before making a spot on educated guess, "Hm... let me think. Well, I do believe that her signature jutsu was-" - "CHIDORI!" Izuna yelled as her hand became engulfed within all of that lightning that appeared to chirp like happy birds, making the pinkette blink rapidly... but was soon to gain a proud facial expression that Izuna had learned her favorite jutsu.
Izuna didn't take on her mother's light pink coloration though... no... she WANTED to look scary as hell and had crimson red lightning flowing from her palm. Dashing towards the remaining clone with impeccable speed and precision, the long haired raven mercilessly took the clone down and the crimson lightning faded from her hand. Noticing the original behind her now, the Uchiha princess swiftly jumped within the air before her face gained a look of horror as Boruto used... "SEXY JUTSU!" - "BORUTO!" Izuna furiously yelled and infused far too much chakra into her fist for a simple mock battle.
The pinkette instantly narrowed her eyes at her daughter and slightly chuckled before calling out, "BYAKUGAN!" That's when she noticed it... her daughter now held the One Hundred Healings Mark. Oh, for fucks sake. Izuna then rained down on the poor boy while yelling in a beyond furious tone for such an INDECENT jutsu being used right NOW of all times, "YOU PERVERT, TAKE THIS! CHA!" Okay, she was hysterically laughing now as Madara began to snicker at his daughter's oh-so eloquent and elegant choice of words. The entire arena began to shake and rumble, causing many family members to fall backwards.
A serious groan of pain was heard as Izuna furiously brushed her hands together and snapped her body around to jump back onto the female's side. Sweat dropping massively at the enormous crater in front of him left by Izuna, Iruka held his hand out to the ladies, "The winner of the final mock match is Izuna Uchiha! The ladies are only behind by one! Now, time for the family members! First up is..." - 'Oh FUCK!' - "T-The first battle is Madara Uchiha VS Sakura Uchiha!"
"Iruka... considering we are supposed to be showing them what a true dance is like, I must advise that you step FAR away," he warned out as he watched the pinkette sulk forward - and just like her daughter had done - she tightly yanked her wrist high black leather gloves up, yet did something Madara TOTALLY did not expect. Sakura unclasped the belt that lazily hung off of her hips off and pulled her cloak off to leave her in a black tube top that held the Uchiha clan crest on the back, making her grin, "Don't get too distracted Madara..."
Leaving her eyes as the Byakugan for now, Sakura grinned as she stood there. Iruka WANTED to see as much of this battle as he could so he called out, "THIS battle has been extended to an hour! When all fighters are ready and I get out of the way... YOU MAY BEGIN!" With that, Iruka HAULED ASS to get away from this battle.
Slowly licking her lips to tease her husband, he then growled softly and whispered, "Will you stop it!" Sakura instantly bubbled over with giggles before tossing her cloak behind him, which he didn't understand at all until that light pink chidori engulfed her hand and she switched placed with her cloak to punch Madara so hard across the face that he became the first Madara rocket. But was she done? I think not. Pulling out her blade and pinpointing where her husband was going to land, the pinkette hurled her blade so that it slammed beside his head and she once again, switched places with it.
"Fuck Sakura, you're making me look weak as HELL!" Madara roared angrily as he anticipated for her to switch again and slammed his fist into her gut and added twisting his fist so that she coughed up a small amount of blood as she was hurled away. Slamming into the wall, the pinkette gasped for air and internally smirked the moment her husband appeared in front of her and planted a gentle kiss on her lips, yet groaned one he witnessed her stance and tried to get away - but she had planned WAY ahead and tightly snatched his ponytail and growled, "If you cut your hair off again and I will cut you down..."
This made him nod nervously. He honestly did not want to go home to a furious wife. Right then and there, she began to jab at all of his chakra points, "EIGHT TRIGRAMS SIXTY-FOUR PALMS! TWO PALMS, FOUR PALMS, EIGHT PALMS, SIXTEEN PALMS, THIRTY-TWO PALMS, SIXTY-FOUR PALMS!"
