Yamada didn't turn up the next day. Midnight covered his classes. Aizawa, on the other hand, did come in. He looked tired and grief-stricken, but that was to be expected. Everyone was surprised to see him, the class had been somewhat expecting All Might to come and take them for homeroom, but when Aizawa walked in they fell silent and stared.

"Thank you, for the card and your well-wishes, they were appreciated." Aizawa said.

"Are you okay, Sensei?" Hagakure asked.

"I'll be fine." He said. "Don't worry about me. At the end of the day, I'm your teacher, and my personal life shouldn't affect your education any more than it has." Aizawa said.

As suspected, Kouda and Katsuki missed their lesson with Mic, however Katsuki decided to practice on his own. They're were several games online testing reflex time and observations. He also spent time without his hearing aids in, mainly around Eijirou.

The two of them watched a movie, snuggled together, with subtitles on. They had conversations solely in sign language, Katsuki teaching his boyfriend new signs when he didn't know one. Katsuki also cooked without them in, finding the process a little more difficult when he couldn't listen to the beeping of his timer and the hiss of water simmering.

His biggest task was when the class sat down together to work on their homework. Everyone was talking over each other, and although not hearing meant he could concentrate more, it also meant that every time he looked up, everyone was talking about something else, at least from what he could tell from lip reading.

He felt left out, lonely even, which he knew was stupid. He'd made the choice to take his hearing aids out, but the low murmuring of distant conversations was isolating. However, the next time he looked up, Midoriya caught his eye.

"Are you okay Kacchan?"

"It's weird. Not being able to hear anything." Katsuki put his pen down to sign. "I don't know what everyone is talking about."

"Halloween; Mina wants to throw a party." Izuku signed with a smile. "But we'd need to get permission of Aizawa-sensei."

"I see." Katsuki nodded. "Like a costume party?"

"Yes."

"You going as All Might again?"

"I think that's a bit weird, now he's our teacher." Izuku laughed.

"It was a bit weird when we reached middle school." Katsuki countered.

"You can't judge me if you're just going to go as a werewolf again."

"It's a classic."

"Sure." Izuku signed, laughing.

Aizawa did agree that they could hold a costume party on the condition they included 1.B. It turned out Vlad and Aizawa had already been planning to have a party in the dorms. The class agreed to the condition, not exactly against the other hero class joining them.

They decided to have the party on the Saturday, as although Shouto, Katsuki and Hitoshi had their remedial classes everyone else was free. Katsuki and Shouto were unavailable on Sundays, as were several members of 1.B.

That only gave them a few days to plan. So after school on the Thursday a group of students went to the store to gather snacks and decorations. Katsuki didn't go, he did his homework instead. Momo agreed to spend the next few days creating whatever else they needed and couldn't find.

Friday started off slightly strange, for Katsuki. He woke up with his alarm as normal, going on a short run and showering before returning to his room to wake Eijirou for breakfast. That in of itself wasn't too strange. It was Hoshi who was behaving differently. She trailed them downstairs like usual, but instead of settling by Katsuki's feet as he ate, she paced along the edge of the door, yowling.

Katsuki frowned, watching her.

"Hoshi, come here." He called. Hoshi simply sat where she stood and meowed.

"The fuck is up with your cat?" Mina asked.

"It's too early for this much noise." Shinsou grunted.

"I don't know." Katsuki said standing up and walking towards her.

"Soba was being weird this morning. He wouldn't let me out of my room, he bit my feet when I tried to leave." Shouto said.

As Katsuki approached Hoshi, the cat flattened her tufted ears and bared her teeth. She hissed, fluffing up her fur.

"What the hell, Hoshi?" Katsuki said as he reached out to pet her and she swiped at him. "What's wrong with you?" She hissed again.

"Bakugou." Shouji called, making the blond turn. Shouji gestured to Kouda who started to sign.

"She doesn't want you to leave. She doesn't think it's safe."

