Draco had made no attempt to contact me and continuously tried to avoid me. I tried desperately to reach out to him whether it was in classes, in the hallways, or in the Great Hall.

Every time I approached the Slytherin table he would get up and leave. I tried to find him, but he just ended up disappearing every single time.

I even talked to Blaise who told me that he needed some space. Ginny and Athena were giddy over the fact the Malfoy had finally admitted his feelings to me. I wasn't as happy as them, not because I didn't feel the same way, but because he was ignoring me.

Though I had no idea what I would have said if I had even gotten the opportunity to talk to him. There was so much to say that couldn't be put into words.

Athena, Ginny, Luna, Neville, and I were walking up the halls when we saw McGonagall putting up fliers along the walls along with Hermione and Malfoy. Some other youngers kids were helping out as well.

"What's going on?" asked Ginny to Hermione.

Malfoy turned around at the voice, making eye contact with me as he scurried down the hall to put up more fliers somewhere I was not.

It hurt, I had to admit. Somehow I actually found myself missing the git a little bit. His stupid and annoying remarks. His flirtatious comments and the way he could make my cheeks heat up effortlessly.

I actually missed it git.

"Oh, we're putting up fliers for the Christmas Ball" said Hermione. "Before everyone goes home for the holidays we're holding a ball."

"That's cool" commented Athena.

"Yeah so I hope you guys can make it" said Hermione as she continued to put up fliers on the walls.

All of us walked away from Hermione, letting her continue her job. "So who are you all going with?" asked Ginny.

"Well, I think it's kind of obvious that I'm going with Athena" said Luna.

"Well your going to have to ask me first" replied Athena sassily.

"Okay then love" Luna said making Athena's eyes soften and her face light up with a smile. It was clear she loved the nickname. It was adorable.

"The cuteness level is over 9000" I whispered to Ginny as she nodded, agreeing with me.

"So my love, will you go to the ball with me?" asked Luna in a calm and serene voice, yet full of love and passion.

"Of course I will" said Athena pulling Luna into a passionate kiss. They reluctantly pulled away, remembering that the rest of us were here.

"What about you Neville?" asked Ginny.

"Well I'm going to have to asked Blaise or he's going to have to ask me, right?" said Neville.

One thing I forgot to mention.

Neville and Blaise were official.

I had never seen Neville so happy before. They were going strong and I knew that the relationship would last. They both looked so in love with each other.

When they came out as a couple in public, many people were in disbelief. For one, many girls did not know that Blaise was gay, but everyone was very accepting. It's not like anyone cared about sexuality in the school, just like blood status.

"Yes, are you going to ask?" I asked in curiosity.

"Well, I was the one who asked him out so I'm going to let him handle this one" Neville said and I laughed.

"Your choice Neville" sang Ginny.

"What about you Gin?" I asked since Harry most likely would not be able to come.

"Oh, I'll just go by myself. I don't want to go with another guy and make it seem like I'm cheating or anything" explained Ginny. "It sucks that Harry can't make it though."

"Yeah it does suck, what about you Addy?" asked Athena who was walking hand in hand with Luna.

"Probably going to go alone as well" I said which shocked Athena.

"You can't go alone" she protested.

"What why not?" I scoffed.

"Because you" she pointed at me, "a single girl needs to meet someone and go to a dance with someone."

"I don't like how your saying I need a man" I said to Athena.

"I'm not implying you need one. I'm just saying it would be nice to see you out and about" clarified Athena.

"Well who would I go with?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know maybe some like" she mused around, "Malfoy."

"He won't even talk to me" I laughed in disbelief. "Why would I go with him anyways? Actually, why would you want me to go with him anyways?"

"He'll ask you, just give it time" said Athena.

"I don't believe that" I shook my head.

"Maybe, you never know" sang Ginny.

"Why can't I just go with you Ginny?" I asked.

"I mean you could, but I would say no" she replied.

I scoffed, "what?! You would reject me" I feigned hurt.

"Yes, because I want you to go with someone you like."

I rolled my eyes. "Fine" I groaned.

"I will wait for someone to ask me, but if no one does then I will be going by myself" I said.

"Fine with me" said Athena.

"I am allowed to reject people though, I can reject people that I don't like" I pointed a finger at her.

"Yes you can" she rolled her eyes.

"Perfect" I chirped.

I could just reject every single person who asked me.

--

I walked down the halls to Astronomy class.

I arrived there, a bit early. I sat at my table, waiting for Athena and Neville to show up. In a few minutes Neville arrived and Athena was fashionably late.

She got 5 points taken away from Ravenclaw.

"Today you will be put in groups of two and assigned a constellation. You will do research on it and present in front of the class" Professor Sinistra announced to the class.

