Artemis PoV

I pushed him into the bed, crawling atop him. No, we didn't do anything naughty. I kissed his cheek, and rolled off of him, burrowing into his side as I fell asleep.

The next morning, when I woke up, I was alone. Percy had left. I felt tears beginning to well up, but they vanished when Percy came in, with breakfast. Setting the breakfast on the nightstand, he climbed into the bed next to me. "Sorry. I wanted to wake you up with breakfast in bed, but then, you woke up before I was finished." I nodded and he kissed me on the forehead. Grabbing the tray, he picked up a bowl of cereal and started eating it. He offered me some, and when I said, sure, instead of handing me the bowl, he spoon fed me.

A bit of milk dribbled down my chin, and Percy licked it off. I blushed, and Percy chuckled. When we had finished breakfast, Percy sent them away. I sat on his lap, enjoying his warmth when I heard, "Mind sharing your hunting spoils, son?"

Percy turned to face the intruder, "I am not your son, Poseidon, and women are to be treated with as much respect as men, if not more. Do not speak of them in such a degrading way!" Percy growled at him, and shot a tornado of elements at the sea god. Poseidon got hit in the chest, and flashed away before anything else could happen. Percy held me close to him.

Needless to say, I didn't mind. Less than two minutes later, Poseidon, who had a smug look on his face, and the rest of the Olympian Council, flashed into my bedroom. I yelped in surprise. Poseidon must have warned the Council that I had broken my oath or something. Percy held my hand, squeezing it.
