Peter awoke to turbulence on the helicopter. As he looked around, his new penguin friends were fast asleep. The soldiers that rescued them gave slight nods to each other. The pilot flipped a red switch that covered the windows of the helicopter. The helicopter violently shook, but the penguins didn't wake up.

"Hey! What's happening?" Peter called.

"Don't worry, we're going to be fine!" The pilot said.

Another set of turbulence sent Peter's head hitting the wall, knocking him out.

"Hey, he's waking up."

Luckily, the helicopter did not crash. Peter found himself with his penguin friends still alive and well. As the group made their way off, the soldiers were waiting for them. It looked like they had something to admit.

"So what's the big news?" Clementine asked.

All of the soldiers pulled their face coverings off, revealing themselves as furry creatures.

"Pokemon?" Peter gasped.

"So we're creatures called Pokemon." An Aipom disguised as a soldier said.

"Okay, I'm getting lost here." Lazuli said.

"You see, we got your message calling for help."

"But that doesn't make any sense," Peter said. "How are you able to fly a helicopter?"

"It's not that hard."

"Oh. I guess for you. But Pokemon like you can't talk."

"We can actually, it's just that to a lot of people it sounded like we can only say our names."

"Makes sense. But wait, how can I, a human, understand you? I must have schizophrenia."

"So who are you guys?" Lazuli asked.

"We're a rescue team, dedicated to helping out Pokemon around. So what kind of Pokemon are you?"

"Uh..." Kim began.

"Eiscue!" Peter immediately answered.

"And what kind of Pokemon is this one?" A Pikachu said to Swirls.

"Um, I'm a Puffle." Swirls said.

"Never heard of a Puffle." The Pikachu said.

Peter was still taking the time to process everything in his head. He had just landed in a world of talking Pokemon.

"Hey, Peter! Aren't you going to come with us!" Clem shouted as the Pokemon led them away.

"Coming!"

The group arrived at the town square.

"Make yourselves at home." The Pikachu said.

As the rescue team left, the group went to explore the area.

"Mom! They have a gift shop!" Clem said.

"Wait, Clem!" Lazuli said.

Kim went to relax with the older Pokemon at the hot spring.

"I guess that leaves you and me then," Peter said to Dane and Swirls.

"Let's go!" Swirls said.

The three went to explore the town. Many of the small Pokemon was chasing and playing tag with the other smaller Pokemon. The bigger Pokemon stood in the background, staring at the three.

"Just passing by." Swirls said.

The group returned to Lazuli, Kim, and Clem a few hours later.

"We haven't got any money." Lazuli said.

"Then we need to earn money," Peter said.

There were job listings on the board in the center of town. Peter picked one randomly.

"Help! I'm trapped in Brine Cave! Please rescue me." He read.

"Um, how would this creature be in trouble if he or she is already in danger?" Swirls asked.

Peter sighed. "Let's just go rescue this Pokemon. Anyone want to come with me?"

Brine Cave was located at the seaside. The group studied the rewards once more.

"Okay, 500 Pokecoins," Peter said. "Let's do this."

The group started their way in.

"Wait a minute..." Peter realized.

They didn't know how to fight against the rouge Pokemon. The group decided to sneak past them while reaching their target. By the time they reached the bottom floor, they noticed an unconscious Caterpie.

"Could this be the Pokemon we're trying to rescue?" Swirls asked.

Peter quietly picked her up. "Let's get out of here."

Caterpie awoke to find the group standing next to her outside the cave.

"Thank you so much for rescuing me!" She said.

"Okay, we rescued you, where's our reward?" Peter asked.

Caterpie gave Peter a small bag of Pokecoins. As she went her way, Peter counted the money.

"It's 500 coins alright."

The coins were enough to get them a small room at a hotel.

THE NEXT MORNING...

The group awoke to a Loudred yelling at them.

"Ugh, good morning, Dane." Swirls groaned.

As the group got outside, Peter was ready to state the obvious.

"We need to buy a house of our own."

"But we don't have any money." Lazuli said.

The group returned to the Town Square to find a bunch of Pokemon praying.

"What are they doing?" Clem asked.

A statue of Arceus was what the Pokemon was worshiping. Every Pokemon then left it alone after a few minutes.

"I don't see why they're worshipping a statue," Clem said as the group got up.

Peter went over to touch the statue. A Sylveon surprised them from behind one of the statue's legs.

"Gah!"

The Sylveon laughed. "You were so scared!"

"Was not!"

"Was too! You shrieked. You disrupted our great lord Arceus! You will be cursed!"

Normally, Peter would brush it off, but as an avid watcher of cartoons, he was still shaken a little bit.

"Okay, how do I remove this curse?" He asked.

"Follow me!"

Peter and the penguin family followed Sylveon to her home. 7 other Eeveelutions went out to greet her. An Eevee also went out too.

"How does this remove the curse?" Peter asked.

"You have to kiss them!"

"What the? Beastiality!"

Sylveon waved her ribbons as if she was going to apply another curse. Peter was forced to comply.

"This is so awkward."

Eevee, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Glaceon all gave him kisses.

"Is that it?" Peter groaned.

"Nope! There's me!"

Sylveon dog-piled him and gave him a lot of dog kisses. She then lept on Peter several times, knocking him unconscious.

Peter awoke. He noticed Sylveon looking bigger than normal. The penguins walking him up looked larger than him too. He then looked at his hand, there was no hand. But a blue paw. He went to a mirror in the house. He was no longer a human. Instead, he was a Riolu.

"Not again!" He yelled.

"Huh? What does he mean by not again?" Clem asked.

"Okay, Sylveon! What did you do to me?" Peter stated.

"I have cursed you to turn you into a Pokemon!"

"But pokemon like you don't give curses. Unless you're a ghost-type. Which you aren't!"

"Yeah, I'm a fairy type," Sylveon said.

"How do I change back?"

"Ooh, sorry. I can't help with that." Sylveon teased.

"Figures. Let's go."

The group turned to leave.

"I can't believe that I'm turned into a Pokemon!" Peter said with disbelief. "Whatever I did to Arceus, he must hate me now!"

"Shouldn't you be mad at the creature that cursed you?" Lazuli said.

"I doubt that she has magic powers. She's a fairy-type yes, but Fairy-type Pokemon don't put curses on other creatures!"

"Hey!" A voice called.

It was the Eevee staying with the Eeveelutions.

"I'm sorry my sister cursed you." She said. "But she doesn't apply curses. Sylveon is only teasing you."

"Teasing me?"

"I don't know why you turned into a Pokemon, but I can help you get rid of the curse."

"You do?"

"You need to head east to find a special someone known as Idea Guy."

"Idea Guy? Who is he? Or she?" Peter asked.

The Eevee continued. "The Idea Guy is a spell-caster who masters a variety of spells."

"Can you lead us to him? Or her?"

"It's him. And yes, I will help you."

The group traveled for days. Thanks to his transformation as a Riolu, Peter learned the Pokemon's moves including Force Palm, Aura Sphere, Close Combat, and Rock Smash.

"Ok, The Idea Guy just lives in this city." Eevee said.

"I wonder if your family even misses you," Peter asked. "I mean, their kid sister has gone missing."

"Eh, I already talked to them that I was going with you guys."

"Why didn't I think of that?" Peter thought.

"We're here!" Swirls said.

The sign leading into the city shocked Peter.

"No, no, no, no!"
