In spite of being in the afternoon, the sky over the Temple of the Air Island was completely covered by black clouds that swirled around a point.
Over the island, Korra was in the Avatar state, casting a look of anger and rage at Shredder, who was a little amazed at the power shown by the light in his eyes.
"So that's the Avatar State? As Hakan told me, it is when the spirits of all the Avatars unite into one, thus increasing his power, but if the Avatar were to die during that state, the Avatar's cycle would be destroyed. I can't kill her while she's like that, so I'll have to force her out of that state before I kill her." Shredder thought, preparing for the fight.
"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS, SHREDDER!" shouted Korra in pure rage.
"Go ahead! Show me all your power!" Shredder shouted.
The two let out a battle cry as they threw themselves at each other.
Karai was having trouble keeping Tiger Claw's machete out of her face. Her strength was diminishing by the second as a sinister smile formed on the mutant tiger's face.
"Now that your dear brother is gone, this will be the end for you." said Tiger Claw.
"Not while I am around!" Tiger Claw raised his head in time to receive a direct kick in the face, sending him away from the kunoichi.
Karai saw an outstretched hand and was surprised to see that it belonged to Jinora.
"Do you need a hand?" Jinora asked.
Karai took her hand and she helped her up.
"Thank you, but what are you doing here?" Karai asked.
"Rockwell told me you were fighting Tiger Claw and I wanted to make sure you were okay." Jinora explained.
"Go away. Tiger Claw is a dangerous opponent. You can't beat him." Karai said.
"Neither will you unless you let me help you." Jinora said.
Both girls turned around in time to see Tiger Claw recovering from the surprise attack. The two girls looked at each other and nodded in agreement.
"I may not be able to defeat you alone, Tiger Claw, but I always have one thing you will never have." said Karai.
"Friends to support you." said Jinora as she and the kunoichi prepared for the fight.
"As you wish. Then you'll die together as friends." said Tiger Claw before he pulled out his two guns and began firing, forcing them to separate to avoid the shots.
Karai lunged at him, forcing him to swap his right hand gun for his machete and begin an exchange of swords. They spent a few seconds blocking or dodging each other's sword attacks, but that left Tiger Claw open for Jinora to enter and throw a wave of cutting wind at him, which he dodged by jumping backwards.
Tiger Claw threw himself at Jinora with the intention of cutting her, but she ducked to avoid him before throwing him an air current that pushed him back. Before he could attack again, Karai jumped at him with her sword high, but he blocked her with his machete before pushing her away from him.
Seeing that he was at a numerical disadvantage, Tiger Claw activated his jet pack and flew into the air while firing a round of shots at them with his two guns.
Karai and Jinora dodged the shots while throwing air currents or shurikens with the intention of knocking him down, but Tiger Claw managed to dodge all the attacks while laughing at his advantage.
"There has to be a way to bring him down." Karai said as she dodged another shot.
Jinora was quiet for a while dodging the mutant tiger's shots until an idea popped into her head.
"I have an idea, but I need you to trust me." Jinora said.
Karai gave the young airbender a confident smile. "You know I do." Karai said, bringing a smile to the young airbender's face.
Both dodged a couple of shots before Jinora manipulated the air around Karai's legs and then threw her at Tiger Claw like a cannonball.
Tiger Claw wasn't prepared for such a move and received a punch from Karai and then, in an acrobatic way, Karai passed over him and being behind him, cut his jet-pack with the sword as she fell to the ground.
Karai landed on the ground, while she and the young airbender watched Tiger Claw fly uncontrollably through the air. Without meaning to, he flew directly to Jinora who waited for the right moment to hit him with a strong air current that sent him crashing against a wall, falling later unconscious to the ground.
"Yes!" exclaimed Jinora with joy before the five of them collided with Karai.
It was then that the two of them realized that the clouds were acting strangely.
"What's going on?" asked Karai.
Jinora was silent until she felt something that made her worry.
