I always wanted to focus on a story on the original five ponies that serve as Dawn's enforcers including Dawn herself. How did they rise to power? What was this adventure they went on against the Storm King?

The six had gathered full power. They were ready to exterminate the Wenja tribe.

"You may have stopped my army, but we hold the most powerful magic of them all, the magic of Friendship!" Dawn stated.

Connor fired on the six, but their gold aura prevented them from getting hit.

"Oh good for you, you're invulnerable! Ain't that just peachy!"

"Oh god, we're gonna die," Peter said.

"It was nice knowing you Peter." The writer said.

A beam of magic shot out from the six.

"Get away from my friends!"

Newton absorbed the magic and redirected it back at the six.

"Gah!"

Newton awoke with a jump. As he looked around him, he saw Unikitty sleeping beside him and the writer in a leaf hammock. It was all a dream.

The six ponies, Dawn, Dasher, Shy Fly, Shiny, Horseshoe, and Party had just escaped from the Storm King and his army.

"We just had our cupcakes handed to us by the worst party crashers ever!" Party stated.

"We got to go back and fight!" Dasher added.

"You saw those goons who call themselves the Storm Realm, they're tough!" Horseshoe said.

As the group argued, Dawn thought back on why the Storm Realm declared an attack on them. It hit her. The attack on the Storm Queen. She wasn't there on the day of her death, but she did order it. Now she just needed the Storm King out of the picture.

"What do we do now?" Shiny said.

"We recruit our army," Dawn said.

"What? Does this mean..." Shy Fly began.

"We have to leave this land."

The six traveled for days. As the group trekked through the desert, they were ready to give up.

"Must... need... water..." Party panted.

"I think... we're going in... circles..." Dasher said.

"Wait... are these... stones?" Horseshoe said, looking at the ground.

A neatly-lined stone road was in their line of light.

"Where there's a road... there must be..." Dawn said.

"A town!" Shiny cheered.

"Race ya!" Party added.

The local inhabitants were not kind to the ponies. Pigs, warthogs, birds, and cats all stared at them.

"Oh here, let me help you with that," Shiny said, being generous on stacking boxes.

"Hey!" A fish-like monster said, calling her out.

"Okay, new rule," Dawn said. "Just blend in, and whatever you do, don't-"

"HEY! CAN ANY PONY JOIN OUR FIGHT AGAINST THE STORM KING!" Party shouted.

"Huh?" One pig creature said.

Party jumped into his arms.

"Seriously, we need all the help we can get!"

"Yeah, forget it."

Party rejoined with the others.

"Party, keep a low profile," Dawn said.

It was too late.

"How much for the pink one?" One fish creature said.

"Oh, fudge." Dasher groaned.

The creatures swarmed the ponies, a cat wearing a long red coat got an idea. He stood in front of ponies.

"Back off everyone!" He said. "These creatures have an infection! If you touch them, you'll get infected!"

In an instant, everyone ran off.

"Wow, they're so gullible," Shiny said.

"Just who are you?" Horseshoe said.

"My name?" The cat said. "Capper's the name. Charming's my game."

"So... Capper, what kind of species are you? I never have seen your kind before?" Dawn said.

"I.. am a cat. And a friend that you need. What brings you to Kludgetown?"

"That's the name of this place?" Dawn said to herself before replying. "Anyway, our land of Canterlot has been taken over by the Storm King."

"The Storm King huh? I once had a home that was destroyed by the Storm King." Capper said. "I guess we both have a common enemy."

"So will you join us in our fight against the Storm King?" Party bounced.

"Of course I would. I know a place that is wrecked by the Storm King."

"Really? You do?"

"All we need to do is get on board."

"Wait, what do you mean? Dawn said.

Capper snuck onboard a ship that was ready to take off. Left with no other choice, the six boarded the ship as well.

"Did you hear something?" A crew member said.

"Eh? Probably just a mouse." Another one added.

"Okay every pony, just keep it quiet," Dawn said before glaring at Party. "Especially you, Party."

Party nodded and zipped her mouth.

"Hey, guys..." Capper said.

"Look what the cat dragged in." A bird crewmate taunted, catching them in the act.

"Ooh, good pun!" Party said.

TOOT!

"Oh, it's lunchtime."

"Um, can we have some?" Dasher said. "My stomach's hungry."

A vat of slob was placed in front of Dasher's plate.

"Dasher, you just had to ask," Dawn said.

"What? I was hungry." Dasher countered.

"Plus, ever since the Storm King attacked the other nations, we have the make the best of it." The captain of the ship said.

"They did what?" Horseshoe exclaimed.

"Resistance forces have been crumbled left to right. It's better to simply follow orders than rebel."

"We have to follow the Storm King's orders." Another crewmate said.

"I mean, you have to be something more than just following the Storm King's orders."

"Well, we used to be adventurous..."

