Slice after slice, Kurochi brought down her Ketix scythe and cut heads off of each blackened creature that emerged from the shadows at the entrance. They all exploded from the strikes, splashing their dark goop all over the Queen. She didn't care, she wanted to defend her people from those things, even if it meant using every last bit of her strength.

It has been an hour now since those things started pouring in and she was growing a tad bit tired. Light panting yet not a scratch on her from those creatures, only the loss in stamina would be the death of her.

She twirled her scythe around, spun in place and cut down several other creatures that surrounded her in a circle. They all exploded at the same time and coated the floor in black. These creatures are certainly formidable, only in large numbers though. If it wasn't for this excellent scythe, I would have had to resort to my true form... Maybe. she said in her mind and cut off another head of a blackened creature.

In a private room where Obi slept, he was successfully healed and laid on top of a stone table in his non-bat form. Shishi had left the room with her teacher, Inuyasha was made to guard the door just in case a creature sneaked its way past Suji some magical way and got past Kagome in the large room. What they didn't expect was for Y/N to suddenly appear at the side of Obsidian, staring down at him with her alien eyes with mourn. "I knew it... He almost got killed," she mumbled and closed her eyes. She looked much stronger than she did before and her strict eyes opened up to view him again. The room was barely lit due to the sapphires that gave off a faint glow from the ceiling, they were much fainter than the bigger room Kagome was in.

It was kind of hard to make out the new and strong appearance she had, from all of that training she received. "Time really didn't go anywhere, did it? It felt like years went by when the Time Corpse trained me. Damn, right now I must still be the same age, yet I don't feel like it. I feel two or three years older or maybe more..." she mumbled and rolled her eyes before turning on her heel to leave. "This new speed should get me back to the others in no time," she whispered and was about to leave, until she felt a hand grip tightly on her wrist. She gasped when she got yanked onto the stone table right on top of Obi. He held her against him and flipped over to get on top, grinning his Sebastian smirk all the while. "I thought you were asleep...!" she whisper yelled with shocked, widened eyes.

His wings curled around the sides of the table and he inched closer to her lips. "I just woke up...to the sound of your precious voice," he whispered and chuckled quietly. Their noses touched and his arms rested on both sides of her head, trapping her within his hold. "I wasn't expecting you to show up, so perhaps...with this chance..." he began and continued with what he tried before. She couldn't do anything since both her legs and arms were pressed against the table with his own limbs.

"C-Cut it out, I'm with Sesshomaru...! Let go of me, batma-!" before she could even finish the last word, he cut her off by lip-locking her. She gasped, feeling the time fly by. He didn't stop, faint sounds of him enjoying the kiss echoed from his muffled lips. When he finally parted, his attention was on her the entire time. Her face were ten shades of red, only to darken when he poked his fangs on her neck and traced his tongue along the side of it. "Get off..." she demanded with a stern voice. "During a war, this stuff can wait can't it?! There's no time for this kind of thing and Sesshomaru would beat your ass so hard, you wouldn't even have a butt left!" she yelled and kicked her feet angrily with a beet-red face.

"I will win you over... Sesshomaru could have any woman he wants... My mother chose you for me despite the fact of me already having strong feelings for you. So, even if it costs me my life, I WILL...keep fighting until you're mine..." he whispered seductively in her ear and licked it. It made her heart race and he could hear it, it only made him grin more.

"Damn you're persistent!" she hollered, used her kinetic energy and surprisingly enough, made him hover in the air for a couple seconds. She made herself an opening so she could flee, so when she got up off the table and kept him in the air, she literally disappeared with a few chunks of the floor uprooting from her spot.

As soon as she left, he fell on his stomach and had a gaping, shocked mouth. "That power... Where did she possibly get that...?! Mm...she just continues to surprise me each time. I love her, so much.~" he said with delight and rolled over on to his back. "Someday my dear, someday,~" he added and laid his forearm over his closed, blind eyes. His other hand slowly traced his bottom lips with his fingers, trying to savor the lingering sensation he longed to feel before.

"You underestimate me," Sesshomaru stated in a low voice and glared daggers at Glao, who only gave an emotionless stare in return. "The undead is no match for me, they are all...too weak," he said and watched as all the undead soldiers slowly walk towards him. The spherical sized space he stood in grew smaller by the minute and not once did he take his golden eyes off of the floating fox.

"You...underestimate me, as well," Glao quietly replied and started to float up into the sky. "You may be the fierce ruler of the western lands, but you are no match for beings that are already dead. Slice them up, cut them down, blow them to pieces, they will still be useful to me," he added and hovered high in the air with his purple eyes glued to Sesshomaru's irritated ones.

"Undead, demons, humans, elves, any race, none are capable of withstanding my power!" Sesshomaru yelled and swiped out his sword. "Bakusaiga!" he hollered and caused a large wave of corrosive energy to lash out at the surrounding zombies. Yellow flashes of light masked the area and almost blinded Glao, who shielded his eyes a little with his forearm. After the light faded, all the zombies around him were laying flat on the ground in pieces, yet, Glao didn't seem surprised in the least.