He thought she was finally done... but DAMN HER TO HELL. Lacing her body with her light pink Chidori, the pinkette then grinned, "ROTATION!" That rotation was laced with her cute-yet deadly... light pink Chidori that slowly formed into a tornado that she merely stepped out of as Madara could feel all of the damage being caused to his body within this tornado of DEATH. He was just now thanking the gods that she had thought about his well-being and tuned down the destructive power of her rotation by A LOT so that she did not kill him.
Boruto watched all of this with shock... his "oh-so mighty" uncle... was losing to his wife. However, something seemed a bit too playful about this... and that's when he heard Izuna huff and yell out, "MOM, STOP PLAYING AND GET SERIOUS! KICK DAD'S ASS! CHA!" Sakura foolishly snapped her head back with a scowl, "IZUNA, LANGUAGE!" Right as she finished, Madara slammed his elbow into her jaw and sent her flying, but chased after her body like a puppy playing fetch to skid to a stop so that he could roughly connect his foot to her back.
Growling at this, the pinkette took on her six paths golden glowing attire and skin as she shifted her Byakugan into her, what was now called by many people, Rinne-Sharingan. Everyone gasped deeply as she yelled out almost furiously, "GO!" Fifty of her shadows darted out and began to clobber the hell out of her husband until she took off her six paths cloak and activated her One Hundred Healings Mark, "MADARA!"
Ah, FUCK he was in trouble. He should have made his will- oh yeah. Smirking, his orbs shifted into the Rinnegan as he activated his own One Hundred Healings Mark that rested on his upper bicep and dashed towards his wife, only for her deadly purple gaze to watch his every movement and flipped within the air, only to slam her foot into the back of his skull. The arena was now completely and utterly TRASHED thanks to those two and Madara groaned as he pulled his face from the ground... only to feel his body halt all movements as she held her hand out to him, "UNIVERSAL PULL!"
Once his body came to a halt in front of her, the pinkette kissed his lips softly before muttering, "Sorry babe..." She had been on the move and collecting nature energy the entire damned time... why hadn't HE thought of doing that!? Oh that's right, his WIFE was fifty steps ahead of him due to noticing what they were even going to be doing earlier.
Ah... so this was why she had put his hair into one of his high ponytails that he only used during training when they had first arrived. In all honesty, he was surprised that she had even remembered that he wore his hair like this when he trained. Feeling each and every single one of his chakra points turn back on, he then grinned deviously, "As am I, love... FIRE STYLE: MAJESTIC DESTROYER FLAME!"
All hell was ABOUT to break loose until he heard her call out, "GAKIDO!" Absorbing the jutsu with ease, Madara gave her one hell of a dry look before he released an all-too playful chuckle, "It almost feels as if we are back at the Final Valley, raging our war against one another all over again, does it not?" This made the pinkette peer down as she remembered that entire battle that ripped her heart into a million pieces. Stumbling back slightly, Sakura's eyes began to stop focusing for a mere moment before taking a deep breath and calming herself.
"Yes, it almost does. Except you are leaving out one simple aspect," the pinkette spoke honestly, making Madara tilt his head like a confused puppy. Light pink chakra began to completely engulf the precious pink haired kunoichi as she reached a single hand up to clench her fist over her heart as tears filled her eyes, only to then look at him with a brightened smile as those tears rolled down her face, "That you were always my first and only love!"
He could sense it, she was wasting all of her chakra on purpose. Sighing heavily, Madara fanned his hand to Iruka, "Iruka, I resign. This battle would take far too long to wage and should we continue... you shall not even have a Chunin Exams Second Round Arena for the exams that are upcoming soon, are they not?" Iruka finally released a slightly terrified gasping breath at a mere fraction of their power when it clashed together, only to nod, "Madara Uchiha forfeits! The winner is Sakura Uchiha!"
Madara's forfeit didn't sit well with the pinkette in the slightest... but she supposed that she would graciously accept the surrender when it was given to her willingly. Peering down, she knew very well that neither parties were barely even trying. Should they have been using the full extent of their true power, someone might have lost an arm. Turning, Sakura then picked her cloak and clasp up only to secure it once again with the clasp lazily dangling from her hip so that it draped to the side. Once that mission had been accomplished, the pinkette grasped her snake sword and peered into the blade momentarily before sliding it back within its sheath.
