AN: FORZA JUVE!!

Time: A few weeks later

Connor and Travis Stoll ran as fast as their legs would carry them, towards the Big House, stumbling over each other in an attempt to run faster. Every Camper turned and stared at the two as they passed by, wondering what could've got the two pranksters so hyped.

The twin sons of Hermes looked identical, with sandy blonde hair, brown eyes, and a crooked grin. They were each five foot six tall, and were a bit on the skinnier side. The only mark distinguishing the two was a small star-shaped scar on the left side of Connor's face.

"Chiron! Chiron!" The two shouted.

The Centaur, who was playing pinochle with Dionysus, Percy and Thalia, looked up. Artemis was sitting on a couch to the side, sharpening her daggers without a worry in the world.

He rubbed his face tiredly, while Percy cracked a grin. "What did you two do now?"

"Yesterday, night, we were out scouting on Long Island." Connor started, breaking off to pant. Travis picked up where he left, "On the other side, a huge black-walled fortress, teeming with monsters..."

"HAS COME UP OVERNIGHT!" The two shouted together.

"What?" Chiron stood up, followed by Thalia. Even Artemis looked up, putting her daggers away. Percy let his hand fall to the table, murmuring, "I was going to win."

"They are marching towards Camp now."

Chiron opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by Percy, who stood up. "Call the Campers. Tell them to prepare for battle. Meet Chiron up here at the Big House with the Cabin Councillors in a few minutes. In the next thirty minutes, all Campers should be assembled at the Amphitheatre. Now RUN!"

The God turned to Chiron. "It seems Unicron has started on the offence. Chiron, ready the Campers. Artemis and Thalia, I want you to lead the archers. You do the planning with the Cabin Councillors, I will contact Mt. Iacon once."

He disappeared inside the Big House, just in time for the Cabin Councillors to arrive.

"Soundwave, open up!" Percy said quickly in hushed tones, sneaking a glance outside. The Campers were discussing strategies outside.

A blue screen shimmered into existence, and Percy was met by the familiar visor of his nephew. "What is the status there?" Percy asked hurriedly.

"Shockwave claims that a large black fortress has arisen twenty miles out in the desert. Later in the day, I confirmed his statement from the watchtower. Laserbeak tried to get close, but there was a force field thwarting his attempts to advance. Shockwave suspects that it is a base for Unicron. Requesting permission to set a ground team to scout out the fortress." Came the reply, in Soundwave's strange metallic voice.

"Tell Team 1 to take a few Hunters and scouts to go. Soundwave, you stay back, and activate the automatic defences for Mt. Iacon. Retrieve all the energon resources that you need from the reserves in Mt. Kaon. I want the ground team out and about right after dark. Disconnecting." Percy swiped his hand, ending the connection, not waiting for his answer. He knew his orders would be carried out.

He walked out to the porch. Everyone was gone. Instead, they were in position on the fields behind Thalia's Pine. Thalia was atop the pine tree, with Artemis in another, and several Apollo Campers with them, scattered through the trees, well hidden by the thick foliage.

The Campers formed rows of not-so-well-trained soldiers, with spears, swords, axes, war hammers, daggers, all sorts of weapons. Chiron in his horse form trotted in front of them, shouting instructions. Peleus curled around the pine atop which Thalia was perched, fiercely carrying out his duty of protecting the golden fleece. Steam curled from his nostrils, and he snorted and fretted, pawing the ground, and letting off sudden small bursts of flame.

Dionysus was nowhere to be seen.

The first line of monsters could be seen approaching over the crest of the low hill. They were but a wall of black and silver, with slithering empousai, snarling hellhounds, and grunting cyclopes. Artemis caught his eye, and Percy signalled that he would not fight. She scowled, but nodded nonetheless. The Campers would be able to handle it. His particular skill set was needed somewhere else.

A conch horn blew from somewhere, commencing the battle.

Almost simultaneously, rows of silver and golden arrows rained down from the trees, turning the sky black, and taking out large hordes of monsters.

But they were endless.

Slowly, but surely, even against the mighty onslaught of arrows, the monster army proceeded forward, leaving a thick golden trail behind them. Several monsters fell from the arrows, no less from the flames breathed by the Peleus, while some were trampled under their fellow footsoldiers.

There was a suppressed excitement, a ripple of anticipation, that passed through the Campers. They held their spears a bit higher, hefted their hammers, raised their swords, and checked their armour for the last time.

