"Come, Clarke. We don't want to keep them waiting." Lexa held her hand out for Clarke to take.

"Why do I feel so stressed out. This feeling I have don't know what or who it is." Clarke took her hand, walking over to her armor.

"Well, Echo is here; she can sniff out the culprit. Echo is the Azgeda spy after all." Lexa said, reaching over for her armor as well.

They leave their quarters to the mess hall, where everyone is waiting on them.

"Madi, what did I miss back at Polis?" Abby asked her granddaughter.

"I pulled a lot of pranks on Aunt Tavia!" Madi giggled, hugging her grandmother.

"That's because Leska told you to." Aden mentioned with a laugh.

"I knew it! I knew Lexa was behind it all." Octavia piped in.

"Octavia, how does it feel to be Aunt?" Abby asked, looking up at Octavia.

"It's exhausting at times, but I love it. Aden is more behaved than Madi. I'll give her a pass since she is younger than him." Octavia replied.

"Aunt Tavia is fearless! Like Klark and Leska!" Madi shouted with happiness.

"That's because Aunt Octavia grew a lot since she's been with Lexa's people. If all goes smoothly today, you may gain another Uncle too." Abby commented, looking back down at the little girl in her lap.

"Another Uncle? Who?" Madi looked at Abby and Octavia.

"My brother." Octavia said.

"You have a brother too?" Madi's eyes went big and excited to meet her brother.

"I do. Though hopefully, Bellamy realizes that Clarke is out of his reach and doesn't go after Lexa." Octavia replied, feeling worried about her brother.

"What did he do? Where is he now?" Madi asked.

"He's been in lock-up for murdering Lexa's warriors in their sleep. He's been in there for about a month now. Us coming here to Arkadia is for you to see your mother's home and for them to decide if he's worthy of being released. That is why Lexa has been overly protective of you two since we got here." Lincoln explained to his niece.

"Why didn't they tell me?" Madi asked, tears beading up in her eyes.

"They don't want you to worry and grow up in wartime, young Madi." Ivan mentioned.

Madi looks over at her guard, getting off her grandmother's lap running to her guard. Ivan picks up Madi, letting her lay against his shoulder, patting her back as she lets her tears out. Abby awes at the reaction.

"I didn't think the guards hold feelings too." Abby said.

"We don't. Every Nablita is assigned to guards once they arrive at Polis. Since Madi is Wanheda's daughter, we were selectively picked by Heda to watch over young Madi forever. We have grown fond of her free spirit. She lightens the serious moods around us." Sean explained, scanning the room looking to see if there is a threat.

"We've learned at a very young age not to have feelings for anyone. Clarke and Lexa are changing how we live for everyone else. Suppose they can do it sperate themselves from feelings and duties. We can too. Anything is capable if we hone our skills. Watching them do it all the time, makes it look easy." Lincoln explained, also scanning the room.

"It's hard to change one's ways to another. I understand it, Clarke has shown me that life should be more than just surviving." Abby replied, waiting for Madi to return to her.

"We survive first. Then, we live our life to the fullest. We have young Madi to thank for that." Ivan commented, looking over at Madi in his arms.

"Madi is special. She can change everyone." Aden announced, proud of his little sister.

"Your special too, Aden," Kane mentioned, putting a hand on his shoulder.

They all talk and have a few laughs here and there. Madi wiggles out of Ivan's hold, wanting to go back to her grandmother. Ivan passes Madi over to her grandmother's open arms.

"So, those are Clarke's kids?" Monty asked.

"Looks to be and heavily guarded too." Jasper replied, thinking of ways to get past the guards to the kids.

"They're cute. We'll make a cute a kid too, Monty." Harper said to Monty, with a kissy face.

"Get a room, you two." Raven responded, watching the interaction across the room.

Lexa and Clarke make their grand entrance into the Mess Hall, in their full commander get up. Showing everyone, they're in charge and mean business during their stay. Echo and Zaan are trailing behind them. Echo scanning the room for potential threats.

"Oh, look how fabulous they look. Clarke is such a badass." Harper mentioned watching them coming into the Mess Hall.

Madi looks over to see her mother finally joining them.

"Leska! Klark!" Madi shouted, sliding off Abby's lap running toward her mothers.

Jasper makes his move, gets up out of his seat, walking into the child on the way to get his food. They collided, Madi gets knocked down. Octavia quickly swoops in and picks her up, checking her over for any injuries.

"Jasper! Watch where you are going!" Octavia yelled at him, holding Madi close to her.

"I didn't see her there. Sorry." Jasper mumbled, rubbing the back of his head.

Echo watches the scene unfold in front of her. Clarke and Lexa are walking toward them, Lexa grabbing Madi out of Octavia's arms.

"I don't like you..." Madi said to Jasper, being switched over to Lexa from her Aunt.

"I said, I was sorry, kid. Geez..." Jasper said, walking away and feeling a heated stare from all the grounders in the room.

They take their seats with Abby, Kane, Lincoln, and Aden.

"I told you, I didn't have a good feeling about that guy. Madi knows it too." Echo leaned over, whispering into Octavia's ear.

"Echo, go to the other side of the room and observe." Lexa ordered seating, Madi in between herself and Clarke.

Echo nods and walks over to the side of the Mess Hall and watches everyone that seems suspicious to her