...
The family of three now sat within their home. The silence that hung within the air was dreadful and almost unbearable for all inside. Izuna finally looked up and spoke, "Hey dad...?" Madara gave an exhausted hum, "Mm?" The Uchiha princess had grown up with his odd form of answering to her and peered up, "Why'd you forfeit your match today...?"
Gaining an 'Ah' expression on his face, the Uchiha male then stretched his muscles, "Well, to be completely honest with you... neither of us were even close to using the full extent of our power. Believe me when I tell you this Izuna, your mother can be ruthless within battle. She knows when to attack, she will always know what jutsu to use, and she will always win. I honestly had no option... however..." Madara then peered down slightly and felt as if he were becoming far too weak in this day and age of peace.
Izuna slightly tilted her head, "However?" Madara gave a gentle hum and lowered his tone considerably since the pinkette was bathing, "This may sound odd, but I once met my reincarnation and he told us "People will often sacrifice something in order to protect something else. So, in order to protect something, something else gets sacrificed... In this world, whenever there is light, there are also shadows. As long as the concept of winners exist, there must also be losers. The selfish desire of wanting to maintain peace causes wars... and hatred is born to protect love. Once you look upon this world filled with peace, you will come to the realization that cooperation is merely a quieter form of conflict."
Madara then peered his head down and continued with a quiet tone, "So, you must realize, Izuna, that nothing in this world is ever what it appears to be. Your mother sacrifices everything to keep the village that she once defied... safe. So, in order to protect you and give you a bright future, she willingly sacrifices everything. However, that desire your mother holds to maintain peace has already begun to crumble and fall a part. She knows of this very well, and has begun to hate herself for not keeping as skilled as she once was to protect the deep love she holds for you."
It was simply time to come clean... he loved Izuna as if she were his own daughter, but she damn well deserved to know the truth, "Izuna, do you remember when you once confronted your mother to ask me if I was your true father?" The Uchiha princess nodded her head slightly and that made the clan leader stare into his lap as he spoke, "I shall give you the answer you so desperately seek."
This was shocking to hear to say in the slightest. This man that had raised her since the day that she had been born... this man that seemed tougher than steel... and this man who was about as hard headed as they got... was now allowing tears to drip miserably down his face as his body trembles, "Izuna... I am not your biological father. I was there for you to come into this world and I was there when your mother left your father. At the time, she had nowhere to go, so I allowed the both of you to live with me."
Izuna's face now flooded with tears as she clenched her fists tightly, "THEN WHO IS MY REAL DAD!? TELL ME!" Sakura had been behind her bedroom door and slid down to curl up in a ball on the ground to begin sobbing. He had to ignore Sakura's tears and the way her heart called out to him for now as he toyed with the music box locket that he had commissioned long ago for this little lady until opening it and the soothing melody began to play.
"You see, Izuna, this was originally your biological father's song that helped him fall and stay asleep at night. I-It's also what kept him sane for some unknown reason. I only found it fitting to have the same song placed within," he admitted honestly as he slowly peered up his crimson orbs that appeared so hurt, miserable, and lost as of now. He knew far too well... you cannot fool the eyes that reflect the heart.
The pinkette curled into a tight ball on the ground only wearing a towel as she sobbed hysterically. Madara shifted his eyes to their bedroom sadly, "Your father was announced dead on the day of your birth and since I have loved your mother since the day I met her, I did not think twice about becoming your father. When your mother and I were carrying you home, your grandfather... Lord Fourth ran out to us and told us that they had finally been successful at reviving your father." Izuna now glared and balled her fists up tightly, "WHO IS IT!?"
Madara could only sigh heavily at her impatience, "You were named after your father to honor his memory... Izuna..." This made her eyes widen and her long free flowing locks press against her back slightly before darting out of the house wearing no shoes. Reaching her un- father's home, Izuna raised her hand and was about to knock... but continued to pull her hand away. 'W-Why am I so upset about this? Uncle Izuna hasn't ever really been that nice to me. B-But dad... he's always been there for me... even if mom hasn't...'