"Hmph..." Glao closed his eyes and shook his head. Those very limbs that got severed all stood up by some sort of force. "Things that are already dead...cannot die again," he added, opened his purple eyes and watched as the limbs, yes even heads alone, made their way towards Sesshomaru. Hands that crawled like a spider on their fingers, heads that rolled or bounced after him, feet that hopped on over, torsos that crawled towards him using their shoulders, everything was still moving.

Lazily lifting his hand, the fox clenched his fingers and made white fire coat it. His palm faced upward and his index finger curled towards him once, as if giving a come here gesture.

"Then, I will simply kill the puppeteer..." Sesshi stated and disappeared out from the circle, only to reappear before Glao with his hand clamped on the hilt of his sword. "Bukusaiga!" he yelled like before, shot out the corrosive wave of energy point blank and overtook the fox in a blinding motion. As soon as the wave faded away, his golden eyes widened when he saw Glao's white flaming hand holding on to the bare blade.

"Fire burns corruption and kills poison... It is spectacular as a defensive ability when facing an opponent who wields such power..." Glao explained with no emotion in his voice. What he didn't expect was for Sesshomaru to angrily kick at the floating glass orb he sat on. The very orb broke into pieces and caused the fox to descend towards the ground.

"Then my Bakusaiga isn't needed..." Sesshi said to himself and pulled out the glass blade Y/N made him with his free hand. He remained in the air hovering and sheathed his corrosive blade. With a simple click of a button and turning it on, the very glass sword glowed brightly like the sun's rays. He bolted down after the fox with it ready to swipe out towards him, but Glao didn't move.

"Such foolishness..." Glao mumbled, coated both of his hands in white fire and the very ground began to quake. Sesshi paused in his descent and saw more undead rising and adding to the number of slaughtered zombies. Thousands of dead soldiers emerged from the ground, popping hands up from the surface like off of some old horror film. Decayed, bony, skeletal, everything came back from the afterlife. Even a dead looking lord that wore mage robes.

Sesshi grumbled angrily at how Glao continued to underestimate his power. He lashed the glass sword out and sliced through zombie after zombie, it felt like there was no end to them. If he used Bakusaiga, they would just get back up again regardless of the corrosion! He needed to get rid of Glao if anything, the dead will continue to walk if not. So, deciding to brush past all of the dead, he jumped up and stomped onto an undead's head for a boost to take to the sky.

Glao was surrounded by his own dead underlings, hidden almost but he could still smell him nearby. "Your own scent will be the death of you!" he hollered, took notice of where his scent was and prepared an aerial attack.

Just before he could strike from above, the undead mage who stood in the far corner of the entire soldier army, did an incantation and made spears of lightning fly out after the lordship. Sesshi vanished out of sight to avoid being hit and raced after the mage. Glao saw that and watched from the sidelines, he stood in the shadows where a lot of his own underlings masked him due to how short he was. The undead mage did another incantation and made a giant sphere appear at its own feet, soon red lighting gleamed and lit up the area. With haste, Sessho appeared to the side of the mage and sliced it in half, at the same time, when the sphere made a long beam of red light spike up into the sky like a ray. Sessho was frozen in place, he couldn't move...

"An immobilization incantation?" His golden eyes were wide, no matter how hard he tried he couldn't move. He struggled, signs of him shaking were evident, his attempts to move were in vain and his golden eyes looked over at Glao irritably from his peripherals. He knew where he was, but he had to get rid of the mage somehow... Though recalling that the dead can't die again, he had a feeling that the mage was still up and working.

"Fox magic, if trained, can be quite formidable. Especially if the fox...is tactical. Falling into the mage's immobilization spell renders you vulnerable," Glao said and came walking out of the shadows. He outstretched his arms and ran after Sesshi from behind, keeping the fire on his hands.

"I see..." Time had slowed down for just that one moment and when Sesshi shut his eyes, his body turned into a ball of light. After time sped back up, he shot up towards the sky, caught Glao by surprise, and returned to his normal form right behind the fox.

"How did you...?!" Glao grew shocked at that and twisted around to claw at the lordship with his inflamed hands. Sessho easily avoided them and just when he made the fox miss by sidestepping, he swung his sword down at him. In half, he cut through Glao like butter and watched as his surprised purple eyes grew dead before falling flat on the ground, splitting in half.

Sesshi, after seeing that the fox finally keeled over with a half severed body, he noticed all of the undead falling too. "Hmph..." he sounded and closed his eyes with a quick flick of the glass blade. The blood on it splattered the ground and what was left on it, had vaporized from the heat it gave.

Without looking he sheathed the sword, then smirked before turning on his heel. Y/N's blade ended up being the one to claim victory in this battle. How amusing... he mentally noted and made his way to where the rest of the gang were.

