I DON'T OWN NARUTO
Hi Novrier, thanks for the review, if you do see this: I know this story is rushed at the beginning and the writing is really, really bad at the start. I'm just copying this story from my Wattpad, when I first started writing, I had no idea on what to do really so yeah, I appreciate that you've been honest.
=Chapter 16: Plans=
=Somewhere in Konoha=
Hatake Kakashi was late.
Again.
And he was reading his favourite orange book, not taking care of the world around him. He wasn't going anywhere, he was just strolling round Konoha.
Truth be told, Danzo had summoned him to his office.
.
.
Two hours ago.
Yes, he was late on purpose though. Well he was always late on purpose but this time was a true late on purpose scheme. The way Danzo had been acting over the past few months, especially with Naruto's appearance had been quite stressful for the Jonin so he avoided Danzo as much as he could.
Well, he had a protective barrier around him of sorts. Danzo would probably kill anyone else but Kakashi was an exception. Kakashi was a good Jonin, elite in fact. So good, that he barely got any time to read his favourite book as Danzo kept sending him mission after mission. This was his position of power.
He kept on reading his smut before something flickered in front of him, an ANBU kneeling down. He finally put down his book and sent a questioning glare to the ANBU, already knowing what would happen.
"Taichou," the ANBU began, their voice trying to hold in a laughter. "Hokage-sama summons you. Again."
Kakashi nodded before actually making his way towards the Hokage Mansion, the walls leaning over him. He sighed, knowing what Danzo would want to talk about. Another one of his cute little Genin. Naruto was far above Genin level but alas, that was his rank in the ninja world.
He never really talked about that subject. Not after he supposedly died but the ninja had his suspicions. He turned his Sharingan on after the supposed 'death' but found a faint trace of chakra going up into the air and ending up somewhere outside of Konoha. He knew better than to interfere with it.
He walked down the extremely long winding corridors before ending up at the massive oak doors before the Hokage Office. Danzo really was flexing his power and Kakashi knew better than to burst in through the window.
The doors opened, revealing the elders of the village, Danzo himself and the ROOT and ANBU captains standing in the office. He stopped walking before the front of the desk, all eyes gazing on him.
"Thank you for arriving... two hours late," started Danzo, watching through his slightly open eye.
"I'm going to guess that you called me here to discuss my second rogue Genin?" responded Kakashi, remembering the time when Danzo interrogated him about Sasuke.
"Genin?" asked Homura, confused at this. Why would that person be a Genin? The second to the lowest. One of the weakest in the community.
"Never passed their Chunin Exams."
"Alright, onto why we called you here. We need you tell us everything that you know about the Kyuubi's Jinchuriki. Being his sensei, you should know his habits, weaknesses, strengths..." Danzo seemingly hesitated on 'strengths' but continued. "...and anything else along those lines so we can return him back to Konoha, under my protection."
Kakashi was getting enraged by this... monster. He didn't like how he treated Naruto, even all of his family. Even if Naruto was a rogue.
Danzo had some personal vendetta against the Uzumaki and Namikaze, probably because Minato got Hokage before him. Danzo made Naruto sound like an object, something to be sold and tossed around, not the man he really was. He really wanted to openly retaliate but decided against it. He had other ways of annoying them.
"I couldn't really tell much about him..." trailed of Kakashi, absent mindlessly staring out of the window. You could easily tell the care-free tone in his voice, even if you were an idiot.
"You must tell us. This is for the safety of the village!" yelled Koharu, red-faced and still having their eyes closed.
'Safety of the village, my ass.' "So you really want information that is most likely outdated, like Naruto's milk cartons? Information that is most likely incorrect to Kumo? I haven't even had a glimpse of my little rogue in the past two years, with no interaction whatsoever!" began Kakashi nonchalantly. He was starting to side with Naruto, he did want to get rid of Danzo.
"What do you mean Kakashi?" inquired Danzo, slightly confused.
The Jonin sighed and closed his eye for a second. Were they really that dumb and blinded? "Well, I said before. I don't know any of his weaknesses or new habits. He is something different now... something that he wasn't before. What else do you want me to say? Strengths?"
The three elders nodded, leaving Kakashi to sigh. He really wanted to get back to reading his smut.
"Well, he was trained by Jiraiya-sama and myself, knowing the Rasengan. He managed to add Wind Chakra to it, something even sensei was not able to do. He has mastered Sage Art and has a contract with the Toads. His new powers? I don't have a clue. He used to always be brash, headfirst and never thought ahead. He is now the leader of the Orange Flames, something calculated and patient. Not what he was-"
"Silence!" came Danzo's voice. He had had just enough, hearing about the powers of the brat. He had had enough about the Kyuubi and the Orange Flames. "You are dismissed and will be summoned for your next mission!"
