=Chapter 14: Truth and Revelation! [Part 1]=

"Hey, I really enjoyed working with you all," the leader of the Flames started, gaining the attention of his team.

The Konoha-nin were shocked at this, although a bit suspicious.

"I think we all did," Sakura said, smiling.

"Tch." Everyone looked back to see Kiba with his arms crossed and eyes rolling.

"What? Are we too strong for you?" teased Horse, ignoring Kiba's growling and angry remarks. The rest laughed at this, the air settled and tension took a rest.

A few birds called, along with a fake one which Kitsune recognised. He looked to the east as if admiring something and saw Dragon with his hood off giving a nod before disappearing. He continued walking along the path, not raising much suspicion.

Kitsune smiled. Looks like everything was going well. Everything was falling into place. Danzo would get some payback. He thought they were in his hands? He was mistaken, it was the other way round.

The joint team took a different route to Konoha as to ward off any people that may be tracking them. They made a good amount of progress before stopping halfway to Konoha. It was getting late, the sun retreating back from the night.

Kitsune offered to be the first watch once more and asked someone to join him. His old teammate volunteered at the chance, wanting some more answers.

'Could be worse.'

The two sat on a tree branch, looking over the clearing they had made for their home. The two recalled the days events, even if they didn't do much.

"I don't think those ninja were really A or S-Rank. Maybe some A-Ranked but mostly B or C," Kitsune mused out loud.

"You're right. I thought they'd put up more of a fight."

"Or we're all just strong." Sakura chuckled at this.

"Hey, could you just answer this one question? I promise I won't tell."

Kitsune sighed. He couldn't say no. They were going soon and they were making an appearance so why not? "Alright."

"What is Yang Style?"

Kitsune sighed at this. 'Out of all the things... why?' "Well, you know how there are the five nature transformations: fire, wind, lightning, earth and water? This is one of the two that reside beyond those."

"And what's the other?"

"Yin Style. The two balance each other out and are the physical and spiritual energy, you know? The stuff that makes chakra?" Kitsune flicked threw a kunai through a tree as he explained.

"Oh right."

Sakura stilled wondered: Who was Kitsune? Was this true? She really wanted to pull of that hood but who knows what they'd do to Konoha?

"Hey, what would you do if you were offered a place in Konoha?"

Kitsune looked at her like she was delusional. "We wouldn't accept. We don't trust Danzo enough and Danzo doesn't trust us. Plus, what would the other villages say?"

"Maybe after this mission Danzo would trust you all more."

"Maybe, maybe not," Kitsune commented before going back to his musings.

'Extremely bipolar aren't you?' Sakura thought before watching the darkness again. "We could ask Danzo. As long as we could all share things, it could work out." She saw Kitsune tense up at this.

He was hesitant at this. What would they do if they found who he really was? He almost wanted to accept it but it would be over for him instantly. There's no way he would last fighting against Danzo, his goonies and whatever he has in store, no matter the powerhouse he is. "Maybe... maybe... maybe..." he muttered.

"Shift over, Sakura." The medic looked to see a weary-eyed Kiba behind her and a still-sleeping Akamaru. She just nodded and walked away to her bed.

"I'll say this. Danzo is a greedy, power hungry man who will do anything to get his goals, even destroying innocent people in his way. You have to do what he says and you have to face facts as well. If we were to accept, he would control us and force us to do his biddings. That is the truth."

=Next Day=

The night passed for all of them, and the group set off early to get a head start. They leapt through the trees and back to Konoha, exchanging a bit more talk. A hawk flew over head, which Kitsune thought that Konoha used to alert that they were returning.

The gates of Konoha approached, the trees splitting and the figures of people coming into view. The joint group saw Danzo, along with his guards and some other elders of the village watching the group approach the gates. Tsunade, some random ANBU.

The group arranged themselves into order, the Konoha-nin bowing before their leader. The Flames did not budge or even show any emotion, showing no respect to Konoh. The elders grumbled at this, being shown no respect from these rogues.

"Mission completed, Hokage-sama," Shikamaru said.

Danzo nodded hearing Shikamaru's comment but had his lone eye watching Kitsune.

The Konoha group followed his stare and landed on the figure of Kitsune. The elders followed his gaze, along with the rest of the onlookers. Most were confused as why their leader was watching Kitsune, who wasn't doing anything at all.

Killer intent flooded the area, coming from Danzo. He channelled his anger, his hate, his energy directed to the hooded figures. The air hung still, the air so tense.

