A/N:This idea just came to me and is based on something similar my dad did when I was a kid.

"Deeks, what are you doing?" Kensi asked, coming in from her morning run to find him and Caleb surrounded by toys and several articles of clothing.

"We're playing dress up," Deeks explained, gesturing to Caleb's attire, a cowboy hat, scuffed up boots and a purple vest, and then himself.

"I can see that, but why exactly are you wearing one of my shirts?" Deeks looked down at his torso. He wore a sleeveless blue bottom up shirt, tied in a knot just below his chest so the majority of his stomach was visible.

"Oh, I hope you don't mind that I borrowed it." Kensi gaped at him for a moment, rubbing her temple.

"No, no, I don't mind," she assured him. "But you still haven't explained why you're wearing it. Or why you thought it was a good idea to make it midriff."

"Well, you see, I'm the damsel in distress." Caleb nodded seriously and added.

"And I'm the cowboy sheriff who saves her life."

"Of course you are."

"Anyway, I was looking for a dress of yours, but I didn't think any of them would fit. So I put this on instead," Deeks continued as though it was the logical solution.

"Ok, that I can understand, but why did you do this?" Kensi said, gesturing to the floppy bits of fabric that dangled over his stomach.

"Caleb didn't think I looked pretty enough."

"Do you think he looks pretty, Mommy?"

"He looks pretty something," Kensi replied, shaking her head. Caleb smiled happily and handed her a spare hat.

"You wanna be a bad guy?" he asked and as usual, Kensi couldn't deny him.

"I would love to." She gave him a kiss on the cheek which he accepted dutifully.

"Ok, I'll get one of Daddy's shirts." As he scampered off, Kensi turned to Deeks, shuddering at the sight.

"You need to take that off right now," she told Deeks seriously. He grinned at her and started twirling the ends of the shirt.

"I'm sorry, sir," he drawled. "But this is a strictly g-rated western."

"Deeks, I'm serious."

"So am I. This shirt isn't coming off for any man." Kensi glared at him, ready to argue the point further, but Caleb came running back in. He handed Kensi a black shirt and then started rooting around in the box they kept dress up stuff in. When he was sufficiently distracted, Kensi leaned towards Deeks and said,

"When this is over, we're burning that shirt."
