In case you did not see the note last chapter, this is a SCP crossover one-shot that was voted for after we reached a donation goal on my twitch stream. I plan on uploading a normal Shadow Monarch chapter alongside this one, so that no one's getting left out here. It should be noted that this is not canon at all, and is merely for a bit of fun, though for context I'd say this takes place just before Izuku and the others leave for I-Island. If you want to skip it and continue onto the "main show" you can do so without having to worry about missing anything. One last thing that I'd like to add is that while I have read a bunch of the SCP files and watched plenty of videos on the universe, I'm not super well versed on the more technical aspects, so if you're a huge SCP fan, sorry if I mess some things up! These are just a few of my favorite ones that I thought I'd like to see interactions with. Enjoy!

"Alright!" Izuku shouted, "Wrap it up!"

Three dozen Shadows emerged from the Gate behind him, carrying loads of Mana crystals and other monster materials.

"Hey Boss," Kaminari said, walking over to Izuku, "There's some government looking people here to talk to you." The teen had participated in the beginning of the Raid, but like all the others present, Izuku had him leave in order to take on the Raid Boss solo. Kaminari hitched his thumb over his shoulder, pointing at a circle of people dressed in sharp business suits.

When focusing, Izuku could see a man in a lab coat, with a ruby necklace hanging to his chest, standing in the middle of that circle. Izuku wasted no time discarding the visual effects of his armor and walking over, his classic hoodie fluttering in the wind.

"Can I help you guys?"

"Izuku Midoriya?" The woman in front asked.

"Yeah."

"My name is Grace Pelosky. We're here on request of the United Nations," She held up a badge. It looked legit, "My team was asked to escort you."

"Escort me to…" Izuku trailed off, hoping she would complete the sentence.

"Everything pertaining to this request is completely top secret, we can only discuss the specifics once we are in a quieter location."

Izuku's Sense Stat told him a very important piece of information,"Hmm… they lied about their position in the UN, but not about the mission? Should I take them down now?" Izuku paused for a moment, "Then again, it's not like they could hurt me, I barely sense any Mana from these people. So then what do they want?" Slowly but surely, Izuku's curiosity overwhelmed him and he sent off a quick text to Yaoyorozu, letting her know what was happening. Then, he looked up with a smile, "After you."

The crowd surrounding the barricade that fenced off the Gate, mostly reporters following Izuku around doing whatever they could to get an interesting scoop, began snapping photos and looking on with interest as Japan's strongest Hero followed the government agents. His hands were in his pocket and a calm wind danced in his eyes, there was no way they were going to be able to spin this into a tale where Izuku was in trouble with the government. It was a complete shame for the tabloids.

Izuku took a seat inside the black SUV, The two front seats of the car faced forwards, but the four back seats faced each other. It allowed him to finally get a good look at the guy in the lab coat.

She had long black hair, grey eyes, and… a look in those eyes told Izuku something very important about her.

"You familiar with death?" He asked bluntly as the car began moving.

"Izuku Midoriya, this is Dr. Jack Bright," The woman ignored his question, "He'll be guiding you throu-"

"He'll?" Izuku asked out of instinct before realizing how rude he sounded, "Sorry… that was-"

"A very important question," Jack said. "I am a man in a woman's body, but not in the sense you may be used to."

Izuku tilted his head, "You may be surprised with what I'm used to."

"Right… Kinda forgot about SCPs-6317 through 6331."

Izuku did the math in his head, "If these numbers indicate a certain identifying system, then you just spoke of fifteen of em. I'm assuming you're leaving my number out. How much do you know about the Monarchs and Rulers?"

Jack smiled, "Less than you. More than just about everyone else."

Grace, sitting next to him seemed to notice the conversation drifting into the supernatural. "Mister Midoriya-"

"Just Midoriya please."

"...Midoriya, we are not from the UN."

He chuckled, "That much I know."

Grace gave a wry smile, "Right, well… we're actually part of a secret organization known as the SCP Foundation. We deal with all the weird shit that the public will never know about."

"Then how come I never heard about you when the Gates started popping up?"

"The… The Foundation did its best to handle the Gate situation, but before we knew it, they were appearing in more places than we could handle. Since we needed Awakened to deal with them, our higher ups decided that the Gates should no longer be considered anomalous and we were only to intervene if one of those Gates became… extra… anomalous."

"So then I'm guessing you found one of those extra anomalous Gates? Is that why you picked me up?"

Jack took the question, "The Foundation is home to thousands of different anomalies. Some are living beings and some are objects, like this necklace I'm wearing."

"Should I be concerned by that?" Izuku asked, still unsure as to what exactly anomalies were… they sounded dangerous.

"No. It's actually the reason I'm a man in a woman's body."

