"Tell me what I want to know, bug," Saw demanded the Geonosian as he continued to interrogate him, "What Imperial secret was worth the lives of my team, my friends?"

"Easy, Saw," Ezra pleaded with the Onderonian.

"We've all got questions for him," Kanan chimed in.

"Saw, he's unarmed," Rex told him.

"You know better than anyone, we can't underestimate these things," Saw retorted before the Geonosian rubbed his throat.

"I think he's afraid," Ezra stated.

"How can you tell?" Rex asked her.

"Let Ezra talk to him," Kanan suggested.

"It's okay. We won't hurt you," Ezra told the Geonosian as she extended her arm outwards as she approached him.

"Hmm?" The Geonosian mumbled.

"I'm Ezra Wren of the Mandalorian Clan Wren and house Vizsla," Ezra said introducing herself to the Geonosian as she removed her helmet, "What's your name?"

"Klik-Klak, klik-Klak," the Geonosian answered in Geonosian.

"Yeah, I think I'm just gonna call ya Klik-Klak," she told the Geonosian as she heard him mumble those words, "Come on out."

Klik-Klak left his corner and stabbed his finger at Chopper who took his arms and scomp link out in retaliation.

"It's okay, Chop," she told the astromech before turning back to the Geonosian speaking slowly to him, "Klik-Klak, can you tell us what the Empire was doing here on Geonosis?" Klik-Klak began speaking Geonosian as he bent down as he created a circle with a smaller circle near the edge of the larger circle with the dirt on the ground.

"Circle inside of a circle," Rex mused, "That could be the rings around geonosis."

"I need more than some scratches in the dirt," Saw told Klik-Klak before Chopper grunted.

"Chopper picked up an energy reading in the direction Klik-Klak was going. Down below somewhere," Ezra told everyone.

"Probably a trap," Saw stated, "Another den of battle droids."

"Or the answers we're looking for," Kanan suggested.

"We came all this way," Rex added as Saw went to stuncuffs on Klik-Klak's wrists, causing the Geonosian to begin fighting with him as he spoke Geonosian to the Onderonian.

"What are you doing?" Ezra asked him with disbelief as Klik-Klak continued to protest as a holoprojector fell from Saw's belt as he finally placed the stuncuffs on the Geonosian.

"Tracker," Saw answered the Mandalorian, "I don't want it running off again." Chopper grunted as he rolled forward as everyone but Ezra walked forward as she placed her helmet back over her head as she noticed the holoprojector, picked it up before turning it around and saw a dark skinned woman of about 20-25 years old projecting on the holoprojector.

"Hey, Saw!" Ezra called out to the Onderonian as she ran towards the others with the holoprojector in her hand, "I think this is yours."

"Where'd you get that?! Give it here!" He demanded as he went to take it back from her.

"Uh, you dropped it back there," she answered, "Is that your sister?"

"Steela," Saw confirmed, "This is all I have left of her."

"Back in the Clone War, Saw's sister was killed by a Separatist gunship, Ahsoka tried to save her but was shot in the back by another Separatist gunship, distracting her from saving her," Rex explained to Ezra, placing his hand on her shoulder as Saw walked away as he deactivated his holoprojector of his sister as he put it away.

"The Geonosians were separatists, right?" She asked him.

"Yeah, and they created those gunships," Rex confirmed before removing his hand from her shoulder as they walked forward.

"I'm sure the proximity sensor was triggered by a meteor again," a dark skinned Imperial woman on an Imperial Light Cruiser above Geonosis told the two Imperial officers sitting at the computer systems on the bridge in front of her, "Scan the quarantine zone for intruders and let's be on our way. I don't want to waste any more time on this desolate rock than I have to."

"Captain, I'm detecting life on the surface," one of the officers reported.

"Most likely scavengers. Deploy recon patrol," she ordered and with that two TIE bombers were deployed from the ship and began heading towards Geonosis.

Back on the surface of Geonosis, Zeb was walking up the Ghost's ramp with Sabine, loading the deflector core onto the cargo hold.

"Zeb, Sabine, I need you up here!" Hera called to both the Lasat and Mandalorian with the ship's intercom.

"What now?" Zeb sighed before he and Sabine headed to the cockpit.