"Hoshi, it's school." Katsuki said, moving slightly so he could pick her up. She dug her claws into his blazer but Katsuki ignored it. "Don't be silly." He said, kissing her forehead, Hoshi purred lightly, butting her head against Katsuki's cheek.

Leaving her was a little difficult. As soon as Katsuki put her down Hoshi was back patrolling the door, snapping and hissing at everyone who approached. In the end Katsuki was forced to take her back up to his room to allow everyone to escape.

School was a little more normal, at least to start off with. Present Mic returned to teaching, still a little subdued, his persona clearly forced. And Aizawa appeared back to his usual self, at least to those outside of his class, to those who knew him, to his class, he seemed distant. But they understood and left him alone.

After lunch however, things went to shit. The class were all sat, listening as Aizawa went over the legal repercussions of hurting a villain more than necessary. All of the class were diligently making notes and asking questions when a loud alarm suddenly burst through the air.

Every person in the room jumped; Sero dropped his pen to the floor and Dark Shadow sprang from Tokoyami's chest, rising and hissing. Ice crystalized over Shouto's desk and Katsuki's hands crackled. Aizawa had already pulled his capture weapon down, ready to protect his students before anyone really had chance to process anything.

The noise was deafening, a blaring high-pitched noise that immediately put everyone on edge. Everyone stood from their seats, but none of them moved, awaiting instruction. Adrenaline coursed through Katsuki's veins as his body practically vibrated with additional energy.

"Is that the fire alarm?" Uraraka asked.

"No." Iida said simply.

"It's the security alarm." Aizawa said. "Everyone stay calm and don't moved. Just stay in your seats."

"What's going on?" Mina asked.

"Just stay where you are." Aizawa said.

That was when the power went out.

Now it wasn't dark outside, it was the middle of the day. But the lights going off still made everyone flinch. The projector, that had been displaying Aizawa's presentation cut off, and from the lack of light coming from Aizawa's laptop, that had gone off too. The alarm abruptly stopped, ending with a strangled whine.

But that wasn't the worst thing that happened.

Denki cried out, seemingly in pain. He fell backwards, stumbling over the chair. Eijirou, who was stood behind him, caught Denki before he could hit the floor. Eijirou stepped backwards with the sudden dead weight.

"Denki?" Eijirou asked. "Bro?"

"Denki!" Jirou spun around to see what had happened. "He's out cold."

"Sensei?" Eijirou asked.

Katsuki could barely breath. His hands shook as sweat dripped from his fingers. His body was transitioning into a fight or flight, producing extra sweat, ready for an attack. Aizawa made his way towards Denki.

"Kacchan?" A hand on his shoulder had him spinning around, explosions sparking off of his palms. Izuku squeaked at the movement, stepping backward. His body glowed green as he too activated his Quirk.

"Everybody calm down." Aizawa reiterated. He placed the back of his hand on Denki's forehead before checking his pulse on his wrist. With a grunt he picked up Denki's unconscious form. "Jirou, unroll my sleeping bag, so I can put him on it." Jirou nodded, rushing over behind Aizawa's desk and doing as he said.

Aizawa then carried Denki over and placed him gently down.

"Whey." Denki mumbled.

"Is he okay?" Jirou asked.

"I think so." Aizawa said. "Whatever took out the power, must have hit him too."

"Oh." Jirou said softly.

"He'll be okay. It must have been some kind of power surge." Aizawa said.

"You know who it is. You know. You know." Katsuki said, his voice breaking as tears began to run down his face. "You said we were safe but he's here."

"Babe?" Eijirou said.

"He's here for me." Katsuki said.

Eijirou weaved his way through the desks until he was next to Katsuki, taking his sweat covered hands in his own. Katsuki whimpered and Eijirou pulled him into a hug.

"We won't let him anywhere near you. Whoever he is." Eijirou kissed his cheek.

