"Is anybody hurt?" Leon asked.
Leon, Angel, and Connor watched as their city was taken over by the creatures. The creatures captured many of its residents to be rounded up for their leader. Although barely escaping with only each other behind their backs, the group still had Sacana, albeit not strong enough to take whoever captured their city.
"No, not me," Angel said.
"I'm fine," Connor said.
Connor went to contact the soldiers who escaped.
"No one's answering." He said.
"We trained for this," Leon said. "They should be meeting up at the Wenja tribe."
The three arrived at Wenja village. No other Storm Soldiers came to meet them.
"Leon, what are you doing here?" Newton asked.
"Sanctuary's been taken over by the ponies! They were led by some weird creature that's part goat, part lion, part dragon, part of- whatever he's made of!"
"Sanctuary?" Newton asked.
"Oh, that's right we forgot," Connor said.
"We renamed the Storm City into Sanctuary as to not confuse names," Angel said.
"Okay," Newton said after a short pause.
"We're here to see if there are any survivors of Sanctuary who have fled here."
"We haven't seen them," Newton said.
"Rats."
"I got it. Send a broadcast signal to tell everyone to meet you here." Unikitty said.
After sending out a call to arms to every Storm Soldier who had fled Sanctuary, the group planned on what to do next.
"I say all of us sneak in there and get information on that creature that attacked you guys!" Unikitty said.
"Better plan. One of us head into Sanctuary. Which I will go in case you were wondering." The writer said. "They don't know me as much as any of you guys."
"Oh come on!" Unikitty said. "My plan is the best!"
Unikitty was outvoted.
"Alright, let's do it your way." She groaned.
The writer arrived in Sanctuary the day after the ponies took over. Captured Storm Soldiers were forced to denounce escaped Storm Soldiers in a broadcast. The writer saw the two sister alicorns leading the ponies.
"They're back again. Solas and Lunis." The writer said through his earpiece.
"I knew it," Leon replied.
"Too risky to engage. Plan B?"
"Affirmative."
Plan B was to weaken the outer defenses of Sanctuary to make an easy break-in. Similar to the flying city he and Peter infiltrated earlier, a magical barrier was set up to protect Sanctuary. This time from six ponies. The writer arrived at the first pony. A large male earth pony dressed in Scandinavian attire approached him.
"That's not for you to mess around boy." He said in a Scottish accent. "I am Axe. One of the six Pillars."
"Pillars? You got to work on the names." The writer said.
Axe was furious. "You will not destroy friendship!"
"Your anger and lust for strength have already done that."
Axe took out a large battleaxe. He leaped up into the air and crashed down with the ax. The writer dodged the attack.
"Time to fight fire with fire." The writer said, taking out his phone.
The Dual Glaive appeared on the writer's hand. With one swipe, he knocked the ax out of Axe's hooves. Axe then tackled the writer into a wall.
"Take this!" Axe said, giving a punch.
The writer ducked the punch as he slid under Axe. He grabbed the Dual Glaive. As Axe charged for him, the writer swung and stabbed the former in the chest. The barrier surrounding Sanctuary was slightly weakened.
The writer then moved to the second of the Six Pillars. A female pegasus pony in Egyptian attire was meditating when the writer interrupted her.
"I know you. You are with Peter in the flying city."
The writer stared into her eyes.
"I am Pharah, one of the Six Pillars. As punishment for releasing the destroyer of friendship into the world, you will feel my wrath."
Pharah didn't have any weapons with her. This made her an easy victim of the Writer's Dual Glaive.
"Two down. Four to go." The writer reminded himself as he approached the third Pillar. A female unicorn in Japanese attire arrived with bottles of perfume. She gave a bow to the writer. Not wanting to be rude, the writer returned the bow.
"Greetings, young one."
"Um, greetings?" The writer replied.
"That sword in your hand. Where did you get it?"
"I bought it." The writer said.
"Impossible. There is no way you bought a double edge sword. Unless you killed a mare for it."
"No."
"I am Mist. One of the six Pillars. You murdered one of our kind. And you will breathe my mist."
A cloud of perfume flew into the writer's face. Almost like a smoke bomb, the writer retreated from the range. Mist then blasted jolts of magic to which the writer blocked.
"Ha! That was too easy!"
Mist had an idea. She gave another blast that knocked the sword out of the writer's hands. As the writer ran for the blade, he was lifted into the air my Mist.
"Imbecile. Without your weapon, you're just as weak as the Storm Realm."
The writer was then launched into a wall by Mist's magic. The Dual Glaive he wielded was broken in half.
"Any last words?" Mist stated.
SHHK!
An arrow was lodged onto Mist's chest. Unikitty ran up to the writer on his side.
"You okay?" She asked.
The writer was confused as he got up. "Aren't you supposed to wait while Leon rallies the troops?"
"I'm not letting you do this alone," Unikitty argued. "I spoke with Leon about this."
The writer's earpiece was smashed during his fight with Axe. That could explain why he didn't get the message.
"Okay, we only have 3 Pillars left." The writer said.
"There are six Pillars?" Unikitty asked with question.
"We need to take them down if we want to get into Sanctuary."
The three remaining Pillars were notified of the deaths of Mist, Axe, and Pharah. The leader of the six, a unicorn gifted with magic named Merlin stepped up with his two remaining Pillars. A Roman male pegasus named Magnus and a female shaman earth pony named Meadow. They ambushed Unikitty and the Writer just as the two were heading to their next location.