"It's Korra. She's entered the Avatar State." Jinora said with concern.
"If that's true, she must be in trouble." said Karai.
"We have to go help her." Jinora said.
"But we can't leave Tiger Claw alone. If he wakes up, he can cause trouble again." Karai said, pointing to the knocked-out mutant tiger.
"Don't worry." said an unknown voice that surprised the two girls who turned their heads to see that the voice originated in the spiritual zone of the area, where they could see several bright eyes. "We will take care of him. Go help the Avatar."
Without question, the two left to find out what was going on.
Raph and Mako stood up as they gasped for air after their underwater punching session courtesy of the mutant fish, which walked slowly toward them.
"Ready, boys? It's time to get back to swim class." said Fishface.
Mako threw a wave of fire at him, but Fishface jumped aside to avoid it.
"The class is over." Mako said.
"Yeah. Let's go to the fighting class." said Raph before he jumped in to attack the Foot mutant.
Fishface defended himself against the mutant turtle's assault with his butterfly blade, dodging and blocking his every attack. A short time later, Raph stepped aside, letting Fishface suffer Mako's fire bombardment, causing a small explosion that brought him down.
Fishface got up from the ground and gave both of them a look of rage.
"You will regret this." Fishface said before charging toward them.
Raph was the first to attack him with his sais, only to have Fishface jump on him and land behind him, then kick him with his metal legs. Mako threw him some fireballs, but Fishface dodged them all as he approached him, then kicked him again and sent him to Raph's side.
"Is that all you've got?" Fishface asked.
"No." Mako began as he and Raph got up. A fireball formed in his clenched fist. "It was just a warm-up."
Raph threw himself back into the fight against Fishface and the two were in a knife exchange until they were forced apart by a flame from Mako. Raph took advantage of that moment and approached him with a horizontal kick.
As soon as he recovered, he started charging towards them. Raph prepared to attack him, but Fishface jumped on him and began his charge, revealing that Raph wasn't his target but Mako, which left both of them surprised.
Fishface took advantage of that small moment of distraction to give the firebender an axe kick, who grabbed the metal leg of the mutant fish, but because of the force he was putting into the attack, Mako was forced to lie on the ground on one knee.
Fishface chuckled, thinking he had the victory, but that smile faded when he noticed Mako's hands shining and his leg starting to melt. He quickly stepped back to get out of it, but it was too late, because by the time he put that leg down, it was so melted that it was shattered.
As he tried to stand on one leg, Raph took advantage of that to go over and cut off the leg with his sais, leaving the mutant fish legless. The last thing Fishface saw was Raph and Mako coming at him and giving him several punches and kicks, leaving him unconscious at the end.
They both gasped a bit because of the fight they had just finished.
"Uf, it's a good thing it's over." said Raph.
"Not yet. There are still a few foot-bots loose in the city. Not to mention Shredder and his mutants." said Mako.
"Yeah, that's right." said Raph annoyed that there were still more.
At that moment, both of them noticed strange behavior in the clouds of the sky.
"Wow. Is there a storm coming?" Raph asked.
"Those clouds are swirling over the Temple of the Air Island. Something must be happening there." said Mako.
"Then let's find out." said Raph before the two of them left the site.
Rahzar lifted his other claw with the intention of killing the turtle and the earthbender who were imprisoned by his other claw. Fortunately, Mikey was able to catch a smoke bomb that he threw at Rahzar, which caused both of them to be released before the mutant dog got rid of all the smoke.
Rahzar grunted before lunging at Mikey, who jumped back and forth, dodging the mutant dog's claw attacks. Bolin was forced to stand aside because he was at a disadvantage.
Mikey dropped another smoke bomb to disappear, leaving Rahzar confused until, appearing suddenly, Mikey kicked him in the back. Rahzar realized Bolin's situation and decided to go after him.
Mikey tried to stop him, but Rahzar managed to catch up with Bolin in time to try to bite him, but the earthbender rolled aside to avoid the mutant dog's jaws.