"Katsuki, listen to me." Aizawa said. "There is no way Pulse is getting this far into the building. I promise you."

"Should you go out there? Shouldn't the teachers be trying to stop him?" Uraraka asked.

"They are. After the Summer Camp our policy on security breaches changed." Aizawa said. "No matter the circumstances, I'm not supposed to leave you. You've been the target of too many attacks. The other teachers will sort it. I'm here to keep you safe."

"But what if he get's past them? What if he get's in here?" Katsuki asked, leaning more into Eijirou's hold.

"I won't let anyone hurt any of you." Aizawa said.

"No one will hurt our friends." Dark Shadow hissed, getting larger and larger with each passing second. "No one."

"Dark Shadow, please, calm yourself." Tokoyami said, trying to pet the demon's beak. "You will do more damage than any villain." Dark Shadow hissed again but he shrunk a little. It wasn't dark enough for Tokoyami to lose control, but the demon clearly was agitated.

Eijirou's arms tightened around Katsuki's waist as the blond buried his head in Eijirou's neck. He ran his hand up and down Katsuki's back as he felt his hurried, shallow breaths and rapidly beating heart.

"It's okay, Baby. It's okay." Eijirou said softly.

Uraraka was holding on to Iida's hand and Jirou was still crouched down besides Denki. Izuku came around the side of Katsuki and Eijirou, placing a hand on the blond's shoulder. Katsuki sniffled lightly.

Aizawa moved to stand by the door, directing those at the front of the class to move back. Mina and Hanta flocked towards Eijirou and Katsuki.

"Sensei, what should we do?" Momo asked.

"Just keep calm. The alarm was triggered, teachers and our additional security will have gone to check it out. Other hero's will be informed, they'll come and help if necessary." Aizawa said.

"Even with the power going out? They'd be informed?" Shouto asked.

"It's instantaneous, along with the alarms." Aizawa said. "They'll know."

"I see." Shouto said. "Which heroes?"

"The Lurkers mainly. The work closest. Endeavour and Best Jeanist asked to be added to the list." Aizawa said, quietly opening the door to look out into the hall. "Bakugou, Pulse's Quirk has a time limit. Right?"

"7 minutes." Katsuki whimpered.

"It's been six, okay?" Aizawa said. "The power will come back on soon, we'll find out what's going on."

As Aizawa spoke a distant whirring could be heard as the back up generators kicked in. Suddenly the lights flickered back on. A number of people's phones bleeped with new messages as the projector started.

"Attention everyone." Nezu's voice came over the speaker system, everyone looked up at the speakers instinctually. "All students should return to their dormitories. Their homeroom teachers should meet them there. There is no longer any threat present on campus."

"All teachers, please register your homeroom class and send me the registers. Any absences should be reported immediately. Thank you."

Aizawa nodded to himself.

"Alright, you heard the principal. Let's go." Aizawa said. He went back to Denki, bending down and picking him up with a grunt. "Aoyama, open the door, please." He asked as Aoyama was closest to the door.

"Katsuki? Did you hear that Baby? It's over." Eijirou said softly.

"It won't ever be over, not until he's caught." Katsuki sniffled.

"Come on, let's go." Eijirou said, taking Katsuki's hand. They headed towards the door, Izuku following behind.

They saw other students going to their own dorms as they went. They got a number of stares due to Aizawa carrying Denki. Katsuki squeezed Eijirou's hand tightly, flinching every time Izuku brushed a little too close.

Eijirou ran his thumb over Katsuki's knuckles and spoke softly to him, but he wasn't really listening. Jirou stuck by Aizawa's side, concern evident on her features. Everyone else stuck close together, like a little flock of sheep, trying to avoid a wolf.

It wasn't a long trip and as soon as they were there everyone could breath again.

"I'll go and get a lead to plug Denki in." Jirou said.

"I'm going to check on Soba." Shouto said, following Jirou towards the stairs.