Above him though, Kurimi herself flew past him and raced in the same direction. His eyes squinted at knowing what she planned on doing. He believed she was going to try and get ahead of him without him noticing, but alas she failed...or so he thought. He flew after her with the Ketix blade in hand and prepared to swipe at the woman. As soon as he got close enough and diagonally swung his blade out, she burst into hundreds of mosquitoes that got burned in the process. A clone of herself... he said in his mind and hovered in the air, looking around to try and find her. She's not around here, her scent is far ahead of me, close to where Y/N and the others are. he added.

"Do you think Sesshomaru's alright with that weird fox guy?" Sango questioned as she and everyone else stood guard outside of the building. She glanced over at Miroku and knitted her brows, only for Shippo to speak up.

"He has to be! That fox demon from earlier looked powerful, well, more powerful than me...anyway," Shippo said and looked off to the side with a frown.

"Whoever he is, his partner didn't join him in the fight... We have to keep on our toes!" Koga exclaimed and walked closer towards the three.

"Yeah, you never know when his partner's going to-" Before Miroku could finish, a feminine voice interrupted him and made all heads look up in its said direction.

"My, my, why are you all bunched up around a building like this? You act as though you're...protecting something, or someone.~" Kurimi was seen floating within a crowd of mosquitoes that held her in the air. She was smirking down at them with her needle-like stinger caressing her bottom lip.

Everyone got into a stance from sheer reflex, caution rose in their minds. "Why is a beautiful woman like you, siding with the enemy?" Miroku asked and narrowed his eyes. He clicked a button on is staff to turn on the lasers and aimed it at her just in case.

"Why thank you for the compliment! The reason is simple," Kurimi smirked and squinted her eyes at them. "I hate Queen Suji...~ My side of the family never liked the idea of our families merging due to marriage between her and my brother. My brother deserved someone that's much more suiting than her, Kurochi is a deceitful wench!" she hollered out with anger and clamped her teeth into view. Her eyes grew sharp with hatred and her pupils shrunk with rage. She truly hated the Queen... "Deceiving my family, letting him get killed in the war years ago, and-" before she got to finish, Sango butted in.

"So, you're saying she let him get killed in the war...? It sounds like to me that you're just blaming her for his death, even though Suji loved him to pieces! What makes you think she LET him? What in the world gave you that idea? Have you ever tried talking to her even after his death?!" Sango exclaimed and took a step forward with furious eyes. "I may not know her that much, but I do know what it's like to lose someone that's dear!" she added angrily.

Kurimi clicked her tongue then looked down on her with a furious glare and a curled upper lip. "Of course I didn't! It was obvious that she was a lying, heartless wench! Anyone could see that, even with blind eyes!" she yelled back and clenched her fists.

"What did she say or do, that made her a liar...? What made her heartless?" Miroku asked and Koga grumbled irritably with folded arms.

"She took my only sibling away, said they would be together forever, and even claimed no one will get hurt as long as her family was around protecting everyone in our family and within her kingdom!" Kurimi shouted and trembled with emotion.

"Even powerful warriors will have to die someday, may it be from natural causes or forced death by another! She did not lie! Look around you, she ordered the guards to have every citizen get put to safety and she even said so herself that she didn't want her people to get harmed!" Miroku explained and swatted out his free arm to one side with fury. This shocked Kurimi a bit, she dropped her jaw and widened her eyes at the news. "She would be out here defending her land from your master and you personally, if she didn't care about her people and her family! Instead, she stayed hidden with the citizens to protect them!" he finished and gritted his teeth into view. "She is a woman that goes by her own vows!" he added.

Kurimi's head had lowered, the shadow veiled over her eyes and hid them from sight while her frowning lips remained. "Even if I chose to change sides now... I will still be killed..." she said quietly and looked back at the gang with regretful and mournful eyes. "You're right...and I'm sorry, but I need to kill you all," she began and made countless clouds of mosquitoes to appear around her. "It's the Great Hateshiganai's orders..." she finished.

"That doesn't mean you can't join our side and help us in some possible way," Y/N's voice suddenly occurred and made everyone look over to the far side. They all gawked at her new and improved strong look. Now that she was under better lighting, her muscles looked a bit more defined, steam from heat radiated off of her form as if she just exited a hot oven, and walked towards Kurimi with a strict glare.

Her red, serious eyes were pinned on the mosquito woman, while she carried her pistols in both of her hands. That small cube was between her teeth on one side, so her clamped teeth were visible. Something about her seemed different, it felt like power was just pouring off of her body like the sun and its immense heat.

"Y/N?! What happened to you?!" Shippo asked with surprise and raced up to her. With the pistol in her hand, she lifted it up to the side and faced the side of her hand at the fox. He grew confused until he understood what she was saying, she was implying with that gesture, to stay back.

"I'll explain later...but for now, if she's persistent even after saying that then I'll fight her," she explained, not once moving her attention from the mosquito woman who seemed just as flabbergasted as the others. "I'll kick her ass if she hurts any of my friends..." she added darkly with a strong and low voice.