Izuku raised an eyebrow, "It transmitted your consciousness?"

"It does that to whoever touches the talisman."

"A form of immortality… neat."

Jack squinted and pursed his (?) lips, "Yeah…"

"As to your question of being brought in. Well, the Foundation has deemed you an asset to humanity and your unique powers are kept hidden under the identity of Re-Awakening. It's no secret that Re-Awakenings give people impossibly special abilities. For that reason, you were never brought into the facility to be watched over."

Izuku smiled, "I don't think you could bring me in, unless I allowed it."

Grace nodded, "That is up for debate. However, until recently, it was assumed that your powers revolved around calling forth a mass amount of Summons. We were unaware that they were called forth from corpses."

"You took interest in me… not because I swiftly became one of the strongest Heroes in the world, or because I'm hosting a literal god inside me… but because I'm a Necromancer?"

"We've dealt with gods before. They're scary, but nothing special anymore. We're more interested in the whole, brought back from the dead thing." She now flashed her real badge, "Mobile Task Force Psi-8. My task force was specially designed for dealing with reanimation anomalies. A few of the lab boys," She hitched her thumb at Jack, "Including this one, want to see how a few of our anomalies react to your Shadows and yourself."

"We're… also quite curious about the possibility of you killing a few of them."

"Well, I won't know if I can kill em till I'm fighting them."

"Our motto is Secure. Contain. Protect-"

"Very catchy."

"The goal of the Foundation is not to eliminate every SCP we find," Grace explained, "Only a particular few who pose that great of a threat."

"So what are we talking? Gods? Monsters? Demons… Angels?" Izuku shrugged, "I'm actually fairly familiar with killing Angels."

"A lizard," Jack answered simply.

"You're joking…"

"Nope. But that visit is later down the line. First things first… you said you were familiar with killing Angels… any chance you're willing to talk to them?"

It took one private plane ride and two helicopters, but before long they ended up in a dense forest, somewhere in Europe. They wouldn't tell Izuku where. Though, he felt mostly comforted upon noticing that Jack himself also looked a little lost. After getting on the jet plane, they ditched the other Agents accompanying them, so for now, there were only three of them in the forest clearing.

"Where are we?" Jack asked, "I don't know of any sites in a forest like this."

"Because for today, only four Foundation members know of it's location. You and me are two of them."

Jack's face went pale, "We're at Site-0?! You really thought it was a good idea to try and start something between him," He pointed at Izuku, "And the Gate Guardian?!"

"I didn't think anything. The admin ordered us here."

"What, they want to start an XK scenario?"

"Come on Jack, don't be a pussy." Grace shouldered a bag and began walking into the trees, Jack following behind, neither of them noticing as two Shadows slipped into theirs.

"One Angel Knight, slip out, find wherever we are." Once Izuku was certain that the Angel made it away without being spotted, he asked, "So… what's the Gate Guardian?"

"SCP-001. Massive flaming Angel with an even fiery sword," Jack responded, "A hell of a lot of the file is redacted, at least at my level of clearance, but the general consensus is that anything it does could be an indication of an end-of-the-world-scenario."

"And you want to provoke it?"

"Hell no!" Jack answered quickly, "Though, I wouldn't mind going within a few feet of it."

Izuku ignored that comment, "Tatsuya, Hinata." The two Shadows popped up, "You guys ever heard of a "Gate Guardian?""

"No, my Liege."

"Well since Esil is on Eri-duty. You two will accompany me to whatever it is."

After about ten minutes of walking, they emerged into a ten-kilometer wide clearing, the same one Izuku had seen from the final helicopter ride. He questioned why no one else knew about it, but the Foundation probably had some crazy way of keeping people away.

On the edge of the clearing, there was a rather large and sturdy concrete building. At the center of the clearing, if Izuku focused hard enough, he could see a very tall burning figure.

Without warning, a voice blared from the concrete building. "SCP-6316," The voice was garbled and coming from a few different points, but it was unmistakably directed at Izuku, "We respectfully request that you approach SCP-001, first with your Summons and then yourself. Dr. Bright and MFT Psi-8-1 will accompany you, but not within one kilometer."

"A kilometer? That's a pretty big safe distance."

"It's a pretty big flaming dude."

Izuku shrugged and called Glaedr, hopping up to the dragon and lifting the other two up with Ruler's Authority. "Sorry, but I'm not walking that far."

"I was hoping you were going to say that."

"I cannot believe this," Jack said, peering down some binoculars. "He's talking to the damn thing."

The flaming Angel had its sword planted in the earth, looking down at Izuku as unintelligible words left its mouth. They had placed a listening device on Izuku, but it appeared that only Izuku and his Shadows could understand SCP-001.