"Yeah, I need to see Hoshi." Katsuki said, pulling his hand free from Eijirou. Kouda followed wordlessly, presumably going to get his bunny.

Upon opening his door, he was leapt at by Hoshi. She jumped up and down on the spot, trying to get him to pick her up in a movement that was more dog-like than cat. She yowled and tried to purr at the same time.

"You knew something was off, hah?" He knelt down and she practically climbed into his grasp. She ran her head against his neck, purring. Katsuki scratched her butt, above her tail, rising to his feet. He kissed her on the ear before turning and returning downstairs.

He was the last to arrive. Aizawa had put Denki on the sofa and Jirou had plugged him into the mains. She sat next to him, stroking his hair. No one dared say anything. Shouto and Uraraka were fussing over Soba; smothering him in kisses and pets.

Eijirou was stood with Sero and Mina, watching over Denki and Jirou. Katsuki headed over to them, Eijirou smiled in greeting. Hoshi wrapped her tail around Katsuki's leg as he carried her, a testament to how big she had gotten.

"Are you okay Bakugou?" Aizawa asked. Katsuki shrugged.

"He was here. We both know why. I'm so fucking tired of this shit." Katsuki said. Aizawa nodded, reaching out to pet Hoshi's head.

"The important thing to remember, the system detected him and he didn't get anywhere near you." Aizawa said, Katsuki nodded. "Hakamata will be here in a minute."

"He came?" Katsuki said. "Why? He can't fight."

"To check on you, kid." Aizawa said. "Endeavour's here too, he wants to see Todoroki."

"Oh." Katsuki said.

"They're with Nezu right now, they'll be here in a minute." Aizawa said.

"Okay." Katsuki nodded. "Erm thanks. Sorry I freaked out."

"Katsuki, you didn't freak out that much. And it was an understandable reaction. I think everyone was scared. You don't have to apologise or thank me."

"Whatever." Katsuki shrugged, not really knowing what else say. Aizawa nodded, patting Katsuki on the shoulder. He walked away, back to Denki, checking on him again. Eijirou kissed Katsuki's cheek.

"You feeling better?" Eijirou asked. Katsuki hummed in response, leaning against his boyfriend.

"Thank you." Katsuki said.

"Like Aizawa-sensei said, you don't have to thank me." Eijirou said, nuzzling into Katsuki's neck. "You're my boyfriend, I'll always be there for you when you're upset."

"Just know I don't take you for granted." Katsuki said, turning to briefly connect their lips.

Everyone remained somewhat huddled together, no one able to relax. Dark Shadow was still floating over Tokoyami's shoulder, hissing gently and refusing to disappear into Tokoyami's chest. Kouda cradled his bunny whilst Ojiro pet its ears. Shouto was still sat between Momo and Uraraka, with Soba. Izuku and Iida stood behind the sofa, talking to the three of them.

Denki stirred slightly on the sofa, moaning lightly. Aizawa sent Jirou to get him a glass of water as he helped a rather dazed looking Kaminari sit up. The blond idly chewed at the cable in his mouth, making Aizawa take it off of him with a frown.

"I don't know how that's safe." He said.

"'s fine." Denki mumbled. "Wha' happened?"

"Some kind of electrical surge." Aizawa said. "You passed out. How do you feel?"

"Drained." Denki said, "It's fine, I just ran out of power." He took the cable off of Aizawa and put it back in his mouth. "I just need to charge."

"I got you some water." Jirou said, putting the class down on the coffee table.

"Thanks Kyouka." Denki said around the cable.

The sound of the dormitory doors opening made everyone jump, they all turned to see Present Mic, Best Jeanist, Endeavour and Hawks walk in. Aizawa stood, heading towards his husband, they embraced in a tight hug before pulling apart.

"Hawks, I didn't know you were coming too." Aizawa said.

"Hawks was actually one of the first to arrive." Mic said.