Then with a single shout from Chiron, all hell broke loose. The Campers rushed toward the enemy lines, the front lines breaking formation almost as soon as they came in contact with the first monster.

Heads were rolled, bodies dismembered, and limbs ripped apart. It was truly a bloody day.

At least for the monsters.

The Campers had only two casualties, a son of Hephaestus, who had failed against the Minotaur, and was run over, and a son of Aphrodite, who had had a heart attack when he saw his designer clothes were spoilt. Seriously, whoever wears expensive designer clothes to a battle?

The battle over, and the Campers victorious, Artemis and Thalia headed back to the God of Unknown Domains. He ignored them at first, instead looking over at the injured Campers, who were in stretchers being taken to the infirmary, and the few crying over the two dead.

When his two lovers had almost reached him, Percy congratulated Artemis and Thalia, hugging them tightly. Not that they were in any danger, of course. The two never needed to come down. Artemis had the most kill count, simply from her arrows, and the bursts of moon energy, courtesy of the full moon that was high on the night sky. However, Thalia was not far behind, as she too, brought down bolts of lightning to cause explosive damage among the enemy lines.

"Now, where is my reward?" Artemis purred sultrily, tracing her finger along Percy's neck and ear. "Yeah, we need some way to relax after this battle." Thalia agreed, wrapping her arms around Percy's broad chest, and feeling up his muscular arms.

"I should be checking up on Mt. Iacon. I sent them on a dangerous scouting mission." Percy mentally kicked himself at the self cockblock he performed.

"Oh come on! I am sure they can handle themselves if we are away for a few hours more! What's the harm?!" Artemis whined, giving him big innocent doe eyes. Thalia agreed, hugging him from behind, and rubbing her round firm breasts against his back teasingly.

Percy gulped, feeling a raging erection bringing him immense discomfort under the tight trousers, and sighed.

"Well, I don't suppose I should do this, but... who cares. You two, to my Cabin, two different rooms." Artemis pouted, she really loved having threesomes now.

Meanwhile, at Mt. Iacon

Soundwave was going over the instructions for one last time. They were to go to the fortress, confirm if there was any Unicron spawn, and come back. They had been specifically instructed not to engage unless absolutely necessary.

(AN: A Unicron spawn is a copy Unicron makes of himself to serve as soldiers.)

Soundwave, Shockwave, and Bombshell would stay back at Iacon to set up defences, Emperor Deathsaurus had been killed off earlier. So, they wouldn't be on the mission.

Overall, the scouting team consisted of Drift, Hound, Ironhide, Barricade and Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and a few Hunters, like Phoebe, Atlanta, and Lucy.

Together, the small group stood right outside the main entrance, the Transformers in their vehicle forms, for speed.

Soundwave gave them a last salute, before he disappeared into the mountain.

And they were off. Drift, Barricade, Cliffjumper and Bumblebee raced forward because of their state of the art sports car vehicle modes, while Ironhide and Hound struggled to catch up. The Hunters were laughing, communicating with each other over radio, which every Transformer seemed to have.

They zoomed past the dry desert, leaving behind the twin mountains of Iacon and Kaon. They were the only large structure in the plain flat land, which was otherwise almost uninhabited. The road they took passed them through a small town which reminded them of the old cowboy movies, with an open bar, small houses and shops lining the road. The town was so small that the little convoy was sure to make the headline the next day.

The twenty miles passed in twenty minutes, though they had taken the longer path to stay out of sight. When they had set out, the sun was already setting, painting the sky in rich hues of blood red and fiery orange, but now, a deep black night sky covered the palette that was the sky, with stars dotting it like a spray of white paint from the brush of Chaos.

It was a full moon night, but the moon his behind the clouds in the otherwise clear sky, making it seem like a new moon night. "All the better for us." Hound had said.

The Transformers had shifted back to their robot forms a few miles away to keep silent, and they had traversed the remaining distance in foot, the enormous strides of the Transformers rendering it light work.

They crouched behind the walls to keep hidden, the pitch-black walls of the fortress sucking in all light, keeping the enormous frames of the crouching Transformers away from the sight of any lookout, and sparing no light to reflect off their metal chassis.

"Ironhide, Hound and Drift, keep watch, Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, circle the walls to get different points of view. Hunters, stay with the ground team." Barricade whispered. He was the boss when it came to scouting missions like this.

