Time: 1 year later

Percy woke up as usual. The cool air tingled his exposed skin, the blanket being shoved off the bed at some point during the night. A few rays of Apollo's light filtered in through the open window, followed by the chirping of birds. Olympus was lively as ever, it was the one year anniversary of Unicron's defeat, which marked the end of all evil on Earth.

'Not yet. As long as there is life, there is evil.' Percy looked at the asleep Thalia, before he turned over to the other side to see Artemis, her auburn hair spread out on the bed. Somewhere during the night, his shirt, which she was currently sporting, had slipped, revealing her ample breasts. He adjusted his shirt with a smile, making a smile appear on Artemis' asleep face.

Percy stood up, covering them with the blanket on the floor. Immediately the two daughters of Zeus cuddled up with each other, each seeking Percy's warmth.

Smiling, Percy walked down to the kitchen downstairs. He had replaced his palace in Olympus with his house in Mt. Iacon, seeing as all the other Transformers had also shifted to Olympus.

Outside, the day was bright. The nymphs were always the first ones up, rising as soon as Apollo went up. They were playing with each other, some braiding their hair. A lizard basked in the sun on a tree, it scuttled away as a nymph ran past it, chased by her friend. Olympus was beginning to stir, Percy could see his dad going out for his morning jog in Bermuda shorts and a Hawaiian shirt, while Aphrodite went out on her 'jog' in full make-up and a designer dress.

Percy snorted as he started the nectar machine, clad only in his dark blue boxers. He opened the 'Olympus Today' newspaper, magically delivered by Hermes, and leaned against the counter to read. Apparently, Ares had challenged Hephaestus to a duel, again. A random Huntress had castrated Hercules, again.

The nectar machine beeped, and Percy put down the newspaper to take the jug, drinking straight out of the jug. He took one sip, savouring the taste of his mother's blue cookies. He raised the jug to his lips for a second sip, before the world turned black.

Back with Artemis and Thalia

Artemis woke up pressed up against her sister. Percy was nowhere to be seen. This we nothing new, he suffered from PTSD, often waking up in the middle of the night, and decided he would go for a walk. The goddess took some time to get used to the light, before her sleepy mind recognized Apollo's light, signal that it was morning.

Hearing the cheering and music outside, Artemis jumped out of bed, waking Thalia in the process. "Thalia, it is the one year anniversary of Unicron's defeat today! Remember Percy told us that he had prepared a surprise for us today!"

Normally, Thalia would have grumbled and gone back to sleep, not waking up till late in the morning. However, today was different, because, if she had learned one thing about Percy, its that his surprises were AWESOME, and pleasurable, yeah, that too.

Thalia joined her sister as Artemis snapped her fingers, dressing them in their regular attire as they bounded down the stairs.

Downstairs was eerily quiet. Normally, Percy would sing as he prepared breakfast, or the television would be on. His failed attempt at suspense brought a smile to the moon goddess' face. The two stalked towards the dining room, where Percy was sure to be. They stepped silently on the floor, determined to give him the scare of his life.

Artemis could not explain what happened next, no matter how hard she tried. Thalia had just turned the corner, when she came face to face with a prostate Percy laying on the ground. With a scream of horror, she went to kneel beside her lover, while Artemis stood there, horrified and dumbstruck.

Percy was lying face down on the floor, drawing laboured breaths. His eyes were closed, and it did not seem as if he could respond. The jar of nectar has spilt onto the ground, still steaming hot. Steam curled up from the spilt godly fluid. Percy's head had fallen on the puddle of hot nectar, causing mild burns on his face.

"APOLLO!" Artemis screeched, before she too went to kneel beside Percy. A few seconds later, the sun god flashed in with a golden flash, and started, "Hey, sis...WTF HAS HAPPENED TO HIM?" He joined them beside Percy. Without a second word, he flashed them all away.