"Don't forget me." said Mikey, throwing some shurikens at him, but the mutant dog was able to block them with his bony claws.
"Believe me, I haven't forgotten either of you." Rahzar said before jumping in to cut them off.
Mikey fought off the mutant dog's claws with his nunchucks and when he saw an opening, he proceeded to hit it. However, Rahzar expected that and grabbed Mikey before keeping him hanging over the water under the platform.
"Hey! Let him go!" shouted Bolin.
"Or what? You'll throw a grain of sand at me? Once I'm done with him, you'll be next." Rahzar began before focusing on Mikey. "The game is over."
That made something click in Bolin's mind and that's when he hit his head mentally at how stupid he was for not realizing where they were. In the place where he, Mako and Korra lived many things and, above all, played many pro-bending games.
"Hey, Rahzar!" said Bolin, drawing the attention of the mutant dog. "Let's move on to another game." Bolin began before stepping on the floor and making a couple of dirt discs come out of a couple of compartments. "It's called... catching the disc." said Bolin before throwing them at him.
The discs hit the mutant dog directly, causing him to let go of Mikey who was able to hold on to the edge to avoid falling. Bolin continued to throw ground discs at Rahzar, giving him no time to defend himself and causing him to retreat further and further until he was on the edge of the platform. By that time, the pucks were gone, but Rahzar was too dazed by the blows.
"Booyakasha!" shouted Mikey as he ran towards him and then hit him a couple of times with his nunchucks before kicking him in the chest, knocking him off the platform and falling into the water below. By the time his body showed, he looked unconscious.
"AND RAHZAR IS ELIMINATED!" shouted Bolin as if he were the announcer of the game.
"Dude! That was the most amazing thing I've ever seen! Now I'm even more looking forward to playing the pro-bending game!" exclaimed Mikey.
"I'm telling you. Come on, let's go see if anyone needs our help." said Bolin.
When the two of them left, the first thing they noticed was the clouds swirling over the Temple of the Air Island. It didn't take a genius to know that something bad was happening, so with a nod to each other, they set out for the island to find out the cause of the bad weather.
Donnie would jump around to avoid Stockman's missiles. He slipped behind him and hit him in the back of the legs to knock him down a bit. He then tried to hit him in the head, but Stockman grabbed his staff and began moving it around high in the air like a flag, with Donnie screaming as he suffered the pressure of the turn.
"And you're zzzzupposed to be the zzzzmart one." Stockman asked before throwing Donnie into another Satomobile. "You can't fight my intellect."
Donnie stood up and remembered that lesson Splinter told them when they first faced that armor. He didn't have to fight the armor, but the person inside.
"I'm the smart one, Stockman. Much more than you will ever be." Donnie said.
"Let'zzzz zzzzee if you zzzztill zzzzay that when you die." said Stockman, lowering his robotic fist toward him, but Donnie dodged it.
At that moment, Donnie realized something. Stockman's robotic fist had completely destroyed the Satomobile and some sparks came from the engine that affected the robot for a thousandth of a second. Stockman ignored it, but Donnie saw it as a chance to win.
Stockman continued to try to hit it with his robotic fists, but Donnie dodged every blow as he moved on. Stockman, sick of it, raised both arms to increase the damage, but Donnie dodged it by sliding under the armor and leaving a cover of smoke in the impact zone with a smoke bomb to distract.
While distracted, Donnie quickly approached a Satomobile and opened the engine compartment. Fortunately, there were two connecting wires nearby and he connected a portion of those wires to the engine battery. Feeling ready, Donnie turned to see Stockman.
"Don't tell me that's all that armor can do? I've seen Mikey make a better one and he's stupider than you." Donnie said.
That hit a nerve in the mutant fly and he turned to charge Donnie, which he expected, because when he felt the right moment, he jumped on it and landed on the armor and before Stockman tried to catch him, Donnie connected the other side of the wires in the robot.