She wanted to look him in the eye. She WANTED for him to know that she knew the truth! Gaining the courage, Izuna knocked on the door and instantly heard a slur of profanities coming from her UNCLE'S mouth. The door finally unlocked and was opened, only for Izuna to appear slightly shocked while tears filled his eyes. The Uchiha princess mentally slapped herself, much like her mother often did, and smiled, "Hey Uncle Izuna!"
The Uchiha female watched his mouth move, but no sound was projecting. Gritting her teeth, she hated saying this name when it was reserved for ONE person only, but she kind of didn't have a choice, "DAD, SNAP OUT OF IT!" Tears streaked down his face and instantly brought the preteen into his arms, "I don't care what he tells me anymore! I can't keep having MY DAUGHTER taken away from me!" She watched... as he broke down. His thoughts we only pure and that made this a tad more than conflicting.
Walking up to her biological father, Izuna wrapped her arms around him, "Dad, it's okay. I'm sure I can get mom's permission to stay with you every weekend." Why in the FUCK was she making unsure promises!? Looking at his daughter with his tear filled crimson orbs that he now wiped, he had to ask as he closed his apartment door behind the two, "So how did you figure it out?" Izuna blew her bangs upward and folded her arms, "I've always been suspicious. We look almost IDENTICAL, but I always brushed it off. Dad was the one who told me the truth..."
Hearing that roll out of his daughter's mouth pissed him off more than anything and he instantly snapped. Punching his child to the floor and heaving angrily, she immediately curled up in a ball sobbing. Madara stood outside of Izuna's apartment with saddened eyes. Izuna would find the answers she seeked as to why her mother fled within the shadows... no matter how painful those answers might be. Every time he heard his daughter get hit, he would slightly flinch and grit his teeth.
The moment he snapped out of this, his head snapped to the side and switched to sensory mode. She was still alive, but unconscious. Hearing more slams come to his daughters body, tears began to slide down his cheeks and immediately witnessed a flurry of long pastel pink locks flutter by before opening the door and closing it behind her. Peering at the Uchiha male, she slowly walked up to him with a lowered head and a heart full of pain. Getting on the tips of her toes, the pinkette regrettably pressed her lips to his and snapped him out of it.
Pulling away, she then lost any will and her eyes dulled immensely, "I-If she wishes for it... then both of us will move back in with you. You have to give her the option though, Izuna..." her voice sounded so lifeless and dead as she walked to her daughter and pulled her right hand glove off before pressing it to her daughter's heart. The daughter of the two instantly rolled to the side and coughed harshly only to notice... her mother no longer had an inner voice.
Madara sat there silently as Sakura and Izuna packed their belongings to move back in with his younger brother. This really was getting confusing as fuck with the two having identical names, so the pinkette dully tapped on her daughter's door. Looking towards her mother with feigned misery, she gave a gentle reply, "Yes ma'am...?" Walking towards her daughter and kneeling down, she gave a monotone reply, "I'm going to start calling you by your middle name... all right..." She didn't hate her middle name, she just found it weird in all honesty. However, she nodded and the pink haired mother then took the locket Madara had gifted her daughter and clasped it around her neck.
"Sarada... from now on, you are not permitted to take this off... understand...?" The newly named Sarada then nodded and stood up with all of her storage scrolls within her grasps. In all honesty, she had only agreed to move in with her biological father because she wanted him to teach her how to be ruthless and merciless. In other words... she wanted to become a teenaged mini-Sakura.
The pinkette then took all of her daughter's storage scrolls and the, now, teenager bowed to her once upon a time father, "Thank you, Uncle Madara, for allowing us to live here. We have taken advantage of your kindness for long enough. Please, do take care." Sakura then dully turned her head towards her daughter, "Sarada... let's be off and let your uncle live in peace..." There was one issue still. Madara and Sakura were still married.