As the golden light died down, Artemis saw that they were in Apollo's hospital. The sun god was already up and about, connecting a tube pumping nectar to his arm, applying crushed ambrosia to his burns, and hooking him up to a couple of sophisticated machines.

Thalia sat beside Percy on the bed, holding his trembling hand. Artemis stood at the foot of the bed, feeling like an idiot as she stood there, just trying to process the whole thing.

"He has been poisoned," Apollo concluded, after a quick five-minute check-up.

"But...we were around him always."

Not paying attention to Artemis' words, Apollo shouted at the top of his lungs. "SOUNDWAVE!" Immediately, a space bridge opened up beside them, and the summoned Decepticon stepped through.

He took one glance at Percy, before he started speaking, in his robotic voice. "Someone has poisoned the core of Cybertron with Dark Energon. We have dispatched all units at once to eliminate the perpetrator."

"But..."

"Percy is Cybertron," Apollo spoke, as he sat down heavily on a chair he had summoned out of thin air. Soundwave remained standing where he had been.

Percy suddenly gasped for breath, his chest heaving. A machine started beeping, while another flashed red. Apollo's eyes widened, as Artemis' heart sank. She didn't need to be a doctor to know that it couldn't be anything good.

"I have to get to work," Apollo said, his voice suddenly cold and emotionless. He ushered Artemis and Thalia out, while Soundwave followed them of his own accord. He went back in, closing and locking the door so he wouldn't be disturbed.

Artemis stood in the corridor dumbfounded, along with her sister, and a cold 'con. Suddenly, the gravity of the situation hit her, and she felt tears welling up in her eyes. She felt herself being seated by Soundwave beside Thalia, before he disappeared. Thalia engulfed her in a warm hug, and the two sisters comforted each other.

Meanwhile, with the Transformers

"Shockwave, which way?" Shouted Ironhide, who was one of those leading the large group through the maze of secrete tunnels that lay under the surface of Cybertron.

"150 metres straight, then right. Follow the road for some time and it should lead us to the core chamber." Shockwave listed off immediately, as if he were the depressed voice from Google Maps.

Megatron snorted, but boosted forward anyway, knowing that time was of great essence in their situation. Every second counted, where one second late could mean the end of their planet. "And the end of our brother, lord and saviour." Optimus had reminded them.

They swerved into the side street, the cold metal looming over them. Normally, it was quite warm here, but it was almost as if the planet was retreating all heat to its core, trying to keep its poisoned heart beating. They could already see the energon poisoning, where dark purple trails of light intermixed with the soothing light blue.

They soon came to a crossroads. They had come through one road, the road in their front was blocked with a cyberformium wall. Two more roads branched to the sides, going off and further dividing into more streets.

Shockwave transformed, and knocked on the wall with his cannon arm. "It's locked," Cliffjumper said, stating the obvious.

"I'm going to see if I can hack the wall to get it to open. This road should lead to the Champer of Knights, which is the entrance to the core."

"Two teams divide, and go to the other two roads. Try to find another way in. Laserbeak and Ravage will guide you." Soundwave finished the plan for him. Laserbeak and Ravage were already detached, and waiting for their respective teams.

Almost on instinct, the Autobots and Decepticons divided, led by Optimus Prime and Megatron respectively. Team 1 remained behind with Shockwave as they sped off into the darkness.

Normally, this part should have been the most illuminated. It was worrying to see the planet turn off the internal lightning of its own accord, trying to conserve energy.

Shockwave and Soundwave together plugged several wires into sockets in the wall, and went blank for a while. When they spoke again, it was an hour later. They detached all the wires. Silently, and quite gracefully, the wall swung open, granting them entrance to the dark chamber.

It was pitch dark inside, and they had to switch on their respective headlights to see, though it did not provide much light, being engulfed by the endless abyss of the chamber of Knights.

They had spent half an hour trying to navigate through the massive chamber, when the lights suddenly turned on. "The fuck..." Hound muttered, when Shockwave said, "The planet has just received an extra burst of energy. This can't be good."