Before Stockman's robotic arms reached him, he jumped away from them, pulled the hidden blade out of his staff, and then threw his staff like a javelin into the Satomobile, impacting the engine. This caused a reaction that activated the battery and sent an electric current through the wires to Stockman's armor.
The electricity covered the armor and Stockman completely, even his skeleton was seen blinking and in the end, the armor exploded, leaving a smokescreen. When it dissipated, Donnie saw Stockman on the ground, scorched and unconscious.
"And that's why I'm the smart one." Donnie said before looking at the damage done to his friend's facility. "Uh, I'm going to have to pay Asami for this." That's when he noticed the clouds over the island. "What in the name of Darwin is going on?" he asked himself before running in that direction to investigate.
Leatherhead continued his fight with Rocksteady. The mutant rhino hit him in the face with his hammer and tried to keep up with his sickle, but Leatherhead grabbed his wrist and threw it into a building.
Rocksteady got up and pulled out his machine gun, throwing a round of bullets at the mutant crocodile. Leatherhead was able to move fast enough to escape the bullets as he approached the mutant rhino. In the end, Leatherhead grabbed the gun with his jaws and hit Rocksteady with his tail.
As he recovered, he could see Leatherhead biting into his gun and spitting out the remains.
"You are a monster. As soon as I'm done with you, I'll smash the head of that little girl from the air like a blueberry." said Rocksteady.
That made the mutant crocodile's eyes turn white and he let out a loud roar before hurtling towards Rocksteady at such a speed that he couldn't react in time to prevent Leatherhead from grabbing him by the leg.
Leatherhead began hitting Rocksteady on the ground several times like a rag doll and then threw him into a nearby vehicle that ended up being crushed under his weight. Before the mutant rhinoceros could get up, Leatherhead jumped at him with his fists raised and lowered them over his head, finally knocking him out.
After that, Leatherhead's eyes returned to normal.
"Nobody threatens my friends." said Leatherhead.
"That's the way to talk, Leatherhead!" said Ikki. Suddenly, April groaned in pain as she grabbed her head. "April? What's wrong with you?" asked Ikki.
"I don't know, but I feel a great energy building up in one area. And also, a lot of anger." said April.
"Where?" asked Leatherhead.
April concentrated for a few seconds until she pointed in one direction.
"That way." said April.
Looking in that direction, they could see the mass of clouds over a certain island.
"That's my home. Something bad must be happening." said Ikki.
"Go investigate, we'll take care of Rocksteady." said April.
"Be careful, Ikki." said Leatherhead.
"I will. Thanks, guys." said Ikki before running back to her house on the island to find out what was going on.
Slash tried to hit Bebop with his morning star, but the mutant boar continually dodged the attacks with dance moves and the worst thing, for the mutant boar, was that Bebop kept talking and making fun of him.
"Hey, hey! Is that all you got?" Bebop asked before ducking backwards as if in limbo to avoid the mutant turtle's weapon.
"Why don't you just shut up?" Slash asked, having lost his patience.
"What's going on, buddy? Too stressed out to fight. Let me help you with that." Bebop said before throwing a Mohawk shell at him, which caused an explosion that sent Slash back. "Oh, yeah! How about that, huh? You sure liked it."
"Let's see how you like this!" exclaimed a voice.
Bebop turned in the direction of the voice, but the moment he did so, he was greeted by a punch wrapped in air of Meelo. That caused Bebop to be sent crashing into a building, leaving a crater in the impact zone, and he fell to the ground knocked out.
"Ah, I can finally hear the sound of my thoughts." Slash said, sighing with relief.
"Yes, I was thinking of intervening," Casey mentioned.
"That was a good punch, kid, by the way." said Slash, patting the young airbender's head.
"Thank you." Meelo said, smiling at the appreciation.
"Hey, guys. I know I'm new to this world, but is that normal?" asked Casey pointing to a certain set of clouds over a certain island.