Sakura and Sarada then brought all of their belongings into Izuna's home as he smirked, "Izuna, welcome home." Sarada then bowed gently, "Forgive me, dad, but my name is now my middle name to not get us confused. Mom made the order, so I am merely following directions. Sakura refused to go to the Uchiha male's room and stood petrified within the living room. Narrowing his onyx orbs, Izuna then pointed to his room, "You know as to where to place everything within my room. Now GO." Flinching slightly as tears filled her two different colored orbs, all she could seem to do was nod.
It had now been an entire year and Sakura was NEVER without fresh, yet deep, bruises showering her body. Walking into Minato's office with the dullest orbs he had ever witnessed on his daughter, along with deep and dark bruises, he gave a heavy sigh, "Again...? Sakura, you are MARRIED to Madara! You should be living with him!"
Sakura merely glanced at the ground, "I know, dad..." Tapping his pen against his desk lightly to not scare the precious pinkette, Minato gave a soft hum before gaining an 'OH' face. Handing a jewelry box to his daughter, she blandly looked at it, "Might I ask what this is for...?" Minato nodded with a smile, "While going through a bunch of their parents belongings, we found this and it had a note inside that was rather troubling. It was said that Izuna basically could not live without it." He explained with an even tone.
Nodding her head, Minato smiled sadly, "Madara asks about you frequently. I always tell him how you appear in my eyes. Ah, by the way, the note that was left with the music box said 'Never allow this music box to be away from Izuna. Without it, he snaps and goes berserk. So, please keep it near him at all times WITH the music PLAYING.' so, please do as instructed." Sakura merely nodded, looking as if she were lost as of now. Minato then frowned deeply, "Sakura, honey, go back to Madara."
All the bruised and battered female could do was gently shake her head, "I will be fine, Lord Fourth..." With that said, she took the music box and something inside of her gained a glimmer of hope and a soft ray of sunshine. Walking back home, the pinkette opened the box to hear the same melody that played within her daughter's music box locket and tears slightly filled her eyes as she stood frozen amongst a sea of people that peered inside of the music box within her grasp to notice four locks of hair neatly up inside.
Finally finding the courage to move again, Sakura made her way all the way back to the apartment building and opened the door with the music box still playing. Izuna walked out of his room with a surprised facial expression, "Hey babe, where did you even get that?" Izuna had thought that the music box had been lost within the raging fire that had burned their home to the ground and claimed the life of both of his parents.
Shock crossed her face and she felt frozen by his sweet and gentle tone. Normally, the moment she got home... Izuna would beat the hell out of her for no god given reason. The soothing, yet saddened, melody continued to jingle out in repeat as tears spilled down her cheeks. Rushing towards her with a towel wrapped around his shoulders, Izuna surprisingly took hold of her shoulders gently, "What's wrong!?" He had a split personality of light and shadow... the light within him was merely kept intact by a damned music box. It was almost as if the light within him was clinging to the inanimate object desperately.
Looking back at all of their missions... she now remembered asking Izuna about his music box and why he always brought it along with him, but he would only heavily blush as if he were entirely embarrassed over the fact that she had witnessed it in the first place. She remembered finding this odd, but she did not question him further and only winked playfully before adding in "Make sure you don't let it get damaged if it is that important to you!"
::Flashback::
Team Shisui had stopped for the night and placed everything down. Sakura turned her head to Izuna once she witnessed a music box being taken out of his bag the moment he sat down, only for him to frown lightly and run his hand across the top of it as he whispered softly, "Lilium..." Flicking her emerald orbs over to Izuna the moment he spoke, Sakura smiled, "Hey Izuna? How come you always bring that on every mission we go on?"
Turning bright red, he tried to think of a good excuse, but found none that she would actually fall for, "W-Well... I-I..." Shisui knew far too well as to why he brought the music box with him on each and every mission and almost felt bad for the young Uchiha, 'He doesn't want to go berserk... so he continues to carry that music box along with him wherever he goes...'
Standing and walking towards the long haired raven, the pinkette playfully flipped his long ponytail over his face - completely unaware of how angered he was becoming, "Izuna, this is so pretty!" Sakura chirped out and opened the box, only for his shoulders to relax as the melody began to play, "T-Thank you..." Madara then grouched out, "You are kidding me, right Izuna? You brought Lilium on our mission?" Sakura shot the moody male a glare, "Seriously Madara!? Do you ALWAYS have to be such a jerk!? I happen to think that this melody is beautiful!"