After around a full hour, Izuku came running back, a carefree smile on his face, "I expected something much weirder to be honest… or more deadly."

"What did he say?!" Jack asked, incensed by the new development.

"He said, "Wingdings.""

"...What?"

Izuku squinted, "You heard me, Wingdings."

"Uhhhh."

"What?"

"Midoriya, you're just saying Wingdings."

"I'm not saying Wingdings I'm saying Wingdings."

"Okay… let's just move onto the next one."

On the way to a location the two called Site-19, they passed over another Foundation site, where Grace said, "Drop your strongest Shadow down there. The Foundation members will lead it to something we want dead."

"Which is?"

"The Lizard of course." Jack smiled at Izuku confusion, "It's basically unkillable. We want to see if something you have will work on it."

Izuku shrugged, "Beru." The ant dropped out of the helicopter, Izuku looking through his eyes as he descended and landed in front of the facility, where the employees let him in. "So then who are we going to see?"

"The Plague Doctor," Jack said, waving his hands around as he enunciated each syllable with a bit of "spookiness."

"Now this feels a lot more like a secret organization's headquarters," Izuku said as he walked through the pristine white halls of an underground facility. Bordering the hallways were dozens of holding cells or more hallways leading to more cells.

"Not really our headquarters," Grace objected, "But yeah, this is more common for us than Site-0. Stop here."

They halted directly in front of a human sized door, flanked by two guards with automatic weapons.

"Okay, the only thing you need to know is, don't touch the guy and don't let him touch you."

Izuku raised an eyebrow, "So then… what am I doing here?"

"We just want you to talk to him. A god of death is certain to get an interesting reaction from him."

"Interesting how?"

"Don't worry, you'll be fine, his restraints keep him to one side of the room."

Without further ado, the guards opened the door, and let him into the somewhat dark and gloomy room. Of course, with Izuku's eyesight, he had no trouble making out the details. On his half of the room, there was nothing, it was the same pristine white floors, walls, and ceiling, completely devoid of any furnishings. The other side of the room, however, was home to an old wooden desk and a metal autopsy table, freshly cleaned off. It was also home to a humanoid figure, wearing the garb of a medieval plague doctor.

"You are not Doctor Hamm," The figure said with a slight french accent, "Who are you?"

Izuku wasn't expecting such a human response, so it took him a moment before saying, "Izuku Midoriya."

"No, no, I asked for your identity, not your name."

Remembering what Jack said about the doctor's reaction to a god of death, Izuku decided to be direct and said, "I'm the Shadow Monarch."

The figure was shocked into silence for a full thirty seconds before saying, "No, I do not believe that to be the truth. None of the Shadow Monarch's kind smell of the Pestilence. You reek of it."

"Igris," Was all Izuku said and the Knight appeared out of the ground, once again stunning the man into silence.

"C-Could it be? You are human… yet you have discovered the perfect cure to the Pestilence!"

"What's the Pestilence?"

"The bane of all men, the worst reality of reality."

"That… doesn't clear much up."

"If you were truly the Shadow Monarch, you would understand my plight."

Izuku sighed, "I am the Shadow Monarch. Does this," He gestured to Igris, "Not prove that?"

"No… it does not. This is the perfect specimen for study. You are not. You are filled with the stench of the Pestilence. It fills my nostrils, my lab, with your repugnant scent. Because of that, I must kill you."

"From all the way over there? I don't thin-" The chains connecting the plague doctor to the wall snapped and he rushed at Izuku, his hand outstretched.

To a normal human, he was fast, to Izuku, it was like he wasn't moving at all. He wasn't certain how seriously he should take Grace's warning, but, just in case, his hand reached into the air, freezing the anomaly in place with his telekinetic abilities.

At the same time, the guards rushed inside, aiming their rifles at the doctor as Izuku moved him back towards his side of the room.

"You cannot stop it! Maybe tomorrow, maybe two years from now! It does not matter! The Pestilence will come for you and those you love! And you will not be able to stop it without me!"

Grace pulled Izuku out of the room as the guards once more chained up the plague doctor. "Sorry about that… we didn't know he would react in that way. We thought he would worship you or something."

Izuku shook his head, a feeling of unease in his chest, "I-It's okay. So… who's next?"

"Well, the Foundation calls them SCP-073 and SCP-076. Their real names… are Cain and Able."

To be continued…?

Thanks for reading this kinda odd chapter! I cut it shorter than I would've liked, mostly because I found it harder to write than I thought it would be, which is why I ended it with a to be continued. If you guys really liked this chapter and wanted to see more, then I might write more of this little side story, so let me know what you want! Regardless, in case you didn't catch it in the note above, I'm uploading a normal chapter alongside this just so you guys aren't missing out on the main story!