"No. It's not. And that's worrisome." said Meelo.
"So, don't waste your time and get over there." said Casey.
"There are still some foot-bots loose. We'll stay here and take care of them." said Slash.
Nodding in agreement, Meelo set up an air scooter to go quickly to the island where the clouds were swirling.
Leo and Asami continued their search for the Avatar until they reached the docks. Once there, they stopped as soon as they saw the clouds swirling over the Temple of the Air Island.
"What the hell is that?" Leo asked.
While Leo was confused by the strange weather, Asami had a slight idea of what the cause was.
"It's Korra! She must have entered the Avatar State or something." said Asami.
"We have to get there as soon as possible." said Leo.
Asami looked around trying to think of something when she found what she was looking for.
"There." said Asami pointing to a nearby boat. "We can take that to get to the island."
"Good. Let's go!" said Leo.
Without a second thought, the two climbed on the boat and set a quick course for the island where Korra was most likely to be. They just hoped that nothing serious was happening or that it was too late.
Korra raised a large amount of water that she separated into multiple drops and then turned them into icicles. Stretching her arms forward, she sent all the icicles to the leader of the Foot. Shredder dodged some of them while the rest he blocked with his gauntlets or his airbending.
He crossed his arms in an X position and then opened them, causing four waves of X-shaped cutting wind to be sent toward Korra, but she raised a ground platform to propel herself upward and dodge the attack. While in the air, Korra used the earthbending to raise the platform and send it to Shredder who used the airbending to propel himself away from the missile.
The thrust sent him to where Korra was (still in the air) and delivered an axe kick that sent her to the ground. Shredder went down with his leg stretched out to give him a much stronger blow, but Korra put her hands on the ground and began to spin, generating a tornado of fire from her legs that forced Shredder to turn away at the last moment.
"Is that the powerful Avatar State I've heard so much about? Wait for something else." Shredder said before lunging at Korra the moment she unleashed the tornado of fire to punch her in the stomach. "It looks like that woman sacrificed herself for nothing."
That only made Korra's anger stronger. She stretched her arms forward in a gust of wind so strong that it knocked Shredder down.
"SHUT UP NOW, MONSTER!" shouted Korra in an echoing voice.
Shredder quickly recovered and prepared to continue the fight.
"Make me." Shredder said.
Korra wrapped her fists in fire and lunged at Shredder with a cry of rage. Korra tried to hit him with her fists of fire, but Shredder dodged the attacks before trying to stab her, but Korra jumped in time to avoid him.
Korra sent several spiked columns towards Shredder, but the leader of the Foot jumped to avoid it, landed on one of the columns and used it as a path to run towards the Avatar. Shredder threw a couple of waves of biting wind from his claws, but Korra raised a wall of earth thick enough to resist it and then threw it at him, who used airbending to get through.
Shredder approached her and the two went into a small, old-fashioned fight, alone with their own bodies. However, Shredder was more prepared than she was on that field. Korra was trying to hit him, but Shredder was faster than her in dodging attacks, and when Shredder attacked, he did so at such speed that Korra didn't give him time to block them.
With one last punch, Shredder made Korra back up and before she fought back, Shredder approached her again and kneed her in the stomach before hitting her in the face and kicking her in the side, knocking her to the ground.
"You possess a power that many would desire, a power that would even equal that of the gods, but that power is wasted on someone pathetic and weak like you. If all your friends die it will be your fault." Shredder said.
Korra clenched her fists as her anger at him grew with every moment and word.
Shredder was about to attack again when suddenly, Korra stood up and sent a huge flame from her mouth, like a dragon. Shredder was able to react quickly and used a draft as a shield. He managed to protect himself from the attack, but the fire was deflected everywhere and even if it didn't touch him, he could feel the searing heat of the attack.
As the attack faded, Shredder straightened up and saw Korra casting a look at him that, if it were anyone, would be shaking with fear at such a look.