"Why..." Before the confused Autobot could complete his question, Shockwave had moved on. Drift shrugged at Hound, before he followed him, too.

"Woah." Was the only word Hound could utter, on seeing the Chamber of Knights. It was so large that the top remained in the darkness, even when the lights were running. Hound had no doubt that the entire Mt. Olympus could fit in it. Around the Chamber, were different statues of gods, demigods, Hunters and Transformers alike. The only blemish was the numerous deactivated automatons littered across the ground.

At one end, was a massive statue of Hot Rod, holding Anaklusmos, the tip of the blade embedded in the ground. His head was bowed, in a show of respect to the planet's core. "Bow before the statue of you wish to live," Shockwave warned, before he himself bowed, and stepped through its legs.

The whole team followed his example, before they too entered the Core chamber.

It was smaller as compared to the chamber of Knights, and looked even smaller because of the enormous blue sphere occupying most of its space. The blue sphere swirled with power, like a tempest. The only sign that something was wrong was the increasing purple blotch.

Oh, and did I forget to mention that it was in absolute chaos?

Several Unicron spawns were scattered around the chamber, shooting at some Transformers who had managed to enter before them. The Transformers had taken shelter behind an empty throne, which was massive enough to shelter all of them. They took some attempts, blindly shooting at the spawns.

Ironhide, spurred on by the battle, opened fire on the unsuspecting Unicron spawns, making Shockwave facepalm as they lost the element of surprise. He took out twelve spawns with one shot of his cannons.

As the US (Unicron spawns lol XD) realised that they were surrounded, some of them turned to fire at Team 1, making them scatter as they continued firing. Meanwhile, gaining a new boost of confidence at the arrival of their comrades, the hiding Transformers also entered the fray, taking down US one by one. At the same time, the last team arrived, led by Ravage.

As the Transformers proceeded to tear through the US, they realised that even though they were winning, and the US seemed to be weaker, there were still too many to count. Apparently, Shockwave concluded, Primus had killed the body, and the mind had manifested like this in a last-ditch attempt to corrupt Primus' body and make it theirs.

Every time a US was killed, two more replaced them, until slowly, the Transformers started running out of ammo, and had to switch to close combat. They were slowly getting separated, and slowly overwhelmed.

Hound kept firing at the approaching sea. Soon, he felt himself unconsciously take steps back as the spawns approached, unstoppable.

In the heat of the battle, he felt himself pressed against a familiar chassis. He smirked. "Ironhide." Just one word would suffice.

Behind him, Ironhide smirked as he heard Hound. "Duck!" He warned the Transformers once, before he activated his special ability, boosting both his and Hound's firepower. "BACK TO BACK!"

Hound wielded two machineguns, while Ironhide's cannons opened constant fire. Thousands upon thousands of bullets and explosions lit up the area, decimating quite a good part of the US.

Or at least, it helped them get a breather.

Ironhide's face paled and his shoulders drooped as he saw how many were still left. "Combiners?" He said, despondently.

"There's no space!" Optimus shouted, before they resumed hacking away at the US.

Drift was an absolute beast with his dual-wielding swords. He sliced a head off, ducked, slicing another's torso, before dropkicking a third. He stabbed the fallen one, ducked, and stabbed another one, before he stabbed two at once. He rolled, slicing three in the process. Upright again, he stabbed one, before turning around and slicing a head off as he stabbed another. He sliced a last one, before he threw a knife at a spawn trying to sneak up on Barricade. It landed between the eyes, and the spawn died immediately.

Barricade nodded in acknowledgement, before he ran off to help Mixmaster. Drift looked around, and ran off to Midnight Express.

Bombshell was also contributing immensely, setting off massive explosions in the congested areas, clearing large numbers of US at once. The Transformers always checked to steer clear of the crazy 'con. There was no telling who might die in an explosion.

