Chapter 53 -

"Are we being serious here?" Harry just after Thor and Vison had left. "We are supposed to be cool with this because he lifted Thor's hammer? First of all I am at least ninety-five percent positive that Padfoot could lift the hammer."

"Woof?" Padfoot barked questioningly as he tilted his head to the side.

"Not the time," Harry said to Padfoot before turning back to the Avengers. "this is stupid. Just because he picked up the hammer doesn't mean we can trust him, it doesn't mean that he's a good guy, after all Vision isn't technically alive. No matter what anyone says, no matter how good Vision imitates life, he's just that: imitating life. He is the shattered remnants of Jarvis in a synthetic android body and even then when he picked up the hammer he was 'alive' for all of two fucking minutes, at most he was a child and children aren't good or evil, so are we really going to trust him?"

"I do," Tony spoke up. "he might be a creation of Ultron but Jarvis was a creation of mine, I trust him."

"Ultron is a creation of yours," Harry reminded her with a glare. "Vision is basically the grandchild of a threesome between yourself, Banner and a computer. What if he is just pretending to be on our side? Trying to get us to get our guard down so Ultron can take us out?"

"I don't think he was." Wanda spoke up in a quiet voice, she was barely loud enough to hear.

"What makes you think that?" Gwen asked.

"I...I looked inside his mind," Wanda said after a short pause. "he has no harmful or bad intentions towards any of you, he just wants to stop Ultron." She nearly lowered her gaze when Harry narrowed his eyes at her but she forced herself to meet his penetrating gaze.

"Harry," Steve spoke up next. "right now we don't have much time to waste, an ally is better than an enemy and we need all the help we can get right now."

"Fine." Harry all but growled. "But if this goes tits up - and not in the fun way - then I am going to reduce him into nothing before I break your arm...again." Harry warned.

"Noted," Steve nodded before he began speaking to the Avengers as a whole. "everyone get what you need, we are leaving as soon as possible." As everyone began leaving to get ready Harry made sure he caught up to Tony, Harry stopped him from walking by placing a hand on his shoulder.

"By the way, Tony," Harry whispered. "if you ever try - if you even think about trying - to pull the same shit that you pulled in that lab again then I promise you that we are going to have some serious problems." Harry said in a clear but low voice. Tony didn't say anything, but he did nod before he continued walking away.

"Are you okay?" Sif asked as she walked over to him, with Natasha following just behind her.

"I am fine," Harry said as he glanced at the Maximoff twins who were both standing a small distance away, just far enough to not be able to hear their conversation. "or at least I think I am. What about you two?" Harry asked.

"I'm fine." Sif nodded before she and Harry looked at Natasha.

"Surviving." Natasha said with a shrug.

"Good enough." Harry replied.

"Are you okay with the...you know..." Sif trailed off and gestured to Harry's head.

"I think I am," Harry nodded. "I believe I worked out what happened."

"What?" She asked while Natasha gave him a curious look.

"It's just a theory at the moment." Harry admitted.

"A theory is better than nothing." Natasha said before she gestured him to continue.

"Alright, well I know two types of mind based magic that are called 'legilimency' and 'occlumency'." Harry began explaining. "The former allows the user to - for a simple way of explaining things - read the minds of other people. That could be anything from surface thoughts to a person's deepest and darkest secrets. The second one is the opposite to the first, occlumency allows the user to protect their mind from legilimency. But it has also has several other benefits including improved memory, improved recall and it also allows the user to concentrate better and better 'deal' with their emotions.

I've been using it for years and years, ever since I was still a teenager in my old world. Whenever I thought an emotion was unproductive or a hinderance then I would use occlumency and that emotion would just 'wash away'. I could be angrier than that one time where my Uncle Vernon learned there was a woman's world cup but in the next second I could end up being as calm as I can be. My theory is that my occlumency did not really deal with my emotions as much as it pushed them aside, now that would be fine in the short term. But in the long term..."

"Your emotions would build up until they burst." Sif said slowly as realization hit her.

"Exactly," Harry nodded. "but I know the problem now, or at least I think I do, and I am hoping to work on it after we all deal with the Ultron shit. Now, I'd like to keep talking but we do have a crazy and genocidal robot to deal with."

"Fine, but we will be talking about this later." Natasha said in a firm voice while Sif nodded in agreement, it was clear that it was not a question or a request.

"Of that, I have no doubt." Harry replied, having already resigned himself to a long conversation with the two.

"Is everyone ready?" Cap asked as he stood in front of the Avengers while wearing his uniform, his shield on his back and his helmet in his hand.

"My suit is ready in the Quinjet." Tony nodded just as everyone else confirmed that they were ready.

"Wait a sec, is that my jacket?" Natasha frowned when she saw Wanda wearing a familiar looking red jacket.

"Oh boy." Gwen said under her breath.

"We're coming with you." Pietro said in a firm voice with Wanda nodding in agreement.