After a few minutes, Leo and Asami had finally arrived on the island with the boat they had taken. But the moment they stepped on land; they saw several lines of fire being fired towards the horizon.
"Korra!" shouted Asami before running to where the attack originated.
"Asami, wait!" said Leo trying to stop her, but she didn't listen to him, since all she cared about was helping her girlfriend.
When Asami arrived at the scene, her eyes were opened to what was happening.
Korra (in the Avatar State) lifted several rocks off the ground and then reduced them to multiple small stones. Holding the stones up with one hand, she used the other to create an air funnel and then shoved the stones into the funnel which fired them at Shredder like a machine gun.
Shredder was able to block some stones with his airbending (to Asami's surprise, since she hadn't seen him before), but due to the speed of the stones' arrival, the ones he couldn't block or avoid hit him hard all over his body, even though they were small.
Then Korra ran towards him as she wrapped her fists around him, creating gauntlets of rock. She began hitting Shredder several times with her gauntlets, causing him quite a bit of damage. With one blow, he knocked him back and then sent his rock gauntlets as if they were missiles that hit him directly and knocked him down.
As soon as he got up, he sent out a couple of waves of shear wind from his claws, but Korra sent out her own waves of shear wind that on impact with Shredder's, both attacks exploded.
Asami smiled when she saw that Shredder was being defeated, but that smile faded when she saw the look on Korra's face. It wasn't the happy look she usually gets or the loving look she gets when they're together or even the serious look when she takes her Avatar work seriously. No. It was a look he had rarely seen on her girlfriend; a look of anger and hate. And that made her worry a lot.
Korra formed on each side of her a ring of water (right side) and a ring of fire (left side), both the size of her body, and threw them at Shredder, who threw a powerful air current from his two hands to destroy the rings, causing a small explosion on each impact.
Korra took advantage of that moment to send a gust of wind that hit him in the chest, knocking him down in the process, and then she locked him in a pyramid of earth, leaving his head exposed.
Although Asami was there as a spectator, Korra hadn't noticed her presence, as her angry gaze was fixed solely on the leader of the Foot.
Shredder laughed lightly. "I admit it. You've proven yourself." Shredder said.
"Shut up!" shouted Korra, causing her girlfriend some fear.
"Go ahead, kill me. You have me at your mercy. Do your duty as an Avatar and protect this world by eliminating me." said Shredder.
"It will be my pleasure." said Korra before using the metalbending to bring her a metal plate (which Kuvira dropped on the way), which she modified to form a dagger.
Korra threw a scream at the top of her lungs as she prepared to deliver the final blow, but…
"STOP!"
That scream made Korra stop, with the dagger an inch away from Shredder's neck. Turning her head, she was surprised to discover that the source of the voice was Asami.
"Korra, stop!" shouted Asami.
"A... A... Asami?" asked Korra surprised to see her girlfriend there from all sides as she left the Avatar State. She turned around and dropped the metal dagger. "She... was here the whole time?"
"Korra, please don't do this." said Asami as she approached her.
"Don't tell me you're defending him?" asked Korra angrily.
"I'm not defending him! He's a monster who deserves all the pain he gets, but I don't want you to do something you'll regret!" said Asami.
"What?" asked a confused Korra.
"The words of feeling are empty and meaningless. You can become more than you are if you leave it behind." Shredder said as the eyes of both women turned to him.
Before anyone could say or do anything, Leo jumped in front of him.
"I don't like interruptions, so do us a favor and shut up!" Leo said before throwing a bomb in his face that, when it exploded, covered his mouth with a sticky liquid, preventing him from talking. Then he turned to the Avatar. "Asami is right, Korra. You can't do this."
"Leo, after all the things he did to you and your family, how can you ever forgive him?" Korra said angrily.
"I'm not forgiving him! Believe me when I tell you that he deserves what you were about to do to him, but you can't do this." said Leo.
"Why? Because master Splinter wouldn't approve? Because it's hard to cross that line?" asked Korra.