"You have disrupted the meaning of friendship for the last time!" Merlin stated. "We are three of the six Pillars. And you will not stop us!"
The two readied themselves.
"Let's go!" The writer said.
Unikitty started by firing arrows at a dizzying rate. Unfortunately for Meadow, it struck her first. Magnus was met with a stab in the chest from the Writer's Dual Glaive.
"No!" Merlin yelled.
"Give it up, Pillar." The writer said.
Merlin used his magic to blast at the writer, the latter blocked it with his sword. Unikitty shot her bow, but Merlin blocked it with his magic barrier.
"It's no use! We can't beat him!" Unikitty said.
"That's right, girl," Merlin said. "There's no escape from my magic! Tough cookies!"
"What?" Unikitty said.
"It's a figure of speech. You know what it means?"
"No, not really."
"Well, it means-"
Merlin was stabbed in the back by the writer.
"There. That's all six of the Pillars." The writer said.
"Kind of a short battle don't you think?" Unikitty said.
"We got to go. They're gonna find out what we did if we stay for long."
When the writer and Unikitty got back, an army of Storm Soldiers was gearing up for battle. Leon and Connor helped with setting up the coordinates.
"Are we ready?" The writer asked.
"Did you lower the barrier?"
"Lowered and ready!" Unikitty said.
"Then let's go!" Leon said. "We have rallied the troops and now we take back Sanctuary!"
"Yeah!" Every remaining troop member yelled.
The troops arrived at Sanctuary to launch their attack.
"Alright, everyone!" Connor called. "Form up on the king!"
Everyone stood behind Leon.
"CHARGE!" He shouted.
The troops charged at such a speed. Strangely enough, taking back Sanctuary was easier done than said. As the group arrived at the Storm Castle, they saw not the chaotic creature who took Sanctuary from them, but the two alicorn sisters.
"Where is he?" Leon demanded.
"Discord? Well, he launched his attack on the world where Peter came from." Solas said.
"Oh no..." The writer said.
Leon cast a spell using Sacana, to which Solas shielded.
"Flanking!" One of the soldiers said as he ran past the shield.
Lunis saw this and blasted magic at the soldier, killing him.
"Keep them pinned!" Connor shouted.
As Solas shielded the bullets, Lunis charged up her magic beam, knocking back everyone to the ground.
"Just as I predicted," Solas said. "You're too weak. Even with Newton killing the six I didn't expect him to be this weak."
As Leon struggled to get back up, he was blasted down again by Solas. Newton got up without the sister's notice and charged tackled Lunis. Lunis shoved him to a pillar in the castle.
"Ready sister?" Solas said.
"Ready."
Both of them walked up to Newton and prepared to finish him off. But Newton just stood there, expecting the inevitable. A blast of magic shot out from the alicorns' horns. Newton got up while taking in the magic at the same time.
"What? It's not affecting him!" Lunis said.
It hit the observing troops.
"I know what he's doing! I know what he's doing!" Leon exclaimed.
Newton absorbed every single puff of magic from the alicorns. With a white aura surrounding him, his eyes fully blue, he spoke in a thunderous voice.
"GET AWAY... FROM MY FRIENDS!" He yelled as blasted a giant beam of pure energy, instantly killing the two alicorn sisters.
As the remaining troops took back their home from the creatures, they saw a bright light coming from the castle. They went over to investigate. Newton was left wondering what happened. Before he knew it, everyone dogpiled him while cheering at the same time.
"What was that, Newton? That was incredible!" Leon said.
"I, I don't know," Newton replied.
"Judging by our fight with the Wenja tribe and right now, I guess Newton has a special kind of power that no other unicorn has," Connor said.
"But I can't cast magic!"
"Maybe you can absorb countless amounts of magic and blast it all back them," Angel said.
"Is that what you're summarizing?" Newton asked.
"Yep!"
The remaining creatures fled after a short battle. Those that didn't were captured and ready to be imprisoned.
"Now we need to help the wounded," Leon said.
As the prisoners were being escorted to their cells, one prisoner, a female pegasus, laughed.
"What's so funny?" A soldier said.
"It was all a diversion."
"What?"
"The world where Newton has fled to? This was all a distraction."
The soldier ran off to talk to his superior officer. That officer went to talk to Connor.
"We'll send them on their way," Connor assured.
Leon, Angel, Newton, Unikitty, and the Writer discussed with each other about Newton's sudden power.
"I don't notice anything wrong with him," Leon said. "Aside from the different eyes."
"Hey!" Newton yelled.
"I'm not sure about Newton either," Unikitty said. "Do you notice anything strange about yourself?"
"I keep getting these dreams of the six blasting their magic onto you and me arriving to redirect the magic back at them."
Connor arrived at Leon.
"Sir, the world where Peter came from has been taken over by the chaotic creature we saw."
"What?!" Everyone said.
"Word from one of our prisoners state that this battle was all a diversion."
"We have to head back." The writer said.
"And we'll stay behind to make sure these prisoners stay in their cells this time," Leon said.
Newton and Unikitty joined the Writer as he wrote a line on his phone. They disappeared in a bright flash of light.
"I wish you luck..." Angel said.