Blowing his long ponytail away from his face, Izuna gave a gentle smile, "Thanks Sakura. I'm glad that you like it. If you like it so much, then you can have it." The pinkette then watched as Madara shot his hand out towards his brother with a panicked facial expression as he yelled, "NO!" This had puzzled Sakura so much, but ignored the initial outburst to begin with.
Picking the music box up, her smile then became slightly saddened, "So it's name is Lilium? The song... it's kind of sad, but it's also very pretty at the same time..." Madara and Izuna alike both watched as Sakura's emerald orbs filled with tears over such a sad song playing, yet placed it down and pulled out a kunai to cut a few inches within a small section of her hair off and used a small ribbon to tie it together in the middle before placing it inside of the music box that continued to play its miserable song within loops.
Izuna looked up, entirely confused at the notion, "Sakura, why did you cut your hair off?" The pinkette then stared into the darkened forest with her hands laced behind her back as she whispered within the form of a slight quiver, "S-So you never forget me..." Tilting his head slightly, Sakura laughed gently and walked forward, only to place a finger beneath the long haired raven's chin and press her lips tenderly to his forehead. Soon to follow, she walked to Madara and repeated the same action, yet cut off a small portion of his growing hair to place it inside of the music box as well once it had been secured by another small ribbon.
She didn't give Shisui a kiss, but she did take a THICK portion of his hair to place it within Izuna's music box. Everyone was now giggling due to the fact that Shisui now adorned a major bald spot thanks to Sakura... which he figured out the next day. The last to have a small portion of their hair cut off was Izuna, which she neatly tied up and placed it in the music box.
Izuna was all but confused now and Sakura then smiled as she spoke in the most beautiful tone he had ever heard, "Well, we are Team Shisui, right? So... we need to stick together forever... even if we aren't together, we will still be close together. Right?" Izuna then looked inside of the music box and smiled gently before nodding, "Right! We ARE Team Shisui! We will ALWAYS be together!" She had no idea what she had just done, but the notion of them being together forever was almost like a silent, but deadly, curse.
::End Of Flashback::
Coming out of her daze, Izuna smiled brightly, "Ah! There you are! You okay?" Sakura still felt frozen... for one year straight she had the ever living shit beaten out of her even if she had merely gone out grocery shopping to procure ingredients for that nights dinner. She had no clue that he had been battling a split personality for this long. Finally, she gulped harshly and whispered out, "Why didn't you tell me that you had a split personality!?"
Izuna appeared shocked that she had figured this out and rubbed the back of his loose locks lightly as he gave a reply, "Well, it's not something that is easily brought up. I mean how does one just bring up "Oh hey, by the way, I have a split personality" to the person they are with?" She had to admit, that the topic did seem like a double edged sword. It was a psychological disorder that came with the rather LARGE risk of losing the person you were currently with. The thing that pissed her off the most though... was the fact that IF he had told her... she could have made medication for him that would have completely balanced him out.
Right at that moment, Sarada's teacher appeared behind the door and knocked frantically. Snapping around, Sakura answered the door and Iruka frantically yelled out, "SAKURA, IZU-I MEAN-SARADA IS BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF BORUTO!" Sakura's eyes widened at the fact that Iruka of all people had just sworn for all to hear.
Vanishing, Sakura appeared within the classroom, only to witness horror. There was her daughter... repeating her father's foolish actions. Grabbing her child's fists, Sakura's deadly tone rang out, "Izuna... stop before I have to force you to stop..." Right at that moment, Izuna froze and slowly turned around to see one hell of a darkened expression on her mother's face and Iruka reappeared - only for the pinkette to speak, "Iruka, open up her locket..." Nodding his head, he tugged at the chain for the heart shaped music box locket to appear and popped it open for the melody to begin playing.
