Sirena's p.o.v:
Laying comfortably, in the comfort of my own bed, when I felt a warm, heavy arm around my waist. Moving around, just a little bit, when I felt the arm, pull me closer to my body and hold me tighter. Struggling to get free, I just gave up, there was no use. Sighing, I just laid in my spot in bed, as a hostage, when I heard a chuckle and felt kisses being peppered on my shoulder blade. Turning around, I was face to face to a sleeping Arthur, who had his hair all over the place and a smile on his face. Smirking, I gently rested on my elbows and leaned over and placed a kiss on his lips, as a moan erupted in his throat and escaped his mouth. Placing another kiss on his lips, as his mustache tickled my nose, when I felt his arms tighten around my waist and flip us over, making me squeal. Kissing down my neck and back up to my lips. "Good morning." I mumbled against his lips. Pulling away and looking down at me, "morning." Arthur answered back with a smile and buried his head, into my neck. Letting out a chuckle, "it's time to get up." I said, trying to push him off, but he latched onto my neck. Lifting his head, "how about another round?" Arthur said, wiggling his eyebrows. "How about we-ohhhhh!" I was cut off, by Arthur disappearing underneath the blankets.
After this morning's activities, I was in the kitchen, finishing breakfast and messaging Kai, letting him know that I was finally home and I brought someone home that I wanted him to meet. I felt Arthur wrap his arms around my waist, "you're very clingy this morning." I said, trying to walk towards the kitchen table, but it's hard when you have a two hundred and something pound Half Atlantean, hanging on to you. He only shrugged and let go of me and went to go sit down. "So, have you heard from The Kid?" Arthur asked, taking a drink of his coffee as I glared at him. "His name is Kai and yes. I told him that I was home and I brought someone home. He will most likely be at the beach today, with some friends." I clarified, digging into my food. Looking up with a raised eyebrow, I noticed a nervous look on Arthur's face, "what's wrong?" I asked. Breaking out of his thoughts, "what if he doesn't like me? What if he starts asking me, where I was the whole time?" he asked, worriedly. "He wouldn't. I've already told him, so just be yourself." I reassured him. When Kai brought up the subject of where Arthur was and wanted to know why he wasn't living with us, I wasn't like any parent and sugarcoated the truth or lied, I told him the truth. I told him why Arthur and I weren't together, why we split up and how. For a kid his age, at the time, he was very understanding and accepted the truth, but I told him when he's old enough, he could go and find Arthur and start a relationship with him. Arthur looked at me with a raised eyebrow, "you told him?" he questioned and I nodded my head. "Yeah, I wasn't going to sugarcoat anything with him. I also told him that when he's old enough, he can go and look for you." I answered, shrugging my shoulders.
Arthur's p.o.v:
After eating breakfast and got dressed, Si was talking to The Kid and asking him where he was. Staring at her, as she was finishing up the phone call, Sirena looked up at me, "what?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. "What did he say?" I asked, wondering what he said to her. Shrugging her shoulders, "he was happy I was home and like I told you, he's at the beach with some friends." Sirena answered, making me nod my head. Squinting her eyes at me, "you're nervous. Don't be." she said, walking towards the bedroom, as I followed her. "I'm not nervous!" I argued, making Sirena turn around and look at me. "Oh really? What if I told you, we're going to meet Kai at the beach?" she stated, making me tense up. "HA! You are nervous!" she cried out, making me roll my eyes, "whatever." I muttered, walking away.
Walking down the street, towards the beach, my nerves were getting out of control. "Relax, will ya'." Sirena said, looking over at me. "I am relaxed!" I screeched, making Sirena slap me across the face. "You will knock it off, right now! Kai is not a judgmental little shit, of a teenager, so calm the fuck down and man the fuck up!" she encouraged, smacking once again on the side of my head, making, me roll my eyes. The smell of the ocean filled my nose, as we got closer, I noticed a few people on the beach and a group of teenagers, hanging around. Walking closer to the group of teens, Sirena starts shouting out, for one of them, "Kai!!" Sirena called out, as beanie covered head, looked around and looked in our direction. A kid stood up and started running towards us and my heart was racing and about to pop out of my chest. Sirena met him halfway and hugged him, while I stood, awkwardly, in my place. Walking back over to me, "Kai, I want you to meet your father, Arthur." she stated, making me look up. I stared into a pair of pale green eyes, staring back into my gold eyes. "Arthur, I want you to meet your son, Kai." Sirena spoke up. A smile appeared on The Kid's face, as he crushed me into a bear hug. Still in shock, I slowly wrapped my arms around him, "it's good, to finally meet you." I muttered, looking over to Sirena, who had a smile on his face. This is my kid, this is my family. Why the fuck was I a total idiot, to listen to some bullshit??!!!