"Are you done staring at me?" Kitsune asked, breaking a lot of his starers out of their trances. "Whatever you're going to say, say it... now, because I'm aching to take a shower and wash myself clean of your presence Danzo." Kitsune's teammates snickered at this, before watching their opponents. Danzo became even more unstable, teeth clenched.

"I've had just enough of you," Danzo said through gritted teeth, hate prominent in his voice. "Surround them."

Out of the trees, ANBU, ROOT or not appeared around the four cloaked figures, weapons ready and poised to strike. A few more became visible in the trees, holding their fingers in hand seals. The Orange Flames moves silently around Kitsune, showing no emotion. Kitsune was unfazed by this attack, making the onlookers more confused.

"What is the meaning of thi-" Tsunade growled through her teeth at Danzo.

"Be silent Tsunade, before I put you in more debt." Danzo turned his gaze to her before looking back at the Flames.

"But what is the meaning of this, Danzo?" Kitsune asked, a mocking tone evident in his voice.

"You can't say anything here! I am the Hokage and you cannot tell me what to do! You are under arrest!" Danzo practically screamed. His face turned to smug as he thought he had the upper hand here.

A small chuckle evolved into laughter from Kitsune before wiping a tear from his eye.

Danzo growled at this, they were supposed to be frightened! Not laughing! "What are you laughing at?"

"Under arrest?" Kitsune laughed more. "P-lease, the last village that tried to do that lost, what makes you think you're any different? And also, what for?"

Danzo became more irate. 'Playing the fool huh?' "Silence! You are under arrest for stealing many scrolls from Konoha over the period of the last couple of months!" He struck the ground with his cane to silence Kitsune's laughing.

"You think that we," Kitsune pointed to his group. "Stole many of your forbidden scrolls while we were out on a nice mission with some of your best ninja?" The elders smiled at this. They liked whoever this hooded man was. Someone that stood up against Danzo.

"They have a point," some random elder called out, making Danzo more annoyed.

"You're damn right we stole them."

=Mount Myoboku=

"Welcome, Aka. This is our base of operations, also known as the village of the roads, Mount Myoboku," a clone of Kitsune said, patting the shoulder of a smaller figure.

The smaller hooded figure nodded, taking in the beauty of the place. Toads of all different colours of the rainbow, great statues and the flowing water and oil twisting across the land. Trees and mushrooms grew out of any place possible and the houses almost blended in the landscape.

"It's beautiful," the one known as Aka said before Kitsune motioned for him to follow.

"Let's go, we have to meet the leaders of this place before we start your training." Kitsune pressed a little harder on Ray's shoulder before the sky and ground shifted, revealing two small fro- toads sitting round a circle table.

"Who's this Naru-chan?" asked the green toad, as Kitsune took off their hood.

"The newest member of the Orange Flames." Aka took off his hood, revealing glossy purple hair falling down to his neck and partly stopping above his eyebrows.

=Konoha=

"You're damn right we stole them."

Everyone's eyes widened at this revelation. Nine shadows flickered across the ground and the Orange Flames' grew in number. Some of them formed a defensive barrier around the already present Flames.

"The hell is this?" roared Danzo, shocked at this.

"This is..." chuckled Kitsune. "The rest of the Orange Flames of the Sun! Say hello minna!"

Twelve hooded figures surrounded Kitsune, each having their own unique cloaks on: each had a separate hand seal drawn on top, symbolising their name. The Orange Flame marking at the bottom of each cloak, a drawn fire spreading across the bottom edges of the coat. Two lines of different colours ran down the cloaks that had arms. Kitsune was still laughing in this place, surrounded by ANBU. The air became more tense, so evil and so chaotic.

"Good," Danzo spoke up, after an eternity seemingly passed. "Now we can capture you all at once. You will tell us everything you know now." His smug looking smile got bigger, thinking he could finally finish it.

"Hmm... let's see... No," Kitsune joked, laughing more.

"Give up!"

"You are surrounded!"

"Surrender and you will not be harmed?" Kitsune's eyes turned to the ANBU that just spoke.

"Oh really, 'not be harmed?' I never thought the T&I was so nice!" Kitsune practically snorted before turning to the rest of the ANBU. "No, I don't think we will."

He looked around and saw the rest of the onlookers, his old teammates looking at him in shock. The people that treated him like some crazy demon-possessed being that shunned him were now afraid of him. They had every right to be.

His enhanced senses picked up every single feeling each one of them were showing.

Fear.