"I think we should take all the help we can get." Harry said, offering his opinion. They were going to fight an army of robots after all, there was no such thing as too much back up in a case like this. Besides, both Maximoff kids seemed to be able to handle themselves pretty well.

"That still doesn't explain the jacket." Natasha pointed out.

"Are we sure that that is a good idea?" Tony asked.

"Are you going to stop us?" Pietro said in a challenging voice.

"Look," Harry sighed before anyone can interrupt. "they are both valuable assets to the team and we are facing an actual army and they're not willing to let it go. They can handle themselves and we need the help, they both understand the risks...you do understand the risks, right?" Harry asked the twins.

"We do." Wanda said in a quiet voice as she nodded to him.

"Great, then let's go." Harry said before he walked to the Quinjet without waiting for a response. Padfoot followed after him, Natasha and Sif exchanged looks before they also followed after him, followed by the twins and then the rest of the Avengers, with the exception of Cap who was still standing in the same spot.

"Guess I have to give my speech in the jet then." Cap sighed before he quickly began moving so he could catch up with the others.

The Avengers all sat in the Quinjet as it flew to Sokovia, the twins were glad that the Avengers didn't voice any issues with them coming, it would have made for a rather awkward flight if they had. Everyone had their game face on as they mentally prepared themselves for Ultron.

"Stark," Harry spoke. "how far away are we?" He asked while he petted Padfoot.

"We're approaching Sokovia." Stark said as the twins each put in an ear piece so they could communicate with the other Avengers. "We should be there soon."

"Alright listen up," Cap said to the Avengers.

"What is he doing?" Wanda whispered to Harry.

"He is going to make a speech." Harry whispered back as he gestured to Steve so she would pay attention, what she did not see was Harry quickly wave his wand and create a silencing charm over himself. Harry would be the first to admit that Steve can make great speeches, but with that being said Harry would much more rather relax and think in silence than listen to speeches. Besides, Padfoot would tell him if he had missed anything important.

"Ultron knows we're coming." Cap continued, unaware that he had one less person in attendance. "The odd are that we are going to be riding into heavy fire, that's what we signed up for. The people of Sokovia, they didn't." Wanda and Pietro shifted slightly at those words, but both of them turned to look at Cap, and both were giving him their full attention. "So our priority is to get them out, keep them safe. All they want is to live their lives in peace, but that's not going to happen today. But we can do our best to protect them, and we can get the job done. We'll find out what Ultron is building and clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks that we're monsters, that we are what's wrong with this world, this isn't about beating him, it's about whether he's right." Cap said, he sat down after having finished his talk.

Padfoot tugged on Harry's leg, letting him know that the speech was over. Harry did a mental sigh before he cancelled the silencing spell.

"What did he say?" Harry whispered to Padfoot.

"Woof, woof." Padfoot barked.

"Hmm, fair enough." Harry said as he petted Padfoot's head. "Hey guys, has anyone been in contact with the Sokovian government yet?" Harry asked as he looked around the Quinjet.

"Yes," Bruce nodded. "but I don't know what they plan to do. I tried to make them see how serious it was and I know that Fury's probably contacting them if he hasn't already done it. But I'm not sure if they're doing anything or if they can do anything in time. Fury has likely come up with some way to help, so we will have to wait for a while until he's able to do something."

"Fury?" Wanda spoke in a questioning voice.

"Who is this Fury?" Pietro asked.

"The leader of Shield," Natasha answered. "he's a good man. We can all but guarantee that he is sending some form of help to assist us. "

"Most likely, but you've got to remember that Shield isn't really the same as it was before." Harry pointed out.

"What do you mean?" Wanda asked.

"A while back a secret organization know as 'Hydra' had infiltrated Shield," Harry began explaining. "me and Fury were able to catch most members of Hydra, but there was a lot of them and they were in a lot of different parts of Shield. Thanks to our discovery there is a lot less people working for Shield, I can only hope that Shield has recovered by now."

"This is an interesting conversation, but it is also a conversation for another time." Cap spoke up. "We are nearly there. Stark, you said you wanted first crack at Ultron." Cap said as he glanced at Tony who nodded in confirmation. "You'll get it, take Vision with you, the two of you remember the plan right?"

"Like we had gone over it at least ten times," Tony said in a dry voice. "what about you?" Tony asked Vision.

"I do remember." Vision nodded. "I...I do think it is a shame that we are unable to convince Ultron that he would be better suited to changing his ways.

"If someone doesn't want to change then they won't, and we're not going to risk lives on a lost cause." Harry said as he stared at Vision.

"You still do not trust me?" Vision asked.

"You haven't yet given me a good reason to trust you." Harry reminded him.

"I understand, I only hope that I can prove myself to you."

"The rest of us will be focusing on taking out the Ultron bots and helping the people." Cap continued, bringing the conversation back on topic. "Remember to stay in contact with each other. If any of you see anything you think could be important then don't hesitate to point it out."