"NO. It isn't because it is difficult to cross that line, but because it is very easy. After all he did to my family, my friends and Splinter, all I wanted to do was kill him." Leo said, to the surprise of the two women. "But if I do that, I wouldn't be the same as before, I would be someone like him, someone who was driven by hate and revenge."
"He's right, Korra." began Asami, calling her attention to herself. "Do you remember why my father was with the Equalists? He had so much hatred for the benders that all he could think about was getting revenge on them and it got to the point where he was even willing to hurt me. When I saw you in the same state... so full of anger and hatred... I was afraid of you."
That made Korra feel like a prick in the heart. Her girlfriend... being afraid of her? She never expected anything like that to happen in her life. There were times when people were afraid of the Avatar and that didn't matter much to her, but hearing it from the person she loved the most was something very different, something that affected her directly in the depths of her being.
Korra held her head while breathing heavily.
"Am I... am I... really... a monster?" Korra asked.
"No! You aren't a monster!" began Asami placing her hands on her shoulders. "Listen to me, Korra. You are the strongest, kindest, and most loving person I know. No matter what happens, you are my girlfriend and I will always love you." said Asami with a loving smile.
"You aren't alone, Korra. And you never will be." Leo said with a smile.
Korra was so moved by the words of both of them that the first thing she did was to hug Asami as she buried her head in her shoulder and shed a tear. Asami gently hugged him back as she continued to cry.
"Shhh. It's okay. It's okay." said Asami comforting her.
After a couple of minutes, Korra stepped aside and wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Are you okay?" Leo asked.
"Yes, I will be anyway." said Korra.
"Come on. Let's go get help taking out the trash." Leo said as the three began to walk away.
Shredder couldn't believe his eyes. He'd gotten the Avatar to bring out her anger and was about to kill him, but a few words from her girlfriend and the mutant turtle had erased that anger and now they were walking away like it was no big deal.
Full of rage and anger at all that, he used every ounce of strength and emitting a loud groan of exertion (because his mouth was still blocked) managed to emit an explosion of air that released him from his stone prison and alerted the other three.
Taking the substance out of his mouth, he began to speak. "Pathetic. But it was to be expected from those who follow the weak will of Hamato Yoshi." he began before turning his gaze to the Avatar. "You should have killed me when you had the chance. However, now that you are out of the Avatar State, it will be easier for me to kill you. There is no way the three of you can beat me."
"Learn to count, buckethead." said a voice familiar to all.
Turning to the side, everyone saw Raph standing next to them along with Mikey, Donnie, Karai, Mako, Bolin, Jinora, Ikki and Meelo.
"Guys!" the three shouted, happy to see their friends/brothers.
Shredder glared at them all, but they all ignored him.
"We couldn't let you have all the fun." said Karai.
"How did you find us?" asked Korra.
"We followed the cloud show you made." said Raph pointing to the sky.
"Pretty cool trick, by the way. You look like you're going to summon Noah's flood." said Mikey.
"What about the Foot troops?" asked Asami.
"Don't worry, the others will take care of them." said Donnie.
"As soon as we resolved the situation, we came as soon as we could." Mako said.
"And now that we're here, let's put that guy in his place." Bolin said.
"You've taken the words right out of my mouth." said Meelo.
"You better not leave us behind." said Ikki.
"Yes, we want our share too." said Jinora.
"What is stopping you? Just stay safe, understand?" asked Korra with a nod from the three young airbenders.
Shredder extended his claws as a breeze surrounded him. "It's time to end this," said Shredder.
The heroes began to surround Shredder, drawing their weapons and taking up a position of bending. Everyone looked at him furiously and ready to finish him off once and for all.
"All right, guys." Leo began. "All together. Let's get him!"
AN: Uf. I admit it, this is the first time I do chapters of parts, especially so many. Now, with everything very well placed, the final fight comes. How will this war end? You'll know in the next chapter.