"Imperial Light Cruiser," Hera told Sabine and Zeb as they stood behind her, "They haven't detected us yet. We need to get the others back here now, but I can't raise their comlinks. They must have gone back into the tunnels for some reason."

"If I take a transmitter into the cave, think I can connect them from there?" Zeb suggested.

"Try it, but don't stray too far," Hera told him before turning to the Mandalorian, "Sabine, you finish locking down the deflector core." Sabine and Zeb then left the cockpit to do their jobs with Zeb holding a transmitter as he began running towards the Geonosian temple.

Chopper grunted as he, Saw, Ezra, Klik-Klak, Rex and Kanan walked into Klik-Klak's home and saw a Phase I Clone Trooper helmet placed on a stool.

"This is where you live?" Ezra asked the Geonosian as took her helmet off as she walked past the Clone Trooper helmet with Klik-Klak replying in his native language.

"Some kind of workshop," Saw observed as he saw mechanical items in a corner of the Geonosian's home.

"He's been maintaining that shield generator and those droids," Rex added.

"Droids he used to ambush us," Saw pointed out, causing Klik-Klak to explain why he sent battle droids after them in his native language.

"Well, all his people were killed, and… we came here with weapons," Ezra said defending the Geonosian, "Can you blame him for protecting himself?"

"What else is it protecting?" Saw questioned before turning around as Rex sat in a seat in front of a computer and turned it on.

"Huh. Transmitter looks functional. Maybe we can boost your signal with it," Rex suggested to Kanan.

"Chop, give me a hand with this," Kanan told Chopper.

"Got a lot of stuff here," Saw said as he began to ransack Klik-Klak's place, causing Klik-Klak to protest in his native language as he rushed over to him and began to create the same circle within a circle as before, "No, no, no! That tells me nothing!" This statement caused Rex to look at him as Saw walked the Geonosian kicking objects with his foot.

"Saw, don't. This is his home," Ezra pleaded with the Onderonian.

"That may be the only answer you're gonna get out of him," Rex told Saw, walking up to him.

"It's hiding something," Saw told them as Klik-Klak began to walk away only for Saw to grab him, "What have you got in here? A weapon?"

"Stop!" Ezra ordered the Onderonian as Saw threw Klik-Klak at her and Rex.

"Saw," Rex pleaded with him as he walked towards him as Saw showed them a blaster that he just found "Sonic blaster."

"Still think the bug's our friend?" Saw asked as he threw the Geonosian sonic blaster onto the ground as he went back to search through the rubble, "What else you got in there?" As Sa said that, Klik-Klak rushed forward and retrieved an egg from behind one of the objects and Saw pulled him from where he reached for the egg.

"That's… an egg," Rex told them.

"He's just been defending it. That's what this is all about," Ezra stated, "That's what he was trying to draw."

"Looks like a queen egg," Rex observed, "It's very rare."

"That could be the last Geonosian egg left," Kanan added as he sat in the computer chair where Rex was sitting moments ago.

"Specter-4 to Specter-1," Zeb's voice suddenly came through the computer's transmitter, "Can you read me? Come in, Specter-1."

"Specter-4, we read you," Kanan said, answering Zeb's call.

"Kanan?" Zeb said as he sat next to his transmitter in front of the hole to the tunnel, "All right! I got ya! Hold on. Let me patch you through to Hera."

"Specter-1, do you read?" Hera spoke through the computer's transmitter in Klik-klak's home.

"Loud and clear," he answered, "We've found something."

"So did we. The Empire is here! We need you back here so we can go," Hera told them. "You too, Specter-4."

"On my way!" Zeb said as he began leaving the temple.

"The tunnel we came in collapsed," Kanan told her, "We'll have to find another way out"

"What about that giant chasm we crossed?" Rex suggested, "It goes to the surface. Maybe we can find a way up."

"This thing comes with us for interrogation," Saw told them as he grabbed Klik-Klak's wrist pulling the Geonosian towards them.

"Well, then who will protect the egg?" Ezra asked him, "If it is a queen, then it's vital to the survival of his whole race."

"Whatever that thing knows is vital to our survival," Saw retorted.

"Ezra's right," Kanan said, approaching them, "They don't deserve extinction."

"The mission takes priority," Saw stated.

"Saw, we had this argument back at command. Your mission was to find out what happened here," Rex reminded the Onderonian.