Sakura watched her daughter carefully and witnessed her shoulders slump slightly, 'Just as I thought... Izuna has a split personality as well...' Flicking her two different colored orbs towards Iruka, the pinkette huffed, "I will be back with medication for my daughter. Keep her restrained until after I administrate her medication to her." This only made Iruka nervously nod as he tied the young girl up.
Vanishing and reappearing within the hospital, the pinkette began to grasp at her head as if she were dizzy as she walked forward. This had never happened to her before her before, so she didn't understand what was happening in the slightest. Once she made the medication for TWO people instead of just one, she vanished again and reappeared within the classroom... only to look puzzled. Izuna was no longer there and there was no longer a class full of children with paranoid and petrified faces of horror. Looking down at her hand, she then realized the medication she had been holding was now a simple piece of paper with a short list of names on it.
Blinking harshly, new memories flooded into her mind to replace the old ones. Taking a deep breath and smiling brightly, the pinkette then called out, "Shisui Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha, and Izumi Uchiha. You three will make Team Seven... or if you wish, Team Sakura. Please follow me."
Madara roughly blinked and rubbed the top of his head as if something odd had definitely just had happened. Feeling his hair within a high ponytail, he tilted his onyx orbs upward as if he could actually see his appearance as of now and his face slightly twisted in confusion. He had been on a mission one moment and now here he was... walking through the school with a list of names within his hand.
New found memories began to flood within his mind to let him know what his life was now like and just how he should be acting within this realm as his old memories were completely overwritten by the new ones, exactly like they were memories that had never perished in the first place. It was apparent that the satanic woman, Kaguya, had found a way to alter reality without dragging them into her realm. Oh well, there was absolutely no point in fretting over something that he had no control over to begin with.
Walking into the room an hour late, Madara INSTANTLY became pissed off considering an eraser for the chalkboard fell onto his head, but instantly witnessed Sakura gathering her team and sending a scowl his way once they began to leave before pausing in front of him to brush the top of his head off. Blowing his bangs to the side, he then held his list of names up, "Naruto Namikaze, Sasuke Uchiha, and Hana Haruna. I shall be the team leader for team eight, or team Madara. Please, if you would follow me." All students stood and began to follow the two team leaders.
Sakura and Madara now stood on training grounds three side by side and the pinkette spoke out, "All right, first I want to hear all of your full names. Then you guys can tell me what your likes, dislikes, and hopes or dreams for the future." All Uchiha's instantly gave the pinkette a rather dry expression and Shisui groaned, "Really, big sis?"
Narrowing both of her, now emerald orbs, at Shisui - Sakura then smirked, "All right, you get to go first considering you would like to complain and NOT call me sensei." Sweat dropping, the young man stood, "Yo! The name's Shisui Uchiha. I like getting super fast, I dislike conflict, and my hopes or dreams for the future... are to live in a time that is completely peaceful." Nodding her head, Sakura smiled gently at the young man as he sat down. Being a part of the prestigious Uchiha clan, she knew Shisui all too well and adored him... considering he WAS her younger brother.
Glancing at her team filled to the brim with Uchiha's, she instantly knew their strengths and weaknesses. Shisui was and agility based shinobi, Itachi was an illelegence and jutsu based shinobi, and Izumi was a medic and strength based shinobi. She had a PERFECTLY balanced team and knew that not only was their teamwork flawless, but knew that each and everyone would cover for another once they became vulnerable.
Madara was a tad jealous that he had not been given a FULL Uchiha based team as well, but he managed to motion his hand to Itachi's twin brother, Sasuke, "My name is Sasuke Uchiha, I HATE a lot of things and don't particularly like anything. My dream isn't a dream at all because I will make it a reality... one day, I will become the Hokage to show that us Uchiha are the strongest clan within the village."
The remaining two on each side then made their claims and the two standing jonin leaders were completely satisfied. The pinkette hated being so close to Madara, but Lord Fourth had made it COMPLETELY clear to the two that their teams would be working closely together. They had an idea as to why their teams had joined too. His son, Naruto, the spoiled child to the Hokage... was to be closely guarded. This made things completely unfair to the other five on both teams because their role was to protect this completely SPOILED child no matter the cost.