Anger.

Some shocked.

Some void of any emotion.

Some tense and ready to attack.

Some betrayed.

Some annoyed.

One evil.

He could feel it all.

'Where they using us?'

'What was it for?'

'Why?'

'Did... they use... me?'

"So..." a random elder's voice cut through the tense air. "Who are you really?"

Kitsune sighed. They were going to find out who he was eventually, and their goals, although he hadn't expected it to be this soon. All aside, looks like the time had come to show the world. "We are the Orange Flames of the Sun. We are the purifying fire," he started.

Some more of the Flames joined in the chant. "We are the ones to cleanse this world from evil. We share the same goals. We will fight, we will strive and we will do whatever it takes to reach our goal."

The rest joined in, the air tightening. "We will eliminate war, pain and corruption. We have many goals. We are merely reviving an old, long lost goal from millennia ago, stretching to now. We are the Orange Flames of the Sun and we strive for world peace."

"And... the elimination of Danzo," came the lone voice of Kitsune, feeling more evil and frightening.

The joint chanting of the Orange Flames was unexpected. Only a small chuckle was a response, evil lining the sound of it. Kitsune narrowed his hooded eyes to Danzo. The source of evil.

"Eliminate me? You pathetic weaklings. There is no way you'll be able to eliminate me, let alone do world peace. This world is bigger, darker and more evil than you know. Such a childish dream." Danzo's bandaged eye spun to life searching for any information in the Flames' minds.

"Looking for something Danzo?" Kitsune asked, taunting him.

'Kotoamat-' He was cut off by a large burst of chakra and a black shield surrounded the Flames, sticking out like a sore thumb in the brightness. '-sukami...' He tried to reach past it but to no avail as every time he tried to pierce through the shield, his prowess would retreat. He stopped trying to get in and the black shield retreated and formed into nine separate black orbs, moving around the Flames in a circle. 'This feeling...'

"Only the foolish think the world cannot change. You cannot change, you have fallen too deep into the darkness Danzo. Let us reveal to you what it means to be strong, not weak. Hare."

Hare lowered her hood revealing dark blue hair flowing down her back with white hair highlighting parts of the edges sticking out. Aqua blue bangs fell down her face, reaching her neck and above her eyes lay more aqua hair except it was put as a fringe. One lone strand sprung into the air. Bright amber eyes glowed with passion, contrasting the rest of her pale face.

She brought out two weapons that had a handle resting in the middle of the weapon. Two dark blue wings faced different directions on either ends of the weapon, a lighter blue covering the folds in between. The ends of them curved round the handle with spikes dotted round the edges. "Disagree with me? Change my mind but don't regret it."

Tenten's eyes lit up at the sight of weapons. 'So cool! I wanna inspect it!' She looked with stars in her eyes at the new weapons.

"So what?" grumbled Koharu. "You will surrender. Lay down your weapons now!"

"Oh well that's a shame. I can't lay down my weapons, let alone let you guys hold them otherwise you may die." He pointed to a random ROOT ANBU and a Truth-Seeker Orb crashed into the ANBU, taking all of their chakra and ending their suffering under Danzo before returning into its position around the Flames.

"I'm sick of you." Danzo pointed his hand at the Orange Flames, not showing any signs of flinching whatsoever. The ANBU in the tree finished their hand signs and attacks of each nature came sprouting out, along with strikes of kunai, shuriken and sword from the ANBU at the bottom.

"You don't learn do you?" came the mocking voice of Kitsune as it was drowned out by the sound of the wind whipping. Hare's long blue hair whipped from the wind before she turned her weapons, moulding the wind and disrupting the path of the metal weapons. The nine Truth-Seeker Orbs stopped circling before changing form and swirling round the Flames and forming a protective dome, the kunai that survived the wind being cut in half and falling lifeless to the ground; the jutsu being thrown at them being rendered useless by the dome that absorbed them.

Dirt and dust flew through the air, the air heating up and some trees setting alight from the pressure of the attacks. The air calmed, the fire extinguished and the dirt settled. Each of the defenders looked around to see the unharmed Flames standing there with the last of the winds flowing round their cloaks.

The hoods were all back on their heads, the weapons back where they belonged and the Truth-Seeker Orbs gone. Danzo seethed through his teeth, the elders starting to get back up from the onslaught. The rest of the onlookers stared at the Flames, still standing like nothing happened.