Every spoke in murmurs, understanding the lesson and the assignment.

"Okay" she cleared her throat. "The groups."

"Mr.Longbottom and Mr.Malfoy" she said. "You will be given the constellation Lyra."

"Ms.Blackwood and Mr.Finnigan" she announced. "You are assigned the constellation of Orion."

"Ms.Granger and Mr.Fletchley" she said. "You are assigned the constellation of Sirius."

The list went on until I finally heard my name.

"Ms.Wood and Ms.Parkinson" she said and I closed my eyes at the horrible luck I had. I took a sharp breath, calming myself. I took everything in me, not to protest. "You will be assigned the constellation of, Draco."

I inwardly screamed at myself of the coincidence of the situation. It was like Professor Sinistra had done this on purpose and just wanted to make my life a living hell.

There were snickers heard from the entire class as I groaned, banging my head on the table. "Anything the matter?" asked Professor Sinistra to me.

I gave her a sickly sweet smile, "Nothing."

I turned to Pansy who had her arms linked with Malfoy's no matter how many times he tried to unlink them. Pansy gave me a harsh glared that I returned with equal hostility.

"When my life couldn't get any worse" I turned to Neville and Athena who were giving me sympathetic looks.

Athena burst into laughter and I gave her a look that told her to shut the fuck up. "I'm sorry" she wiped a tear, "but the irony."

"I hate life" I grumbled as I moved from my table to sit next to Pansy who was still clinging to Malfoy.

"What are you doing here?" she sneered, clinging to Malfoy harder.

"We're partners Parkinson" I told her. "Did you not here?"

"I thought I was having a nightmare" she said laughing her shrill cackle. I grimaced as I saw Malfoy's face contort to the same.

"Malfoy can you get up? I got to work on this thing with Parkinson" I said.

He gave me a look that I couldn't decipher. Maybe he was grateful?

"No" she whined. "Don't leave Drakeyy."

I scratched my head at the awkward aura as Malfoy got up, roughly unlinking arms with Parkinson, much to her dismay, as he made his way over to Neville who was waiting patiently.

"Okay, let's get started" I said putting my books down.

"We" she said in disbelief. "No I am not doing this project with you, you're going to be doing it all by yourself."

This was the one thing that we could agree on because in all seriousness I would have rather pitched myself off the Astronomy tower then have her help on the project.

"Okay" I said. "Just so you know we're doing the constellation Draco."

Her ears perked up at Malfoy's name. "There's a constellation named after Drakey?"

"No, he's named after a constellation" I clarified.

"Oh" she gushed. "When I thought he couldn't get any better. He has a constellation named after him" she held her heart.

"I know a lot about Draco" she said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes, just leave it to me" she said jotting ideas down in her notebook.

That was one thing, I was not doing. She could do whatever she wanted with the project while I did it correctly.

I have no idea what she was planning, but I knew it would most likely not be anything related to how the project was supposed to be done.

I already knew a lot about Astronomy and the constellations. I would have this presentation in the bag.

I got up to grab a few different books about the constellations, sifting through the pages for specific information on the constellation.

I already knew that Draco was Latin for dragon even though the constellation looked nothing like a dragon, but who am I to judge?

I came across an interesting story about the constellation. It was a Greek myth about what inspired the constellations name.

A dragon in Greek mythology that may have inspired the constellation's name is Ladon, the dragon who guarded the golden apples of the Hesperides. Heracles killed Ladon during his 12 labors; he was tasked with stealing the golden apples. The constellation of Hercules is depicted near Draco.

I had learned a good amount of information on the constellation while Pansy was next to me doodling drawings of her marrying Malfoy and slaughtering me.

What was weird to me was the pictures of her killing me didn't irk me at all. It was the pictures of her marrying Malfoy that made me feel something odd in my stomach.

I didn't like it. It was like an uncomfortable churning in my stomach that made me grimace. It was weird. I had no idea why I was feeling it.

I don't know why, but I had an urge to rip the paper and tear it into shreds, but I mean who wouldn't. She didn't even draw well, it looked like chicken scratch.

The period had gone by extremely fast. I hadn't even realized that everyone was getting ready to leave and pack up. It was only when Professor Sinistra announced that it was time to go that I had stopped what I was doing.

The books that I had used were marked up with pieces of parchment and I had about 6 feet of parchment with notes on it.

I knew Pansy was going to be useless in this project, so might as well have enough information to ensure that we pass.

Everyone was gone from the classroom and I was slowly packing up my things, reviewing my notes.

I heard a yell, it was Athena's voice telling my to hurry my ass up. I chuckled and shook my head as I ran to her and Neville.