Phoebe was indignant to stay behind, to say the least.

The three scouts scaled the walls without any trouble, like ants in front of the looming fortress; sending up small cameras to spy inside. "Primus, this place is teeming with Unicron spawns!" Cliffjumper whispered over the radio.

They continued watching over the walls for a few minutes before Barricade shouted urgently over the radio. "Bee has been spotted! Drift, take the Hunters and escape immediately. The three of us will follow you. Hound and Ironhide, cover our backs, but remember to retreat quickly. Don't try to be a hero!" All this was shouted when Barricade was jumping down the wall, swinging from ledge to ledge like an acrobat.

Within the next minute, four sports cars were racing back up the track to the main entrance of their base, followed quite closely by the other two. Hound and Ironhide had managed to blow up quite a large portion of the army, but still, innumerable Unicron spawns remained, chasing them. Ironhide had run out of ammo, and without his explosive firepower to back him up, Hound could not risk staying back.

Cliffjumper raced forward, swinging from one lane to another, taking the fastest route towards Mt. Iacon.

He had just turned the last corner, when,... BOOM!! An explosion shook the earth, illuminating the desert for miles, and raising an enormous cloud of dust up in the air. Nobody needed to look twice to know Cliffjumper was dead- he had been the one to trigger a trap, and had been blown to smithereens in the process.

Barricade, who was right behind, slammed his brakes, coming to a stop in under a second.

"The road is rigged! Head for the secret entrance!" He shouted over the radio, coming to a stop when Cliffjumper's dismembered head hit his windshield. It was scorched black, none of the original red paint job visible. His eyes still glowed blue, showing that he was still alive.

Barricade reversed hard, knocking his fellow Transformer's head off his hood in the process. The head fell to the ground with a metallic clink, the eyes finally flickering off as it rolled across the dirt, to show that Cliffjumper had finally gone to the fields of Elysium.

He may have shed more than a tear when he felt Cliffjumper's remains crunch under his tires.

The Transformers drove as fast as they could, hoping to reach the last intersection before the monster army. It was the road they had to take to get to the secret entrance.

They did reach the last intersection...just a few seconds before the monster army.

"Shit! This will not do! I will hold them back! Go! Keep Atlanta safe!" Bumblebee shouted, before he transformed, his assault rifle already in his hand as he started firing into the army, hoping to keep them at bay.

"No! Drift, stop! Bumblebee's back there!" Atlanta screeched, angry tears running down her face. Phoebe clutched her tightly in her hug, trying to comfort her.

"Sorry. There's only one thing we can do. Ensure his sacrifice does not go in vain." Drift said, his voice devoid of emotion, though everyone could tell that he was fighting hard to keep himself in check.

Meanwhile, Bumblebee had switched to his bare fists and a dagger to fight the monsters, his size giving him a slight advantage against them. Still, they were numerous, and he was slowly being overtaken.

He did not see the Cyclops sneaking over to him, turning just in time to see it swing at his head in a fatal blow. He would not be fast enough. Bee closed his eyes, opening them to see a gaping hole in the Cyclops' head.

"Fight!" Barricade's voice floated over the monsters, and Bee smiled as he stabbed another Cyclops. "You stayed behind?"

"I always had your back, brother Bee!" Barricade shouted, and Frenzy echoes him in his high pitched voice.

Bumblebee smiled. Maybe, just maybe, they could pull through.

That is, until the Unicron spawns joined the fight.

Back at Mt. Iacon, Phoebe had just realised that Barricade was not with them, rather had stayed back with Bumblebee. The two Huntresses were inconsolable. They had managed to lose the pursuing army when they had entered Iacon through the secret entrance. Soundwave had wisely sealed the front entrance, so they were safe for the time being.

The two Hunters had waited for two hours, waiting for their boyfriends, before Soundwave had told them that they were dead, and he could not trace their signal anymore. They had broken down almost immediately, and were still bawling their eyes out, even after a few hours. Their eyes were bloodshot and hair dishevelled, as they clutched at each other for warmth and comfort. They refused to talk with anybody, and had locked themselves up in Barricade's house. Wisely, the dejected occupants of Mt. Iacon gave up trying to comfort them, instead waiting for the arrival of the two Olympians with the Lieutenant of the Hunters.

Needless to say, Barricade and Bumblebee never came back.