The captain showed a black flag with a skull and crossbones.

"Whoa, you used to be pirates?" Dasher said with amazement.

"We prefer the term buccaneers and swashbucklers."

"So... pirates."

"Yeah." The captain said. "Pirates."

"So why don't you go back to your old ways? You could be awesome again!"

"Yeah, we can be awesome!" The captain realized.

Everyone ditched their Storm King gear and switched over to their pirate outfits.

"I feel the light in me." The captain realized. "It's a like tale still yet to be told..."

"So take the Storm King's orders and toss them," Dasher said.

Everyone was so busy celebrating that they didn't notice an airship heading in their direction.

"It's the Storm King!" Dasher gasped.

"Correction..."

Several of the Storm King's soldiers infiltrated the ship.

"We're here to explain everything. It's all a big misunderstanding."

"No way!" The captain said.

The soldiers noticed the Storm Realm equipment.

"Hey! You robbed from us!"

"Because we're pirates!"

While the ponies and the crew members fought off the Storm soldiers, Capper put those words into thought.

"Were they forced to obey? Or did they lie to us?" He thought.

After a short fight, the Storm Creatures were thrown overboard.

"Well, that was easy," Dawn said. "Now let's head to... wait, where are we going?"

"To Mount Aris!" The captain said.

"Um, where?"

"Home of the hippogriffs. Their home was destroyed by the Storm King. All we need to do is convince them to join our cause."

The entrance to the land of the hippogriffs stunned them.

"The place is destroyed..." Shiny gasped.

Mount Aris was in ruins. All that was left was the vines growing on top of the houses.

"Wait, do you hear something?" Capper said.

It sounded like some creature singing. The six along with their new allies followed the sound underground. A veil of water came into their view with a pink flower floating at the center. The singing came from the flower.

"Hey!" Party shouted.

"Ah!"

It wasn't the flower singing, but some creature inside. It made its escape underwater.

"Hey, wait!" Party said, jumping in.

"Oh no, I'm not going in," Capper said. "Don't want to get my fur wet."

"Chicken." The captain taunted as she and her crewmates got in the water along with the six.

"Where did she go?" Party said, resurfacing.

The flower came into the air. Like a sink drain, everyone was sucked in.

"Guys!" Capper said.

It was too late, everyone was pulled under.

Capper was left freaking out as he took off his coat. As he charged for the pool, he stopped short of the water.

"Hold it!"

Capper held his paws up.

"Turn around."

The Storm soldiers had caught up with them.

"Please, spare me!" Capper begged. "I mean you no harm!"

"Lower your weapons."

The Storm soldiers lowered their weapons.

"Huh?"

"We're on your side. The creatures that are with you, we just want to talk to them."

"But... why?"

Everyone gasped for breath.

"We're alive!" The captain cheered.

Air bubbles were placed over the group's heads so that they can breathe underwater. A faint yellow light swam over to them.

"Hey, who are you?" Dawn asked.

"Me?" The yellow light said. "Sky Star! Let me take you to my place!"

"Hey wait! We didn't get a good look at you!" Dasher said.

"You'll get a good look at me when we arrive!"

The light took them to an underwater city. The light revealed itself to be a sea pony.

"So you're Sky Star?" Horseshoe asked.

"Yep!" Sky said. "I'm going to take you to my mom! She'll accept you as newcomers!"

The group followed Sky to the throne room. The queen of the sea ponies was not pleased.

"What brings you, outsiders, here?"

"We're here to tell you about the Storm King."

"Ugh, this thing. The Storm King and his army destroyed our homes. His army is too powerful!"

"But if we team up, we can stop the Storm King!"

The queen gave some thought.

"You know, I might have something that might help..."

A large pink pearl floated down to the queen's fins.

"This... is my magic pearl."

As the queen rubbed over the pearl, its essence spread to the group. Their air bubbles were gone, their hooves turned into fins. They were now sea ponies of their own.

"Speak for yourself. We're fish." The captain said, along with her crewmates.

"With the power of this pearl, we can turn into more powerful ponies against the Storm King's army!" Dawn realized.

"You are right." The queen said.

"So will you help us?" Dasher asked.

"You betcha!" Sky said cheerfully.

The group returned to the surface along with Sky Star. Her normal sea pony form was changed into a griffon-like creature.

"So that's what a hippogriff looks like," Shiny said. "You look divine."

"Why didn't your mom come with us?" Party asked.

"I think she doesn't want to get involved."

"Hey, where's Capper?" The captain asked.

Capper was nowhere to be seen.

"He's gone! The Storm Realm must've caught up to us!" Sky panicked. "We have to rescue him!"

"But where would they take him?" Shy Fly asked.

"I know!" Dawn said. "Back to where it all started."

Disguised as slaves, the ponies returned to Canterlot to rescue Capper.

"What's this?" A Storm Guard said.