"Oh?"

"It's my day off, I was just flying in the area, I heard the alarm." Hawks said with a shrug. "I thought I'd check it out."

"Was it him?" Katsuki asked. "Was it Pulse?"

"Yes." Hakamata said. "He was gone by the time I got here though."

"Yeah, according to what the CCTV managed to catch, he appeared in the carpark, with a kid. He set of the alarms straight away. It looks like he activated his Quirk to shut off the alarm. But he didn't expect for so many heroes to be ready to fight him. He disappeared pretty quickly." Mic explained.

"We've searched the campus twice, but we believe him to be gone." Hawks said. "We think he just gave up."

"Well he would have been caught if he stayed." Endeavour replied.

"I'm sure he would have been." Aizawa nodded. "So what's happening now?"

"Nezu has increased the patrols for tonight, ready for review. He said he might cancel the Culture Festival, just in case. I don't know what he'll do yet. There's a staff meeting later."

"Okay." Aizawa nodded. "Thank you three for coming." He bowed slightly to the three pro heroes. The heroes nodded in return.

"May I speak with my son?" Endeavour asked, his beard flickering, indicating that it wasn't really a question.

"Go ahead." Aizawa stepped aside, allowing Endeavour a clear view of the students.

"Shouto." Endeavour called. Shouto visibly sighed, standing up and walking towards his father. He carried Soba in his arms.

"Endeavour." Shouto replied. Katsuki watched Endeavour visibly wince at the impersonal greeting. The two of them moved away towards the kitchen, giving them the illusion of privacy.

"Is this Soba?" Endeavour asked, pointing at the cream coloured cat. Soba flattened his ears.

"I'm surprised you remembered his name." Shouto replied, stroking through the cat's fur.

"I know what your favourite food is, Shouto."

"Fuyumi told you, huh?" Shouto asked.

"I might not have been the best father, Shouto, but I have known you all your life."

"Might isn't the word I would use." Shouto scowled

"There's nothing I can do to undo the past Shouto, I'm trying."

"Try harder. Apologise for once." Shouto snapped. "I don't know why you're here, what you're trying to prove, but it's not working. Take responsibility for once. You ruined my childhood. You isolated me from my siblings and treated me as nothing more than a weapon."

"Shouto I—"

"I'm not finished." Shouto hissed. "You hurt me, you hurt Touya, Fuyumi, Natsuo, Mom. You ruined our family. And I get that you want to change, you want to make it right, but I don't know if you can, not if you can't apologise. Prove to me that you've changed, prove to me you're capable of being a father, maybe then I'd be more willing to let you into my life."

Todoroki Enji stood silent for a moment, nodding to himself.

"I'm trying Shouto… I'm working on it."

"Prove it." Shouto said, before turning back to the group. Everyone tried to avoid eye-contact, acting as though they hadn't been listening. Shouto walked back towards his classmates as Endeavour left the dormitories without a word.

"Did I just do that?" Shouto asked Katsuki as he approached. "I kind of blacked out."

"Shout at your Dad? Yeah." Katsuki snorted. "I'm impressed."

"Holy shit, I'm surprised he didn't kill me." Shouto said.

"Hmm, well if you haven't spoke with Aizawa about your home situation, I think you'll end up having an interesting conversation." Katsuki replied.

"He knows most of it." Shouto shrugged. "And Hound Dog."

"Good."

"Todoroki, are you okay?" Aizawa asked.

"I'm fine." Shouto shrugged. "I'm sorry for causing a scene, I didn't mean to shout at him."

"It' alright." Aizawa said. "It's been a rough day."

"I should go." Hawks said, ruffling his feathers. "I just followed everyone here."

"Thank you for helping." Aizawa said.

"No problem." Hawks smiled. "Tsuko' we still on for Monday?"

"Yes Hawks-sensei." Tokoyami said and Dark Shadow waved.