"And I'm gonna make this bug tell me exactly that," Saw declared.

"No. If that egg is the last chance to save his people, then we have to help him protect it," Ezra told him.

"I know some people in this rebellion don't want to admit it, but we are in a war, and war is loss," Saw said, coming right up to her face.

"Okay, but we're taking Klik-Klak and the egg to our base. After we question him, we'll bring him home," Kanan said, trying to make a compromise.

"Agreed," Kanan said, agreeing with him.

"Kanan, what's your position?" Hera suddenly asked on the computer's transmitter.

"We're heading back to the center air shaft," Kanan answered as he walked back over to the computer while Ezra placed her helmet back over her head.

As Zeb continued running back to the Ghost, Hera heard beeping from the computer in the cockpit before rushing to the dashboard and saw two dots representing Imperial TIES enter Geonosis's atmosphere. "We're in trouble!" The TIEs began bombing the area around the Ghost as Zeb stopped from a distance away from the ship. "Shields just took a major hit."

Back on the Light Cruiser, the holoprojector displayed a hologram of the modified VCX-100 light freighter that Hera owned, "That ship is a rebel vessel, Captain. Imperial records identify it as the Ghost from Phoenix Squadron," one of the Imperial officers told the ship's captain.

"The Ghost!" She repeated with surprise, "If we destroy that ship, it would mean a promotion for all of us."

"Hurry, Zeb! Move it!" Hera called out to the Lasat as he continued running towards the Ghost, "Sabine, I need you in the nose gun, now!"

Zeb ran onto the Ghost as the ship began to lift off of the ground with the ramp closing after entering the cargo hold.

Sabine began firing at the TIEs as she sat in the Ghost's nose gun as the two TIEs swung back around from the temple before she destroyed one of the TIEs. She continued to fire upon the other TIE as the Ghost followed the TIE as Zeb hopped in the Ghost's top turret and began firing with it only to realize that one of the cannon's were working.

"Hey! I only got one barrel!" He told Hera with disbelief.

"Thank to that storm, you're gonna have to make do!" Hera retorted as the Ghost continued to chase the TIE.

"Stupid sand, gets everywhere," Sabine muttered as she and Zeb continued to fire at the TIE Bomber before firing at it's wing seconds later, causing it to spiral towards the ground.

"Specter-1, we took out the Empire's first wave, but they'll send more," Hera said, contacting Kanan.

"Ugh. You better come get us," Kanan replied on the comm system, "Do you still have my signal?"

"Yeah, I think I see where you're headed," Hera answered, "Gonna be a tight fit." She then called out to Sabine and Zeb, "Strap yourselves in!" She then began flying the Ghost towards a hole in the ground in the distance and began to slowly descend down into the hole.

"Oh, this doesn't look good," Zeb muttered as he saw where the Ghost was descending down towards.

"All these tunnels look the same," Rex muttered as Chopper grunted as he led them down the tunnel, "Are you sure Chopper knows where he's going?"

"He made a map as we went ," Ezra reassured him when suddenly Klik-Klak grabbed her as he spoke his native language as he pulled her towards another tunnel, "Wait. Klik-Klak wants to head down there for some reason. Maybe this is a shortcut."

"We follow the droid," Saw stated as he pushed Klik-Klak forward.

"Our recon units were destroyed, and we've lost all trace of the rebel vessel on our scopes, Captain," one of the Imperial officers on the Light Cruiser told the captain behind them.

"Pinpoint their last known position and take us down," the captain ordered.

"Down, Captain?" the Imperial officer questioned.

"They've gone underground, and we're going to follow," she explained.

"There it is!" Ezra stated as she and the others reapproached the Chasm and saw the Ghost descending downwards from above with the ramp lowing as the ship appeared before them with everyone boarding the ship.

"Saw Gerrera, this is Hera, Ezra's sister: Sabine and Zeb," Kanan said introducing Saw to the rest of the team as they stood before Hera, Sabine and Zeb.

"Phoenix Leader, I'm honored to meet you," Saw told the twi'lek, "Your actions have not gone unnoticed among the ranks of other rebels."

"Neither have yours," Hera replied as Ezra stepped forward with Klik-klak who spoke his native language.

"You found a local?" Zeb asked in disbelief as he had his arms crossed.