He waited until the great doors shut, leaving him with the elders. "Send out Scout Squads 1-8."
=Mount Myoboku=

He closed the book and sighed, a smile appearing on his face. He had finally done it. He had made his star appearance. He quickly flicked over the rest of the pages until landing back on a certain Uchiha's page.
He scanned over it quickly, noticing nothing had changed. He sighed before re-sealing it back to wherever. Everything was so slowly falling into place, just like he had planned. The downfall of Konoha, the defeat of Danzo and world peace.
No doubt his old friends would be shocked but who wouldn't be.
"Ne, Kurama?"
"What gaki?"
"What's our next point of call?"
"Unlock it, now is the time."
And with that, Naruto disappeared from his spot without a trace...
=Konoha: Nara Compound=
Naruto.
Alive.
He is alive.
Not dead.
Not a ghost.
But alive.
.
.
.
...and a rogue.
These were just a few of the words circling round the room and in the minds of the now assembled Konoha 10, especially a certain cherry blossom.
They could understand how she felt, suddenly having her teammate revived from the dead and being a rogue, away from Konoha. The heart must be giving up soon, the amount of stress and turmoil it has to deal with.
It was still a mystery of how. She thought that 'Kitsune' was lying about Naruto being his sensei but that was all disproved but how? That amount of blood loss and the sheer force of a Senjutsu Rasen-Shuriken could kill someone and leave no trace of their existence, save the sheer blood loss.
But how? And why? Why leave your friends for so many years, making them suffer and grieve but then appear back like nothing happened? Why are you putting us through this torture?
"We need to talk about it," started Shikamaru, finally getting up from the sofa. "The Naruto problem."
"Shika!" Ino nudged him to try and direct the conversation elsewhere. She didn't want the mental state of her best friend to get any worse.
"No, we have to do it. Just like we did with Sasuke," continued Shikamaru. "We were led to believe that Naruto killed himself, escaping Danzo's agents and his body was torn to shreds in the damage, leaving no trace of him. We all had this feeling that he wasn't dead but had no proof to do it, but that was changed with recent events. He is alive but and a real threat to this village."
"How so...?" Hinata knew the answer but just wanted to end this conversation as quickly as possible.
"He is a rogue." Sakura gasped a little as if a heavier weight was pressed down on her. As if the true meaning finally became clear in front of her eyes.
And this is why the lazy genius decided to hold this meeting inside a clan compound. It was illegal to enter without permission, especially the clan meeting room so it was the perfect place for discussing this situation without angering Danzo.
Basic seals were in place around the compound to stop people listening in, especially annoying nuisances such as a certain Hokage.
"Something isn't right here and a I know it," stated the ever-so-smart Neji. "Why would Naruto just abandon his dream like that?"
"You're right, none of this makes sense. He'd never do any of this ever, he's too strong willed to do this. He's far too stubborn, and that's him. Only some of the cunning tongues could persuade him, maybe even a reason strong enough to turn against Konoha."
"What could be so awful to change his will completely?" asked Tenten.
Neji snorted and crossed his arms. "Didn't you hear him? He's going after Danzo-" He was cut off by a rush of confusion and questions without hesitation.
"It's true..." came the quiet voice of Sakura. So many emotions fit into those words: pain, sadness, heartbreak, hate, confusion. To name a few. She wiped the tears off her eyes and continued.
"It's all... true. He wants... to kill... Danzo. Left us... behind. He put us through... hell... alone. Enemy of... this village. Has... been marked... for death. All... true." The air seemed to stop as she spoke. The voice, so soft, almost non-existent. The wall of pink never helped a bit, but shade her eyes. "It's not the Naruto...I- we know."
She was being pushed past her emotional limits, crying her eyes out. "It is all a dream. It is someone else... A different identity, but it's not! It's... really... him. So betrayed... he abandoned his friends! He never asked for help! He abandoned us just like-"
"Sakura, calm down," said Ino. She pat her back and helped the girl down. Her whole body was shaking, not knowing what to do.
"Think of this way. Naruto never did things without a reason, why would now be an exception? Even he must have a reason for his doings right now. As he already mentioned, he's going after Danzo, so now he's probably working for more ways to infiltrate the village and to destroy Danzo. Yes, we all don't like him but he is our Hokage and we are honour-bound to do what he says. He probably never came back for our safety. Any association with him would probably be considered treason and have you executed on the spot.
"He could not come to us, so he sought out people already unknown or neglected from society, where no one would miss them. They have all most likely done nothing to Konoha, so they are the perfect allies. Its now common knowledge that he's the leader of the Orange Flames which is why he stayed away from us, until they stole many of the precious scrolls of Konoha. Naruto is not dumb, he always something up his sleeve-"
"Oh so you really think I'm on your side?" came Naruto's voice, coming from no particular place. "Danzo and Konoha shall fall!"