"I'll see you at home Tsunagu. And you…" He pointed at Katsuki. "Sunday, I'm gonna teach you things."

"Alright." Katsuki shrugged. Hawks laughed, a musical sound, before heading towards the doors. "Hawks out." He said as he left.

"Both Hawks and Flash want to train with you. I have no idea what you're doing, but please don't destroy the training room." Hakamata said, looking at Katsuki.

"I haven't done any damage to your training room, ever." Katsuki said, frowning.

"True." Hakamata shrugged. "I'm just making sure." He laughed. "The last time you and Hawks fought one of you dented the walls, I assume it was Hawks, but I don't know."

"It was probably Hawks with my body." Katsuki said. "He pinned me up against it."

"Most likely." Hakamata said. He paused for a second. "Are you okay?" Katsuki hesitated before answering, he was aware that everyone was listening to their conversation.

"No." He frowned. Eijirou's grip on his hand tightened, squeezing it in support. "Why can't he leave me alone?"

"I don't know Katsuki. He seems to have attached himself to you." Hakamata said. "We'll find him, and we'll make him pay, I promise."

"I just want this to be over. I want my Mom and Dad back. I want to be able to go outside without worrying that he's watching me."

"He has been watching you." Hakamata said with a sigh. "And me, Aizawa, Kirishima, Todoroki and Shinsou."

"What?" Katsuki said. "How?"

"He had pictures of you. Of your friends. At the warehouse we found. I didn't think much of it, the whole scene seemed staged, especially when the DNA lead us on a goose chase. But now he's come here I don't know."

"Is anyone else in danger?" Katsuki asked.

"I doubt it. He's a coward. He runs from a fight. He's had plenty of opportunity to do something and he hasn't." Hakamata said, before addressing the class. "I'd advise that none of you go anywhere alone. But I'm sure Aizawa-san has been enforcing that already."

"I've been strict with my off campus request approvals. I'll be more so in the future." Aizawa said. "I know in the past you have gone to All Might and Mic to ask for permission, in the future only come to me. I need to know where you are at all times."

"Yes Sensei." The class chorused.

"Thank you." Aizawa nodded. "If you need me and I'm not here, call me. You have my number, don't hesitate. I'd rather you call and wake me up then go missing." Mic snorted at his husband's words.

"He means if you ring and he's asleep I'll answer and wake him up." Yamada said, making several members of the class giggle.

"Katsuki, come here." Hakamata said. Katsuki handed Hoshi to Eijirou and stepped forwards. Immediately Tsunagu pulled him close, into a hug. Katsuki's cheeks tinged pink with embarrassment, at the thought of his classmates seeing the display of affection. Nevertheless, he leant into the embrace, inhaling the comforting scent of fabric softener.

"I'm sorry he keeps coming after you. We'll work harder. We won't let him get to you. And if he does. Well… I'll find you."

"I know." Katsuki said, his voice slightly muffled by the denim. When they pulled apart Katsuki could tell Hakamata was smiling at him, even though his mouth was obscured by his costume, his eyes were warm and fond.

"If you need me, call me." Tsunagu said. "And Aizawa, if you need anything from my agency, let me know. I might not have many sidekicks, but all of them would be willing to patrol here."

"Thank you." Aizawa bowed his head.

"Even Sleuth? She hates U.A.?" Katsuki asked.

"Sleuth will do whatever I tell her to do. She's on probation."

"She got you with the feathers?"

"Oh no, she threw a tin of paint at me. It went everywhere. I have a lovely bruise on my chest, just by my surgery scars, where the tin hit me." Katsuki stiffed a laugh. "Hawks almost killed her, she got some on his wings."

"Damn." Katsuki said with a shake of his head. "Why'd you stop him?"

"Bad for business." Hakamata said simply. "Anyway. I should go, if you're okay with that. I kind of just left without telling anyone."

"Oh."

"I stole Flashback's car."