"It's okay. That's Klik-klak," Ezra said, introducing the Geonosian to them as she removed her helmet.

"Is he the only one?" Hera asked.

"We think so," she answered.

"Well, that complicates things," Hera sighed.

"He's our only clue to what the Imperials did here," Saw added, "I wanna take him with us."

"Okay, what does Klik-Klak want to do?" Hera asked.

"He wants to stay here," Ezra answered as Klik-Klak told Ezra in his native language, "I think he wants us to take him deeper into the planet."

"That's too bad, because we already have an agreement," Saw reminded her, "Don't we, Jedi?"

"We agreed that we would take Klik-Klak back to our base for questioning," Kanan told Hera.

"Kanan, can I have a word with you?" Hera requested before they both left the room to another room.

"What's wrong?" He asked her.

"Gererra," she answered as she crossed her arms, "How much do you know about him?"

"Nothing, really," Kanan answered, "Just what Rex told us. You have a problem with him?"

"We need to be careful. From what I hear Saw's got a reputation for being a little... extreme," Hera answered.

"Considering his past, can't say I blame him," Kanan stated.

"Leave him alone!" They suddenly heard Ezra yell from the entertainment center behind them and opened the door and saw that Saw was torturing Klik-Klak with an electro-shock transmitter, "Hey, you can't take him!"

"I said go!" Saw ordered Klik-Klak as Zeb growled at the Onderonian as he went to charge at him only for Rex to place a hand on his chest as Saw pressed a button on his wrist, causing Klik-Klak to get electrocuted again.

"You're hurting him!" Ezra yelled at the Onderonian again.

"Gerrera, what are you doing?!" Hera demanded Saw.

"I'm taking your shuttle and the bug," Saw answered as he turned around.

"You're not taking The Phantom anywhere," Sabine told him.

"Saw, we had a deal. We'll question Klik-Klak at Chopper Base," Kanan reminded him.

"Your methods are soft, Jedi. We lost the last war because of you. I won't lose this one," Saw told them before pressing the button on his wrist again, causing Klik-Klak to electrocute again.

"Stop!" Ezra ordered the Onderonian as she ran towards him and grabbed him by the waist only for him to throw her towards one of the doors.

"Easy, soldier. You're not in command here," Rex told Saw as he grabbed him from behind before Saw hurled him forward.

"Now move it, bug!" Saw ordered Klik-Klak as he pressed the button on his wrist again, electrocuting him again, causing him to let go of the egg in his hands.

"The egg!" Ezra cried out as the others went to grab it only for Saw to pick it up.

"I don't want to do this, but you leave me no choice," Saw told them as he aimed his blaster pistol at the egg.

"Captain, you were right," one of the Imperial officers on the Light Cruiser as it was in the atmosphere of Geonosis, near the hole where the Ghost was in, "The rebel ship has entered an underground passage."

"Let us pass, or I destroy the egg," Saw told the Ghost crew as he still had the egg in his hand, aiming his blaster pistol at it as Klik-Klak spoke in his native language with fear.

"Saw, you don't want to do this," Kanan told the Onderonian.

"I know you believe you're doing the right thing, but…" Hera began.

"Our enemy shows no mercy. Neither can we," Saw told them.

"If you harm that egg, you're helping the Empire wipe out the last of his kind. The last of his family," Ezra reminded him as Klik-Klak spoke in his native language yet again, "I don't care."

"Yes, you do," Rex told him, "I know you care because you know what it's like to lose family."

"Yeah, I know what it's like. I lost my sister, Steela to the Separatists and my planet to the Empire. I'm fighting for you and everyone else not to lose what they've got. And I won't apologize for how I do it," Saw told them.

"Then you're no better than the Empire," Ezra told him as Chopper rolled into the room and started grunting.

"They found us!" Sabine stated.

"We have to leave. Now," Saw ordered.

"We can't take him with us," Ezra told him, "Klik-Klak belongs here."

"Hey, if we all get captured, that'll end this debate real quick. Let's go!" Hera told them as Chopper grunted.

"They're cutting us off!" Sabine added.

Meanwhile on the Light Cruiser, Imperial Jumptroopers, a stormtrooper with jetpacks ran through the corridors before jumping out of the cruiser as they activated their jetpacks and began descending downwards towards the Ghost.

