"So how did it go?" I asked Blaise as we sat in the library together.

"I'd rather not talk about" he sadly said.

"Was it that bad?" I asked.

Slowly, he nodded his head somberly.

"I'm sorry" I apologized. "It's my fault, if I hadn't pushed you then none of this would have ever happened."

"No it's not, I'm glad you pushed me into tell her. It's just that I had my hopes up" he sighed.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked softly.

He nodded his head slowly. "But not here."

"Come on" I said pulling him up from his seat. "I have just the place."

I took him to my 'office' in the Room of Requirement where we sat on the couch. It wasn't a client to therapist. It was more of a friend to a friend.

"So you want to talk?"

"I don't really know where to start" Blaise said.

"Start from the beginning."

"Okay" he nodded.

"Well I sent her an owl saying I wanted to meet with her for tea yesterday" he started. "And she asked why and I said that I had something important to say to her."

Out of instinct I grabbed my clipboard and started jotting down notes. Blaise shifted uncomfortably in his seat, watching me write things down.

"Can you not do that" he pointed to the clipboard.

"Okay" I put the clipboard down on the table faced down so he couldn't see what I wrote.

"So when I went to meet her at the manor we were having tea and chatting about regular things. She asked me what I wanted to talk about and then I told her. I almost didn't go through with it, but I wanted to, so I did."

"And how did she react?" I asked even though I knew most likely that the reaction was not a good one.

"She kind of flipped out."

"Was it bad?"

"Terrible."

"Oh no."

"Well she started yelling at me and cursing, saying it wasn't proper. She tried to hex me. She said it was to 'take away the gay' . Her wand was pointed directly at me. So she tried to curse me, hex me, but I disarmed her before she could do something else."

"What was she going to do?"

"She tried to torture the gay out. Like she was about to use the Cruciatus Curse" Blaise shivered at the memory.

"Oh my god that's horrible" I gasped. I definitely was not expecting that. "Are you okay? Did you get out safely?"

"I'm fine. I left after she tried that and I took her wand with me so she couldn't try to follow me" he explained. "She said if I left that she would disown me. I'm not going to lie I thought about it for a minute, but then I ultimately decided that I didn't want to live with someone that didn't except me for who I am."

"That's amazing, I mean not the cursing part, but yes Blaise! You stand up to your mother! Woo hoo!!" I jumped up congratulating him and pulling him into a tight hug.

"I just don't know what to do. I mean she collected a fortune off of all her dead husbands and I don't have anything anymore. I don't have anywhere to go" he said worried.

"Well for one I think you should report your mother. I mean she did try to torture you. Shouldn't she go to Azkaban for it?"

"But she's my mum, I don't think I could do that to her."

"She did try to torture you and she won't even accept you for who you are. Why would you want to protect that?"

"She is my mum. Would you want your mum to go to Azkaban?"

"Of course not, but my mum loves me for who I am. Yours does not and on top of that hexed you multiple times to 'take away the gay' like it was some disease that could be cured" I shook my head. "And on top of that she tried to use an Unforgivable curse on her own son."

"When you put it like that..."

"You know I'm right."

"I do."

"So what does this mean for you? I mean like where would you go?"

"Well I am living in Hogwarts so I'm going to stay here until I graduate and hopefully find someplace to live."

"Do you have any money?" I asked.

"Well... no, but I'll figure everything out."

"Just know that if you need a place to stay, you can stay with me always" I enveloped him in a tight, bone crushing. He hugged me back with equal passion. "Your welcome in my home anytime."

"Ok" he quietly whispered.

"If you ever need to talk you come to me, okay?"

"I got it" he nodded. "We should have been friends sooner."

"They were so getting cozy in astronomy" said Athena as she was walking with Ginny.

"Really?" asked Ginny in disbelief.

"Yeah definitely. They were looking at each other, it was so cute honestly" Athena gushed.

"Stage one of the plan is working" Ginny high fived Athena.

"Honestly, it was so smart for me to ask Sinistra to switch partners. Your a genius Ginny."

"We already knew that" Ginny smirked.

Athena rolled her eyes and cracked a smile as both girls arms were linked, walking down the hall.

"Has she confirmed to you that she fancies him?" asked Ginny.

"No, but sometimes I do catch her playing with the snitch he gave her or just holding it. She looks deep in thought when she does this, but she's always smiling."

"Are we sure that Malfoy's the best possible option for her?"

