A/N: For the prompt: Can you write a drabble where Kensi, Deeks, Sam, and Callen are quarantined with each other? I took the more ridiculous route with this one.
"Deeks, if you don't put that guitar down, I'm going to shove it up your ass," Sam said irritably. Deeks played a drawn out cord while looking directly at Sam.
"I read an article that said we should take time to learn a new skill," he responded, plucking out a few notes and completely ignoring Sam's increasing annoyance. Kensi just shook her hand and continued poring over the 1000 piece puzzle she'd started a few days ago.
"But you already know you to play the guitar."
"True, but if I don't practice then I'll lose my touch."
"G, back me up," Sam demanded, turning to Callen who was calmly examining a tiny screw. Laid out on the table before him were a couple dozen pieces of metal and plastic.
"I already told you, I'm not getting into this, but I rather listen to Deeks' playing than you two bickering," Callen replied, grabbing a screwdriver.
"Or another podcast," Kensi muttered under her breath.
"Oh, god, don't even mention it," Deeks begged. "I never want to hear about capitalism again."
"Hey, at least I'm doing something useful with my time," Sam said, sounding offended as he pointed at Kensi and Deeks.
"This is useful," Callen countered, now holding two unidentifiable pieces up to the light.
"How is taking apart the toaster, for the second time, a worthy use of your time?"
"Well," Callen paused to screw the two pieces together. "now I know how it works."
"We didn't need to know how it works. It's a toaster. It's supposed to toast things, or it would if you would quit destroying it."
"It would be nice to be able to make toast again," Kensi offered mildly, biting down on her bottom lip as she put in a tiny blue piece and then carefully took it back out a moment later.
"And don't get me started on the puzzles," Sam said, turning towards her with a disgusted look.
"It relaxes me," Kensi said in a purposely calm voice, but the look she shot him said otherwise.
"You've been working on that thing non-stop for three days."
"Except for when we have sex," Deeks pointed out helpfully. After two weeks of living together, his filter was at an all-time low.
"And that's definitely something I'll never be able to forget," Callen sighed. "I keep telling you guys that walls here are incredibly thin."
"And we told you to get ear plugs," Kensi replied without a hint of remorse. "We're going to be here a minimum of eight weeks."
"Ooh, I bet I could learn how to play Bohemian Rhapsody in eight weeks," Deeks mused, pulling something up on his phone.
"Anybody know where this piece goes?" Callen asked no one in particular as he held up a curved bit of metal and two screws.
"Now I know why Hetty didn't let us keep our weapons," Sam sighed.