"You think we can win so easily?" Pietro asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"It won't be easy." Cap said instantly.

"It's never easy," Harry added in an annoyed voice. "it is irritatingly always the opposite of easy. if it was then everyone would do it. You just have to decide if you think it's worth the effort. Do you?"

"Yes, I do." Pietro said instantly.

"Then you'll be fine." Harry said. "How about you?" Harry asked Wanda.

"I do." She nodded, thought not as fast as Pietro.

"Are you sure?" Harry asked, "because this is your last chance to back out?"

"No," Wanda shook her head. "we're staying." She said, she could not allow Ultron's plan to work, she just couldn't.

Eventually the jet landed and the Avenger's walked out, they looked around and didn't see anything wrong, not yet at least. Cap was about to put his helmet on just as Harry was about to put his hood up and mask on but they both paused when they saw several bits of insulting graffiti that were not nice to say the least. The graffiti was of them with several word sprayed over their faces, including 'fascist'. Harry and Cap exchanged looks, that particularly hurt the two seeing as they had both fought for freedom all of their lives.

Both brushed it off though, there was a time and a place to be upset, now was not it. Harry decided to leave the hood and mask while Cap tossed his helmet back into the Jet.

"Alright, time to get these people out of here." Harry said. The others nodded, Stark and Vision flew off into the air along with Thor and Harry, Pietro rushed off while Banner stayed by the jet, waiting for trouble to start before he began hulking out. Padfoot and the others began moving off on foot.

A while later the night began clearing up and the Avenger's were still evacuating civilians even though there was still noticeably less people. They all knew that a fight could break out within moments, and were ready for it to start soon.

"Anyone got eyes on Ultron yet?" Harry asked the group using his communication device.

"Not yet." Pietro replied. "Still evacuating the people."

"No luck so far." Cap's voice responded.

"Not a single peak." Natasha added.

"I can't be the only one who finds the silence to be worrying." Sif commented.

"Enjoy it while you can," Harry replied. "I get the feeling that it will end up being very loud soon."

"Got him, he's in the church, heading there now." Tony replied.

"I am also heading there." Vision replied.

"Good luck with that." Harry said as he continued helping with the evacuation.

A few seconds later the peace was finally broken when an army of Ultron soldiers began flying in from the skies and rising out of the ground. The people of Sokovia began running and fleeing in terror.

A.N: Hey guys, hope you liked the chapter. There are three main things I want to talk about.

Number one: Pairing.

Right now the pairing is Harry/Natasha/Sif. And I am in a situation where I want but also don't want to add three more women into the pairing:

Wanda - I didn't want to at first but Elizabeth Olsen is annoyingly pretty and adorable.

Gwen - I like her character, and she's a hot blonde, nuff said.

Hela - Master of Death and the Goddess of Death, what more needs to be said?

The problem is I don't want to make this a large harem and would prefer to either keep it as a trio or only add one or two more women (I want to keep it between 2 to 4 women), what do you guys think?

Number two: Pietro

Kill him off or let him live, what do you guys think? I feel like I can go either way on this.

Number three:

Now I've mentioned it before and I asked your opinions on it, a couple of people have pointed out that I can't legally make money off fanfic and if some people 'happened' to just throw money my way then that would be fine. I was wondering if I could just claim that is for a Youtube channel, then just occasionally upload a random but short video every couple of months while giving you guys the link to the page so anyone who wants to toss some green my way can do it on there.

Be honest, would that work? I'm hoping it would.

Anyway, thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed the chapter and the omakes that will follow, feel free to leave a review.

Omake 1:

"Tony, where is Morgan?" Pepper asked as she looked for her, she and Tony entered the next room where they found Harry and Natasha holding her.

"Our daughter now." They said at the same time before they teleported away.

Omake 2:

"Hey, look at this." Natasha said to Clint as she gestured to Sif who was walking towards Harry.

"What is happening?" Clint asked.

"Sif is going to try and seduce Harry," Natasha said with an amused smile. "I don't rate her chances, it took me ages and ages just to..."

"Okay." Harry's voice was heard from across the room. "Do you want to go now?" He offered.

"Yes." Sif smiled and took his hand before the two walked away.

"O...kay..." Natasha blinked as she struggled to process what had just happened. "What the fuck?!"

Omake 3:

"I've got a rooster." Harry smiled as he held up a male chicken.

"Why?" Tony frowned.

"I don't know why." Harry shrugged. "He's quite cute isn't he? I heard that male chickens are also called 'cocks'. That's a bit odd, isn't it?"

"Oh, can I see?" Bucky asked as he reached forward to touch it. Harry quickly backed away.

"Hey! Get your hands off my cock!" Harry yelled, the Avengers paused and turned to their left where they saw a bunch of reporters with news cameras looking at them.

"Great, now your cock is on TV." Natasha commented.