"How dare you attack my ninja?!" Danzo seethed through his clenched mouth, his sharingan spiralling back to life. He used it to try and get into Kitsune's mind once more but was met by an all-too familiar seal blocking his way. 'This seal... It's only known by the royals of... No... It can't be...' He examined it, the Uzumaki symbol guarding the rest of the mind. Only a true seal master could get rid of this, even if it could take hours. An Uzumaki could get rid of it in mere seconds, a testimony to their true power.

"Recognise this seal Danzo? You killed the makers of it," Kitsune said before the air heated up once more. "You thought after he died, all threats to your throne of power were gone. Well guess what? We're here to stop you."

Two pairs of red eyes loomed over the Orange Flames, a silhouette of a tanuki and cat made of fire forming. Three tails started to swirl in the sky.

"They're back Danzo." Now there were four pairs of faint red eyes in the sky. Ten tails swirled behind the beings now, the two new beings looking like a spiky turtle and a monkey. "We are going to change this world back to what it was. We are here for world peace."

The eyes turned to six pairs, twenty-one tails swirling and a horse and a slug silhouette appearing. Kitsune turned to the rest of the onlookers before speaking. "Your leader thinks this is a pathetic, childish and weak idea. We here think it is different!"

Sixteen red eyes were now showing, thirty-six tails moving around in the sky. A rhinoceros beetle and an ox with octopus tails were added to the collection, one space remaining. "We are here to change the world and eliminate corruption. To remove those who hate peace and to remove those evil intentions."

The last space in the sky filled.

Nine silhouettes, forty-five tails.

A silhouette of a tanuki, a cat on fire, a spiky turtle, a monkey, a horse, a slug, a rhinoceros beetle, an ox with octopus tails and a fox started to change, revealing their true colours.

"We remove those who whisper lies to keep us doing what they want. Those such as your Hokage!"

The nine beings roared before disappearing and leaving a parting gift. Killer intent flooded the area, the wind moved more and the earth shook. Thunder clapped in the clear sky and some trees set alight.

"We are the Orange Flames of the Sun!"

=Mount Myoboku=

"Got it!" Naruto reached to the back of a shelf in the Toad Vault to a dusty old scroll with '精神' written on a scroll. "Let's see... here it is!" Naruto motioned for Ranmaru to come over to where he was. "This is your eye isn't it?"

Ranmaru's dojutsu activated before deactivating to confirm.

"Seishingan, the spirit eye. Abilities... let's see..." Naruto opened the scroll and began reading.

Seishingan grants the owner many abilities that include penetrating vision, able to see clearly through an obstruction and from long distances similar to the Hyuga's Byakugan. At the same time, the Kekkei Genkai has the ability to counter other dōjutsu's visual prowess, as it blocked the ability to see chakra and even fool the vision of the "all-seeing" Byakugan.

Likewise, it can perform irresistible genjutsu. The Seinshingan grants vision that lets the owner locate and track others by sensing chakra, picking up chakra from long distances, and noticing changes in an individual's chakra. It is also able to sense how many people are present and hear individuals from long distances.

"That's so cool!" Ranmaru said before listening to Naruto once more.

The owner's vision has heightened perception and analytical powers, able to comprehend any details they see. The wielder can tell someone's thoughts just by meeting someone for the first time, able to help them through any troubles.

They can also see one's life force, which he can use to predict the opponent's next move or tell if someone was alive, well-beyond the Byakugan's power to detect life through their active chakra networks. In addition to this, the owner is able transfer part of his own life force to completely heal someone who is mostly dead.

"Wow, that's a lot of information. Anything else you want to add to it?" Naruto asked Ranmaru, getting a shaken head in response.

"That's all of it I guess. I don't know anymore about these eyes." Ranmaru activated his Seinshingan once more and pointed to the corner of the page. "I see something there."

"What?" Naruto asked, having no response. Ranmaru leaned under a desk for some paper and dipped a pen into some ink before writing something down in it.

Intricate lines followed others, words appeared from out of nowhere and the dark ink formed a seal around the paper.

"...it can't be!"

So... How'd I do? Good? Bad? Awful? Trash? Amazing? Tell me!

If you have any suggestions, let me know and I'll incorporate them if I like them!

Okay, so I just really wanted to get this chapter out as catching up to schools extremely troublesome :/ Sorry for ending on a cliffhanger but you gotta have suspense in a story!

Also, another note, I have noticed that a lot of fanfics have Naruto's alias as Kitsune or something along those lines. Should I change it so that the name is Kurama instead?

And that's all for now!

See you later: Ja ne!