As this was happening, Hera entered the Ghost's cockpit as Sabine, Saw, Klik-Klak and Ezra entered the cockpit, "We got rocket troopers incoming!" Hera reported to them, "Ezra, I need you guys up top now."

"Why can I use my jetpack?" She asked her.

"Do you even know how to use it?" Hera asked her.

"I've been training her," Sabine informed Hera.

"Fine, if you want to you want to," Hera relented as Ezra placed her helmet over her head as she left the room as Hera turned to Saw, "Saw, can I count on you?"

"In a fight against the Empire?" Saw asked her before chuckling, "Any time." He then gave the egg back to Klik-Klak.

"Good. Get up there with the others and buy me some time," Hera told Saw before Saw left the room.

"What's your plan?" Sabine asked Hera.

"Well, we can't go up, so we gotta go down," Hera answered before turning to the Geonosian, "Looks like you get your way, Klik-Klak." Klik-Klak then began to mutter his name in Geonosian.

On top of the Ghost Kanan and Ezra had their sabers ignited to deflect the jumptrooper's blaster bolts as Zeb fired his bo-rifle at the jumptroopers while Saw did the same with his blaster pistol.

"Pesky fliers!" Zeb muttered as some of the jumptroopers began landing on the Ghost firing at them before Kanan Force pushed one that was next to him off as one of the jumptroopers pushed Saw onto the window of the Ghost's top turret where Rex was sitting at before Saw punched him as Rex turned the turret toward jumptrooper that was fighting with Saw and fired the turret's cannon at the jumptrooper sending him off of the ship before firing at one of the troopers flying towards him before firing at the other one that was flying near him and fired at another one of the troopers who were standing above the thrusters before the other jumptroopers activated their jetpacks and flew upwards before one of them were shot by Rex as the other one threw a thermal detonator at them which landed next to Saw before he kicked it away.

"They've got detonators!" Saw announced to the others.

"I'm on it!" Ezra told him before lifting them up they exploded above them.

Sabine from the ramp had her jetpack on and began flying up when she approached Ezra, "Come on, Sis!"

Ezra turned to Kanan and the others, "We'll handle it from here," Kanan told her, "Go with her."

"Those troopers are in trouble now," Ezra as she activated her jetpack and flew up towards the troopers wit her sister deflecting the blaster bolts as they arrived in front of them with Sabine firing her WESTAR-35 at one of them, while Ezra slashed the other one as Sabine shot a trooper to their side before they saw two jumptrooper on two different platforms firing at them as Sabine reached for her pocket and threw a thermal detonator at one of the troopers.

"You want to do the next one, sis?" Sabine asked her.

"It would be my pleasure," Ezra answered as took a thermal detonator from her sister and threw it at the other jumptrooper.

"Wait, what are they doing?" Kanan asked as Sabine fired her WESTAR-35's killing the last trooper before she and Ezra flew back down onto the Ghost.

"Captain, our rocket trooper squadron suffered heavy losses," one of the Imperial officers on the Light Cruiser above the hole told the captain.

"How heavy?" she demanded.

"We lost them all," he answered.

"Move the cruiser into firing position," she ordered after hitting him on the head.

"We can't stay down here forever," Saw said as he climbed down the ladder into the entertainment center where Ezra, Sabine and Klik-Klak were who spoke in his native language.

"I wonder how deep this goes," Ezra chimed in as Chopper grunted a response.

"According to Chopper, not much further down," Sabine answered her sister before looking at the device on her wrist, "And he's picking up something on his scanner."

"I say we check it out," Ezra said as Klik-Klak spoke in his native language again.

"Every second we spend down here seals our fate," Saw disagreed.

"We've come this far," Hera said as she entered the room, "If Klik-Klak thinks this is the way to go, I want to see why."

Soon the Ghost reached the lowest level of the chasm and landed as the ramp opened with everyone but Hera walking out of the Ghost.

"Over here," Saw said as he shined his flashlight at large canisters with the insignia of the Galactic Empire embedded on it.

"Those canisters. Imperial weapons division," Sabine stated as she and everyone else followed him.

"They're for poison gas," Saw added.

"There," Rex said pointing at the symbol on the canister, "Just like his drawing, the circle in the circle. Now we know what happened to his people."

