3rd p.o.v

After meeting their son at the beach, Arthur and Sirena walked back home, as Kai stayed at the beach with his friends and he'll be home later. Walking around town, showing Arthur where things are and getting to know each other again. "Are you going to tell me, how you found out where I was or know where I was?" Sirena asked, as they strolled down the street and back to the apartment. "I asked Vulko. I asked him, a few years ago, to look for you. You popped up in my mind one day and I wanted to know where you were." Arthur answered, making Sirena nod her head. "So if Vulko knew where I was, then he probably knows about Kai." she stated, as they walked up the stairs to the apartment. Arthur shrugged, "I don't know. If he did, he would have told me as soon as he found out." he stated, walking through the door. Sirena turned around, placing her hands on her hips, "and what would you do? You didn't even give me a chance to explain to you why I was being so secretive in the first place." she stated, which was true. "I know and I'm sorry about it. I want to make it up and start over with you and the kid." Arthur assured Sirena, placing his hands on her shoulders. Sliding his hands down her side and grabbing onto her hips, "what time does the kid come home?" Arthur asked. Sirena raised, "not in a couple of hours. Why?" she answered, not knowing what's going through his head right now. A smirk grew on his face, he threw Sirena over his shoulder, "Arthur!" she cried out, as he made his way towards the bedroom.

Sirena's p.o.v

Freshening myself up, after Arthur and I's little activity, I walked into the kitchen and started preparing dinner, before Kai came home. Ohh lord, this is the first time we're going to have dinner, as a family, in so long. I didn't know why Arthur was so nervous about Kai not accepting him as his father, I'm just worried about what would happen when word gets to Atlantis that the Queen's half blood son has a son of his own, by an Atlantean. Getting lost in my thoughts, when I was broken out of it, by the front door opening and my name being called out. "Mom! I'm home." Kai called out. "In the kitchen!" I answered, as I continued with dinner. Hearing his footsteps coming towards the kitchen, "hey, Mom." he greeted. I smiled, "how was your time away from little old me?" I asked, as he grabbed something out of the fridge. "It was great! Threw a massive rager, that lasted until 3 in morning!" he said, as I dropped the knife and quickly turned around and saw that Kai had a smirk on his face. Noticing my reaction, he let out a chuckle, "I'm joking! I helped Uncle Bob and Aunt Rita with the bar and hung out with some friends." he explained. I nodded, "do you have any homework or extra credit to do?" I asked, as I was grabbing plates out of the cabinet. "All finished." Kai answered. "Alright. If you have any dirty laundry, grab them and put in the washer and after that, you can do whatever you want until I call you for dinner." I instructed, finishing setting the table. Kai nodded his head, "you got it. Uh, Is Dad still here?" Kai asked, making my heart skip a beat, when he called Arthur 'dad'. "Yeah, he's in the bedroom. I'll go get him, if you want me too." I answered, as he nodded his head, before walking away.

Checking the stove and turning it on low, I walked out of the kitchen and made my way to the bedroom, to check on Arthur. Opening the door, I saw that the room was a mess, clothes all over the place and Arthur's lazy ass, snoring. Grabbing a pillow from my side of the bed and hitting him on the head with it. Arthur shot up from his spot, ready to fight, until his eyes landed on me, "what is wrong with you?" he groaned. I smiled and threw the pillow back on the bed, "hello, sleepy head!" I said, as Arthur swung his legs over the side of the bed, with the blanket wrapped around his waist. "He's home?" he asked, rubbing his eyes. "Yeah. Now, get up and freshen up, your son wants to spend time and get to know you and dinner is almost ready. If you have dirty clothes, put them in a pile, so I can wash them." I explained, walking out of the room. Making my way back to the kitchen, I saw Kai playing video games in the living room, as I walked into the kitchen. A couple of minutes later, I heard heavy footsteps coming from the bedroom and into the living room, when I heard talking coming from the living room, which made me smile. Finishing up, I walked into the living room, "food is ready." I announced, as Kai turned off his game and Arthur and Kai walked into the kitchen, "Mom, is it true that you knocked out Superman?" Kai asked, making my eyes go wide, as I turned to look at Arthur, who was laughing.

After dinner, I had put the leftovers in the fridge and cleaned up the kitchen and Kai and finally put his clothes in the dryer, after I've told him multiple times. Teenagers. Walking into the living room, I sat down on the couch, in between Kai and Arthur and watched whatever they were watching. Kai laid his head on lap and I started running my finger through his hair, as Arthur wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer to him and continued to watch the movie. It felt good, having my family together, finally. My little family.