The group gasped at this, since when was he here?
"Oh that's funny! I'm just going after Danzo but Konoha shall become weak. In essence, Konoha shall fall!"
Naruto's voice faded into the distance leaving a wide-eyes group.
"Anyways," continued Shikamaru, ignoring the voice. "We need to do something. I believe after the Jonin Exams would be the perfect time."
"Like what?" asked Choji, still munching on his crisps.
"Gather information on him and his plans. Surely Danzo has to have kept some sort of information on them. We will also be able to keep an eye on Danzo as we find out information."
"But what you are saying is treason! We could get executed!" cried out Ino.
"I agree, how unyouthful, even if it is for Naruto-kun!" cried out Lee, only to be slapped in the back by Tenten.
"Only if we get caught, we will get executed, plus I bet we could be able to get Naruto to come back to our side," said Neji with a smirk.
"Who the hell are you and where is Neji?" teased the brunette.
"We gather information, put the pieces together and fix everything. I know we all hate the way things are as of right now, with the Naruto problem and how shady Danzo has become. Who agrees?" continued Neji, blushing a little at Tenten's comment. This did not go unnoticed by a certain Yamanaka.
Slowly but surely, the group agreed on it, if not hesitant at first.
Except a certain medic, still lost in their thoughts.
They thought she would be first to agree, but she was far too quiet for their liking.
"Sakura! Sakura!" called Ino, trying to break her out of her self-inflicted trance.
After a few more seconds of desperately trying to wake her up, the lazy genius decided to try. "Sakura, do you agree on this plan to find out more about Naruto?"
"...leave Naruto to me... but I'm in..."
=Uzushio Ruins: Unknown Location=
"Alright, are we all ready?"
"Hai, Leader-sama!" came a chorus of different voices.
"Sealing Art: Disruptive Barrier!" Seals snaked across the floor of the shrine, before glowing blue and sinking into the ground. "Activate!" The ground started glowing before bright lights shone out of the ground before fading away once more.
If you looked at where they were, you would see an empty shrine, not fourteen figures spread across the shrine.
"Stage 1: Activate!" Twelve of the figures arranged into two layers of six around the central matrix, each landing on a unique hand seal before a glowing blue triangle pointing out appeared beneath the twelve figures.
"Stage 2: Activate!" Five pillars rose out of the ground before glowing: crimson red, leafy green, bright yellow, dark brown and aqua blue. A white circle joined the pillars on the ground before out of the centre, nine trenches appeared, dividing the ground up to the inner six figures.
"Stage 3: Activate!" Sand filled one of the rows, the one next filling with blue fire. Coral and water filled the third, before lava filled the fourth. Steam erupted out of the ground, next to it bubbles before filling up their respective trenches. A purple/grey powder filled the seventh trench followed by ink in the eight. A raging fire filled up the ninth trench before each trench's contents flickered out of existence, the trenches rising back and fusing with the ground.
"Ray, it's now or never!"
"Seishingan: Spirit Revival!" Red eyes flashed before a green aura emanated from the figure named Ray. The flowing triangles revolves around the centre figure before all of the bright lights disappeared, leaving the glowing pillars standing tall.
"Release!" The two figures in the centre jumped out of the way before a Yin/Yang Symbol appeared under they were standing. The symbol parted in half and made way for a stone statue rising out of the ground and glowing green.
The symbols went back to their original position, joining up once more and spinning under the stone statue, which was now floating. The stone statue started peeling, although not changing too much colour on the skin but revealing a white cloth as the clothes on it. Two grey 'rabbit ears' sprouted from the forehead and a red circling symbol came into existence on the forehead.
Six [1] pitch black orbs seemed to appear out of nowhere before a black rod of the same colour appeared, a circle with six rings on it on the right and a crescent moon symbol on the left. The statue's eyes opened, revealing two ripple patterns on the eyes.
"Who hast unlocked the great secrets of this shrine of mine?"
So... How'd I do? Good? Bad? Awful? Trash? Amazing? Tell me!
If you have any suggestions, let me know and I'll incorporate them if I like them!
Kind of filler, kind of not. Bit of both and some relation to the story but don't worry, this will ramp up soon!
Sorry if the updates are taking a while or are bad, I'm still trying to figure out how to do the Jonin Exam... thing... and stuff like that, including the main plot. Ok cool gonna start writing again. Sorry for short chapter :/
[1] How many Truth-Seeker Orbs does (figure) have, including the staff?
And that's all for now!
See you later: Ja ne!