"Ezra's right," Saw finally said as he turned to her and Klik-Klak behind him, "The Geonosian belongs here." He approached Klik-Klak and removed the stuncuffs he placed on him earlier, "Those canisters are all we need to prove that the Empire wiped out its people. Everyone loses family in war, even the enemy. The Geonosians deserve the same chance to rebuild that we do."

"Go on, Klik-Klak. You're free," Ezra told Klik-Klak after he spoke in Geonosian.

"Where's he going?" Hera asked Kanan as she walked down the ramp next to him as she saw Klik-Klak put the egg down and removed a rock.

"I don't think this is the bottom," Rex stated.

"Maybe there are other survivors," Ezra suggested as Klik-Klak continued to remove rocks as he spoke Geonosian.

"Huh. They sure are a resourceful species," Rex added as Klik-Klak grabbed the egg and entered the hole before sealing te hole as he spoke Geonosian.

"I hope he finds a safe place to hatch the egg," Ezra told everyone.

"He's kept it safe for this long. They'll be okay," Kanan reassured her as he and Hera began to walk towards her.

"Okay, let's load some of these canisters as proof for the Senate," Hera told them.

"We are in position over the opening, but there's no sign of the enemy ship. They must have descended deeper into the planet," one of the Imperial officers told the captain as the Light Cruiser they were on hovered over the opening to the chasm.

"Bury the rebels alive," she ordered before the Light Cruiser began to open fire on the Geonosian temple in front of the chasm.

"The tunnel's collapsing! Go!" Hera ordered as she saw rocks fall down from above as she sat in her seat in the cockpit as the Ghost picked up the canisters with its magnet on the cargo hold from outside as Kanan and Ezra ran through the ramp after everyone else ran into the cargo hold with Rex closing it as he ran out of the cargo hold as Kanan ran for the cockpit with Saw.

"They're trying to seal us in!" Kanan said as he and Saw entered the cockpit.

"We're not getting buried down here," Hera stated as Kanan and Saw sat in the seat's behind her and Sabine before tilting the ship upwards and activated it's boosters as Ezra and Zeb sat in the turrets firing at the rocks falling towards them and Hera rolled the ship around as the neared the exit with rocks coming towards them with her evading them.

"The cruiser is directly over our exit," Sabine observed, "It's blocking our escape!"

"Their captain is showing their inexperience," Hera muttered, "All hands, fire forward batteries. Sabine, fire proton torpedoes." They all began to fire upon the Light Cruiser as they left the chasm's opening.

"Take evasive action!" The Light Crusier's captain ordered as Sabine fired two proton torpedoes into the Light Cruiser, damaging the ship as the Ghost flew past them.

As the Ghost flew past the Light Cruiser, the canister suddenly flew off of the ship's magnetic hold. "We've lost the canisters!" Sabine exclaimed as the Ghost began to leave the planet as the Light Cruiser snapped into two.

"Unfortunately, all we were able to recover were images of the poison canisters used by the Empire against the Geonosians," Hera informed two holograms of Bail Organa and Commander Sato as she, Ezra, and Kanan sat on the entertainment center's couch while Saw stood next to them.

"The images are frightening but will not be enough to convince the Senate of the Empire's atrocities," Bail told her, causing her to lower her head with sadness, "They may however, help us recruit more systems to our cause."

"Your intel concerning these matters, acquisition of a shield core and the rescue of Saw Gerrera makes the mission a profound success," Sato told her before the two holograms switched off, "Well done."

"We also gave Klik-Klak and his race a fighting chance for survival," Ezra chimed in.

"We still don't know what the Empire was building on Geonosis," Saw stated.

"Maybe not, but they can't keep it hidden forever," Kanan told him, "We'll deal with it."

"I just hope it won't be too late," Saw added as he left the room.

"You're welcome," Ezra told Kanan and Hera.

"Ezra, you're gonna find not all of our allies share the same values or even fight the Empire for the same reason we do," Kanan reassured the Mandalorian.

"I've also got my problems with Sa, Ezra. But in the end, he proved he's not the Empire," Hera told her, "And for now, that will have to do."

Please favorite and review. Would you like me to continue adding the Imperial scenes or not? Also am I the only one who didn't realize that Klik-Klak was drawing the Death Star when I first watched the episode? Also I can't believe that the Geonosians went extinct anyways after the episode in a comic.