"Why?"

"I took the train in today. But I couldn't just ignore an alert from U.A." He said.

"I'll see you Sunday." Katsuki said.

"Yeah, I'll see you then, Katsuki." Tsunagu offered everyone a wave before turning around and making his way to the door.

"Erm, Hakamata-san." Eijirou said, making the man stop and look back. "Thank you for the shirt. It's really cool."

"I'm glad you liked it." Hakamata said, once again smiling. Then he left, leaving only 1.A., Aizawa and Yamada in the room.

"Kaminari, are you okay?" Aizawa asked again.

"'m fine." Kaminari mumbled around the charger still in his mouth. Jirou was sat on the arm of the sofa, stroking Denki's hair. He looked between a mixture of tired and high. "Kinda hungry, and tired. But mostly fine."

"Bakugou?" Aizawa turned to look at him.

"I'm okay."

"Everyone else?"

"I believe we are all okay, Sensei." Iida said. "We're all a little shaken up, but I'm sure if we just spend the evening relaxing we'll all be okay again by tomorrow."

"We better be, because Halloween!" Mina shouted the last word, encouraging a cheer from everyone.

"We can still have the party, right?" Uraraka asked.

"It's here and no one is leaving campus, so sure." Aizawa said. "If you need any more things for the party let me know. Bakugou, Todoroki, Shinsou and I can get them after the remedial classes."

"Thank you, Sensei." Momo said. "You're still coming?"

"And bringing Eri-chan?" Izuku added.

"Yes, I am. I know you're all getting dressed up, but can we keep everything child friendly please. Remember Eri is only 6 and still easily scared. I don't want anyone jumping out at her or trying to scare her."

"Don't worry Sensei." Eijirou said. "Those of us with younger siblings will keep the others in line."

"Thank you Kirishima." Aizawa said. "Of course, I'll be with her the whole time. As will Hizashi. It's just a precaution."

"Is your Mom still staying with you? Can she come?" Hagakure asked.

"Yes, she's staying with us, no she's not coming. I think she's either having the evening to herself or visiting my sister." He froze for a second. "Oh hell no." He turned to Hizashi. "She better not be inviting Chiyoko to our house."

"What's a better time than Halloween?" Yamada shrugged.

"My funeral."

"Shouta." Hizashi frowned, pulling out his phone as it vibrated with a message. "Nezu wants us."

"Fine." Aizawa said. "Look after yourselves. All Might and Snipe are here tonight. Someone else probably will be as well. Remember call me."

"Goodbye Aizawa-sensei, Goodbye Yamada-sensei." Iida said, dismissing the two of them. The teachers nodded, waving before leaving.

"Well today's been a shit show." Sero said after a moment.

"You can say that again." Ojiro muttered.

"Like what were we even learning?" Satou said.

"I don't know." Mina whined.

"We should all gather together and read the chapter of the textbook." Momo said.

"Maybe later." Iida said. "For now, I think we need to just relax a little. Doing work will only stress us out more."

"Why don't we all just sit and talk for a while?" Tsu said.

"Good plan, Tsu-chan." Uraraka said.

All of them gathered around on the sofas and on the floor. Katsuki took Hoshi off of Eijirou, sitting on his lap instead. Eijirou wrapped his arms around Katsuki's waist, kissing his cheek. Shouto sat between Momo and Hitoshi.

"Kacchan?" Denki started. "Have you ever seen Best Jeanist's face?"

"All of the time." Katsuki says. "He didn't wear his costume for a while. He doesn't wear it on Sundays either."

"Oh." Denki mumbled. "So he has a face?"

"Most people do, Denki." Katsuki said. Denki giggled.

"Gods you are dumb when you've got no energy." Sero laughed.

"I'm dumb anyway." Denki said, resting his head in Jirou's lap. Katsuki shifted slightly, so his lips brushed against the shell of Eijirou's ear.