The next day, Madara had to run the test that the pinkette and himself had to go through... plus his deceased brother. All three had then entered into the ANBU, but only two left alive. Once Izuna had perished while on a mission, the other two were given a leave of absence from the elite forces before being made jonin leaders. However, neither had passed a single genin until now. They supposed it was because of the elite Uchiha's that were placed as the squad leaders.
Madara rolled out of bad with a miserable appearing face and instantly ran to the bathroom the purge and all contents that were held within his stomach due to the night terror he had, had. From the moment Izuna had perished, Sakura had refused to speak to the moody male and blamed the younger of the siblings' death on the elder of the two. Madara walked towards the training grounds and noticed the pink haired former ANBU agent pass by him; making him freeze, look back, and heavily frown towards her. He had loved her ever since they were very small children, but could not seem to earn her love in return.
After a few hours, his team passed and ended up in the Hokage's Tower a few hours later, only to be debriefed on their mission. The three man team then made it to the front gate, only to see Sakura and her squad of Uchiha's as she tapped her finger against her forearm impatiently.
She knew Madara's chakra ANYWHERE, causing her emerald orbs to shoot open and swiftly punch him in the face with all of the fury held within this world. Yelling now, the gate guards chuckled softly, "WHAT IN THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!? WE WERE GIVEN A SPECIFIC TIME AND DATE TO ARRIVE!" - "OH, SHUT UP! YOU PINK HAIRED FREAK!" - "CARE TO PASS THAT BY ME AGAIN!? NEVERMIND, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU! CHA!" A rather large slam was then heard that rumbled and shattered the ground beneath Madara's bulky body.
Naruto then hid behind Sasuke, looking nervous as FUCK and stuttering out, "S-Sakura-sensei is TERRIFYING, YA KNOW!?" All Uchiha genin knew fully well to keep their damn mouths SHUT, but nodded slightly. All of the Uchiha's then sighed heavily as they all looked towards the pinkette and abruptly began to shake their heads while keeping their thoughts to themselves, 'Geez, you think they were married couple with how they bicker!' However... one person actually thought this without keeping it to themselves.
Snapping towards the Fourth Hokage's son, the pinkette tightly grasped her fists tightly, "CARE TO PASS THAT BY ME AGAIN!? I COULDN'T GIVE A DAMN IF YOU WERE GOD'S SON, I WILL STILL CUT YOU DOWN!" Madara then pushed himself out of the crater and held his bleeding side as he limped in front of Naruto while holding his arms up... making the pinkette's emerald orbs go completely out of focus considering that was the same exact way Izuna had been cut down.
"STOP IT, SAKURA! THAT IS ENOUGH! DO YOU HONESTLY WANT TO BE THE ONE WHO CUT DOWN THE FOURTH HOKAGE'S SON AND BRANDED AS A TRAITOR!?" Madara yelled viciously until noticing her trembling hands and the tears sliding down her porcelain skin. Frowning now, the not so moody male then took a single one of the pinkette's hands, "Sakura... you you need to stop blaming yourself. Yes... because I am one to talk..." Peering down at the ground, tears slightly filled his orbs and snapping Sakura out of it. Just as she brought up a hand to slap him, all movements froze the moment she witnessed a single tear escaping from his onyx orbs.
Lightly patting his face wasn't working, causing her to sigh heavily. She knew far too well as to how hard headed this man was... so did the only thing possible at the given time. Sakura slowly brought Madara into her arms, looking not too happy at having to HOLD this man close to her heart... making him bring his arms up to clasp the back of her cloak within his gloved grasps tightly to cry.
His voice was soft so that NONE of the genin would hear the words of weakness he now projected to the pink haired kunoichi, "S-Sakura... S-Stay with me tonight... P-Please..." Internally giving off a dreaded sigh, Sakura nodded gently and whispered back equally as quiet, "All right..." Madara then peered up, "No burning my house to the ground this time... okay?" Rolling her eyes, the pinkette then smirked, "I'll consider it. It all depends on how I feel in the morning, so I might or might not burn it to the ground."