"Definitely."

"I just want to make sure, you know after him..." Athena trailed off not wanting to say the name. It would cause mixed feelings to immerse, mostly sad feelings and she didn't want that.

"Yeah I know."

"Come on she's waiting for us."

Ginny and Athena skipped down to the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall for lunch. They were sitting at the Gryffindor table since the five of them switched back and forth with the Ravenclaw table and the Gryffindor table.

I waved them both over at the Gryffindor table where Luna and Neville were sitting across from me. I was seated next to Seamus Finnigan who was making suggestive eyebrows to me which was weirding me out definitely, but was funny to see Dean who was making fun of Seamus.

Athena greeted Luna with a kiss on the lips which Dean and Seamus started to howl and clap.

Boys.

Athena started to blush because of all the attention she was receiving while Luna was her usual cool and serene self.

Half way through lunch, Ginny who had an appetite was cutting up a chicken breast Athena nudged me in the shoulder which caused my attention to go from my food to her. Neville was rambling on about Herbology to Luna while Luna was talking about Care of Magical Creatures or more specifically thestrals.

"What" I asked Athena irritated.

"He's staring at you."

"Who's he?"

"Malfoy duh."

"Really?" I said with a little too much excitement that Athena caught.

I peered over to the Slytherin table and caught those grey eyes staring right back at me as if they were piercing into my soul. Not in a bad way though.

A way that sent butterflies throughout my entire body and made my knees go weak.

He gave me a cheeky wink which I quickly avoided his gaze so he couldn't see how much he affected me. He was unbearable, annoyingly unbearable.

He kept on pursuing me and would never stop. He made me feel things that only one person had ever made me feel.

That person was dead now...

I didn't want to feel things for Malfoy. I didn't feel things for Malfoy. It was just his flirtatious manner that affected me. It would affect anyone if he was being a right cheeky git.

It most likely didn't mean anything to Malfoy anyways. Just a way to coax me into bed with him and then he would leave me like he did everyone else. It was his reputation. How could I not think that? He was known for it.

"He's still staring" said Athena in a sing songy voice.

"Shut up" I grunted, my gaze down to my food so I wouldn't look at him. I knew if I did I would start blushing immensely and I didn't want to give him the satisfaction.

Isn't the best part the chase?

He had not stopped staring at her the entirety of lunch. Pansy had been nagging him and trying to get his attention while other girls tried to flirt with him and whisper dirty nothings into his ear.

He shooed all of them off and pushed Pansy off of his arm that she was clinging onto so desperately. Pansy apparently knew where he was staring and where is gaze was set because she stormed out of the Great Hall.

Draco didn't care though. He watched her as she ate her food and laughed with all her friends. Her laugh was infectious and her smile was beautiful.

When Seamus Finnigan had decided to put his arm around her he almost lost it. Seamus's arm was sitting on her shoulders almost the entire time of lunch and he hated it.

Was it jealousy?

Maybe

He definitely didn't like the sight of her with another guy. Even Longbottom irked him even though he knew that it would never happen between her and Longbottom. Blaise had a thing for Longbottom, Draco could tell so he knew that his Adeleine would never.

But the thing was...

She wasn't his

If your looking at the Gryffindor table it looked as if she was Seamus Finnigan's.

She would never stoop as low as Finnigan right?

He was the much better choice. Clearly.

But then again, he hadn't even apologized for being an arsehole that time she yelled at him. Honestly the fact that he yelled at him and left him in such a shocked state made him more intrigued by her.

This just proved that she was so much more different than all the other girls, that were single at least.

When she was yelling at him, pointing her fingers, her face all angry and getting redder was it bad to say that he was a bit turned on?

It was hot, what could he say.

Though he knew he had to apologize for his actions and to assure her that she wasn't some conquest.

Well she wasn't, right?

He didn't even know himself.

At first the girl intrigued him and only fed into his curiosity of her. But now he didn't even know her enough to say he fancied her.

Did he fancy her?

If he didn't what was the point of pursuing her in order to break her heart? That wasn't something he wanted to do. He didn't want to break her heart, she was to pure for that. It would hurt him as well.

When he saw Finnigan flirting with her and whispering things in her ear that made her laugh, his jaw clenched unknowingly to him. His fists tightened until they were white. He drew blood from his nails piercing into his skin. His blood boiled making his light skin tone go to a pink or red.

That's how he realized

He did fancy her

He fancied Adeleine Wood