"A congratulations cake!" Skystar said.

Both guards at the gates were confused. A towering wedding cake was being hauled by the ponies.

"You know, to congratulate him from taking over Equestria?"

"Yeah, he didn't order a cake."

"Have a nice day."

"Okay, time to move onto Plan B." Sky said.

"What? Plan B?"

The pirates busted themselves out of the cake. They killed the Storm Guards at the entrance and made their way past the gates.

"Whoa, kind of violent don't you think?" Party said.

"Come on!" Dawn shouted as she followed the pirates.

"Fear not, Canterlot! For we will-"

Everyone was fine. No creature was turned into a slave or caged.

"Why are you sitting around and doing nothing?" Dawn shouted. "The Storm King has taken over Canterlot!"

"Hey, aren't you princess Dawn Shining?" One of the ponies said.

"Dawn, if you just understand what the Storm King wants-"

"No time! We need to liberate this place!"

The pirates continued killing Storm Guards who weren't doing anything to the ponies.

"Oh no, I think they're taking it too far." One pony said with concern.

The group burst into the doors just in time. Capper was there.

"Capper! We're here to rescue you!" Dasher said.

"Wait, Dasher! Let me explain what's going on-"

"No time! Where's the Storm King! I want to deal with him!" Dawn said.

"But that's the thing. The Storm King wants revenge for-"

Capper was shoved out of the way.

Casually sipping his tea, the Storm King expected Dawn and his friends as they arrived in the castle.

"I've been expecting you."

"Give it up, Storm King! You are no match for the power of friendship!"

"Friendship? I did not expect friendship to stop me. Do you want to know something about me? Take a look at this."

The Storm King had a long staff of magic in his hands.

"Sacana. Creatures fear it. I can now avenge my dead wife. By exposing the mare responsible!"

With a blast of its magic, the Storm King revealed the truth to everyone. Dawn was the mare responsible for the Storm Queen's death.

"So, the creature that killed my wife is standing here in front of me." The Storm King summarized.

"Dasher! Now!"

The Storm King was met with a surprise tackle from Dasher.

"Fly my pretties!" Shy Fly said, calling a swarm of geese to swarm the Storm King.

"Surprise!" Party said, blasting a bazooka of confetti.

Horseshoe lassoed the Storm King down on the ground. Dawn now had Sacana.

"Now Storm King, you must face the punishment that is friendship."

"You don't understand, your fall will come, I know what you did-"

"Bored!" Dawn said, finishing him off.

At the blast of Sacana, The Storm King was finished. At the same time, Dawn experienced a vision. A pony, with the eyes of the Storm King, would rise against her.

"Dawn!"

Dawn awoke.

"You did it! The Storm King is dead!" Dasher cheered.

"We did it! We did it!" Party cheered.

Dawn wasn't finished yet. As she made her way outside with the staff in hand, the Storm Soldiers surrendered to everyone. Dawn finished one of them off with no mercy.

"Dawn, how could you..." Capper said.

Capper threatened into silence as Dawn held the staff in front of his face. She freed her superiors, three other ponies who were like her, Solas, Lunis, and Crystal. As with her, they did not treat kindly to the Storm Soldiers. They silently nodded as Dawn finished off the prisoners.

"Dawn, what are you..." Capper began.

"We're taking back everything," Dawn said.

"You can't do that!" Capper said. "This isn't what friendship supposed to be!"

Without warning, Capper was turned to ash by Sacana.

"We need to keep this out of the wrong hands," Dawn said.

Sacana was split into three pieces. The staff part will be kept by Crystal. The orb on top will be held by Sky and the hippogriffs. The magic essence of the staff will be kept in a spellbook hidden away in Mount Aris. The other ponies were too afraid to speak up.

DAYS LATER...

Dawn traveled with Lunis, Solas, and Crystal to the Storm Realm.

"If I had my studies correct, they have a son who is also a pony," Dawn said. "Oh, they will pay. Friendship is magic."

YEARS LATER...

Everyone in the Storm Realm was just doing their normal thing until they heard a sound.

"Surprise!" A voice called.

A large swarm of creatures from all over the lands launched their attack on the Storm Realm.

"Storm soldiers, defend our home!" Leon ordered.

Soldiers were called in to combat the creatures. They soon realized that Lunis and Solas were among the attacking force. But they weren't leading the assault.

"Hello!"

A chimera-like creature appeared from behind the Storm Soldiers.

"What the?"

"Open fire!"

A protective shield blocked the bullets from hitting the chimera.

"Yawn! Boring!" The chimera said.

Changing his normal look into a Rambo-like outfit, he murdered every Storm Soldier and civilian surrounding him.

"There's too many of them!" Angel said.

"We have to flee!" Connor added.

"Hope this works," Leon said, readying Sacana.

In a flash, the three escaped, leaving the city to the invaders.