Emperor Deathsaurus was also contributing much. He relied on pure strength, swinging his pickaxe blindly, hoping that the other Transformers would have enough sense to stay away from him.

Meanwhile, Optimus and Megatron were fighting back to back, each covering the other's blind spot. Optimus stabbed a US through the head, transforming his hand into a gun, then shooting the next one. On the other side, Megatron blasted two with a single blast of his hand cannon, before punching the head clean off one.

But still, there were too many.

The battle had gone on for too long.

Shockwave suddenly shouted. "Ironhide, Emperor Deathsaurus, anybody, try to throw a spawn through the main entrance!"

Not questioning him, Motormaster, who was near the door, flung a live US in his grip through the door.

Almost immediately, everybody was hit with the realization.

There was a rule, that while exiting the core chamber, one must walk backwards. In this way, one never turned their back on the planet.

A deep rumbling resonated through the chamber. The last guard was awake. The massive, towering statue of Hot Rod in the Chamber of Knights came to life. It was almost as large as Metroplex. As it wrenched its sword free from the ground, everybody felt a minor earthquake- Cybertron-quake?

It somehow managed to squeeze through the entrance, and into the Core Chamber. However, one inside, it had to crouch to fit.

Thankfully, it was slow. And so were the US. Thankfully, they were too dumb to realise what we going on, and attacked the last protector, as the Transformers hastened to exit through the other two entrances.

As the US crawled up its surface trying to reach the enormous titan's head. And the enormous Hot Rod just looked at them with contempt, if it was even possible for an automaton.

Soundwave and Shockwave led everyone through the maze of tunnels back to the surface, as fast as their vehicle forms would carry them. The aerial bots and 'cons has already gone forward. They just had to get to the surface before...that happened.

A blinding white light filled the tunnel, before everybody was blown forward, an enormous shockwave resembling a nuclear bomb going off behind them. By default, they transformed back to their not forms for a smooth landing, but all they got was a hard landing on metal chassis, cold floor, or slamming into a wall.

Once everyone had managed to untangle themselves, an hour later, a smile adorned everyone's face as they realised that they had succeeded in their quest. The tunnels were warm again, as the body of a massive human, and the pure blue light given off by walls were not diluted anymore by the purple light.

Soundwave opened a space bridge and everyone steeped through one by one, once they had finished rejoicing and congratulating themselves on saving the planet.

They appeared in Apollo's place, making the narrow corridor crowded. In one corner, they saw Artemis and Thalia sitting. From their state, it was evident that they had finished crying their eyes out. Soundwave stepped in, presumably to tell Apollo of their success.

It took them quite some time to come out, an agonizing few minutes for the assembled group.

Apollo stepped out, Soundwave nowhere in sight. Artemis stood up with a smile on her face. "They succeeded Apollo. Unicron is dead. Everything is fine!" She started, before her excitement dwindled seeing her brother's state. "What happened Apollo?" All the nervousness was coming back.

Apollo's head was down, his blonde hair dishevelled. Dried tear stains marked his face. His shirt was open, but not in a seductive way. More like he had ripped his shirt in anger. The buttons were missing. His usual cheerful smile was gone.

"No." Artemis covered her mouth, shaking her head, not believing him. Behind her, Thalia had again started sobbing.

"Percy sacrificed himself to save us. Don't worry, he's still alive, but he is in a deep sleep." Apollo said, before adding. "From which he'll most probably never wake."

Artemis rushed in, followed by her twin and Thalia. In the bed that Percy had once occupied, lay only his bronze arm. "No.." She felt tears welling up in her eyes, before suddenly, a felt extremely nauseous, and vomited on the ground, kneeling beside Percy's bed.

Apollo kneeled beside her with wide eyes, "Artemis, are...are you pregnant?!" He whispered.

It was then that Thalia decided that the time was ripe to join Artemis vomiting on the ground.

Just a few minutes later, the whole of Olympus broke into Apollo's compound.