"He's going to be so mad he's too dopey to remember how close he is to her." Katsuki whispered. "He'd never do that when his normal."

"Jirou wouldn't let him do that when he's normal." Eijirou replied.

"True." Katsuki said, kissing Eijirou's cheek. "Love you."

"Love you too." Eijirou said squeezing Katsuki's waist in a hug.

"Speaking of Jeanist, he got you a birthday present?" Uraraka asked.

"Yeah." Eijirou smiled "A shark T-shirt. It was awesome."

"That's so cool." Uraraka said.

"Why?" Hagakure asked.

"Because he loves Katsuki and Katsuki loves me." Eijirou said simply. Katsuki nuzzled into Eijirou's neck, lips pressing lightly against his skin.

"Damn, I wish I had a close relationship with a pro." Hagakure whined.

"You can have my father, I'm sure he's craving a close, meaningful connection." Shouto said.

"Surely we all have close relationships with pros, I mean, we have Aizawa-sensei and all the teachers." Momo said. "They're all Pro Heroes."

"They don't count though." Hagakure said. "Look at Bakugou and Tokoyami, they regularly work with the Number 2, and what's Hawks now, Number 4, pro hero. Like that's amazing. Compared to those of us who can't even find a work placement. I'm not counting you Shouto, because yours is your Dad."

"Dad's a bit of a strong word." Shouto said.

"Shouto-kun?" Izuku started. "Forgive me if I'm crossing a line, but I thought you and Endeavour were getting along better nowadays? Especially since he let you get Soba?"

"We were." Shouto said, petting his cat. "Let's just say I remembered some other things that have made me revaluate our relationship."

Dabi, Katsuki thought. It had to be him. Of course, Katsuki knew that whatever Endeavour had done to Shouto, he must have done to Dabi, but he'd never really thought about it in depth. But those scars were horrific and in reality, he was lucky to be alive. Well, he was sure lucky wasn't the word Dabi would use.

Katsuki hadn't really spoken to Debi, other than first texting him to confirm his number. It had been a simple exchange.

From Unknown Number:

This is Bakugou

From Patchwork:

Nice. Don't use my name.

From Spitfire:

Not a problem Staples.

From Patchwork:

Now that's just mean.

They hadn't spoken since, and they were nowhere near close enough to discuss childhood trauma and abuse. Not that Katsuki really had any. But he supposed that Dabi and Shouto had an innately closer bond. They would have more drive to talk to each other and would be more open with each other.

Katsuki could only assume that whatever anger Dabi had towards their father, Shouto was now channelling. It was a shame, in a way. Katsuki knew that Endeavour was the best person, from experience, to teach Shouto how to use his Quirk. Whilst they'd never be close, their budding relationship would have been beneficial for Shouto's progress.

But, Katsuki supposed it was better for him, if Shouto wasn't using the opportunity to progress. He needed all the advantages he could get. Pulse hunting him down at school was another thing holding him back. He was losing fights, getting pursued by villains… Again. Sure, like Hagakure said, he had an advantage with his relationship with Hakamata and Takami, but he needed to improve more.

He had to admit, he'd been slacking recently. Outside of class his workouts had diminished in frequency. He much preferred to spend an extra hour in bed with Eijirou than workout. And any free time he had was spent with his boyfriend. Not training. Damn, he had been letting himself go.

"You okay, Babe?" Eijirou asked.

"Yeah, just thinking."

"What about?"

"I need to start training more."

"Aaw please don't tell me you're going to start running in the morning. I love our cuddles." Eijirou whined.

"I have to get back in shape."

"Babe, you're all muscle."

"I know, but I need to train more. Get better." Katsuki said.

"How about we start training after school, huh? We go on a run or spar?" Eijirou asked.

"Okay." Katsuki nodded. "We start on Monday?"

"Monday."

For those of you who are interested I'm doing Kinktober for EraserMic on Ao3.
